Le 29 novembre 2024, entre 20h30 et 21h00, un témoin et son amie observent depuis leur domicile deux formes rectangulaires lumineuses et alignées, séparées par un intervalle. En se déplaçant pour obtenir un dégagement visuel complet, le témoin constate l'extinction soudaine du phénomène. L'observation, menée sous un ciel totalement dégagé et dans un silence absolu, dure une dizaine de secondes à une altitude estimée relativement basse. Quelques jours plus tard, le 3 décembre 2024 à 19h38, le témoin assiste seul depuis le même emplacement à un événement similaire qu'il parvient à photographier avec son smartphone. D'étrangeté et de consistance moyennes, ce cas présente une étrangeté résiduelle marquée, renforcée par le lien établi par le témoin entre les deux apparitions. Il subsiste pourtant des interrogations qui, d'un côté, proviennent de l'expertise photographique du cliché confirmé « original authentique » de l'observation du 3 décembre 2024 par notre système d'authentification d'image, et d'un autre coté des déclarations reportées sur le QT pour la première observation du 29 novembre 2024, qui ont été validées par l'enquête à distance et de terrain diligentée par le GEIPAN. En conséquence le GEIPAN classe ce cas « C », phénomène non identifié par défaut d'informations objectivées. *CONSISTANCE : selon les critères du GEIPAN, la consistance est la quantité d'informations considérées comme fiables et objectivées, recueillies pour un témoignage. Le 9 septembre 2024, vers 23h00, un témoin (T1) se tient sur le perron de son domicile à Ambres (81) lorsqu'il aperçoit dans le ciel, en direction du nord-est, un point lumineux intense émettant un faisceau de lumière blanche. Le PAN se déplace en ligne droite dans sa direction, évoquant dans un premier temps le comportement d'un aéronef classique. À mesure que le PAN se rapproche, T1 distingue, de part et d'autre du faisceau principal, une lumière rouge et une lumière bleue, ainsi qu'un éclairage blanc à l'arrière, positionné de manière à rappeler celui situé sur l'aileron vertical d'un appareil. Alors que le PAN survole sa position, T1 observe un rectangle lumineux blanc au sein duquel clignotent plusieurs lumières de différentes couleurs.Déterminé à prolonger l'observation, le témoin change de position. Il perçoit alors un bruit de moteur caractérisé par une vibration douce et continue. Le PAN poursuit sa trajectoire à vitesse constante jusqu'à ce qu'il disparaisse à l'horizon. Le conjoint du témoin (T2) sort à son tour pour observer le PAN, mais celui-ci est déjà à une distance trop importante pour permettre une observation détaillée. La consistance* du cas est faible : bien qu'il y ait 2 témoins, seul T1 a souhaité témoigner et aucune photo du PAN n'a été prise. L'unique témoignage comporte une erreur de datation et une imprécision au niveau de l'heure et de la durée de l'observation (voir le compte rendu d'enquête). *selon les critères du GEIPAN, la consistance est la quantité d'informations considérées comme fiables et objectivées, recueillies pour un témoignage. L'enquête conclut que les témoins ont observé un aéronef de type avion de ligne en phase d'approche vers l'aéroport de Toulouse, sur la base des éléments suivants : - Lumières de couleurs aéronautiques réglementaires : rouge, blanc et vert (T1 évoque du bleu, mais cette couleur est parfois confondue avec le vert), situées aux emplacements habituels pour les avions. - La puissante lumière blanche initiale en faisceau correspond vraisemblablement aux phares d'atterrissage. - La durée d'observation de 30 à 40 secondes est cohérente avec l'observation d'un avion traversant le ciel du témoin à une vitesse et une altitude habituelles pour une phase d'atterrissage. - La consultation des données de navigation aérienne confirme la présence d'un aéronef correspondant au vol Lufthansa DLH23U, en phase d'approche vers l'aéroport de Toulouse. Sa trajectoire est parfaitement compatible avec celle décrite pour le PAN. L'appareil survole le secteur du témoin T1 à 23h16, soit une minute après l'heure de fin d'observation mentionnée dans le