I was trying to get my car up my driveway (hill) that was stuck near the road (major snowstorm). While I was taking a break from shovelling/snow-blowing, I noticed a bright orange light in the sky moving east/southeast almost directly toward me. It then changed its direction slightly (change of direction was just before it passed me) by moving due east. I watched it until I could no longer see it as it got behind some trees, etc. I did notice it would change to a reddish tint a few times, but was a very bright orange the majority of time. It was very illuminated. I consider it was a solid circle/oval object (fully illuminated circle). I specifically looked for blinking lights or lights that would appear from an airplane, but none were there. I was quite surprised by the solid brightness of the object throughout the duration. As I focused while it passed me; the light appeared as a star image. The object made noise as if it was an airplane, but it certainly w! as not an airplane using normal lighting sequences. I’ve watched plenty of airplanes and the way it was moving just didn’t seem to match the way an airplane moves (I’d be shocked if it were an airplane). The altitude was approximately around or below 8,000 feet (this could be a very inaccurate judgment). However, I just recall it seeming to be very close/low in the sky. I'm always looking up at the sky when I have a chance, and this isn't the first time I've seen something. It was not a lantern because the altitude did not change while it moved by me. This light was extremely big in comparison to a star. I'll have to include more information in another report about another recent strange sighting. This area must have plenty of activity.

Noticed what looked like a meteorite in the North end of the sky at night. Was just a light blue illuminated dot. Took 3-4 seconds to fly all the way across the sky. Appeared to be really high up, and travelling incredibly fast, and moved at an arch (not a straight line). At second thought, it looked like a crashing plane. Once it got to the South sky, it came to an immediate stop. At that point, it looked like one of the many stars visible in the sky. Kept watching it for another minute or so, and it did nothing - just looked like any other star. Tried to keep an eye on it as I walked home (I was out walking my dog). Once it became obscured by a tree, I couldn't recall which one it was when I tried to find it again. In the 3-4 seconds that it was flying across the sky, my thoughts were "Oh cool, a meteorite... No, that is a really low flying plane... No, it is really high... Wait, is it crashing? Wow, that is really moving... IT STOPPED!!!!"

Last night at approximately 23:30 EST I was outside looking directly above and noticed in the very high altitude night sky what looked like strange lights moving in an erratic manner. There appeared to be an aura or haze around the object(s) but it was very faint. There was one bright light (looked like a star) that at times grew so dim it couldn't be seen at all, then seconds later was bright again. There were several other lights coming out of the primary one and moving around it very erratically, almost playfully. They would move slow, then fast, then fade out and return. There was no pattern to this at all. Sometimes there were as many as 7 or 8 of these lights moving around the primary light. At one point, one of the lights shot off incredibly fast to the north-east, it reminded me of a shooting star. It lasted for over an hour and I could no longer see any lights in the area where I viewed them before. Somewhere around 00:30-01:00 was when they disappe! ared. I tried to take a picture/video but they were not bright enough to capture and all that appeared was blackness. I'm curious to know if this was an atmospheric anomaly or if I was genuinely seeing something that may be extra-terrestrial. I'm a bit of a skeptic and like to rationalize things but this was hard to explain.

On November 15, 2015, at approximately 13:00 hours, I observed what appeared to be a point of fairly bright light in the southern sky. This point of light was several degrees south of zenith, and slightly east. Weather conditions at the time were clear, sunny, and fairly warm. The light was similar in brightness to Saturn. I observed the light with the naked eye for approximately three minutes. The light did not move, flicker, dim, or increase in brightness. I went indoors and obtained a pair of binoculars. Upon returning outside, I used my binoculars to look at the object. It resolved in the field of view of my binoculars as a disc shaped object. The object was not moving, nor were there any lights or other activity around the object. It appeared to be chrome or light grey in color and at a fairly high altitude. The material was very reflective. I observed the object for about five minutes. Unable to determine what the object was, I then went back indoors and brought out my Orion 4.5’ Equatorial Reflector Telescope with a 25mm optic. I found the object in my telescope and was able to notice greater detail about the object. It was circular, and appeared to have thick, ribbed sides, similar to a Jello mold in appearance. In the center of the object was a small nodule, also circular, that could best be described as the top of a bell. There did not appear to be any tethering equipment attached to this object, nor any lights, windows, doors, or instrumentation attached, nor any motion from the object. It remained stationary the entire time I observed it, which was about twenty-five minutes. The object also appeared to be very stable and did not appear to be moving as a result of any winds that may be at the altitude the object was at. After resuming my outdoor activities, I came back to look for the object just before 15:00 hours. The object was gone. I could not locate it anywhere else in the sky using my naked eye or my binoculars. I searched online for anything similar and located an object with uncanny resemblance spotted in New Zealand in 2014. The link to the object for comparison is: http://tinyurl.com/pk9lpun

