I was on my way home around midnight; and as i entered my neighborhood i saw a bright light hovering over the houses, but it was way off in the horizon. It sat, didnt blink, and as i tried to find a proper place to pull over and record it began to slowly move foward and eventually going behind the treeline amd other houses. Le 11 novembre 2016, aux alentours de 22h00, un témoin observe le ciel depuis l'extérieur de son domicile situé à Villeneuve-les-Bordes (Seine-et-Marne). En direction du nord-ouest, à gauche de la constellation de la Grande Ourse et à une élévation estimée à environ 60°, il repère un objet lumineux fixe, semblable à une étoile particulièrement brillante. En portant une attention accrue à ce point lumineux, il remarque que celui-ci présente de légers déplacements en zigzag, sur une faible amplitude angulaire correspondant à environ 10 à 15 cm à bout de bras, alternativement de gauche à droite, puis inversement, avant de revenir à une position proche de l'initiale, bien que légèrement décalée. En dirigeant ensuite son regard vers l'est, le témoin repère un second phénomène présentant des caractéristiques similaires : position en altitude, apparence stellaire, et mouvements légers et irréguliers. L'observation prend fin alors que les deux PAN sont toujours visibles. La durée totale de l'observation n'a pas pu être précisément établie. Le témoin a également signalé d'autres observations similaires, survenues à des dates antérieures et postérieures à celle du 11 novembre 2016. L'observation analysée dans le cadre de la présente enquête concerne spécifiquement celle du 11 novembre ; des éléments explicatifs relatifs aux autres occurrences sont présentés en annexe. Le cas est de consistance* moyenne : un seul témoin mais de nombreux éléments fournis et des photos visant les observations postérieures. *selon les critères du GEIPAN, la consistance est la quantité d'informations considérées comme fiables et objectivées, recueillies pour un témoignage. L'enquête a conclu que le 11 novembre 2016, le témoin avait observé deux étoiles, l'étoile Véga et l'étoile Capella (voir le compte rendu d'enquête). L'écart de l'ordre de 30° en hauteur angulaire pour Véga (entre l'estimation du témoin et la position réelle de l'astre) ne parait pas rédhibitoire pour une estimation de hauteur angulaire rapportée de jour, alors que les phénomènes ont été observés de nuit. L'étrangeté perçue repose sur l'impression de bouger des PANs (déplacements très rapides et brusques aussi bien à droite qu'à gauche, des zigzags et revenir à leurs places initiales à quelques « centimètres près », le tout dans un espace de 10 ou 15 cm visuellement), qui peut s'expliquer par un effet autocinétique. Le cas est classé « A » observation de Véga et Capella. [GEIPAN classification A — Astronomique]

Sitting outside. A red light streaked through from west to east. Changed to green. Dropped down. Shot right. Hovered towards Oakland area, then dropped down out of our sight. It moved faster than the airplanes that fly over here.

We were outside.a red light went by us from West to east which turn to green this thing dropped down then shot to the right then hovered and went towards Oakland. Which was south. This object moved so fast!! It was totally different then any plane which flies over here!!

On 11/11/2016 at approximately 6:50pm MST, I was aboard Southwest Airlines flight 422 (Boeing 727-700) from Phoenix, AZ to Sacramento, CA. About 15-20 minutes after the flight left Phoenix at 6:30pm MST, a bright light appeared on the left side of the aircraft. According to the flight parameters available via the onboard Wi-Fi, the plane was flying at 528 mph (ground speed) and ay 38000 ft. The light appeared off the left side of the aircraft and appeared to be about 1,000 feet away. The light would move up and down vertically throughout most of the flight. Even as the plane adjusted course, the light did not vary. Other stars in the background appeared to move as the plane headed towards Sacramento. As the plane descended for landing and went through the cloud layers, the light faded in and out. About 40 miles out from Sacramento, the light suddenly disappeared.

I work at the airport and while sitting in my vehicle, facing east I saw one bright light above and east and to the south of Ensign Peak (elevation 5,417 ft) and at first assumed it was a car at first glance. So, I turned on my spotlight and shined it in that direction. Flicking it on and off four times. The light dimmed to an intesity of a car headlight of a distance of approximately 3 miles. I was able to determine the distance based on Beck Street, which is below Ensign Peak. As I watched the light it disappeared and then reappeared to the north of the peak. It then turned off. This is not the first occurrence of this or these lights. I first noticed them in April of 2006. A large bright light, very bright would appear west of the airport, at the north end of the Oquirrh (pronounced oker) Mountains at about an altitude of 10,000 feet. And fly directly over the airport. This altitude was determined by a FedEx MD-11 that departed and called out his altitude of 10,500 ft. And fly in the area and was dwarfed in size by the light. These lights travel west to east and fly directly over Ensign Peak at a speed similar to a Cessna 182. As the light flies over in begins to descend in a straight down path approximately 10-15 miles east of the peak. This is a monthly event. These begin over the Keennecot smokestack and the do not have any identifiable type aircraft lights. Just a solid white light. I am very familiar with aircraft. I grew up on or near Air Force bases (father was in the Air Force and I was a member of the Civil Air Patrol. I currently work law enforcement (27 yrs) at this location.