questionnaire de témoignage, cette dernière étant par ailleurs indiquée de manière approximative. - Le bruit perçu par T1, un « son soufflé d'un moteur doux », est compatible avec celui d'un avion évoluant à environ 2000 m d'altitude. - Le témoignage de T1 comporte de nombreuses références explicites à un aéronef, suggérant que l'observation ne présente un caractère inhabituel qu'à un moment précis, lorsque le PAN survole sa position à très basse altitude. À cet instant, T1 décrit une zone lumineuse intense - comparée à une 'piscine de lumière' - contenant des clignotements de teintes rose, violette, verte et orange, située à la verticale du témoin, à l'emplacement du faisceau initialement perçu comme un 'phare'. Il est probable que cette description corresponde à l'observation de la structure supportant les phares d'atterrissage, possiblement située sur le train avant, voire à une portion de la carlingue partiellement masquée par l'intensité de l'éclairage. L'aéronef identifié évoluait à une altitude d'environ 2 000 mètres lors de son passage à la verticale de T1, ce qui limite considérablement la capacité d'identification visuelle fine des éléments structuraux. La présence perçue de lumières clignotantes de différentes couleurs dans cette zone demeure difficile à interpréter de manière certaine. Toutefois, une hypothèse plausible est celle d'un effet optique lié à l'éclairage puissant des phares, produisant des réflexions colorées sur des particules en suspension dans l'atmosphère. Le témoin rapporte avoir observé, depuis son lieu de travail, le lundi 26 août 2024 à 11h40, un objet noir en position stationnaire et en rotation régulière pendant environ 5 minutes. Le phénomène réfléchit les rayons du Soleil, créant des éclats intermittents, avant de disparaître de la vue du témoin. La consistance* du cas est moyenne avec deux témoins mais un seul témoignage et l'absence de photo ou de vidéo. *Selon les critères du GEIPAN, la consistance est la quantité d'informations considérées comme fiables et objectivées, recueillies pour un témoignage. Les deux hypothèses étudiées sont celles d'un ballon en mylar gonflé à l'hélium et celle d'un drone (voir le compte rendu d'enquête). Cependant, l'hypothèse du ballon en mylar reçoit un plus grand nombre d'arguments en sa faveur. En effet, la rotation sur lui-même, la hauteur élevée, la réflexion de la lumière du soleil ainsi que le déplacement final dans le sens du vent qui amène le phénomène à disparaitre sont autant d'éléments qui privilégient cette hypothèse. Ce 17 août 2024, le témoin (T1) et sa compagne, habitant sur la commune de Novalaise (73), sont couchés depuis peu, dans l'obscurité (seule la télévision était allumée), lorsqu'ils observent vers 23h10, à travers la fenêtre, un PAN dans le ciel. Le ciel est couvert avec une légère pluie. T1 décrit ce PAN comme étant silencieux et constitué d'un « disque lumineux se séparant en plusieurs rectangles » qui balaient le ciel de manière régulière et répétitive. Sa vitesse de déplacement était importante, et sa couleur blanche, d'une luminosité supérieure à celle de la Lune. Après 2 à 3 minutes d'observation et un déplacement vers l'ouest, le PAN a disparu. Son élévation a été estimée par T1 à 45/50° et la distance angulaire parcourue à environ 40 à 50° du ciel. La consistance* de ce dossier est bonne : bien qu'un seul des deux témoins ait complété un questionnaire GEIPAN, une vidéo du PAN a été fournie et a pu être exploitée pour l'analyse du dossier (voir le compte rendu d'enquête). CONSISTANCE *Selon les critères du GEIPAN, la consistance est la quantité d'informations considérées comme fiables et objectivées, recueillies pour un témoignage. L'hypothèse de l'observation d'un sky-tracer (projecteur ou laser dirigé vers le ciel) s'est avérée être probable pour les raisons suivantes : - Forme globale ronde, commune. Au visionnage de la vidéo, les formes individuelles apparaissent plutôt rondes malgré la description par T1 (peut être gêné par la perspective) de « formes rectangulaires ». - Couleur blanche, habituelle. - Absence de bruit. - Mouvements répétitifs