I was turning onto 1044 and looked to the left and saw 4 orange lights in diagonal formation. I turned heading in the opposite direction for perhaps a half mile, then turned left onto County Line Road north, and looked to my left where I had seen the lights, and they were gone. Two bright lights in the sky that would flash simultaneously. Other planes were in the area that seemed to be chasing them. The lights would fade out of view once a plane got close, then would come back when the plane was far enough away. Me and my fiance saw this. There were approximately 15 flashing red lights in a vertical formation. They were seen headed NW, and then shifted to W. The lights were flashing in sync, and appeared to have an effect of “falling” - as the lights traveled farther in the distance over the mountain, the blinking appeared randomized. When we first saw it, it looked like a cell phone tower, because off how straight the lights were; after it was in the distance, it looked more like a grouping, in no particular order. There was no detectable sound. Dogs in the neighborhood were barking loudly. Usually one barks at a deer or two, but to hear many dogs barking at 9:15pm was odd.

At approx. 21:00 hrs through 21:15 hrs my mom was taking the dog out and noticed in the south eastern sky traveling to the south western sky, where Orion would be later in the night, a string of at least 12 visible lights that were red occasionally blinking white (one at a time but not in order) then going back to red. The distance was unknown but there was no sound to be associated with the lights. She came and got me about five minutes after she first noticed the lights. They were evenly spaced and appeared to be moving slowly from east to west finally disappearing over the mountains. I was able to grab image stabilizing binoculars which just made the red and white lights appear larger. A minute passed and I grabbed my dad from inside and all three of us watched as the lights slowly moved over the mountains and disappeared. At the end of the formation to the east there was another set of lights which looked like a normal plane which appeared to be following the red and white light formation. The plane was lower in the sky to the other lights and moving at a different speed and angle and had "normal" blinking running lights including green. What really stood out was the exact distance of the lights to one another, the fact they appeared to be in a perfect line with no sound and the slow rate of speed. It was impossible to tell wether it was one huge craft or many smaller crafts. The following day on the news reported it was a military formation of C 130 (I think), performing training HALO mission flying to Nevada.

9News is reporting a string of lights moving in formation, about 13, without any sound. Numerous pics and even video on YouTube. The sky was clear and it was about 35 degrees on Saturday, December 09, 2017. It was about 19:30 when I saw a huge falling star (meteorite) that fell due west. I was the only one who saw this. We had just turned south out of my family’s driveway (a tractor pulling a trailer of 17 adults). It was around 20:30, there were 18 adults on a hayrack ride. We were in a rural area, and I happened to see some flashing round red lights. There were eight lights and they appeared to be “hooked” together by something because they were evenly spaced. The lights would blink on and off at the same time. They were traveling in a horizontal line and in a west/northwest direction. All of us on the hayrack ride saw these lights. We watched the lights for about 15-20 minutes before we could no longer see them. My nephew and his friends who were in a different town about 10 miles east of us, also saw these red flashing lights. He described them exactly how we saw them.

Did not manage to count the number of lights, but multiple red flashing lights in a straight formation equal distance apart which stretched pretty far across the sky was seen by my girlfriend and I when driving home from Cody around 8:30pm. My best possible guess is some sort of flight convoy. Didn't hear any sounds. Definitely strange and unfamiliar.

At approximately 8:15 PM, my husband was coming home from work and spotted a formation of lights in the sky. He called me and told me to go outside and look at the lights. The lights were directly over our property and were approximately 1/4 mile wide. There were 18-20 red lights that were flashing in a sequential order. The lights were exactly the same distance apart and looked liked they bowed near the end. There was absolutely no sound and the object was moving very slowly. I called our neighbor and asked her to go out and look. She saw and reported the exact same thing. I also called the Jackson County Sheriff's office and they dispatched a deputy out. The deputy reported to me that he had seen the exact same formation and really didn't know what it was. He also said they had been getting reports from towns and counties in surrounding areas. We live a few miles from the regional airport and are very familiar with small planes and helicopters flying over. This formation was flying at about the same height. It was flying low. I did receive a call back from the Jackson County Sheriff's dispatcher, and she said Scott Air Force base had been contacted and they claimed they had planes flying in a formation over the region. This is absolutely impossible, but not unexpected. The object blocked out the stars, was moving much too slowly for a plane (s) or even helicopters, the formation of lights did not deviate position at all, and there was absolutely no noise.

