Light over Lyndonville, VT

A witness account on file, unevaluated. Most of the archive rests here, and honestly so.

The report, as filed

It was 11pm and I went outside to have a cigarette. Like most evenings, I like to look up at the stars, and that’s when I noticed one moving. I yelled to my wife to grab my phone and get out here, I said you have to see this. It was probably the worst video I have ever taken. But at least I got something on my phone. My wife was just as baffled as I was, watching this bright light move around and then disappear. She had went back inside, and I stayed out for a few more minutes and I saw another appear. This one was a little different instead of being bright white it was a faint reddish color. It also moved towards the same direction as to where the bright light craft disappeared. Funny thing is I was taking a video and could not record the reddish UFO. Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. PD

Held as-reported from National UFO Reporting Center (record NUFORC #148029). Witness text is preserved verbatim, including its spelling; nothing is edited beyond formatting.

Ask for the records

What would the paper say?

For a dated, located U.S. sighting, FAA radar data and ATC communications are the records most likely to exist. Through Aletheca, the house instrument, anyone can commission the request — filed, chased, and published in the open, refusals included. The draft goes over already written: the records sought, and the date window they would live in.