As I was leaving home for work, I walked out the side door facing south. It was a very clear night, and I often stop to observe the stars. Then right above the tree line, I saw this object, which consisted of multiple lights in a V-shape. It was silent, but moving very swiftly from west to east. My mind was racing, right away trying to reason it out . . . It's not a plane nor is it mutiple planes flying in unison . . . The lights were an orange-ish hue, steady and fairly dim, not blinking or flashing. I am certain it was a single object. What struck me was the high rate of speed yet there was absolute silence. It caught my eye because it didn't look like anything I've seen before and didn't look like a plane. It was reflective like a mirror without any flickering. I watched it for around 30 seconds and then reached for my phone to take a picture. While I was firing up the camera, I watched the object fade like someone used a dimmer switch to "turn it off" and it was gone from site. There was nowhere for it to go, no clouds. But it was gone by the time my camera was ready.

I noticed 3 lights in a triangle formation facing southwest. It appeared to be hovering over Detroit and I'm approximately 15 minutes North. I noticed one of the three would fade out and the. Move slowly, sideways until the light would din out. I saw the second object do the same by one big light seemed to remain. Afterward I noticed many unusual aircrafts around all night. I was able to capture a short video .

JUST SAW A UFO SPEEDING THROUGH THE SKY HEADING IN A SOUTH EAST DIRECTION .IT WAS APPROXIMATELY 8:42 A.M SUNDAY AS I SAT OUTSIDE ENJOYING THE FRESH AIR . IT WAS TUBULAR WITHOUT WINGS AND TOTALLY SILENT. IT APPEARED OVER THE TREE TOPS AND WAS A BRIGHT SILVER IN APPEARANCE. IT THE SPEED WAS PRETTY INCREDIBLE AS IT MOVED AND DISAPPEARED AFTER MAYBE 4 SECONDS OR SO. IT WAS DEFINITELY NOT A PLANE, BLIMP,SHOOTING STAR , OR BALLOON .IS THERE ANYONE IN CANTON , MICHIGAN OR IN THE AREA WHO MAY HAVE SEEN THIS AS WELL?

Object moved from west to east directly overhead. Lots (15-20) of small white lights connected by a structure that was less visible. Seemed low, moved quickly, linear to vowed in shape. Moved consistently, which is what caught our attention, And lights were evenly spaced and of consistent intensity,

At 19:35 this evening, I was standing in my front yard looking up at the few clouds that remain, after a mostly cloudy day. I commented to my wife, who was seated on the porch, that the skies had cleared up nicely when I noticed an object in the night sky which was moving at a good pace and blocking out stars as it moved from the northwest to the southeast. The object appeared as a dull grey mass against the night sky, and is of indeterminate shape due to the lack of light. I would estimate the size of the object to be roughly the equivalent of holding a dime at arm's length, possibly smaller. There were no lights visible on the object. The only reason that I even saw it was because stars were being blocked out as it traveled. There was no sound at all, and it was almost directly overhead, as opposed to being off at an angle to me. I commented on it to my wife, but, she was not able to see it, as there is a streetlight directly across from our house, and she! was facing into the light, while I had my back to it. Upon turning around to track its course, I, too, lost it in the light pollution from the streetlight and neighboring houses whose porch lights are on. I would estimate that the total time that I saw it is around ten seconds, before turning and losing sight of it due to the lights at ground level. Not being able to estimate its altitude, it would be impossible to estimate its speed, however, it was moving along at a pretty good clip. We live within a couple of miles of Lake Michigan, and it is not uncommon for people to share stories of seeing strange things in the night sky in the area. We live within a few miles of the airport, so it would be interesting to hear if anything unusual showed up on radar at the same time.

A friend of mine posted seeing weird lights in the sky near my house not even .5 miles away. Sure enough, I go outside to go to work and they were still there. It was HUNDREDS of small lights changing for and dimming in and out. Small individual lights would shoot off of it and then zoom back! It was crazy.

My husband and I went out to watch the meteor shower and were laying in our lounge chairs watching the night sky. We are used to seeing many comercial airplanes fly overhead and have also watched the ISS many times. From the south we noticed a low bright orange light coming toward us. My husband said that must be the ISS and I said that it seemed too low and too bright. Suddenly we noticed a second orange light following the first. They moved overhead in a straight line with no sound. The light was not blinking and moved quickly through the sky. I estimate that we watched it move north for about 20-30 seconds, until we could no longer see it.

