March 8, 2016 · 8:20 PM · FIREBALL

Glenview, IL

I observed a large bright green glowing object fall to earth a few minutes ago. I had just looked up out the window, which faces east when I saw the glowing object fall in a slight arc to the earth and it seemed to have a white, or silvery color part to it. I would describe it as a green “fireball”. It lasted about 4 seconds.

March 6, 2016 · 9:30 PM · FIREBALL

Hurricane, WV

The light then began falling to the ground whilst alternating between blue and red flashing colors. It seemed to fall in a straight path directly towards ground. Five seconds later it rose back into the sky, once again flashing red. It stayed there for several seconds and fell again. Once more it rose into the sky, further away this time. It then began heading south/ south east while still flashing red. It then disappeared. I was in a vehicle in an open parking lot at this time. The sky is very clear tonight, not overcast whatsoever. I have never seen anything like this. My fiancé was also a witness to this as well and has the same account of all details.

March 6, 2016 · 8:00 PM · FIREBALL

Hayesville, NC

I live on Tusquittee Mountain outside of Hayesville, NC. At, or about 20:00, I saw a red fireball like object above the neighboring mountain south of my location. It moved very slightly and then shot off to the west and then up at an incredible speed. I have NEVER been a proponent of UFO's, but this was something I could not deny or pass off.

Object looked like a shooting star, however, came low to tree line and lifted as if it "swooped" and then flash disappeared entirely. Was unlike anything I've witnessed before.

March 1, 2016 · 5:57 AM · FIREBALL

Was going fast couldn't use my camera it was gone. No sound and was not flying up or down just straight across the sky. At 5:56 has anyone else seen the same object? February 29, 2016 · 8:29 PM · FIREBALL

Warner Robins, GA

The orbs were glowing orange and completely silent from my vantage point. They were approximately 2,000 to 3,000 ft ASL and moving as fast as the aircraft typically fly here. I’m guessing around 250–300 mph. They were approximately ¼ of a mile from where I was standing. Not likely terrestrial aircraft as they did not have landing lights or red/green aviation lights. I have been in aviation for 15 years as a mechanic and SME for 4 years. I would likely know if it were an aircraft and I have never seen anything like these.

February 29, 2016 · 12:00 AM · FIREBALL

Thornton, CO

Orange circle passing through Thornton at a speed that is not from a man made aircraft, no blinking lights to tell if it was any kind of aircraft. Moving slowing then split into 2 , traveling together then disappear. Date may be 01MR16. PD

February 27, 2016 · 8:00 PM · FIREBALL

Holiday, FL

After a few seconds, the one in the front disappeared then the next one and finally the last. That's it. I don't know if this means anything but I've noticed an increase in airplane traffic in my area, I've lived here 7 years, and its never been the way it is now.

February 26, 2016 · 9:45 AM · FIREBALL

Niceville, FL

Left Destin heading toward Niceville and had just got off the toll bridge. We saw 4 orange fireballs in a pretty straight veriticle line going West to East. There was no noise and each ball kept a pretty similar distance from the other. They appeared to be keeping up with each other with about 1/4 mile spacing. We couldn't determine the distance that well. We tried using our iPhones to record but unfortunately they were not visible because of the lighting conditions, although we had stopped to watch them. Super crazy!

February 23, 2016 · 10:00 PM · FIREBALL

Dieppe (Canada), NB · Canada

I was walking home from a convenience store around 10-10:30 pm. I am not positive about the date or exact day its been about a week give or take. Walking home I was watching around the moon and all of a sudden a "fireball" basically a orange glowing ball about 2x the size of Mars was floating along in the sky no sound or trail just glowing orange. It caught my attention and I stopped walking to observe it floating then it disappeared. about 5-10 seconds later it appears again. This time it appears around where it started the first time. My heart started to beat faster as it floats from right to left once again and disappears. I was about 3/4 of the way home walking on the side walk so I didn't go back to see once I got home. I guess I should have tried to record it but it was so cold!

February 22, 2016 · 7:00 PM · FIREBALL

Lebanon, MO

My teenage son roams our 2 acre property every evening, looking at stars and playing with our cats. He came in to get me a few minutes before 7 and told me he saw some strange orange globe lights in the sky and that he didn't know what they were. I immediately went out, looked in the northwest sky, just over the horizon and I saw an orange globe fireball light that suddenly split apart and was 3 globes, but they were very very close together and I couldn't tell if it was one or three. My son said the same. He couldn't tell if it was four or one. They stayed in the sky for 15 seconds or so, and then just went out. Over the next hour and a half the lights came back, all in similar areas, but not exactly the same place. Sometimes the globes were further apart, other times, closer. They were in a straight line. I went inside for a while and my son said they were arranged in a triangle shape at times. I came back out and saw them one more time. My son caught a 3 second video, but his battery went dead. There was no sound at all. My son said they looked to be about 3 miles away. I could not tell. The dogs in the neighborhoos were going crazy barking. Our two cats were acting very odd. I am not sure if this is significant enough to warrant being contacted by an investigator, but you may contact me if desired.

February 21, 2016 · 7:20 PM · FIREBALL

Sandy, OR

We were driving and observing the night sky, when we spotted a bright ball of light in the sky. Bigger than any star and not a plane, for it was huge. All of the sudden this huge ball of light stalled for a second or two, then fell immediately straight down on to the earth behind the tree line. Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. PD

February 20, 2016 · 11:45 PM · FIREBALL

San Luis Obispo, CA

Went outside for a cigarette, looked up and saw what I thought was an orange shooting star, had a fiery tail. The object dropped off a blinking orange object and then gained altitude until it was as small as a star.

February 20, 2016 · 5:50 PM · FIREBALL

Towson, MD

Noticed streaks in the sky while driving. At first one, then two, then three. It was while sitting at the longest red light in the history of red lights, that I saw the forth. They looked like fireballs falling. But it seemed like they were stopping and then would start moving again. The three on one side and the fourth coming in from the opposite direction.

February 16, 2016 · 5:12 PM · FIREBALL

Williamsburg, VA

On 16 Feb 2016, my 15 year old son and I were coming from soccer practice, heading South on Centerville Rd. in Williamsburg, VA. At 17:12 local, I saw what appeared to be an object "on fire" moving rapidly from left to right (East to West) as we viewed it. I asked my Son, "Are you seeing this?" He replied, "Yes...that's cool!!" It took 4 seconds to traverse our view, and then was obscured by the trees lining the road. It was cold looking up front, bluish/white in color and as you looked aft, the "tail" seemed to be much hotter or on fire. A yellow/orange color like fire or an object burning up in the atmosphere. I estimated it to be about 30 degrees elevation from our view in the car and would estimate its declining altitude to be 300-500 AGL, when we viewed it. We saw no impact due to the trees obscuring our view and heard no sirens or emergency vehicles once we reached the house. Figured if it were a meteor, it would impact and get people's attention?

February 16, 2016 · 5:00 PM · FIREBALL

Enterprise, WA

At first I thought I was just seeing a jet with a large contrail, but the plume got wider and the object was a white ball with the streaming plume, which seemed to get larger as it flew from SE to NW. It disappeared behind clouds. I waited to see if I'd hear a sonic boom or anything, as I have seen space junk and a large meteor another time which made sonic booms, but nothing. This was approx. 5 PM, I was walking my dogs which are a handful, so didn't think of looking at time. I did snap a couple of pics, and will look to see how they came out. That's all neighbor. We have requested copies of the photos. PD
