The object was spotted and was not moving at all for a very long time, then is slowly started moving to the left and then went straight away as it appeared to be getting smaller until we couldn't see it any longer. It was oval and glowing white. It was in the daylight. We looked at it with a camera and zoomed in on it and also looked with binoculars. There was a dark center or design on the middle of the oval. I personally did not get any pictures, but others did and I do not know them. Some people that saw it were tourists, but most of the people there lived in the area. Location was outdoors at a local restaurant.

Dear NUFORC, First and foremost, I would like to say "thank you" for the work that you do. It was a lovely, clear Saturday and I was home after directing morning music rehearsals at a local church. I was elated because the early evening was beatific in its summer breeze. Coming home to perfect summer weather was nice, as our church building has a cold-and-spooky vibe that leaves me drained. I was standing up on my porch, just enjoying the blue sky while my friend sat down to check her texts, when I suddenly saw something 25-50 ft overhead - something that I still cannot explain, as I have found little to no evidence. It was a highly reflective, metallic, glittery, shapeless poof of sparks that resembled blinking stars or fireworks. The blob was about 5 ft in length, had many sparks, appeared out of thin air and disappeared the same way. Toward the end of its appearance, the sparks seemed to coordinate with one another to make a formation that reminded me of a flock of birds flying very high overhead, at sunset. I can definitely confirm that this was not that. This was especially strange to me, and reminded me that I have a friend who has been researching UFO's for many years, and that she has found that they like to hide by imitating their environment. Back to the event, I was slack-jawed by what I was seeing, yet immediately alarmed my friend who was not able to look up from her screen to see the 2-5 second event. I would like to add that we were soberly sharing food, and that I don't suffer from any type of hallucinations. Finally, I was not scared at all by the proximity of this sighting...just blown away.

While driving on AC Expressway towards marina tunnel exit, I spotted this cloud like worm shape floating over the Bay Area Casinos. It was large & bright white floating horizontally in a clear blue sky. I only had a few minutes to observe it and watched it dip downwards but kept its long shape, this object was a solid mass and not a cloud or jet trail & it was gone a few minutes later by the time I came thru the tunnel.

My two friends and I went out to a camping trip behind the Oregon Mountains in Las Cruces, New Mexico, during the summer of 2019. My friends and I were star gazing when I and another noticed a faint red light appear out of nowhere in the night sky. The degree to which the light was dim suggested that the object was at a vast distance from the surface of the earth. I noticed a beam of red light protruding from the object; the overall shape of the anomaly was reminiscent to the shuttlecock used in the sport badminton. This object was not static, instead it moved in multiple directions within the small region of space that it occupied. This anomaly reminded me of a deep-ocean ROV examining a shipwreck as it seemed like the object was examining something that neither I or anyone else could see. Eventually we lost the anomaly within the sea of stars. Unfortunately the light was so dim that our phone cameras couldn't possibly have captured it.

I was having coffee on the notth porch with our cat. I heard a helicoptor and looked up for it but it went around behind our house so i could not see it, as i Was looking up i saw a craft very high and further north Moving extremely slow. From west to east. It looked like an Plus sign with 2 parallel bars going one way and just 1 going the other. The 3 bars were about the same length and had 3-D rectangular crossection. They were positioned. at about 45 degs to the direction of travel, they had a haze or aura i looked away to my cat for a split second, and when i looked back it was gone.

Round metallic object very high in the sky. Stationary for about half hour then moved East very slowly. Ongoing and still watching. Looking at it thru a spotting scope and the object is still just a metallic circle and nothing that can be identified by any of us.

Saw something barrel shaped and white up high (went in and out of clouds), looked like an oil drum on it's side, no visible lights, no sound, no vapor trail. Went from NE to SW. Was about the size of a pencil eraser held at arms length.

