To whom it may concern , on 4/13/15 looking south westerly around 9 pm at the night sky in Long Beach, NY, I witnessed a very spectacular unidentifiable event that I have never seen in my 48 yrs of life. This was without question, something that must be from another world. The orange lights looked as if it was a huge fountain of the largest fireworks ever that were stopped, (freeze framed) for 10-15 seconds. Suddenly they started moving forming a not so perfect circle, then forming a v-shape, then a not so perfect line. Then one by one disappeared. I have never witnessed a ufo before but now I have. I am true believer and their were several witnesses around me. BTW, the Long Beach Herald investigated and assured that there were no Chinese lanterns sent up anywhere that night. Even if there was, this way too far and were controlled.... ((ADDENDUM FROM WITNESS)) Yes Peter it was 100% the 14th. My Wife and I usually spend time in our outside hot tub most nights. Our hot tub is up against our house and we look directly up to see the sky (after the eave of our house) and then on to the East. We have seen the usual space sightings i.e. the ISS frequently, other Satellites and Meteors along with normal high and low flying aircraft. What we witnessed was totally mind blowing. A very unusual event. Looking directly straight up we saw what looked like a satellite appear and as usual we would have just watched it go and disappear, but this time another satellite appeared directly after it. I commented to my wife, wow that’s unusual and then a 3rd and then a 4th appeared. These “spots of light” looked exactly like other satellites that we have seen. (The ISS is brighter) They were heading East in a Line, following each other. There was no sound (none) as to explain aircraft in formation. They only were white, like the ISS except smaller again like, other satellites we have witnessed. Speed seemed similar to ISS or other satellites we have witnessed. We just watched until they disappeared in the East. Picture below is best I can do .. you will have to imagine the distance between going by the speed described above and the explanation of how quickly we spotted them. West Directly Traveling East O O O O Started seeing them at 90º above us. I am a logical man with many years behind me and have never ever seen anything like this before. I would love an explanation that I could accept. RETRACTION--Thanks to Mr. Ted Molczan of SEESAT-1, we now believe that the 4-5+ objects seen by witnesses in the Pacific Northwest probably were parts from the "Dragon" CRS-6 supply ship, which had been launched a few hours before the sighting. We express our gratitude to Mr. Molczan, and to his collaborators, for spotting our error, and for making the information available to our Center. PD

Driving along the highway and many people saw the triangle formation. There were 3 craft with white blinking lights in a weird pattern. There were no red, blue, or green lights to designate an airplane or helicopter and the lights were spread out over a great distance yet equal distance between all of them. I was on my way home at night and noticed about 8 orange lights in the sky, 7 of which were in an arrow formation, and a single light behind the arrow formation. They were softly glowing and appeared to be all slowly moving to the right, and then one by one they started to slowly fall and fade away until there was one left, just falling. I tried to keep watching the last one fall, but it fell out of my view. It appeared to be getting pretty close to the ground, though. Right as I was about to turn into my neighborhood, just moments after the last orange glowing light was out of sight, I saw an orange burst of light out in the distance, maybe a couple of miles away. I'm not sure if the burst of light was connected with the UFO, but it could have been. Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. PD

Early in the morning, I was driving down a major road when I saw several lights in formation in the sky. As I was driving down the road, which lasted only 5 minutes at most, the lights changed in brightness and moved slightly. At one point, the formation was reminiscent of Orion's belt. This was early in the morning as the sun was coming up, so it was not a cloud, not airplanes (because those don't look like a star), and probably not stars because they moved and increased in brightness. I was able to take a picture when I was stopped at an intersection.

My daughter and I were out on our balcony looking for the Andromeda galaxy. When we suddenly noticed what looked like a lone wisp of smoke traveling across the clear, night sky. As we focused on this movement, we both realized that it was multiple pin-point lights that traveled in a V formation, with an occasional slight wave-like movement in this formation, like a flock of birds. We followed it until it went out of our vision over the roof. We went to the front of the house to continue looking and it disappeared.

