Le 3 août 2009 un témoin contacte le GEIPAN à propos d'une observation ancienne faite le 3 juin 2008 à 21h. Depuis le balcon du troisième étage, le témoin a observé la présence successive de trois objets de forme comparable à un ballon de rugby et de couleur brun et jaune délavé. Les objets se déplaçaient selon une trajectoire rectiligne dont deux dans le même sens. Aucun bruit n'a été entendu durant l'observation qui a duré une dizaine de secondes : le phénomène est sorti du champ d’observation occulté par des nuages. Au final, cette observation d'objets ovoïdes apparaît d’étrangeté faible à moyenne, avec une hypothèse assez probable d’observation d’avions perçus avec une forme et luminosité particulière du fait d’une heure proche du coucher du soleil (14 minutes plus tard). L’enquête trop tardive n’ayant pas permis de conforter cette hypothèse, ce cas est classé en « C » par manque d’information sur les vols d’aéronefs à ce moment-là. Plusieurs personnes dans un véhicule observent le 17 mai 2008 aux environs d'1h45 la présence dans le ciel d'un phénomène lumineux qui les intrigue : deux masses lumineuses de couleur blanche opaque se déplacent dans le ciel. Elles changent de forme, apparaissant puis disparaissant quelques secondes. La curiosité, éveillée par un article récent de la presse locale, l’excellente visibilité et la sophistication croissante des projecteurs d’animation ont surpris les témoins au point de les pousser à témoigner, pour ce qui n’est certainement qu’une méprise avec un projecteur de type Sky Rose. Un autre témoin a très probablement vu la même chose la nuit suivante (cas Cesson-Sévigné (35) 17.05.2008). Le GEIPAN classe ce cas "B" : observation probable d'animations lumineuses de type Skyrose.