I would like to preface this report by saying that elements of the event extend beyond the sighting itself, but are nonetheless relevant. I filed a report to MUFON over a year ago, coincidentally on the anniversary date of the sighting. I was reached out to via email with questions, and never heard back from the investigator after I responded. I heard a pilot on a podcast today saying he was told to report to NUFORC, because they could FOIA radar data. The sighting took place near a USAF radar station, and I would assume military data may be inaccessible, but if it is accessible I would think the station picked up the object. FAA may also have track data as well, and I would love to hear of / see corroboration for this event you can track down for personal resolution. This is roughly the same report I filed to MUFON, but slightly better written to be more concise, include greater detail, as well as include potential personal insight gained since my initial report. Pre-Sighting: On the night of August 2nd into August 3rd I was at home / enjoying a night in, and was dozing in and out on my couch watching TV. Typical evening. In my half-sleep (near-sleep? hypnagogic?) state, I had a short dream/vision (unsure of how close to being asleep I actually was so I am unsure of how to characterize it) in which I was in my car at one of my usual places (a turnout overlooking the Sawtooth / Jacumba Mountain Wilderness) for stargazing/skywatching on Mount Laguna near the observatory, at night. I have seen unusual light displays that I could not explain there, as well as many meteor showers, so this is one of few places I go for this with relative frequency. Instantly recognizable. Of note, I was observing myself and the scene/turnout from a third-person perspective facing the driver’s side of my vehicle at a vantage point I can only equate to as standing across the road from the turnout. As I was observing this scene a large white light appeared above my car, which proceeded to turn on an incredibly bright spotlight shining down (or perhaps the white light appearing was the spotlight itself moving over my car) upon the car (with me sitting inside), and as I saw myself looking up at the light, I snapped out of it and was on my couch. When I rose, I had the unreasonable urge (I felt legitimately compelled to a degree I am not really familiar with) to go to the place I had just been in the dream/vision. It was late (after 1am), so I tried to brush it off and go to sleep in my bed. I remained there restless, filled with the urgent need to get in my car and drive to that turnout. This lasted for about 20 minutes, I decided to put my clothes and shoes on, and got in my car. The Sighting: I drove out to the spot, and the drive itself was uneventful aside from the constant anxious feeling that something was going transpire once I arrived at the location. Once there I pulled over, turned my lights off, and left my car running. I got out of my car to briefly stretch and everything seemed normal. Crystal clear sky, typical ambient noise for the area (owls, crickets). I got back in my car, sat for a few minutes, rolled down my windows, and began to cover my stereo and dash lights with a jacket (to mask any ambient light in my car so my eyes could adjust to the darkness), when I noticed a new frequency had entered my field of hearing. It was a very quiet, seemingly very low frequency, metallic hum or buzzing that remained static but had a faint, nearly indistinguishable rate of oscillation. At the same moment, I began to sense a strange feeling in the air and on my skin. Thinking it was the stereo potentially making the noise, I turned it down and turned off my car. Upon doing so, I became immediately aware of the lack of any animal noise (which had been there in full effect prior, when I got out of my car to stretch). With the stereo and car off now, there was only the faint oscillating hum, akin to a beehive (but truly an unfamiliar sound even for someone into sound design) but without the high end frequencies and closer now than before. Completely baffled and weirded out by this, I stuck my head out of my window. As I looked up, I saw a very, very large triangular egg shaped craft moving at an unusually slow speed directly overhead from my rear passenger side to come over the front driver’s side. The best shape I can equate it to is somewhere between a guitar pick and an egg placed on its side. It was much closer to ovoid in shape, but was somewhat wider like a guitar pick. It was not a triangle though, it was definitely ovoid. It was no higher than 500 feet above me, it felt like around 300 (or potentially less) but I’ll say 500 to be safe. There was almost no moon that night, so there was nothing to illuminate this craft from above, which aside from its “lights” only allowed me to make out the outline of it against the night sky to decipher its size and shape. I had initially said it was about the size of a football field, maybe a little smaller, but not much in both length and width (at its widest end). This was due to the fact that it covered almost the entirety of my field of vision as it was overhead, but I drove by a local high school’s football field yesterday and I would like to clarify that after having a better frame of reference, the object was about 1/3 the size of the field if you split it up into thirds by width. Still very large. On the underside, there were 3 large circular, almost oval or ovoid shaped lights that were glowing a reddish-orange color and gave the appearance of (what I could only imagine later to be) plasma swirling very slowly inside of a translucent shell. It would vary in brightness and color in perfect timing with the sound that I was hearing. It resembled lava in color and variance of color. Each “light” was so large, you could have easily placed my car (VW wagon) inside of the light, or my car is a comparable size reference. The “lights” also (strangely) did not really illuminate the underbelly in any way I would have expected. They instead gave off a diffusive hue that moved outward from them upwards toward/onto the main body, where I could JUST faintly see it illuminated enough that it was gunmetal grey or black in color, and the hull was seemingly covered in what appeared to be small geometric plates or scales. This haze moved upwards and I perceived it to be the mechanism by which the craft was “flying”. Judging by this sight and the metallic nature of sound it was giving off, I assume it was made of metal. As far as speed, it moved at a snail’s pace. 15 mph MAXIMUM. It moved from coming up the mountainside from my back right to out of my line of sight in about one minute. It never changed altitude as it moved overhead, but from where I was this craft seemed to have come from the valley below and was making its way up the mountain into/over the forest. As it passed overhead, it moved north/northeast into the forest towards the Cuyamaca Rancho State Park or Sawtooth Mountain Wilderness / Anza Borrego State Park. I watched it until it moved out of sight behind the trees. It appeared to be no more than 100 feet above the trees. It was very close. I sat there for a minute to process what had just happened, then proceeded to turn my car on and drive further up Sunrise Hwy all the way to Kwaaymii Point in hopes of seeing it again, but saw nothing else. I drove back to another spot I go to which is even closer to the radar station, and sat there dozing in and out for indeterminate periods until around 5am, at which I found that I was having trouble remembering exactly what the craft looked like, which I found to be extremely odd given this event had just happened. I now classify this as purposefully missing time rather than sleepiness. My mind began to remember 3 lights as 2 lights, so in an effort of preservation I roughly scribbled the shape I had actually seen on an iPhone note. It came out horribly and I could certainly do better now

