The report, as filed
Flight of two bright orange lights flew slowly at low altitude from north to south, then ascended out of sight. Then another one that did the same thing. Then a fourth one did the same thing. Could not see the objects - just lights. I have been a pilot for 40 yrs, and have also been an air traffic controller. The lights were not white like airplane landing lights. They were the color of fire. A few minutes after seeing them, I shut off my car engine and the headlights would not turn off. Also that evening my TV sound worked but the picture tube failed.