et réguliers, tout à fait typique d'un tel dispositif qui balaye automatiquement le ciel. - Variation de vitesse du balayage, parfois très rapide, également typique d'un sky-tracer. - Observation un samedi soir en été, période propice à l'utilisation de sky-tracers dans un cadre festif. Le travail d'enquête n'a pas permis identifier l'utilisateur de ce dispositif, qui pourrait aussi bien être un particulier, qu'un centre commercial plus éloigné. Notons que T1 a bien envisagé cette hypothèse, en la réfutant en raison de l'absence de faisceau visible. Effectivement, en raison de la présence de pluie, on pourrait s'attendre à ce qu'un faisceau soit visible mais l'élévation du PAN a probablement été surestimée par T1 : il se trouve assez bas, en limite d'éléments du paysage (arbres...) ayant pu masquer le faisceau. D'autres éléments peuvent participer à l'absence de faisceau, comme l'éloignement et la puissance lumineuse de la source sky-tracer qui demeurent inconnus. Le 4 août 2024 vers 23h, depuis la terrasse de leur domicile situé à Morey (Saône-et-Loire, 71), les témoins observent dans le ciel un phénomène aérospatial non identifié (PAN) décrit comme « une énorme barre lumineuse composée d'ampoules blanches ». Ce PAN se déplace silencieusement selon une trajectoire incurvée, du nord-ouest vers le nord-est, à une élévation d'environ 45°, en traversant la constellation de la Grande Ourse. Les témoins estiment sa longueur apparente à 30-40 cm, mesurée à bout de bras à l'aide d'une règle graduée. Le phénomène disparaît après 1 à 1 minute 30 d'observation. Bien que les témoins aient tenté d'enregistrer une vidéo confirmant l'heure d'observation, celle-ci n'a pu être exploitée pour l'analyse. La consistance* du cas est bonne, avec deux témoignages concordants transmis au GEIPAN et une vidéo partiellement exploitable (voir compte rendu d'enquête)." *Selon les critères du GEIPAN, la consistance est la quantité d'informations considérées comme fiables et objectivées, recueillies pour un témoignage. L'enquête confirme que les témoins ont observé le passage des satellites Starlink® du lancement « Starlink group 11.1 » opéré par SpaceX le 4 août à 07h32 UTC. Les 23 satellites, alignés en formation linéaire (appelée « train de satellites »), étaient visibles peu après leur éjection de la coiffe du lanceur, avant leur dispersion dans l'orbite cible. Cette visibilité s'explique par l'éclairage solaire, alors que le Soleil était couché pour l'observateur. Cette conclusion s'appuie sur les éléments suivants : - Apparence très cohérente avec celle d'un chapelet constituant le train, quelques heures après son lancement : forme ponctuelle des éléments éclairés par le Soleil, alignement de l'ensemble, couleur blanche et forte luminosité. - Lancement avéré le matin même de l'observation d'un tel train depuis la base de Vandenberg aux USA. - Trajectoire incurvée suivant la rotondité de la Terre et cohérente avec celle du train de satellites. - Azimut initial (nord-ouest) cohérent avec celui du train de satellites, avec un passage par la constellation de la Grande Ourse. - Azimut final au nord-est cohérent avec celui du train de satellites. - Disparition par entrée du train dans le cône d'ombre de la Terre. Ce passage a d'ailleurs pu être photographié et filmé par d'autres personnes en France et en Suisse, confirmant que les satellites sont passés par la constellation de la Grande Ourse. Le terme "imagé" fait ici référence à la capture visuelle (photographies ou vidéos) du phénomène. L'étrangeté de l'observation est réduite lorsqu'on la confronte au passage avéré des satellites Starlink® du groupe 11.1.". On the evening of Thursday, December 7, 2023 at approximately 7:20 PM, I noticed some objects that appeared to be moving and then they disappeared. My son used the Iphone technology to enlarge one shape and you can clearly see a Triangle of coordinated light. I did not hear anything and whatever it was has been posted to NextDoor in Northern Virginia and DC and 10,900 people have not been able to figure it out. [NUFORC annotation: Searchlight - Certain]

