Sedona/Cottonwood looking NE, AZ
Location: Sedona and Cottonwood 9-21-14, 6:45pm. I was hiking at dusk in Sedona, looking Northeast and there was a big flash across the sky in the low horizon. 8:20pm. After stopping for dinner, I returned to my car to make the drive South to Cottonwood. There were more flashes of light in the same region of sky. I could see them in my mirror and out the driver’s window, depending on the curvature of the 89A. Once back in Cottonwood I continued to watch the Northeast sky. There have been two more bright flashes in the last 20 minutes. Notably, there are no clouds in the sky. I checked the weather report for Flagstaff and there is a 0% chance of rain.

I am a student pilot and work at a local observatory I saw the light through my window, it was a single point with two peaks emitting from the top and bottom, it was flashing extremely fast among the colors red, green, yellow, blue, white and orange, it would flash for a few seconds, then go off, then flash some more I have a video, it's low res and only 15 seconds long and doesn't show the beams that were emitted,

9:30pm Saturday, September 20th. Two circular red lights resembling star hover above a mountain on new liberty road in pleasant valley area. Both hovered glimmering a red tint just as some stars do. A jet came by over my house as it is in a flight path. As the aircraft approached the mountainside the ufo on the right slowly descended behind the mountain until out of sight. As the aircraft got closer the ufo to the left slowly dropped to the treeline, hovered there a few seconds, and dropped behind the mountain out of sight. In a five minute window afterwards five planes came flying by in the directon of the ufos.

They were 3 bright orange lights in the sky sitting still for a while. They were blinking. They were evenly spaced in a straight line. They sat there for like 2 mins then disappeared. They reappeared from time to time. Then after a few more sightings only one would appear in different locations in the sky above. Until it just vanished.. Dear sir/Madam, This is in regards to the unusual scene I noticed in the sky on 09/20/14 at 7:55 pm near Catonsville. I saw some golden yellow lights moving around in sky they were as if 20 to 25 planes moving in the same direction. After sometimes the lights disappeared one by one. Initially my husband refused to see, as he was driving. When we stopped, he and my daughter were totally shocked. I don't know if it was some kind of UFO or something else. But I'm quite sure it is not normal, if it was meteor shower then it would seem to be falling not moving here and there and going off. We are very curious to know what it is? Thank you.

I was sitting in my back yard when a friend of mine notice 8 lights in the sky they looked like stars but there were only eight so he didn't think they were so we kept an eye on them and they started off as white light then it started to turn to a light orange then started to disappear it was in the formation of two triangles right next to each other the points being the object/light with two lights in the middle between the two triangles so basically two dots with a triangle on each side of the dots....then about 10 or 15 minutes later they were gone with no trace of ever being there I know it wasn't just us because I walked to my front yard and my neighbor's across the street were looking at them as well....if there is any way I could find out what they were I would be very happy

Bright green and red light with a flashing white light rose very quickly from the tree-line to an estimated 300 feet, stopped, swerved back and forth quickly, then ascended rapidly again (maybe 100 more feet) before rapidly descending back below the tree-line. May have been a toy helicopter/drone, but the lights were very bright if it was one and it moved very quickly and went very high for a toy. We spoke via telephone with the witness, and he sounded to us to be quite sincere about his sighting. PD

I was sitting in my backyard talking with my boyfriend about something and in our backyard it is really really dark at nighttime. All of a sudden I seen this bright light that looked to me it had some sort of flame behind it. It was so bright that it lit up the sky till it disappeared when it went down behind the trees. I know it wasn't a shooting star cause it would not have been as low as it was above me and my boyfriend. And a shooting star would've moved faster than this object did. This bright object moved slower and flew real low above us.I swear It was a ufo of some sort. When it went behind the trees it just disappeared and was nowhere. I looked cause like I said I knew this was no shooting star. The only sound I heard that was faintly was the sound of the fire behind the bright object, but it was a faint sounding noise. I wish I knew what that bright light was. It's really bugged me ever since I seen it. It was an amazing thing to get to see.

This evening, my daughter and I were out on the patio, when all the sudden we noticed 10+ little twinkling lights moving in a circular formation across the sky. I have grown up around airplanes and these were NOT planes, the lights were all moving independently of each other. Bright white light as if it was a large aircraft/plane but was soon to land. (There is an airport nearby but the reason this caught my attn is because there were no red or blue flashing lights identifying it as a plane. Just the white light as if a headlight and it was the brightest i've ever seen. I seen this object go through a very dense cloud as if it were fog but as it was exiting out, it was gone completely disappeared.

About 8:30 pm for two nights in a row (09-17-14 / 09-18-14) orange flare-like objects appeared & disappeared on the Northern horizon in varying positions (out toward Nellis AFB and further West) never more than two or three at a time. I watched them with three friends. They were stationary, drifting only slightly before fading out and flickering the entire time. No other colors or patterns indicating aircraft. Probably flares but web search yields nothing.

So, I tossed it away in mind like maybe it was a tower that I just don't remember was there. But, I kept looking out at it and all of a sudden the flashing lights stopped and other sets of dimmer lights came on and the whole thing took off quickly behind the trees.

I was standing in a parking lot, toward downtown Atlanta, when I looked up and saw a blue light hovering in the distance, it went up straight into the sky, then it went directly right and then left, thats when I started filming, when it went right and left it didn't hesitate, it was fast and had a very smooth quick motion. Then it finally went down and blinked off. I'm not sure if it was a UFO or just some building light, but I don't think it was. I was sitting in the bleachers watching a tractor pull (noisy event) when i observed two pairs of orangish lights traveling slowly across the sky at a rate of a slow small aircraft or helicopter. The first pair turned to the SW, then another pair appeared from the east, then another, each pair turning to the SW following the same path. There were a total of 16 lights. The objects disappeared below the treeline to the South of the grandstands. I thought someone was flying small RC drones as part of the town fair. That was for the first 4. Then the next 4 came and I thought they might be helicopters doing something for Aberdeen Proving Ground (about 45 min drive SW of us)...which may well be the case, but no information has yet surfaced.

