What looked like a black bowling ball with no marking or lights on it moved quietly, slowly and steadily about high tree top level. It crossed our back yard as it traveled east across the oak tree tops. Our last sighting a month later through those trees was an orange fireball coming from the east around 8pm. Too large to be a plane light. It traveled quietly northward for 30 seconds until it turned into that black ball which then receded eastward again over the trees. Amazing. No photos though. While at the NYS fair on September 1st, I saw a glowing red/ orange glowing light moving across the sky. I pointed it out to my nine year old son who also directed the attention of another woman to the object. She assumed it was a lantern, but I have never seen anything like this before. We were sitting on the bleachers to the right of the youth center, facing towards the Ferris wheel. It was moving fairly quickly and hovered for a few seconds before moving towards 690. (It was traveling in a South East direction).

I remember in 2014, I didn’t have a phone to take a picture of what I saw but I was in the car as a passenger on I-88 towards Cobleskill, NY. Near the mountains by Howe Caverns, in the sky, there was a rectangular giant object, either a dark grey or black color, way bigger than an airplane just hovering in the sky. We were stopped because of traffic and it would not move, and definitely was floating. I tried researching to find if UFO’s were shaped rectangular and couldn’t find anything at the time but just found this article of so many encounters with a rectangular UFO in the sky, in upstate NY around the exact same week I saw it.

Im a taxi driver, while driving on the Bruckner Expressway i noticed a pulsing changing color very bright lights under a cloud in the sky: I had two passengers with me at the moment I got off the next available exit which was bronx river ave and park to the side a shoot the first video that it last aproximately one minute.

Star gazing with new refractor about MN, (note often see satellites passing S. to N. overhead, meteors, airplanes, and I know the difference), naked eye observation of very bright glowing orange object pass in strait line S. to N.. Unusual in that there was a very bright glow or cloud that was large surrounding it, not pin-point as in a satellite or plane but in angular degree probable about the size of my little finger nail or less held at arm stretch. Shape seemed somewhat triangular but cloud like. 45 min later passes over again same speed and direction but brighter. Assume dying orbit of satellite entering upper atmosphere? In 45 years of star gazing never saw anything like it.

My girlfriend and I were driving back to her apartment in Liverpool after my cousins wedding on a friday night. The NY state fair was still going on which I think I saw that someone there saw the same thing as me. I'm very skeptical on whether people actually see UFO's and such. Although that night was different. I saw what at first looked like plane over Onondaga Lake. Although I then realized the "Plane" wasn't moving anywhere. It looked to just hover. This aircraft then started slowly moving away from the lake and towards our direction in the sky. It passed from the left side of the street we were on and ended up going to the right. I turned all of my music off and opened my window and heard nothing at all. If it were an airplane I would have easily heard it. It wasn't as high up as a plane either. As it got closer to my vicinity, It looked like a triangle. There were bright lights lined up on it from the front to the back, unlike planes that have a bright light and then blinking lights on back wings. Being so much closer than an actual plane you would think it would be moving fast. It slowly went across the sky while my girlfriend and I pondered as to what it could be. We questioned everything possible. This wasn't anything I've seen before. I bet it was either a government aircraft that no one knows about, or a UFO, even thought I do not want to admit it. I was out in my backyard, noticing the sky. I looked up at what appeared to be a light or star like light in the sky very high in the sky. It traveled from an eastern direction and moved toward western direction very slowly then stopped once, continued for a little bit then stopped directly above me. After the first long pause, I noticed an aircraft (what appeared to be a plane) traveling toward the same direction as the ufo was going. The plane then veered of adjacent toward the northwestern trajectory. During this point I was lying down on the concrete. The object was shining brightly and stationery at this time. I then noticed the clouds coming in and it became a lot fainter. I decided to come inside and report this. I then called the National UFO Reporting Center. I went back outside and it was gone. That is it.P.S.Just to note I am former military and I am pretty good at distinguishing an aircraft verses something else.

