I thought it was a shooting star (my thought as it entered my peripheral vision) so I got excited and looked at it and IMMEDIATELY could tell that it wasn't a shooting star. It had hard edges to it and there were giant red circular lights on the back of it, with some smaller? (really ambiguous) white light near the red. It was a hexigonal cone shape, with a flattened bottom. It traveled around the speed of a shooting star, which is what made me think what I did at first. It went very quickly from my left field of view to my right and then made a VERY hard and sudden left turn and as soon as it completed the turn, it disappeared. There was a very very VERY unnoticable white blink when it disappeared. Very subtle. So the best way I can describe its flight path was ✓ (but flipped around, and it was more horizontal/parallel to the ground). There was no sound, no sonic booms, no loud engine sounds. It was relatively low to the ground as well, no higher than a mid-alttitude plane. If I had to guess, maybe 3,000-4,000 feet off the ground. All happened I'm about 3-4 seconds and I didn't take my eyes off of it until it vanished, and even still I kept looking up at the sky. I was driving slowly along a relatively straight road so with no body around. So my focus was on the sky for a good couple minutes after that. Didn't see anything else though.
