I was then driving from Hermitage Mo to Urbana, MO, and both me and my mother-in-law saw the lights in the northern sky with approx 5 or 6 again in a line. This went on for about 45 minutes. If the bright lights were not lit up there was four sometimes five very small lights looked like a regular star out in the sky but they flashed quickly and moved around, not like an airplane would move, but one second they were flashing, scattered out, then the next, they were in a very lose V-shaped.

Saw one stationary red/white flickering light that appeared and disappeared while it was still light outside. We noticed more and more as time passed—then we saw one large one, glowing red and yellow. The other lights (we counted at least six) moved closer to and away from the larger, which pulsed and flickered as that happened. We all heard a buzzing, humming sound for several hours.

I was on my front porch enjoying the evening sky. In between the Big Dipper and Polaris (from my perspective seated on my porch, it was to the right of Polaris and to the left of the Big dipper), what I originally thought was a star began to significantly increase in brightness. It then began moving slowly downward in relation to Polaris and the big dipper. It then began moving slowly left at 90 degrees toward and below Polaris from its downward movement before fading completely. I can't say for sure that it wasn't an airplane, but it appeared too high for landing lights, and it was not blinking.

Two bright stationary lights in the sky. Thought they were planes but they weren't moving and seemed fairly more bright than usual air craft lights. After several seconds lightning discharged within the clouds wear the lights were. Possible landing lights on approaching airliners?? PD

I was coming back from the gym with my mom and as I was one house away from home on the driver's side was a bright blue light. It was very small so it had to have been very high up it was almost zig zagging in one direction toward San Diego as we pulled in to the driveway the object became changing direction now moving higher in the sky now instead of going toward San Diego it was coming toward our house but still very high in the air I could not see a shape only a bright blue light. I then ran inside to get my dad out of being scared he also witnessed the blue light now still coming in our general direction, moving at a steady pace we watched it for about 10 minutes as it got over our home it stop and descended up higher but still over our home until 5 minutes later it had fully descended up and disappeared . Later in the early morning hours, I was still awake, watching a movie it was 1:00 am now everyone was asleep except for myself when there was a power outage in our whole town I thought it was just our house so I looked outside I couldn't see any lights but I could hear doggs barking. I called 211 who then asked me to call Edison and that was at 1:11am I reported the power outage to then through their automated system and on their recording had said that the outage had happened at 12 midnight I had only had no power since 1am . I hope you guys can make sense of this cause I can't when the power went out I was truly confused from the whole experience. At 0520, I observed a bright flash on the western horizon about 25-30 degrees above the treeline. It slowly flashed, disappeared, flashed again repeating itself as it slowly traveled across the bottom of Ursa Minor, Leo, & Jupiter, heading south. My initial thoughts were that this object was tumbling and catching the moon's light every 30 seconds as it rotated thru space. I observed it flash 5 times before I lost it. Objects size appeared about the size of Jupiter (as viewed from Earth) & it passed in front of it. Whatever it was, it was very large & moving on a predictable course. Possibly a large satellite, rocket body, or space debris.

In the early morning, at about 9:05am, bright clear day. A slightly diagonal streak of light that looked silvery, like a reflection on a single strand of spider web. The light moved from top to bottom, like a reflection. Only one other person walking by saw the exact same thing. Nothing other after that. During the rocket launch conducted at Vandenberg AFB--located in California, my sister and her boyfriend reported a few mysterious lights were observed flying around. I included the video footage posted by the local news station which has some of the light activity. At about 10:30 MDT, I witnessed two solid lights flying north over the Sapphire Mountains. What I found intriguing was that the lights were positioned in front and behind what was obviously a conventional aircraft with flashing red lights. As they approached due east of my position I noticed the sound of a helicopter preparing to take of from a nearby airport. The two objects and the airplane kept travelling north with the airplane closing the gap slightly to the object in front of it. The object in the rear seemed to maintain the same distance the whole time. As the three craft continued to a northwest position from me the helicopter took off and flew directly toward them. At that time, my view became obscured by distance and trees. At the time of this sighting the weather was partly cloudy and in the 40's. Witness provides no contact information. PD

I have never reported any type of ufo before so this will be my first time. I live in the city of Spokane by the college campus of Gonzaga. I stepped out onto my front porch as I do often on a clear night and look up at the stars. Instantly I noticed a very bright star to the south that at first seemed stationary but then started moving across the sky due north. It looked like a very bright star much bigger then any satellite but had no lights that a aircraft would possess. It traveled for maybe 5 seconds before stopping I expected at this point to be able to recognize the object but at that point it took off directly straight up shrinking in size and then disappearing. I don't know what else to say except this was no satellite no aircraft or a illusion the object traveled far enough and definitely went straight up to rule out a illusion.

Tuesday night, I was driving home from school on Van Buren blvd and all of a sudden a light appeared in the sky--out of nowhere and very low to the horizon. It looked like a star appeared out of the of the sky which was not there before. As soon as it appeared it stopped for a second as if it was completely still, then it proceeded to shoot down towards the Earth with extreme speed and disappeared into thin air before it 'hit'. What made this stranger was that shooting stars are normally above you and not super low like that. It was suddenly there then suddenly not.

We were sitting in a parking lot talking when we noticed a light, it was relatively cloudy. It started off as a dim speck, stationary, then grew about 10 brighter and started moving west at a downward angle. Blue, white and red lights could be seen pulsing wildly. 3 sightings in the past month near the same area.

I was driving on interstate 205 in Tracy, California, heading towards San Francisco, when I saw an extremely bright blue light flying very fast towards Livermore for about 30 seconds until it completely disappeared. It was just a solid blue light, nothing flashing.

At about 4:16 p.m., I was facing south west, when I saw yet another ball of light moving around the sky. It stopped, shot out a ray of light, and then darted around the sky in impossible fashion for about 15 minutes before it went away. During the time of the sighting which would between 4:16 p.m. and 4:32 p.m., a 4.9 magnitude earthquake hit 3 miles outside of Wasco, California, at 4:22 p.m. which was approximately 20 miles from my location.

I viewed a group of lights in various triangular or rectangular formations from 3 to 8 craft hovering in the same spot for a solid 20 to 25 minutes. The objects were suspended over the Bay between San Rafael and like Berkeley. The only movement of these objects was a slight change of shape from a perfect triangle to a more skinny V shaped triangle with 2 lights almost touching each other on one end-almost like a tweezer like formation. Sometimes the lights would rotate around each other and change positions. There was 4 or 5 main objects in this formation. Unfortunately you pretty much needed to see this through binoculars because the lights were dimmed down pretty low but all of these 3 to 8 lights were definitely interacting with each other and for a solid 20 minutes this formation was visible from like 9:30 to around 10 P.M. I was getting tired of holding the binoculars watching this for so long. There was no flight path to these objects-the longest hovering formation I've seen. I was not gonna say anything but this is the 4th night in February I've seen the lights-the other nights being 2-04,2-06 and 2-15.
