At approximately 10:30 PM EST, on 7/16/2014, I looked up to witness a 'line' of flashing lights in the sky. My view was not obscured by any trees or other objects, and the sky was clear. The lights were not flashing in a synchronized fashion, but seemed to be blinking on and off independently of one another, with each doing so at fairly regular intervals of every two seconds or so. The lights seemed to be close to the ground, but - sans a point of reference to judge distance by - I only say that because of how large and bright they were. There were perhaps eight to ten lights that I could see all at once, stretching from a point directly overhead, from north to south, until the roof of my apartment building blocked my view. I watched this go on for around fifteen seconds, then realized that the number of lights seemed to be decreasing; it did not look as if they were ascending, or flying away outside of my field of vision, but rather that every few 'blinks', one of the lights would not light up again. At that point I ran inside to get my fiance. When we got back outside, we went directly to the rear (south) of our apartment building. Since the 'line' stretched in that direction, and presumably beyond my line of sight, I assumed we would have a better view of whatever lights remained from that vantage. This turned out to be the case, as we BOTH still saw four or five of the lights - as well as a single plane flying east to west at a higher altitude than the lights were when I originally saw them - flashing on and off. Only, by this time, they were much further away from our location, and seemed to be at a higher altitude. Our view was also obscured at that point by a number of trees. My fiance still definitely saw them as well, though I wish she could have seen them as I originally had. (For the last hour and a half, I've been constantly refreshing local news sights and google searches, hoping to find a similar report from someone local. So far I've seen nothing. I was sitting outside, enjoying the cool weather, smoking a cigar. I look up out over the trees, and see 3 or 4 lights in a long straight Diagonal line. At 1st I think they are planes, but they are blinking Faster than I've ever seen, almost like strobe lights they were Blinking so fast. Each light was just 1 dot. White. Maybe a little Reddish in the light. I also noticed they were blinking in a pattern In unison. They were moving perfectly in synch so I believe it was 1 large craft. It was moving steadily below the tree line and further away. Took about 5 minutes before it was out of site.

At 9:10PM on July 16th of 2014, a son, his mother, and fiancé sat down to eat a quiet dinner in their suburban home. Approximately five minutes later, his fiancé heard a faint sound and asked what it was. They muted the TV and everyone stopped in their tracks. The two family dogs had their ears perked up and started growling. He went outside and not a moment sooner he came rushing in frantically telling them to come outside. It was reaching dusk and as they went outside in the middle of the street they looked in the sky and instantly brought out their phones to capture a once in a lifetime moment. In the sky, six to eight lights were blinking randomly in a straight line over their street. The lights never moved, staying over the small suburban neighborhood hovering. His mother was quick to point out that whatever was in the sky had blocked the clouds near it. A few seconds later a small airplane was taking flight and was headed in their direction. The plane went under the unidentifiable flying object missing it. At around 9:25PM the object had flown west and never seen after that. The family stayed outside after to try and see if it would come back and to further study the formations of the stars. Three bright stars were in the formation of a large triangle, but later became unidentifiable because of neighboring stars during the night. Whatever it was never came back, but it sure was one scary yet exciting experience.

On a clear night, observed unusual "disc" like objects flying around my home in a circular formation. Unable to identify them since there was no sound, yet they were close enough to be seen as a possible UFO. Suddenly their trajectory changed drastically, while they disappeared like lighting!

I was with my friend enjoying a night sitting outside. We saw 2 separate groups of UFO' s that both traveled in the same pattern. There were 7 in the first group. They appeared in perfect consistent formation traveling across the sky. They were dots of light. No blinking and they were not airplanes. They then faded and disappeared. The second group had 4, moved exactly like the first and disappeared in the same spot as the first. I took a photo and my preview showed that I captured it, but when I went to retrieve it it was solid black. No images at all.