I was looking out my back door about 8:20 PM and I saw about 10 orange lights in the west southwest sky approximately 35-40 degrees high. They appeared to be moving south to north in a tight formation. They seem to stop, and at that time I observed 3 more lights approaching from the south, when I looked back for the group they were no longer there. At that time 3 more appeared from the same area in the south as the original groupings, one of these appeared to drop straight down, the remaining two moved north about 2 or 3 seconds then faded from view. They were slightly larger in size then Venus, steady bright reddish orange in color. I live in Lake Charles, Louisiana, which is 30.3 lat, 93.2 long.. Clear sky somewhat light poluted, since I live near downtown.

As to your questions there was no glass I was shooting through and no class in front if my lens, it was shot straight I I the air. Source indicates that the photo was taken from outdoors, so the lights cannot be reflections off the inside of a window. PD

Three lights appeared in the southern sky. They were spread far apart but in a straight line. They appeared to be connected by a slight shade like a haze. The lights remained constant then from left to right the went out.

Returning home going east on Ray Road just east of Ellsworth at around ten at night. This is a new housing development area with lots of daytime housing construction during the day and vast open areas. I was in the passenger seat and saw six bright lights at a little above ground level to the ESE. There are other lights in the area from warehouses and domestic homes. These were in a horizontal line consistent with the ground and were different, spanning about 100 yards in width if my measure is correct. My girlfriend was driving and commented on them and I wasn't sure what it was. There were 3 passengers in the back seat and we all saw them. Unlike mercury or sodium vapor lights, these looked incandescent, yellowish white, bright and large. What stood out is that unlike the domestic and business lights to the left and right of this array, these had a hazy fog around them.... They were about 1/2 mile away... I wanted to go over there, but there are n! o roads .... I have looked at that area every night since and it is dark....

I went outside for a cigarette. Looked up to the stars like I always do. I thought it was a wisp of cloud moving, but as I kept watching it was a formation of white dots moving across the sky. I kept watching to count about 20 of these white "star-like" points of light. They were moving in a loose line but as i watched i could count two next to each other as they slowly moved closer in to a distinct "V" formation. At some points it was hard to count them because it looked as if they over lapped. The formation moved at an accelerated airplane speed. I was facing North-North-East as they moved North-North-West. After about 12 seconds they disappeared out of side over a tree and far away. From my 60 degree angle it appeared that they were closer to to the Norfolk Naval Base as i did not see them over-head. If this was a flock of geese i dont know why it was so easy to spot them and why they were lit up.

I was outside looking at the night sky when I noticed 4 round objects slowly moving southward in the sky. They were lined up equidistant from each other and initially I thought it was one larger object. They appeared to be illuminated from the bottom in a whitish light. There were no blinking lights to indicate an airplane or helicopter which I observe frequently. I did not hear any noise or sound but they may have been too far away. As they passed thru the sky the furthest light from me moved slightly away and behind the other 3 lights. At this point all four lights disappeared at the same time and did not reappear while I was watching. I frequently watch the night sky and observe the stars. I have witnessed meteors, comets, “shooting stars” , the International Space Station as while as search lights and aircraft. Whatever I witnessed was not something I could identify. I am a female my early 50s and have been in healthcare and healthcare management for nearly 25 years. I have a B.S. in Business/Healthcare Management as well as two Associate’s of Science degrees. I own my home in a suburb about 13 miles south of Boston. Witness indicates that the date of the sighting is approximate. PD