It was 3:35 am on 11-4-2015 - I walked outside to let my dogs out. Looking East, I’ve noticed that lately I can see Jupiter, Mars & Venus to left of the moon in an “L” shape. I didn’t see the planets this night, they would have been above my house and out of sight at the time I was outside (I can usually see them about 5:30 – 6:00 am). I saw 3 bright white round lights in the shape of a triangle, but larger than a normal star all the same size and brightness... There was no solidity to it, just the 3 lights formed into a perfect triangle, no noise. I usually stand inside waiting for the dogs but this time I walked outside to get a better look, rubbed my eyes, thinking that I just woke up, or that I was seeing stars in a constellation that I didn’t recognize, etc… I stared at the lights for about 10 seconds, then the 2 lower lights of the triangle came around each side to form a straight line with the middle light and they slowly started moving East and up getting farther and farther away but maintaining equal distance between each other, until I could no longer see them, for about another 20 seconds. I watched them just disappear… almost like you’d see a satellite in the sky, but these 3 stayed together. I tried to “de-bunk” what I saw by looking at the placement of the planets and stars at this particular time that night and there was nothing that would have been in my view at that particular time that would have formed this triangle, let alone the movement. The feeling I had was something other than looking at the stars too, I knew immediately that it wasn’t something ordinary, that it wasn’t a plane or 3 satellites… It was cold outside and I had no slippers or socks on and was in my pajamas, I never go outside while waiting for my dogs to come in, not even in the summer, I wouldn’t have walked outside if I didn’t think this was something worthwhile to look at…

One bright light, intensity about 3 times brighter than brightest planet on most nights, appeared in the southern sky just as the stars were coming out. Light did not move, but glowed bright white, intensified, then as it began to fade, or dim, it zoomed off in an upward and southeastern direction, fading to nothing as it got further on it's trajectory. Similar to one I spotted winter 2014-15 in same area.

Two large, round bright white lights in the sky above Detroit. Looked hazy around the lights which give me the impression that it was in clouds. I didn't give the lights much notice at first but when I realized they didn't move or fade away it caught my attention. I began watching them while driving east on I-96. After I noticed them they disappeared about 30 seconds later. ' They also had some very small lights around these two giant round lights. Witness provides little contact information. PD

At 12:36 am EDT I looked out my front door and there looks like a large light above my neighbor's house, height: just above the tree line. It looks like a white saucer shape but changes to round shape when smaller white balls of light emerge from it. They stay close and then return back into the light. The light turns on and off. Sometimes it seems to turn pink for a second. It is still there and I have videos. So far it's been there for two and a half hours and is still going. Sometimes it seems to move left and right. It is still there now.

It was very bright!! Like fire orange bright, and it had 3 lights all orange in color on the bottom. I have no clue what it was and I have not been able to find anything online to explain it. We quickly turned around in a driveway and tried to chase it, but in the short time it took us to turn around we couldn't find it. We went all back down the road to 131 expressway with no luck... Lots of jets in the sky because it was a clear night. But this clearly was WAY to low to be a jet, was not a jet because of the light and man I'm just dumbfounded. Wondering if others have seen the same thing. It was just so so bright…

I was woke up at 4:47 am by an extremely loud jet plane sound right above my house, it rattled the windows, made the ceiling fan shake violently, as I jumped out of bed, the floor felt as if an earthquake was occurring. The backyard looked lite up as if it were noon, the way the jet sounded & felt, I was certain that I was going to run out to see a plane crash into my neighborhood, however by the time I got to the dining room and looked out the slider to the backyard, it was pitch black outside and no signs of a jet or any aircraft, everything seemed peaceful and "normal", then I ran to the front of the house and saw 2 circular lights in the eastern sky, they were side by side, one small and dim, the other was absolutely huge and extremely bright, neither one was moving or twinkling. They just hung in the sky, in the same spot for 20 minutes, then both of them simply disappeared at the same second, without ever moving, just disappeared! I grabbed my husbands cell phone and took a couple pictures and short video, which unfortunately neither do justice to the very large size of the one!!

two bright lights in the sky and I tried to take two separate videos of them and neither one would come through. Both videos just showed a completely white screen and when I closed out of my camera to try to go into my actual photos to see them, they weren't even recorded. I physically SAW the timer on the video counting both times I tried to take it and both videos just disappeared and now the lights are gone. They were BRIGHT BRIGHT lights too. Not like a star at all. Like visible floating lights that almost looked like two moons (they were that bright) but now they're gone and my videos of them vanished as well. I've never seen a video go completely white before on the playback. Especially when I was clearly watching the screen to make sure I was getting it on camera and then to go back and have it erased without explanation? I don't get it...

A sudden bright light rayed through my window. My brother and I both noticed it. It was slightly larger than the moon, but glowed more violently. Very slowly, it moved across the sky for a brief four seconds, then zoomed to the right very quickly. I was expecting it to appear after ducking behind the trees in my backyard, but didn't. It was like it suddenly vanished! I'm now hearing some rather strange sounds, like a vibration of a nearby train. I checked but didn't hear any train horns or rumbling tracks. A slight hum can be heard, too.. I hope this is helpful.