It was 11pm and I went outside to have a cigarette. Like most evenings, I like to look up at the stars, and that’s when I noticed one moving. I yelled to my wife to grab my phone and get out here, I said you have to see this. It was probably the worst video I have ever taken. But at least I got something on my phone. My wife was just as baffled as I was, watching this bright light move around and then disappear. She had went back inside, and I stayed out for a few more minutes and I saw another appear. This one was a little different instead of being bright white it was a faint reddish color. It also moved towards the same direction as to where the bright light craft disappeared. Rainy night. Saw a burnt orange light flickering through the tree in our back yard. Went outside and this light appeared to be moving very slowly above the city. Burnt orange almost red. It stopped then climbing upward disappeared into clouds. Did this three times.

Watching the stars one evening and observing to the E - N.E. - altitude? Very very high and I did observe a 'blue-ish' light in the nighttime sky. Very peculiar this blue dot behaves. Ascends and ascends to disappearing/vanishing from viewable sight up into the further layers above. I was fairly gobsmacked by this display. There has been discussion of travel back and forth from the moon prior. - fin

I was sitting in a camp chair when I looked into the evening sky and saw a bright white light moving quickly east. It went behind trees, I got up, my girlfriend and I watched the light move quickly down the sky as it later flashed in and out. We were in big cottonwood canyon. As we left the canyon we saw the light above the mountain ridge just sitting stationary. We watched it for a couple minutes. Maybe 2 or 3 minutes but, despised to leave. . It was a little frightening ..

I was riding westbound on 94 from Ruth Street and saw a bright white light in the cloudy sky. Very odd movements haopening, lost sight once I reached downtown Saint Paul where I transferred over to 35E North hoping to catch another glimpse but it was gone.

My husband saw the jet and naturally heard it. My neighbors heard it, too, but didn't see it. Again it was so loud, I didn't know where to go, because I thought it was a passenger jet in trouble. We are under the flight path of planes going towards Newark Airport.

Gold in color, possibly fireball but very small. i believe it to be a spiritual entity. There aren't any other reporting sites to my knowledge, and surely we should document truth and experiences. it behaved like an orb. shot up and disappeared. it came out of another dimension for sure because i seen it with my very own eyes.

Around 3:40am I was standing on my porch and out of the corner of my eye I saw a flash of orange light over the tree line coinciding with the Boise foothills. For a moment I though it was a lighthouse just by how bright it was, obviously that’s impossible, it just gives you an idea of how forcefully bright this light was. It resembled a ball of bright fire in one stationary place. When I finally realized how strange it was and ruled out any other type of craft or car headlights, I kept staring and saw a very bright fire-like object light up after about 10 seconds of staring, it occured in the same place over what would be the Boise foothills. It looked exactly like a flame except that it became very bright then dimmed until it disappeared. Between its appearance and its disappearance during the sighting that I directly saw, I’d say it appeared for probably 3-4 seconds before dimming and completely disappearing. The strange thing is (as if that wasn’t strange! enough) a shooting star occured directly after it burned out. Both flashes were in the exact same spot and the shooting star was significantly higher in the sky. The best way to explain it would be a circular or oblong, controlled orange/yellow/red fire in the sky. Extremely bright.

Was watching for meteors around 2am. Looking straight up, I saw a bright blueish/white light towards the southwest sky that seemed rather far away, possibly even outside the atmosphere. It appeared out of nowhere and traveled in a straight line for about half a second before making an S-pattern and disappearing. It was traveling at high speed similar to that of a meteor. Had it not been for the S-pattern I would have thought it were another meteor.
