The report, as filed
Saw a light moving in an Easterly direction (towards town). Light was moving very fast (faster than an airliner) and had no position (navigation) lights to indicate it was a civilian aircraft. Just a solid yellow light. The craft stopped suddenly, started increasing in altitude (slowly), stopped, then made a lateral movement to the south (slowly), stopped, then the light went out. There was enough daylight and we were able to obtain binoculars to make out the shape of the object. After the light of the craft went out, the craft started a tumbling/twisting motion while descending directly towards the earth. We suppose it took 2 minutes for the craft to descend until it was out of view.

we went on an excursion with NCL to the Raptor Center, Sitka National Historical Park and Fortress of the Bears and somewhere in between them the photo I took is where it was. I never saw it with the naked eye it was not until I started working on my photos that I saw this on a photo. I have 2 photos taken 1 min. apart and it only shows up in one photo. It had to have moved fast because of the time difference between each photo. The photo with the ufo is 20231022_163701 [NUFORC annotation: Bird - Probable]

Just then my 4 year old son who was sitting at the kitchen table, looking out the window, went crazy and said he saw a ufo disk shape, with a bubble in the middle, and an antenna in top of it with lights. He said it was spinning and flying fast over the trees about 25 yards away. Although my son is only 4 years old, we don't believe he was making this up. He was to excited about it. Bright white light with some blue and possibly red. Traveled left to right in the night sky in an up and down zig zag type movement.
