I was watching the sunrise on my way home and looking at the pretty colors and all of a sudden I noticed some lights just under the clouds. They looked like they where blinking white lights. It looked to have more lights on the bottom like a triangle shape. It was hard to see a object, just lights. It stayed there for a couple minutes and went back up into the clouds. Never seen anything like it before.

I was sitting on my porch smoking a cigarette when all a sudden I hear this extra loud train noise. I then see a bright light cone shaped aircraft with a red flashing light at bottom of cone. The aircraft hovered for a few seconds and then made a loud train noise again and disappeared off.

I was laying in bed looking out of the window when this dull cone stopped maybe 3 miles away in the air. It looked like it was shaped like a cone, and it was glowing a little. No visible lights, it had some sort of aura. I immediately got up to see it closer. It hovered for a couple seconds then it went in a straight line real fast back in the direction where it came. It lasted about a minute and I don't know if anyone else saw it, for I was alone. Couldn't have been a plane, it was too low in the sky, and it was hovering, it moved way too fast and sharp. Absolutely terrifying experience for me.

I happened to look up at a fast moving cone shaped object descending rapidly out of a low hanging cloud. The sky was blocked out by these low clouds. The sun either had already set or was blocked out by these grey low hanging clouds. There was approximately 35% ambient light remaining at the moment of the sighting. The clouds were at 1500 ft and broken. Some clouds were higher some lower but blocking out the evening sky. This object as I said dropped rapidly to approximately 500 ft elevation. It hovered there for 3 seconds then, It flew rapidly to the right, stopped after traveling about 30 degrees across a 180 degree field of view. After traveling quickly across that distance it stopped abruptly, held position for 3 seconds and reversed direction. It flew back in the direction from which it came as it gained altitude. It made several quick upward maneuvers as it traveled never changing shape as an aircraft would as it would turn to, or away from you as it m! aneuvered. It then stopped abruptly again. Hovered for an instant then it moved back to the right, as it very rapidly descended downward out of my field of view. It never reappeared in 5 minutes as I continued to scan the evening sky. I happened to be walking my dog and my dog alerted me to it, which began my sighting. My dog was frightened by the sight and she immediately turned around and headed back to the house we had come from 30 seconds before. It made a very faint humming sound as it maneuvered. It was cone shaped and seemed as though a bright whitish green light was suspended below the cone. It had what appeared to be a bright white light at the apex of the cone. These lights never changed their relative position as it sped around the sky. I am a 66 year old man. I have excellent uncorrected vision. I am a licensed Private Pilot and not prone to rash judgements. I have never made a UFO report before and frankly didnt want to report this one. I don't want attention or publicity for this sighting. Being a Pilot I do Not want to go on record as having witnessed this UFO. I felt duty bound to report this sighting so as to add my report to any others that might be made in response to this sighting.

I thought it was a shooting star (my thought as it entered my peripheral vision) so I got excited and looked at it and IMMEDIATELY could tell that it wasn't a shooting star. It had hard edges to it and there were giant red circular lights on the back of it, with some smaller? (really ambiguous) white light near the red. It was a hexigonal cone shape, with a flattened bottom. It traveled around the speed of a shooting star, which is what made me think what I did at first. It went very quickly from my left field of view to my right and then made a VERY hard and sudden left turn and as soon as it completed the turn, it disappeared. There was a very very VERY unnoticable white blink when it disappeared. Very subtle. So the best way I can describe its flight path was ✓ (but flipped around, and it was more horizontal/parallel to the ground). There was no sound, no sonic booms, no loud engine sounds. It was relatively low to the ground as well, no higher than a mid-alttitude plane. If I had to guess, maybe 3,000-4,000 feet off the ground. All happened I'm about 3-4 seconds and I didn't take my eyes off of it until it vanished, and even still I kept looking up at the sky. I was driving slowly along a relatively straight road so with no body around. So my focus was on the sky for a good couple minutes after that. Didn't see anything else though.

We were fishing at sunset facing west. I noticed a shiny slender object stationary that was a cigar shape at fist but in a vertical position. After about 4 to 5 minutes of being stationary, it rocketed off vertically at a high speed. Had a huge vapor trail following it. It was out of sight within a minute or less. I have pictures of it all. One of the pictures of it taking off you can easily see a dark cone shaped object at the head of it.

I have seen a UFO or I believe so it had 3 lights and it made a rocket sound. The story goes like this my dog was going nuts and we thought he/the dog needed to go to the bathroom so we/me and my sister took him outside and that is where we had heard and have seen the space craft and my mother had heard the sound also and all of the dogs/I have 3 dogs/ started crying and we all ran inside

Standing outside looking to Northwest, saw bright object between 500 to 1,000 feet off the ground, extremely bright, white flying northwest from towards Dayton international airport, banking and climbing. There was no noise, no flashing lights, and moving to fast to be any aircraft or drone. I’ve been around aircraft and worked for the air force since 1976. Could not have been a meteor as stated it banked and rose before going out of my line of sight.

Four circular unidentified shapes noted in the east sky from North NAU Campus. At approximately 55 degree angle from the surface. Shapes occasionally flickered in formation. Approximately eleven professional witnesses noted the sighting. By blocking the light from the sun increased the visibility of the object(s).