Slow moving object spotted between 12:30 and 1:00 pm in Syracuse sky traveling east, then southwest and hovering. Around 12 :45pm, I unserved ((sic. observed??)) a object moving across the eastern sky traveling at a slow speed. I pointed it out to my friend who saw the same object. another witness who could not see it right away but shortly spotted it also. It traveled about 1to 2 miles and then turned northwest. It traveled about 2 miles and stop and hovered, moved slowly east and then back north. The object stayed in the same area until a small patch of clouds covered it. After the clouds moved on the object was no longer in that spot.

My father, my two brothers and I were leaving my uncles house after visiting a new edition to the family. When we walked outside, I looked into the sky thinking there was a bunch of stars out but the lights I saw were flashing and gliding in a downward motion. They were 3 flashing lights in one area, another on the far left and another in the far right all gliding through the air. The 3 in the middle were making a shape of an upside down triangle and they kept gliding towards the ground until they left our sight .

At approximately 8:30pm last night I was standing in my back yard in Sayville, on Long Island, New York with 3 other witnesses having a conversation. I happened to be facing south with my eyes just starting to drift upward when suddenly I saw a ball of light fall from the sky leaving a trail behind it. The object was blue-ish in color and large as to say it must have been closer than the stars and possibly even in the neighborhood. I stopped what I was doing and said “ woahh did any one just see that, that definitely wasn’t a shooting star, it looked like something just crashed.” It happened that this object fell directly over the Great South Bay. I was very shocked by what I saw because I have been a bit of a star gazer for quite some time and I know what a shooting star looks like. After about 2 more minutes of staring up to see if anything else occurred, I shrugged it off and walked in side to do something. I returned to the back yard approximately 6 to 7 minutes after the sighting, my uncle had been still gazing in that direction in curiosity, when about 30 seconds after I returned he said, “There is something else over there.” I looked and I saw a flash of light skip twice on the sky in the area where the other object had crashed or fallen, I was even skeptical at first and said, “No, that can’t be related. It’s probably fireworks, or something, searching for some explanation,” when all of a sudden, the object seemed to have finished what it was doing in that area and began to make abrupt evasive seeming maneuvers across the sky. However, it wasn’t just one long flash of light, the best way I can describe it is it was like a rock skipping on water, using some kind of propulsion mechanism which must have been the light that we saw each time it appeared, and with each burst of light the object was propelled tens of miles (from my earthly perspective, and it may have been much longer given the distance that it was into the night sky) In approximately one second at a time, beginning its r! etreat f rom the scene of the first object by making an abrupt left turn then headed north and the light appeared about 5 or 6 more times before vanishing into the sky about 60 miles or so in about 7 or 8 seconds, or you might say the light appeared once every second of its journey from point A to point B where it disappeared. I live close to MacArthur Airport, and I see planes all day every day, and every kind of plane there is, I also worked at a Skydiving facility with seasoned pilots and worked around planes so I have a good sense of what we are capable of in aviation, so a few things I know is that this was not a plane or any known human aircraft, there were multiple commercial airliners in the vicinity to compare it to and this was traveling many times their speed. This was also too close to the airport for this not to have been picked up on by radar, something crashed or fell into the Great South Bay, and something seemed to have gone to recover it and then tried to escape without being seen, or is it possible that this was the same object recovering from its crash landing and the reason I say that is because it looked as if when the craft was traveling away from the scene it was using some kind of propulsion system thus creating the light that we saw each time it moved another handful of miles across the sky, but it’s obvious that whatever energy or propulsion system that it was using is not one that is known to the public, because one thrust sent it very far, also being that it was not just one constant light, it felt as if possibly the craft was struggling to escape, however on its final thrust it just vanished into the sky. The observers consisted of two women in their 50’s and a man in his 50’s as well as me a 25 year old. The other male observer and I have knowledge of technology, assumed ufos, and the night sky. I have observed the sky for many years, I have witnessed many meteor showers, including a shooting star that night, we also saw a satellite pass later that night, and the sky was very clear and cloudless, stars were extremely visible, meaning we had many known objects to compare it to. I live in an area which is close to Fire Island, which is an area that is well populated with tourists and parties and these objects had to be visible and most likely seen by other people there. I will add that last week I also witnessed similar lights but much higher in the sky coming from the exact direction that this object disappeared into. I can not say if it is related but it was very similar although this incident was much more intense and much closer. Thank you.

