I went to my deck looking at the sky saw to s/e a round oval shape was like a very bright yellowish then it moved fast up then as it did I had a bright light in my eye then took off fast over the house went to the n/w it sounded like a jet plane it was fast there was two of them in the first of the year an watched them an all thru the summer till that day only one there I had sent a picture to a friend he said it was strange there was a lot of electrical interference with devices in house an car an even in the house strange today only one up looks very bright almost like the others but bright I have never saw any thing like this before was shocking though

An object appeared above and in front of me as I was taking some time to watch the Aurora Borealis. It made no sound and made a wavering path initially West and then ending up heading Northwest. The main object appeared round, but seemed to have a significant electrical charge as the object had a surrounding cloud or sphere of charged particles that was roughly half the diameter of the moon with the brighter center portion being about as bright as Jupiter initially and comparable for relative size from my vantage point. It appeared to moving within the Aurora Borealis as the sky itself was clear, but the cloud of particles (assumed) is what made it distingly different as the visible stars and planets did not have that hazy appearance about them. The center slowly faded in intensity at about the halfway point of it being visible, but the cloud remained illuminated of about the same color as the Aurora Borealis until it moved into a curtain of aurora as b! right as the object was. The object appeared to be moving at about half the speed of a satellite if not slower due to the duration. Its appearance initially as I faced it would have been about 30 degrees above the horizon, and when it disappeared it would have been about 45 degrees from the ground from my vantage point. The Sentinel 2A satellite was launched on a Vega rocket from the Guiana Space Center, last night at 9:52 PM EDT (Jun 23 01:52 UTC). A spider filament had caught my eye, but the object well behind it. What brought it to my attention was the craft seemed to be spinning end for end about it's center and it was shooting out a white plume in sort bursts that disipated quickly. I was facing almost due west, the object was relatively close to the sun in the sky, but the sun's location was essentially south of the object, The object was about 40 to 45 degrees above the horizon. The sun reflected off the object, which made it visible for the duration of viewing, giving it the appearance of metal reflecting sunlight. It appeared to straighten it's attitude to an East/West orientation but at the same time appeared to be drifitng to the North and slightly East until it disappeared from view. The spin was tight- too tight even for aerobatic aircraft. No other aircraft were immediately in the vicinity. The craft also was silent. Width to length ratio was about 1 to 15.

The initial flash was noted in the constellation Orphicus roughly on the celestial equator (that line that appears when you bring up an astronomy program.) on the left side of the constellation. I was facing generally south, the flash was bluish white similar to an aircraft strobe- only slow to rise to full intensity as each flash varied in intensity and timing after the initial bright flash and most were about 2 seconds in duration. Initially I thought it might be Nova (it was almost that bright), but the second flash eliminated that as a possibility. It was headed generally North on a meandering trajectory after heading West a few degrees that took about 7 to 10 minutes to cover about 30 degrees of the sky overhead. It was eventually lost in the high thin clouds blowing off an approaching storm North of my location. Not a conventional aircraft, no other lighting was visible other than the slow strobe and far too small to be a stray weather balloon. It is possible it "may" have been a satellite that just lost control, but the meandering path, which did head due west for a few degrees early in it's trajectory suggests otherwise. No noise, no contrail. No aircraft in area, and far too high to have been a lightning bug (which display different as well). Too far away from any fireworks displays to have been a stray cinder.

Blueish white light of increasing intensity then faded to black after a sharp cources correction.