I woke up at around 2 am and focused on my east facing window for some reason. We have an annoying dog as our backyard neighbors and I thought maybe the dog had barked, so I was laying in bed looking out the window waiting for a bark, when I saw a small white light in the sky zoom in from the left (north) at a great deal of speed. The light stopped within the view of my window and stopped moving. I would estimate the light to be over the Colfax/Wadsworth area, but it was hard to tell as the I had a very limited frame of reference. In my sleep addled state I thought at first that it was a plane, but then I realIzed how fast it moved into my field of view and that it had stopped. I surmised that if it was a plane, it's reference within the window would change against the tree tops I can also see In the window. I watched the light for a full 20 minutes and it never moved. I then began to think it was a star, but again no other stars were visible due to the light pollution of Denver and it had literally flown into my field of view earlier. I drifted off to sleep at this time for about 10 minutes by my brdside clock and when I looked again the object was still in its same place and not moving. The light looked white and "flickery" like a star looks but it's position never moved against any reference points in my window. It never grew larger or smaller either, so I surmise it was hovering. It also had no noise I could discern, nor did it project any light (like a searchlight) it just looked like a star. I fell asleep again at 2:35 and woke back up at 2:45 and the object was gone from view completely. I even got out of bed to see if it was now behind a tree, but it was completely gone from view.

Flying stars just seen again. Just went back outside after making my first report and looked in the south-south west and saw a very large star approaching at a 45 degree angle. It came directly over and headed northnorth-west, never changing speeds or brightness. It looked like a very bright moving star. When it got just over head, another appeared inmy view traveling north to south right past the first one. This one was noticeable different in size and brightness, don't know if that's because of the distance it was from me or the size. Does someone know what times the satellites fly over Valley, Alabama??? This was at 9:33pm. Oh, at 9:37pm I think a shooting star flashed over head after these two objects past.

I see these almost every night with the naked eye. Just now 2 star like objects moving in a south to north fashion were just spotted. These objects always appear to be moving stars and sometimes if straight over head they will start burning real bright, then dull back down. Some people try to say their satellites but I find that hard to believe when I see 13 of them in a 50min period, with the naked eye. The only way to describe it is a moving star that can be seen approaching at a 45-degree angle sometimes and leaving on the horizon as far as possible with binoculars sometimes. The second one seen tonight wasn't quite straight over head but off to my left and appeared to get brighter and lighter, within a rhythm. This is along the Chattahoochee River and they always appear to be going north-south or south-north. If the skies right they can be seen every night. Oh yea, the sky was perfect this evening and two jets traveling north-south came over spraying a very thick trail within a 10 min period straight over head. 10 min later a large jet flying south-north but between their two trails passed over head. Someone tell me what these flying stars are, that move at a constant speed every night. I live near the Troup-Heard Corridor and south of West Point Lake, in the town where the famous Valley, Alabama, UFO pic was taken, and know the guys in the local media that covered it then.

This report documents two objects observed in the sky near Lumberton Mississippi on September 17, 2014, at approximately 8:15pm. This may not be a UFO sighting, but a sighting of a very unusual pair of objects so I will let you be the judge of how to classify this sighting. I observed the following as I was standing at the exit door of the trailer I live in. The two objects came from due east and traveled to approximately 210 degrees southwest. They flew at a level flight path of about 30 degrees above the horizon and my impression was that they were a flight of two. It was late dusk with the stars clearly visible and the sky clear of clouds. The two objects were as such: The lead object was a dull orange red of about stellar magnitude 3 which pulsed slightly brighter at about a 2 second interval. The object following it appeared to be an aircraft as it had a white strobe light and I could glimpse red and green marker lights from it. At the midpoint of their travel path from my vantage point I estimate the objects were 5 miles from me. They had an estimated separation of ¼ mile with the orange red light source in the lead. That separation was maintained for the entire sighting. It took an estimated 90 seconds for the objects to traverse the sky from east to south west. I listened for engine noise but could hear nothing, even after I turned off my radio and fan. This is odd as I have lots of commercial and military air traffic in my area. Aircraft even at 40,000 feet always leave a noise trail as they pass over my property. I was hesitant to make this report but I have never seen such an event as this! The orange red object did not appear to me to be a normal aircraft. As it was essential a point source of light I do not know what it was. My location is approximately 5 miles due east of Interstate highway 59 exit 35 in Mississippi. I am a retired Lockheed Senior Manufacturing Engineer with 25 years of service in the Space Shuttle External Tank program at the NASA Michoud Facility in New Orleans. I am also a 4-year Air Force veteran who worked on an ICBM launch crew. Bona Fides are available if needed.

Flight of two bright orange lights flew slowly at low altitude from north to south, then ascended out of sight. Then another one that did the same thing. Then a fourth one did the same thing. Could not see the objects - just lights. I have been a pilot for 40 yrs, and have also been an air traffic controller. The lights were not white like airplane landing lights. They were the color of fire. A few minutes after seeing them, I shut off my car engine and the headlights would not turn off. Also that evening my TV sound worked but the picture tube failed. Seen one very large bright light moving South. This object was too low and moving too fast to be an airplane. There were no blinking lights or sound.
