Sphere over MA

I had been seeing an amber object in the sky for many months that did not fit the description of any aircraft. It is in the Western sky every night at around 20:00 when I go outside. A couple weeks ago, I noticed that it was moving in no special pattern and not moving very far. It would descend to the left, hover, then ascend upward to the right. Other movements could be seen, also. No matter which way it moved, the view did not change. It didn't tip or bank to ascend or descend. This object (no pictures) could be described to be in the shape of a sphere with a tail (or part of the craft) that comes from the orb in a downward 45% angle to the left. The tail is a bit narrower than the orb and about twice as long as it's diameter. A couple hours later it has moved toward the Northern sky and sometimes appears bright white. I have shown my fiancee, my daughter, grandson and our neighbor. We are all in agreement to it's actions. One night the object had moved extremely high in the sky to where it looked half it's size. Two nights ago, I noticed a second one moving in the same manner in the North and then a bit later a third to the Northeast. When I go to work in the morning at 05:00, I see one of most of the way to work (25 miles). It is impossible to tell the size of these objects because I have no way of telling how far away they are. These are readily visible every night the sky is clear. This is not a one time viewing.