This sighting took place in NW Arkansas, in the Ozark Mountains. My wife and I were staying at our mountain retreat. At approximately 1 a.m., I went out on our back porch, which faces north and overlooks the valley. Our place is located on the very top of Sloan Mountain, which is very rural. The only ambient light was from a few lights in the valley, one cell phone tower to my left and a distant glow from Harrison, Arkansas, located about 25 miles away. Even though the sighting took place during the Fourth of July week, there were absolutely NO fireworks were being used at this time. I was on the porch, facing northward when I noticed a roundish red/orange light, distance is difficult to estimate, but I had the impression it was about 5 miles away. The light was just smaller than dime size. It looked unusual in this environment, so I did a mental assessment of the other lights I was used to seeing. This light I was seeing was above the horizon, noticeably higher than the distant mountains top. The initial light was at my eleven o’clock position and had some slight movement, both vertically and horizontally. Two smaller objects came out of the original light; they expanded to the same relative size of the original one. I noticed other similar lights appear randomly. In total, there were nine of them. They were not in a precise formation, but were generally aligned, but were on different planes. There was some movement, but like the original, no drastic movements. They randomly blinked on and off, sometimes disappearing for two or three minutes, reappearing in slightly different positions. The only constant light was the original. I observed these lights for over thirty minutes. They randomly disappeared, with the exception of the second and third light, which merged back to the original light. My field of view of these objects/lights was from my 10 o’clock to 3 o’clock.

I took this video last night at 9:52 P.M. from our front yard. I apologize for the initial movement, I was attempting to turn my cell phone to the right position. There was so much occurring, that it was difficult to get the right filming position. There were anywhere from 15 to 20 spaceships involved in this sighting. The only way to describe their size was to say that from where I was standing, their height from top to bottom was half the length of the moon. Their colors would change from bright orange to white and then to a vibrant red. When they appeared red, I could see a tall, vertical and massive cylinder-like structure and a bright white V to the right side. Their movement patterns would begin in a formation, change positions from side to side, hover and then become smaller and vanish. If you look closely at the top and very bottom of the line-up you will see the first ship disappear before your eyes and another one appear at the bottom. The green flashes of light across the screen are fireflies. Due to the firefly interference and the incredible occurrence before me, I decided to finally stop filming.

Large display of lights in an angular pattern switching position periodically. Red in color and orb shaped. The crafts then dispersed into different directions after about 20 minutes. At least 16 orbs were seen over a residential area. Could be latterns, but it's highly unlikely. People in a parking lot were also visually witnessing the orbs also. We were watching the fireworks of course, then between the show in Westminster & Denver 4 greenish white lights appeared. They circled with each other, dancing, then formed a very articulate V shape pointing to earth, somewhere near Lafayette. They descended toward the horizon, broke formation & regrouped in a perfect equilateral triangle, with one in the middle. I assume it was a pyramid in the air. They descended further toward the ground & then disappeared.

I seen 3 bright lights in formation of a triangle slowly hovering. I was looking toward the sky watching fireworks while walking when all the sudden down the path I was walking. I seen these 3 bright white lights not flashing just hovering for a approximately 3 minutes. Then like Christmas lights they disappeared then randomly changing formation. Then a few minutes later they follows in a line of 8 lights that appeared head west one synchronized in flight pattern looked the shape of an upside down hook in the sky.

Sitting on Boot Road at Chester County Intermediate Unit with my husband & mother-in-law and looking Northwest toward Downingtown, waiting for fireworks. We noticed lights in the distance, that at first seemed like the type of lights on a cell phone tower and then realized they were moving and were in a formation. We counted 10 distinct lights that looked like red/orange embers moving together in a southern direction. The perspective- how big or far away they were - was difficult to put together because it was dark and they seemed to disappear one at a time, like when a plane flies into a cloud.

Watching fireworks from the eastern slope of Green Mountain in Lakewood, CO with a group with 4 adults and 3 kids. Other larger groups in the vicinity also reported seeing the objects. There were to distinct groups. The first and most suspicious group of 4 appeared from our vantage point to be over DIA. This group changed formation repeatedly but would return to a group of 3 in line with one that moved randomly around them. These objects moved laterally and up and down. No man made aircraft that I have ever seen moves in this manner. I was in an ait squadron in the Navy and have seen all sorts of planes, helicopters, etc. These objects did not move in a manner I have witnessed in man-made aircraft. The second group appeared to be a bit north and ~5 miles west of the first group. This was a group of 5. It is possible that this 2nd group could have been parachutists that I have heard were working a fireworks show. They did appear to descend. This report was prompted by the fact that this was the 2nd time I have seen a similar event on the 4th of July. Either last year or the year before we witnessed objects that moved like the eastern-most group reported last night. They most definitely moved 1000's of feet up and down and potentially miles side to side in a way that was not possible by man-made aircraft. Also, these objects were in the air long enough that we actually got bored watching them and went back to watch fireworks. We would watch the UFO's for a few minutes, the fireworks for a few minutes and so on for 15-20 minutes. Since they appeared to be in the area around the airport, I was skeptical that they could be anything other than aircraft, but this was quickly cleared up by the extreme maneuvering that we witnessed.