Three of us saw a very bright robin egg blue rectangle appear, above the trees, about 30' high, above us, and then shoots off toward the West. No noise. It was seen for about 3 seconds. The light did not seem to illuminate anything.

I was driving and saw bright lights that appeared to hover over the side of the freeway. I was on the phone with my dad and hung up because I wanted to film it. It seemed like a low plane at first but quickly I realized I was approaching it, and it wasn’t moving. It was crazy. When I passed it going 40 mph in a 70 I saw the side of it. It was not flat like a drone but more ball shaped? Maybe rectangle? But not flat. It had volume. And it was very large? Truck sized at least. And silent. I pulled over and started filming again and it just started moving away from me opposite direction, along highway. I tried to zoom in on it but it’s very hard to tell in video. It seemed to have two big circles on the back of it, inside where the light was coming from. And that’s the direction it moved. Like big jet engines on the back is what it made me think of. I was driving with my wife and noticed this unusual object moving quickly over the tree line of the forest preserve.Watching it reminded me of a flat bed truck traveling down the highway at too fast a speed. Since the quality of the light was so unusual and I do not draw well, the image I attached is more of a schematic.The single arrow in front of the craft shows the forward movement. The very back was not illuminated; I represented this by shading that area. The side I could see best had enough light to show a sharp edge, but I had no sense of how tall the side was ...except that it was very close to the trees. I believe I saw two rows of four dim blue/violet lights that nicely light almost all of the platform surface. There was a second, less defined, yet radiating, light source coming from the front in a hue somewhere between a warm white LED bulb and yellow represented by the three grouped arrows. It was a bit brighter in both color and intensity and intermingled with the other color to some extent. For the question about the size of the object, it was really more like the size of two pennies at something like a two to one ratio. Even though the sighting was very brief, it made a strong impression. And even though it made a strong impression, I would not have made this report if I didn't have another event two days later. My notes are from two days after this experience.

