While sitting outside on a clear night, noticed a large bright oval shaped light going horizontal while looking to the southeast....stopped, and then traveled straight up into the sky for a second and then the light just disappeared. I didn't know where to report this but I just say a bright orange globe, about 7-8 feet in length, go across the sky from south to North, traveling 3-5 miles a secondand then slowed down and stopped in front of a church in the middle of this park area in Swansea, IL. When it was in front of the church to the left side of me about 100 yards away, the orange glow it had been letting off vanished, but I could see the black dark sphere hovering about 10 feet from the ground. I was driving in my car about 20 mph through the park at this time. But as it was in front of the church on the side of me I got some crazy chills, didn't bother looking again at it, and drove faster down the road. Faster than the speed limit at that point. This all happened between 8:28pm- 8:35pm CT 9/6/2015

Orange circular object seeming quite close and large. Very bright. It moved eastward and then changed directions back to the west before appearing to pick up speed and gain altitude. The light dimmed and shortly disappeared. There was no sound whatsoever. It was a family camping trip in which the entire family watched the event unfold. I had been seeing an amber object in the sky for many months that did not fit the description of any aircraft. It is in the Western sky every night at around 20:00 when I go outside. A couple weeks ago, I noticed that it was moving in no special pattern and not moving very far. It would descend to the left, hover, then ascend upward to the right. Other movements could be seen, also. No matter which way it moved, the view did not change. It didn't tip or bank to ascend or descend. This object (no pictures) could be described to be in the shape of a sphere with a tail (or part of the craft) that comes from the orb in a downward 45% angle to the left. The tail is a bit narrower than the orb and about twice as long as it's diameter. A couple hours later it has moved toward the Northern sky and sometimes appears bright white. I have shown my fiancee, my daughter, grandson and our neighbor. We are all in agreement to it's actions. One night the object had moved extremely high in the sky to where it looked half it's size. Two nights ago, I noticed a second one moving in the same manner in the North and then a bit later a third to the Northeast. When I go to work in the morning at 05:00, I see one of most of the way to work (25 miles). It is impossible to tell the size of these objects because I have no way of telling how far away they are. These are readily visible every night the sky is clear. This is not a one time viewing.

Went to get binoculars to better see a sphere of light that just hung in sky at first. Through the binoculars it was diffetent shades of red pulsing light that seem to continually fold in on itself. I watched it for a short time when it just seem to quickly vanish from horizon.

On 9/3/15, at about 8:00pm, while driving south on state Hwy. 288 just south of CR-1462 in Roasharon, Texas, I witnessed an object streak from upper west, to lower east, at about a 45 deg angle to the ground, in about 2-3 seconds. The object was very bright white to silvery and had a green light rotating around it (about 3 times or so). The motion of the main object appeared to be a straight line not an arc. It seemed as if it should have hit the ground over the horizon though I have no evidence that it did. I have seen nothing move as fast as it did. It did not look like a meteor. As to size my out stretched index fingertip would just cover it.

When the picture is blown up – above the 1st two lights another object shows up but it is not glowing? On 2nd of Sept. 2015, 6 lights in the western sky at sunset .. They were in a staggered formation. Direction North to South. Site was west of Edmonton Aberta- heading to Mayerthorpe Alberta. (Canada) Enclosed a picture taken with an Iphone. The object was moving in a straight line no noise, it had a haze around it in the shape of a sideways boomerang and a thick contrail, it was not in a perfect straight line i saw two jets heading in the direction a few mins after seeing the object, the aura was huge i thought it was going to crash never seen anything like it. These pose as stars but way to big and bright and watch them closely and they move and their lights go crazy also way to low to be a star and it happens now every night.. As I'm walking home, I notice a few lights in the sky in formation, thinkin it's helicopters, when behind the trees more follow behind after 30 seconds they dissapeared, 5 minutes later all the dogs in the my neighborhood went crazy including mine.

It was an unusually beautiful day with light beaming down between the clouds when I took a picture from Mount Tabor over to Portland and didn't notice until later that there was a green globe in one of the shots. It was a perfect sphere which came out well on my Galaxy S5 phone. It could only have been there for just a few seconds since I was snapping a lot of pictures in succession. I noticed there was another person that had seen a green fear (sic. Sphere) as well in Oregon to end at the exact same time one week earlier and I thought this was quite a coincidence.