Long Description of Sighting Report: We were near Sonoma Square waiting with several thousand people for the 9:30 fireworks. Several minutes before the fireworks started, a kid pointed straight up with his arm and said something like "Hey, a blue ufo!" Most people who heard him (he yelled pretty loud) looked up and we saw a small, far away group of 6-10 faint starlike objects. The group was traveling NE at about the same speed as the international space station. It approached the moon and disappeared. I was willing to assume it was the ISS. Then, another group appeared in the SW and followed the same NE path and disappeared near the moon, too. That eliminated the ISS. Then a 3rd faint group appeared in about the same place in the SW, traveled near the moon, made a 270 degree turn to the west, went a short distance and disappeared. That really eliminated the ISS. What was interesting was the path of the groups. The path was not a perfectly straight line, it was a series of distinct course changes. At least 40 people that were sitting by us saw and many commented on them. There were probably 4000 people sitting on the field, facing South, all looking up in the sky for the first fireworks when these objects appeared. Expect more reports. I am a pilot and used to flying at night - and they def weren't meteors, airplanes, satellites, fireworks.

I noticed around 16 red orbs flying in formation in the northeast. These craft were forming angular patterns and zig-zagging around the sky at a slower speed changing formation several times. A couple other people had noticed these orbs and were taking to themselves about it. I noticed sometime after driving that the orbs were begging to disperse. They made no apparent sound. We were lying on a sleeping bag with a tarp under it waiting for clintonville (metro columbus fireworks. 8:35pm. still daylight. we had very good binoculars with us. one object appeared, round, high up, very obviously not an airplane. we watched it through binocs it changed color and moved slowly aross the sky NW to SE perhaps 15 degrees then returned and was stationary. we would estimate this object to have been at 8000-9000 feet. it continued to change color red blue yellow. then three more identical ones appeared just southeast of where the stationary one was, and the three were in a perfect triangular formation. identical in size and shape to the first one, and changing color. very obviously a formation. we watched this through binoculars for at least two-three minutes. then all four moved southeast, the three staying in formation and the first one off behind. they then moved to a higher altitude and were no longer visible. a number of people saw this. we don't know if anyone else watched it through binoculars. one of us is an MD one of us owns a financial advisory company.

Could not sleep. My bedroom faces due East; the Sapphire Mountains to be specific. I noticed what appeared to be a quickly moving cluster of a few (maybe 3?), very deep red "dots". No white lights and a shade of red that clearly was not "airliner" or "port" red. It/they moved towards the Northwest above the mountains. Quite possible that this/these objects were higher in the sky than my eye and brain could register. Horizontal movement in a straight line only.

Formation of 5-6, light grey colored objects in a V-type formation, all going at same speed, from south to north. No sound of any aircraft. Moving at a brisk speed, faster than a normal airplane, but not excessive like a jet. Not reflective or shining in any way. Was at around 11:30 PM mostly clear sky, partly cloudy. The objects seemed to be the same color as the clouds, just a bit more dim or not as light. We have changed the time of the sighting to 23:30 hrs.. PD

