Le samedi 30 mai 2009 vers 2h50 du matin, un témoin sur sa terrasse observe durant 3 secondes le passage rapide et silencieux d'un objet composé de trois points lumineux oranges formant un triangle équilatéral. Le témoin distingue entre ces points un halo orange mais de plus faible intensité. Aucun autre témoignage n'est recueilli. Ce cas est faiblement étrange compte tenu de sa très courte durée et sa trajectoire rectiligne, mais le témoignage est en revanche très consistant : le témoin est un observateur expérimenté, très précis quand il peut l’être (direction, vitesse du vent) et s’abstient lorsqu’il ne le peut. Le témoignage a plusieurs caractéristiques des témoignages de bolides, mais pas suffisamment pour pouvoir affirmer que c’en était un. Aucune confirmation au sein de la base BOAM n'a été apportée. Le 28 mai 2009 entre 4h25 et 4h 50 deux témoins observent un point statique et particulièrement lumineux dans le ciel. Des photos sont prises du phénomène dont la luminosité s'affaiblit avec le lever du jour. Ces témoins ont probablement fait une observation astronomique de Jupiter particulièrement visible en cette période de l'année (magnitude apparente environ -2,5 et diamètre angulaire environ 40").