I was at a friends house in the boise foothills when I saw a blue light in the sky. It started moving right to left slowly like a plane but then it picked up speed and shot left disappearing as it accelerated. I ran inside to grab my phone so I could hopefully catch some video and when I came out it had reappeared. It moved right then sharply down then right and down again moving behind a hill. I was unable to take any video of the event unfortunately

A large orangish red sphere hovered for approximately 10 minutes. I called my boyfriend to the back porch when he also witnessed the unidentified flying object. We watched as the craft moved slowly east to west when it paused and hovered for about 3 minutes. The craft took off to the northwest as we watched before disappearing. It was overcast skies and it flew beneath the clouds so it was easy to see. This was not a usual aircraft. It was completely silent. ((ADDENDUM FROM SOURCE OF REPORT)) Hello Peter! The sighting happened at approximately 12:00 am this morning (Sunday) I did not get any video because we were kind of in shock as to what we were seeing. It wasn't until after we came back in that I realized i should have grabbed my phone. I didn't even know I could even report it until I did some online research to see if we were the only ones who saw the object!! I will definitely keep my eyes peeled to the sky and if it comes back, I will be ready to record it!! My wife and I were watching an air show from our balcony 8 years ago, there were 4 or 5 black orbs sitting still in a triangular formation originally we thought that they were drones but the airport would have shut that down quickly given how close they were to the jets. We were taking pictures with our camera of one of the jets and as soon as it completed the fly by, the orbs moved in sync in a very straight line across the sky. Their speed wasn't, incredibly fast but just an effortless speed if that makes any sense, no delay, just a singular movement. They picked up speed as soon as they cleared where the jet had passed and faded into the distance very quickly, we did happen to accidentally get a picture of them sitting and waiting but its buried in an old SD card or one of our old hard drive, but my wife being a massive skeptic at the time and then seeing the release of the orb videos is now convinced that what we saw was not what we initially thought. I looked in the news for any other sightings almost a year later and there was nothing, I also looked for any coverage about drones flying too close to the show but also came up with nothing. When zoomed in on the pictures, all I could remember is that they looks like jet black balls, very little shine to them in the sunlight, and were fairly large considering how far away they were, rough estimate would have been 5 to 8 feet but speherical.

We have seen a sphere-shaped unidentified object that changed light (several lights around the sphere) from blue to white to red, staying on the same place till disappearing on the sky and reappearing after 40 seconds and re-disapearing for all, no sound only some dogs sounds not moving at all. I left my home on N. Penn and Covell heading west to N. May Ave. Heading south on May on the left side heading SW I saw a bright red orb that would change to a per second green pulse. I timed the duration to every five seconds (solid red for five seconds, then green. The green would pulse per second for five seconds then back to solid red). I followed it to my destination on 164th and May and it began to hover and move erratically above a bank. I go in, do my business, come back. It was still hovering. Then after I opened my car door, it vanished. Heading north on May, I saw a bright yellowish orange slow moving orb with no pulsating lights slowly moving the same direction as the previous orb. This one had a bright blue beam that would emit from the base. It vanished when I approached Penn.

Last week, on the 26th of August, my wife and I were headed home on WV Route 2 South near McMechen, WV. In the sky to the south she told me to look in the sky, asking if I saw anything, looking up I saw a silver spherical object headed south west. We both described the item the same way, as a moving silver orb, with no visible wings or propellers. It seemed to steer more west as we observed it (3 minutes), and after passing through a small cloud, it was gone

I took a couple of more pictures and still saw it hovering away further. the illumination of the orb was much greater than what I caught on my camera, then it was just gone. I never seen anything like this. made no sound but just vanishes.

Due to the smoke and pollution in the sky, the lighting was strange this afternoon. I stepped out on my deck, facing the west, to take a few photos of the sun rays coming through the clouds. Approximately an hour later, I looked at the photos that I had taken and saw a green sphere which moved up and to the north in the time between the first and second photos. The photos were taken one immediately after the other at 5:31 pm. I saw nothing in the sky at the time that I took the photos. Would like some insight about whether or not this type of object has been reported. My son made a report to you about a sighting in Hawaii a few years ago. We enjoyed interacting with you at that time and hope to be able to speak with you again. Thank you. Object is a lens flare, caused by photographing the Sun. PD