The lights were yellow to golden in color. They traveled over US going north across interstate 70… and close behind them a 2nd formation of the same type of lights. It was very odd and we have never seen anything like this before. I looked online to see if anyone else had reported or could explain what we saw and have found no explanation. I am a Security Systems Sales Engineer. I design surveillance, access, and intrusion detection systems. I have been a security professional for 13 years. Before that I had a number of experiences. One of witch was being in Tehran in 1976. This was totally different. Standing on Hempsted Hill, Patterson Park I was looking for Taurus on an unusually clear night. As I found Orion and started to look north a flight of lights entered from my left. Three perfect chevrons of 3 lights each and some meandering, looping lights, maybe 3 or 4 just looked loose, unco-ordinated. I thought it might be some sort of reflection but off my glasses, but I had to swivel my head to watch, and they maintained a straight line of flight, as I observed them. Freaky, It's rare I see something that I cannot explain. Contact me anytime. One bright light that I was trying to locate with my sky view app and could not recognize as I got behind the wheel I handed the phone to my 10 yr old to try to identify the Very bright light my thought it was probably a planet again my sky view app could not identify the bright light my detection was facing west into Red Rock canyon and 3 flashing lights were in formation flashing blue and red I saw some green my son said red and blue 😣 I was trying to exit and snap a picture but flashing lights were moving east into the city I can't explain never saw anything coming out of the dark canyon at that hour I lost sight ... Air Force maybe I don't know but what ever was in control of the objects were pro in the formation and coordination 😕 did anyone one else experience this tonight We are uncertain as to whether this report is intended as a serious-minded account of a sighting. My wife and I were driving home at about 9:15pm on Tuesday, the 10th of March. We were driving NE on hiway 70. I looked out of my driver's window and saw several very bright orange/yellow lights in a stationary line formation, so I pulled over immediately to observe them. As we sat parked on the side of the road we saw that the light farthest to the west was fading rapidly and at the same time a new light at the east end of the formation was emerging, this went on for several seconds, until a small cluster of lights formed at the east end of the formation, and the rest of the lights from the west end all faded away. As I was trying to record them with my cell phone they all disappeared. We sat looking for them and discussing what we saw for a few seconds and then we pulled off and continued driving about 500 feet to our entrance and as we turned in and were driving west again we saw the same bunch of lights so I drove towards them trying to get a better view through the trees and after that we only saw them for a couple more seconds through the trees and they were out of sight again.

Formation of 3 bright orbs seen from SE Portland. My wife, son and I observed what looked like bright aircraft lights over east Portland, in the vicinity of Rocky Butte. As we watched it, we saw that it was actually three lights, moving in various formations: triangular, horizontal, and almost vertical. They was moving very slowly in the beginning. Two of the lights departed to the east and were lost from view, while one appeared stationary to the west of Rocky Butte for several minutes before flying east as the others had done. My son recorded the lights on his cell phone camera for several minutes. what we saw is very similar to a Portland sighting reported February 15, 2015.

Wife and I on the deck smoking and saw two balls of light in a straight formation. Illuminated the clouds around it as it passed by. Roughly a football field long and flying low and totally silent. Duration about ten seconds. Yellowish, amber in color dim but bright enough to see. Traveling at a high rate of speed.

I was out enjoying some exercise when I noticed a series of large, bright, spherical, red-orange lights floating south over the mountain/valley. There were 3 in an obvious triangle formation, and a 4th floating West on this side of the mountains. The triangle slowly grew in size and shifted, increasing the angle until they formed an arch in coordination with the 4th. As this happened, the lights grew brighter until they were illuminated a golden color. During this process of lining up, there were many planes flying in normal formation southwest toward the airport. They looked obviously like planes, with landing lights blinking in red and white. These orbs were MUCH larger, despite being further away at first. As the Arch lengthened and became more equidistant, I observed a 5th light come out from behind the mountain (or from the surface of it?) and join the line. Not long after the 5th showed up, a 6th appeared, blinking into existence or appearing as though it had come very quickly from the south. The 5th slowed down and allowed the 6th to join the formation before proceeding. They all lined up in an arch and proceeded westward at an equidistance. At one point they were flying in front of a plane at the same altitude and an object flew directly in front, obscuring it. It disappeared (?) as the craft crossed its path. Each object was perfectly spherical, starting red orange, intensifying to golden yellow as the numbers increased. Eventually several in formation seemed to begin emitting bright yellow flickers like a bright spot in an welding arc. They looked like they were heading toward Tooele over Chipper Peak. Line of site was lost with most of them behind a building before I left to go tell others about the event.