I was outside watering my lawn in the dark. Being a pilot for over 25 years, I routinely look at the sky for aircraft. While doing so this time I saw a craft in the East that looked like a rocket with the engine flame out the back but this craft appeared from thin air and traveled at a high speed from South to North and much lower than the airline traffic. It also appeared to travel a perfectly horizontal path, not changing altitude, and then just suddenly disappeared. It did not get dim and fade out or get brighter, it just disappeared suddenly just as it had appeared. The craft was large with a very bright white flame out the back and traveled very low, approximately 10-15 thousand feet above the ground. There was no sound, at least not that I could hear.

I was in my backyard with my dog and looking at the night sky. I could hear the high altitude planes flying overhead. The sky was dark, clear with a few clouds. A dark color, cone shaped object flew over my house, over my back yard and over the tree line at slow speed. The object disappeared over the tree line. The direction of travel was approximately SE to NW. The object was completely silent and there were no lights. I don’t know if cone shape is the right description but it was like a very narrow triangle or very long spear shape. The object was as long as a commercial airliner and in my estimation it was flying at about 3,000 to 5,000 feet above ground level. We have a large airport about 20-25 miles away and a small commercial airport about 2 miles from our house. The object flew lower than any aircraft I usually see flying around my house. I don’t ever recall seeing any night flying in and out of the small airport that is near our house. I served over 20 years in the military and been around many aircraft at night. I also served over 19 years as a police officer and worked near the major airport in Charlotte. I have never seen anything that looked like this and flew as slow as it did without making a sound. We saw an "orange like glow," and at first, I thought it was one of those lanterns that you light, and let off into the sky. But then we noticed that it had a tail on the end. It looked like it was very close to us, seeing as how the orange color was so dominant. It kept getting closer, yet was slowly hovering above the houses...then at that point i thought maybe it could have been a drone since it was moving so slow. The orange color was still present, and appeared to be coming closer. I walked over to get a better glimpse, and within seconds, it turned to the right; and shot off into the sky. very large about the size of the moon but slowly appeared to get larger/closer, got dark before it got near us , there were cirostratus cloud and i was thinking it might of been a plane trail, however it didn't look right , it was pitch black this thing , it still had a bit of sunlight when i first notice , it was a bit fussy on the edge's and looking at it was wierd , it gaved that strange ilusion that you get when you can only see the object from one eye but not the other , however it was far almost as if looking at it for a few seconds started to make my eyes blur out , no sound nothing else was odd , only me and my mother were noticing it, the thing it looks like the most is that strange round japan cloud , but more square and pitch black.

At 3:48am saw an orange, pie shaped object that was stationary. It slowly shrank in size. As it got smaller it turned red and the object looked like a firefly. It continued to get smaller until just a small circle and then gone. It never moved, just became smaller. The position would have been over the Fort Harrison area.

Note: Observer is a trained recreational airplane pilot. While driving in car with wife and infant son at approx. 20:00 heading south on a sparsely populated stretch of road, a bright, solid orange light was observed to the southeast. It appeared to be an aircraft heading toward us with its landing light illuminated, though the light was orange and not the usual white. Also, no green or red navigation lights, anti-collision lights, or rotating beacon was observed, making it immediately peculiar. Altitude was unknown, though if it were a small aircraft, given the apparent size, the estimation would be 3-5,000’. The car was then stopped to make a more careful observation, at this point the object was no more than 3 miles directly to the east. I alerted my wife who was behind my driver’s seat with the baby, and I rolled both of our windows down so that we each had the same vantage point. The object appeared very small, though its true distance was difficult to ascertain. It appeared to be a solid ball of orange light, illuminating and extending outward from the leading edge of which was a fan-shaped swath of dimmer orange light that did not appear to be solid. It was in the sky close to the bright, nearly full moon, which was partially visible from behind a broken layer of clouds covering approx. 80% of the sky. The clouds were thin enough to be translucent to the light of the moon. The object was zig-zagging about very slowly, and was framed through the branches of a tall, bare tree which gave a reference point from which to gauge the object’s speed of movement. As it began to move or rise away to the northeast, it faded into the clouds. I immediately checked the iPhone app ‘FlightRadar24’, which displays a GPS-linked map with the surrounding civilian aircraft that have filed flight plans or are using FAA Flight Following. Military aircraft are not displayed. METAR reports were then checked on the NOAA Aviation Weather Center website for the nearest reporting station not reporting clear skies (KCEF), 23 miles to the south. The report was for a scattered layer of clouds at 12,000’ with a broken layer at 15,000’. A smartphone video was recorded for approx. 20 seconds, though the details previously mentioned are not as easily observable in the video.

A HUGE comet (?) in the western sky slid from north to south at a forty-five degree angle, seemingly slower than normal. The body was a vivid medium shade of green which faded into the golden orange tail ending in the usual white trail until it burned out. I am a truck driver with eighteen plus years watching the skys all over this country and beyond. I was stopped westbound at a red light approaching my final delivery destination and saw the sight straight out in front of me through my windshield in a well-lite business & residential area with countless motorist all about. Also, a little higher in the western sky and a little further away, I saw what appeared to be a small private airplane. Surely, I could not have been the only witness to this dramatic.
