Le 28 mai 2009 entre 4h25 et 4h 50 deux témoins observent un point statique et particulièrement lumineux dans le ciel. Des photos sont prises du phénomène dont la luminosité s'affaiblit avec le lever du jour. Ces témoins ont probablement fait une observation astronomique de Jupiter particulièrement visible en cette période de l'année (magnitude apparente environ -2,5 et diamètre angulaire environ 40").
