Le 26 novembre 2011 à 4h53 un témoin observe le passage d'un point lumineux avec une trainée verte. La description que fait le témoin correspond tout à fait à un bolide : forte lumière avec trainée verte, trajectoire rectiligne, durée de quelques secondes. On appelle bolide le phénomène produit par la rentrée dans la haute l’atmosphère d’une « grosse » météorite (de plus de 100 grammes, c'est-à-dire de quelques centimètres à 1m). Du fait que cette observation a aussi été enregistré sur le réseau REFORME (observateurs de météores) au même instant (à une minute près) par plusieurs observateurs, l'origine météoritique du phénomène ne fait pas de doute. Dans la nuit du dimanche 20 novembre 2011vers 4h du matin, un jeune scout dans une salle municipale est intrigué par un point lumineux de plusieurs couleurs qu'il observe à travers une fenêtre. Il constate que le point se déplace lentement puis s'arrête. Aucun bruit particulier n'est perçu par l'enfant durant son observation d'un vingtaine de minutes. Un enquêteur a été mandaté pour aller vérifier sur les lieux les directions de visée correspondant à l'observation. La direction constatée correspond avec la position de la très brillante étoile Sirius. Le témoignage ne correspond toutefois pas exactement à l'aspect d'une étoile fixe. Mais étant donné le contexte de la scène (Enfant de 9 ans, au milieu de son sommeil, dans un lieu inconnu), cette relative incohérence n'est pas étonnante. Le GEIPAN classe ce cas "B" : observation probable de Sirius. [GEIPAN classification B — Sirius]