In 2013, my friend and her boyfriend were driving us back to her house (in Hagerstown, MD at that time). I was looking out the window from the back seat when I saw a deep green light in the distance over the woods, in the sky, that moved slowly, horizontally, before pausing and dropping directly behind the trees. In 2014, my friend and I were walking our coworker to her car outside of our restaurant job in Germantown (at that time). As we were talking to her before she ducked into her car, I noticed, again, a deep green light in the distance, in the direction of Father Hurley Blvd. It moved horizontally before pausing and dropping vertically. Later that Summer, we were driving on the back roads at night (in Boyds), when we saw large lights scattered within close proximity of each other in the sky. What freaked us out were the helicopters (3) and the plane-like drone that were flying towards them. In 2016, I was walking home from a friends house mid-afternoon. I happened to glance up when I saw what looked like a large bundle of black balloons. What stood out to me was that they didn't appear to be moving, and I also couldn't make out if that's what it actually was (I can't see too well from afar). Shortly after, it broke up into several black pieces and sort of floated in the general direction I was walking in. I had taken my phone out and snapped a few photos right before it began to move, in which it had startled me. In me rushing home, my eyes kept on it when it eventually moved back together and kind of steadily and smoothly glided away. To add to 2016; there was a night when these two figures in my neighborhood displayed very bizarre behavior that still has yet to sit well with me. I was on my porch some time after midnight when I heard shoes dragging against gravel from the end of my neighborhood. These two figures turned the corner at the end of the neighborhood and began to slowly walk in my general direction. They stopped at one point before one of them started to walk backwards at an angle, never turning to see what was behind him/her. The other person was walking towards a white van when they appeared to see me before taking a single step behind the van. I went inside at that point because of the sketchy behavior. We had a large, bay window in the living room/front of the house, so I peered behind the curtain. After a moment, I watched one of them make their way down my sidewalk, up my yard, to the window. They just stood there, never moved to look in or around, they just stood in front of me. I didn'! t make out a face as everything was dark within their hood. I eventually ran to get my brother and called the police. The next day, my uncle who lived up the block from us, his truck had been broken into and all of the papers within it tossed. Nothing was taken. That probably has nothing to do with the sightings, however directly after this happened, I started having dreams about things being on fire and tanks/planes falling from the sky. The dreams have not stopped yet, and are almost always consistent on a daily basis. I read that someone else who claimed to have seen UFO's had two men in hooded attire knock on his door late at night who frightened him. He claimed to have seen weird things in his head and had consistent dreams of wars. That's what made me want to bring this to light. The last time I saw a UFO was in September of 2017 in Cancun, Mexico. It was at a resort and it seemed to be very far. It was pale looking and I think tic-tac like. I watched it move quickly back and forth but didn't know if I was actually seeing it. My brother's husband along with his brother claimed to then see it, which made me believe it was real. They are two of the biggest skeptics I know, so it solidified that for me. I hope this sheds some light on your research, and I appreciate the work you all do in learning and expanding on the general knowledge of life as a whole.

Three-object linear formation seen on 6/30/14, approximately 21:50 Central. Objects appeared approximately 60 degrees above the horizon, moving south to north. Objects appeared perfectly evenly spaced, maybe ten seconds apart. Size: equivalent to a pencil eraser held at arm's length. Resembled a chase formation seen two years earlier involving the ISS, Russian rocket and ESA ATV resupply vehicle, except these objects were higher in the sky (60+ degrees), larger and brighter. Also, no ISS sightings are scheduled for this region (Huntsville, AL) until 7/12/14. All of these objects were the same color yellow-orange. Very bright. No tail, no fireball. And no sound whatsoever. As objects moved north they gained altitude, grew smaller and vanished. Observer is a sober, master's-degreed human factors specialist with 25-plus years in manned space systems design (ISS program).

At 8 pm ish from a park at west st and 18th, over head above 5000 ft were 4 spherical objects. 3 were in a triangle formation with one off to the side (west) they 'floated" in formation and moved in a north east direction toward the Hudson River ntil an airplane that recently took off from the north west flew in their direction. then, as a unit still in formation they changed direction of movement toward the north west. objects were bright appeared sometimes spherical, sometimes triangular in shape When a second aircraft approached (this airplane had red markings along the side and tail) they started to move again as a unit, in formation but just before the plane reached them they disappeared ! just like that. hey did not reappear. They never changed altitude but seemed to stay the same size. their altitude was above the planes that approached. Im sure the pilots must have seen them. hey reflected and may have produced light which was white-yellow! with a hint of orange. The skye was clear with very little haze. a beautiful day and evening. We question whether this is a serious-minded report. Source describes himself as being a physician. PD
