My wife and I were watching an air show from our balcony 8 years ago, there were 4 or 5 black orbs sitting still in a triangular formation originally we thought that they were drones but the airport would have shut that down quickly given how close they were to the jets. We were taking pictures with our camera of one of the jets and as soon as it completed the fly by, the orbs moved in sync in a very straight line across the sky. Their speed wasn't, incredibly fast but just an effortless speed if that makes any sense, no delay, just a singular movement. They picked up speed as soon as they cleared where the jet had passed and faded into the distance very quickly, we did happen to accidentally get a picture of them sitting and waiting but its buried in an old SD card or one of our old hard drive, but my wife being a massive skeptic at the time and then seeing the release of the orb videos is now convinced that what we saw was not what we initially thought. I looked in the news for any other sightings almost a year later and there was nothing, I also looked for any coverage about drones flying too close to the show but also came up with nothing. When zoomed in on the pictures, all I could remember is that they looks like jet black balls, very little shine to them in the sunlight, and were fairly large considering how far away they were, rough estimate would have been 5 to 8 feet but speherical.