Last night, I had a wtf moment, still not sure what to make of it. I have never seen anything I could not identify before. I've been outside day and night my whole life, never seen anything strange. On my way home from Portland around 630pm or so, I was about halfway home and south of Windham a few miles, on a dark two lane road through rolling small hills, no shoulder, forest on each side with sometimes trees hanging over the road. In a break of the trees, out my front windshield at about my 1 o'clock and above the tree tops, I saw a vertical object just floating in the sky (it was not moving) about 1k ft in the air, maybe a little lower. It was hard to tell how far away it was from me but probably less than 1/4 mile. Because it was hard to tell how far away it was it’s hard to tell how big it was but im guessing it was between the size of a Chevy Suburban and a city bus, maybe bigger if it was standing on its end. It was backlit at the top like there was a light behind it and then facing me were 3 lights in a vertical row and I believe they dimmed and brightened in sequence. Because of the light behind it I could see the outline of it so i could tell it was an elongated rectangle. It happened fast, I couldn’t stop and take a photo, by the time it registered in my mind I was under the tree canopy again and a hundred feet or so down the road and I also thought I may see it again but there were too many trees. There are no radio towers out here and it def wasn’t a balloon, a plane, a helicopter or a drone.

Around 9 PM yesterday evening I saw a somewhat low-flying aircraft that was a rectangle shape and had green lights on the underside in the shape of a half oval at each end of the rectangle speed across the sky above me. It was loud and I could hear it coming towards me. It sounded almost like a tornado and I heard it in both the sky and the trees. I went inside and around 9:20 I heard a loud aircraft and felt my house shake, so there may be another one flying around, or the same one.

Between 5:35pm and 5:38pm on 11/08/2023, I noticed an airplane flying across the sky. It was to the Northeast of me and was flying South-Southwest across the sky. It appeared to be a commercial Southwest brand airplane. I then noticed a smaller object in the sky that was maybe the size and shape of a matchbox held far away. It was glowing white in color, with a slight bright yellow hue to it. As the plane appeared to be flying Southwest, the object appeared to be flying towards the plane from the Northwest in a Southeastern direction, and appeared to almost intersect with the airplane at one time. It looked like they crossed the same point in the sky from my eye line, but the object appeared to be much further away than the airplane. Not more than a couple minutes later, I noticed another bright object of similar shape and color flying in the same path as the previous object. They both appeared to get smaller as they flew into the Southeastern sky until they were no longer visible. I had eyes on each for less than a minute with a clear blue sky and no cloud blocking the view. At 5:45 I noticed I spotted the third object flying across the sky from the same origin and direction as the previous two objects. The difference was I didn’t notice any lights coming from it at all. It appeared to be black or dark brown in color. I could see it in full view when it was directly east of me, and I could not notice a single light or anything. It was flying too high, too fast, and too far away to be a bird, but that is the best way to describe it, almost like a triangular sparrow disappearing into the horizon. It followed the same flight path as the previous objects I had spotted. The closest object I can compare the black object to in shape and size would be Batman’s black bat-shaped throwing knife he shoots out of his suit. About the size of a small pocket knife but more triangular in shape. Each object was observed with light still in the sky just before sunset. I did not notice any trails of light or smoke behind each of the objects.

On a Sunday evening I was setting on my couch in the Livingroom, and I hear a loud sound over my head but didn't think any more about it. Later on, that same night around 3:30am I started to experience strong things happening in my bedroom like the light go off and on. Around 2:30am I thought I was dreaming I woke up looks and it was something setting on my bed. It was black with pointed ears I thought it was my dog and I say what are doing in here it jumps off the bed and went under it I got up and turn on the light and looks under my bed and I didn't see anything. Much later I was waked by a sound of beeping look on the wall and seen this object that looks like a shadow has a green light around at that time I seen it face and head. What I saw was white head with big eyes and a body that was tall and very longer, hands look like a web with fingers. And all of this I had seen in the dark I was so afraid of what I seem I just wrote it off as a dream. From that time till now I experience things in my bed like something in my mattress moving around and touch my feet. I called the police and told them that something was in my house upstairs, they came out and didn't go up there they just used their lights to look and told they told me that they didn't see anything. I went to bed and same thing happened again. I turn off the light and seem this face and head on the wall and ceiling. I am so afraid to sleep in my bedroom. Please help me. All of these things are going on at my house. I can tell you more if you call me.

Went out as usual to look for satellites and shooting stars. looked to the NW direction and saw a skinny horizontal rectangle flash at me twice with a very bright white light. The light was perfectly contained within this rectangle. There was no glow around it or leakage of the light. I thought it might have been a blimp about to light up a sign but there was nothing more. No planes in the sky, no noise.

My husband pointed out the object in the sky as we headed East on the 134 approaching the 210 freeway East in Pasadena. We agreed that it was not a plane. It did not move. Appeared to be rectangular in shape. Clearly white in color. It just disappeared without traveling. During the day, sun was over our car. About 15 seconds duration of our observation.