We (my roommate and I) were ice fishing on Hyalite Reservoir on the evening of Saturday, December 9, 2017, at approximately 20:00 hrs. The sky was very clear with no moon to light the sky and little light pollution otherwise. The stargazing at Hyalite is very good. Looking to the north we spotted a line of red lights moving west to east. The lights were flashing approximately once a second, in no particular order and held a very steady, evenly spaced formation. They eventually vanished behind clouds, so we assumed they were flying at an altitude of at least a several thousand feet above the ground. It took a few minutes for the objects to move across the sky and appeared to be moving like distant planes, but the lights did not match any sort of aircraft we had seen in the sky before, and the steadiness of the line-formation was unique.

Driving on I-70 eastbound, from Hays, to the left ahead was a line of red and white blinking lights. They didn’t stay in a line either. Some would go in front and above the others, but for the most part moving northwest in a line. I exited the highway and took a dirt road, Pfeifer Ave. North. At that time they were right in front of me. I stopped the car to get out and film. Then they changed formation and moved very quickly northeast. Out of seemingly nowhere a long line of blinking red and green lights just appeared in the sky, no big flash or start, it was very subtle. They were definitly lights though. I thought they might be crane lights, but there were thousands of them in a straight line that seemed to stretch for miles. Maybe they were lights on an airplane, but they moved across the sky so slowly that you'd think they weren't even moving, but over the course of a hour they slowly drifted westward. A plane would've flown much faster across the sky at that distance relative to myself. Best estimate of distance is at the start being maybe a half mile to a mile above me and a few miles to the south west. There didn't seem to be any other lights. It didn't do anything but rapidly blink between red and green and slowly drift west.

Approximately 7:10am 9th December 2017 two male occupants on a hunting outing were traveling northwest of Washburn, ND, on a section line road. Both men exited the vehicle and looked north into a clear and calm northern sky. The Constellation Ursa Major or the "Big Dipper" was in very clear full view. Both men very clearly saw activity around the brightest star of the handle portion of the Constellation. The star Alioth appeared to have 3 objects orbiting in a similar manner protons orbit a nucleus. The objects stayed the same relative distance from each other as they chased each other in opposite proximity. For instance, one object would be above and the other below, or east while the other west. The objects moved in their orbit at a speed similar to a candle flickering. The objects orbit covered about one or two degrees of sky or similar to making an inch with thumb and index finger and extending one's arm as a scale. The activity may have been ongoing prior to the witnesses sighting as the event was viewed as it ended. The time of witness and end was approximately 30 seconds. The objects broke the orbiting pattern and moved away from each other about 3 degrees before flashing and fading out. The fade away left visible tales or streaks in the sky and faded away. One witness is well versed in aircraft, flight patterns and abilities both commercial and military. The flight characteristics of the objects were very precise and calculated. The patterns and characteristics could not be duplicated with any known aircraft. Witness is knowledgeable in general astronomy and phenomenon.

On December 8th, 2017 Friday night. I was sitting in my car facing west as I noticed red lights traveling together in a cluster of 5-6 lights gliding together. I looked around and saw airplanes traveling towards airport which is the opposite direction. The lights traveled low enough for me to hear a craft sound flying above and as each light disappears one by one until all gone I could hear the sound shut off until all you heard was the sound of people and cars. A min later I could see helicopters or small planes flying around way different that the huge cluster of lights spread apart. I immediately text two of my friends to log the time I saw the red lights and I also drew what I saw on a blue piece of paper with red lights. After hearing other witnesses come forward I knew I had to account for my Experience.