The first thing i noticed was a perfict shaped cloud eluminated, than it faded away. Then just to the left of that a disk appeared, it was purple, with some shades of orange and slight yellow on the left side. After about 12 seconds, it disappeared, leaving a round shaped cloud where it was that faded away. Seconds later much further up in the sky i saw two, what apeard to be shooting stars with tails go in the south east direction away from the rising sun. As I went for a short walk at dusk, I saw an orangish redish fireball move from one side of the sky to the other, in a straight line, not too high and lower than an airplane. It started out dim and flickering a little, and then grew brighter and brighter as I stared at it, until it was a bright fireball. I thought it might be a floating paper lantern, but the light got too bright, and perfectly round, and it was moving too fast and too straight. There were no sounds. As soon as I realized what it was, I ran back to the apartment to get my boyfriend and his daughter. Since he had already seen one with me before, only his daughter came out with me. She saw it with me in the other side of the sky, through the trees, where it had been heading, and now a little lighter orange and flickering a bit again. And then it disappeared. I ran up ahead to see if it continued on towards the horizon, but it was totally gone, just like our first sighting a few weeks ago in Cassidaga, NY, on or about July 27th (unreported).

On that August night of 2014, my girlfriend and I were crossing the Washington Bridge (not the Geo. Washington Bridge ), rather, the one that you cross to get from the Bronx to Manhattan. While crossing to Manhattan, we noticed a large black triangular object floating towards downtown Manhattan. The craft didn't have any lights nor it made a sound. I felt terrified for a second. Then it just faded away into the darkness.

Two reddish orange glowing balls of light flying next to each other hardly moving. I thought they were small airplanes at first, then maybe a couple uav/ drones. But there was no body of an air craft. Then I thought maybe Chineese lanterns, but ice seen them before and these were not them. They flikered red and orange. A really vibrant red and a bright glowing orange color. I was driving so it was hard to really stare and there was no where to pull over. When i finally did, i couldnt find them. I have clear video of these objects, however the colors don't show. I don't mind being contacted.

Son was playing with neighbor's kids in the backyard, when they all observed two large oblong fuzzy shapes that appeared to be glowing yellow-orange from within. Tilted at about a 20-degree angle, the two objects flew slowly and silently in formation from north to south. Son and friends observed objects for a few seconds, but when my son ran around behind a tree to take a picture, objects had disappeared.

I am reporting this for a friend, his words: About 10:15, i let the dogs out in the backyard. I immediately noticed a bright light in the west about 20 degrees up. It was flickering, i knew it wasn't a star. I got the binoculars and saw it had flashing lights, red, white and an occasional blue or green. A few times a bright beam of pinkish light shot out to the side. The light stayed in one spot except that it occasionally moved a hair sideways and back, or in a small circle. I couldn't get the binoculars to focus sharply on it, although I can focus on the craters of the moon or a jet at 35,000 feet. After a while watching I sort of decided that it was in a triangular shape and was rotating. I walked down the street to get a better look. At the top of the beach i noticed another light, same deal, out over the lake. This was not like any of the lights I've seen out there. When I had a clear view of the sky I saw that there was another one low in the northwest, like over toward Toronto. About 11:15 all three were suddenly gone. They didn't move away, they went out. I came in the house and was heading into bed when there were five bright flashes in the southern sky, like a flash going off. There was never any noise from any of this. The flash was bright enough to throw shadows of the trees into the room. In the middle of the night, around 2:30, wife said "I can't sleep...aliens".

Object appeared the same as witnessed two nights ago in night sky, only tonight it was southwest of Plattsburgh, NY, (two nights ago it was northwest): flashing red light similar to aircraft navigation lights but object did not move and emitted no audible sound at this distance. Observed object in same position for over 20 minutes and object did not appear to move.

Standing in my yard talking to my neighbor, we tend to look up. We saw a lit up craft traveling northeast at a fast velocity. Then, by my fence, facing south above a large tree on the corner of my eye as my neighbor is looking south east, a huge bright white/blueish flash went off above the tree and a ray if light same color as described, pretty wide ray of light traveled south right after the flash, my neighbor looks south west and sees a craft darting off west. It shook me to the core, it was low, bright flash that lit up the sky, like a flash from a camera. I had goose bumps and got a little scared, it was intense.