While driving home from Maine and heading to NY state 6 or more rectangular bright white lights where noted in the sky starting in Lawrence Mass and until Tewskbury Mass. These objects rotated in a circular manner and moved in the sky at lightening speed to the front of the vehicle and side of the vehicle at one point all the objects jetted into 1 combined white light image with a rainbow feature they moved faster than any object we had ever seen. We did not dare to pull over on the side of the road instead we pulled into the Gas station off the Tweksbury exit near the cracker barrel and I took a video of one of the lights which appeared smaller in size and almost appears Iike a small orb significantly smaller than the ones in the sky . When you look up into the object it appeared to be bright white with a blue sky interior and mind you it was dark outside. When leaving the gas station to get on the ramp to get back on the highway 5 to 6 of the objects appeared in the sky so close . We have no idea what these objects were .

Driving 65 mph dry weather clear no clouds light wind over the top of buffalo mt I was looking at the cell towers and saw craft above the towers and to the east of them maybe few hundred yards appeared to be couple hundred few higher than towers. I watched it as I was driving and every time I looked at it I could not make out wings or anything except it was whiteish rectangular with gray squares at each end ! And each time I looked at it appeared to be hoovering distance from towers never changed. I did not see wings craft appeared to be still I pulled over and tried to take but trees in way so I drove about 200 yds and pulled over again but craft was gone. So pics.

I watch until it disappears over my building, continuing on it's westward path, I guess. The sighting times range from approximately 4:55 am to 6am on most days What am I seeing ?

Driving east to west on Taylor St I saw a rectangle object.in the sky. At first, I thought it was an advertising banner being pulled by a plane, but there was no plane in either direction, and the object seemed to be standing still. I kept my eye on the object for about 1 minute before it started to dissipate. I quickly pulled into an empty lot to get out and take a picture, but the object was gone. I was reading about the new Bluewalker 3 satellite, but this object wasn't that high in the sky.

Me and my fiance went out onto our driveway to do work around the property when she had seen something in the sky and gotten my attention, we both witnessed an extremely large rectangular reflective object move from the left to the right slowly. the craft made zero noise, we have never seen anything even close to this. The size is larger than any plane I've ever seen, we called and made a police report with the Haywood County sheriff's office and were told by the officer that he has also seen strange things recently in the sky. Nearby animal life had gone completely silent when what we saw was closest to us, zero clouds in the sky. The weather was clear, there was nothing obstructing our view and we witnessed this craft or whatever it was for no more than 20 seconds clearly, after that we watched it through the trees and saw its speed accelerate.

Very distinct bright white solid lights which appeared slightly vertical, rectangular to horizon (4 pin heads; larger than planets, stars, aircraft) coming up individually in a very straight diagonal line from ground level approximately 3/4" apart travelling northwest to southeast. Approximately 8 in number. Within the course of 3 minutes they each disappeared sequentially at the same point roughly 1/3 high in the sky to dead center above me. I was observing stars in the Flint Hills when this occurred (i.e., no one else present). I took pictures with an iphone7 (i.e., obviously an old model) as they sequentially came up but unfortunately flash was on (i.e., can't see black sky/white objects; may be able to photoshop though I tried a couple of techniques with no success). Was driving home, stopped at a red light when I saw four rather large rectangle shaped bright white lights hovering over a tree line in the distance across a field. I rolled my window down, heard no sound and the objects didn't appear to move, just hover. They were evenly spaced, rectangle shaped and extremely bright with a fuzzy haze around them. I drove home and immediately told my friend what I had seen. Someone I told suggested it was starlink so I looked that up and not only was it not visible in my area at that time but it looked nothing like it.

Large flat rectangle with red, green and white flashing lights and slight haze, approximate in proportion to a smartphone. Created a very loud thunderous drone which was heard first prompting me to look out the window, very loud and drowned out music that was being listened to. Was flying very close overhead then dipped forward in a steep curve towards the building opposite, at which point it was no longer visible. It seemed only one side (the base) of the object was visible. A different quieter mid-frequency drone lasted approximately 15 minutes afterwards. Sound of close proximity helicopters was also audible for a considerable time afterwards but not visible. Location is very close proximity to an arms and aerospace factory.
