Le 25 octobre 2013 à 20h deux personnes constatent la présence dans le ciel d'un point blanc lumineux et fixe dans le ciel. Dans la direction Sud-Ouest à l'heure de l'observation, on constate la planète Vénus, particulièrement brillante à cette époque (magnitude -5, son maximum), associée à un ciel très transparent (visibilité 35 km) malgré des nuages (Voir relevé Meteociel). Ceci a provoqué des conditions exceptionnelles pour rendre remarquable l'observation de cette planète. Un passage nuageux aura ensuite caché la planète aux témoins. Le GEIPAN classe ce cas "A" : observation de Vénus. Nota : Le témoin indique une hauteur sur l'horizon de 45°, alors que la photo montre une élévation bien plus faible, compatible avec les 8°30' de l'élévation réelle de l'astre.