I was driving north on A1A in Highland Beach area. I looked a bit west toward downtown W Palm Beach. I saw a long white light hanging in sky. Not across but up and down! There was a plane above it in the distance, I thought it was towing something. I looked over as I drove. The plane continued to the east but the light just hung in the same spot. It was maybe 3-4 inches in the distance. Quite big. It just hung there...not moving in the sky. Then from the bottom of the streak, it burst into 4 fire balls and was gone. Just disappeared. I have looked for reports of satelite launches and meteors. Nothing found. There was a meteor shower going on at that time. They usually go across sky. Was this one that burnt up in atmosphere? I have seen meteors but never anything like this! Did anyone else see this? Witness indicates that the date of the sighting is approximate. PD

We all saw what appeared to be floating lights. They weren't white, more of a yellowish tone. They appeared to be moving from the north towards the south and maybe at times, southeast. Possibly 200ft from the ground. They were low. At first we thought they were lanterns, then we thought helicopters, neither. They sort of fell to the ground and Or out of sight. Really weird and not something expected. The were in a regular flight pattern, as we don't live too far from a small airport. These were not planes. No noise. Maybe drones, but 12 at a time… Anyway, was hoping someone else noticed this occurance? We will be looking this evening, just in case.

I was driving home from my friends house and I turned down first street and as I was going down the street I saw 3 bright yellow lights in the sky going toward each other and then away from each other. Then I saw a fourth one closer to me that heading in my direction, I went to go get closer to it and I lost it.

Light appearing every other night around my area of residence. I've seen this occurrence twice so far. It's a very bright and flashing light source in the night sky; purple, blue, green, white; extremely vibrant colors in no specific order. Movement is sporadic in speed and direction; however, it never leaves the same sector of the sky. It's behavior is not that of a helicopter, plane, or Drone (it stays constantly moving for an hour+, that's when I have seen it; I do have to go to bed and am not able to watch it all night all though I very much long too.) Movements are not in great spans. Very subtle; I had to carefully watch it in order to assure myself it is really moving and it wasn't a figment of my imagination. As I currently just continued to watch it a bright blue/white ball/streak fell out of the sky and behind a tree about 15 miles away; half the distance of the light in the sky. (please don't think this is a hoax) We suspect that the object may have been a star. PD

Three friends and I were walking at about 9:50. Not long after that, the area around us was lit up by a green ring. This green ring/light only lasted only 2 seconds. After the green light, I looked up and saw a huge green ring,.. Only higher up and smaller. .when we saw the there was loud pop, almost like lightning. .I didn't have any more experiences, but the same friend friend who saw the small ring heard more pops and saw some strange creature as she was walking home.

There was a green light that lit up al around us. It made a pop sound, kind of like lightning but different. My friend looked up right after that and saw a very large green ring. She claimed it was the size of a baseball diamond. I looked up about 20 seconds later and saw a ring higher up and about the size of a penny. I heard two more pops but no lights or rings were seen. A strange sighting of something unknown was later seen by me. It seemed to be kind of like a strange dog but larger. Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides little contact information. Approximately 9pm on November 10, in Lake Tansi Village, Tennessee, I was outside looking toward the North/Northwestern sky and saw a blinking red light, it was very red and very bright. I could see it through the tree line in the distance. At first I thought maybe it was a light you would see on top of a radio tower although I have never seen a radio tower light in that direction. Then the light appeared above the tree line followed by another very bright blinking red light about 5 seconds later directly in line behind the first light. They would blink alternating about one second apart and did that the entire time I saw this. I noticed it coming toward me. As the first blinking red light passed overhead I saw only the light and heard no sound. The second light seemed to be following the exact same path as the first light and when it was overhead I could see what looked like a normal aircraft with wings and the blinking red light on the nose. I'm pretty good ! at estimating distance and would guess it was a few thousand feet in altitude. The distance between the red lights were probably 3000-4000 feet. They did not look like they were independent of each other, it appeared as if the first light was guiding the second light/craft or almost like a tractor beam. Between the first light and second there was nothing visible, just dark sky but seemed to be attached to each other. It proceeded toward the South/Southwest and then the first light banked to the left about 60-90 degrees and the second light did the same as if it was attached to the first light. At that point I lost sight of it behind trees. I estimate it was traveling 300-400mph. When I first saw both lights I pulled out my phone and recorded it as it came toward me and overhead, but when I played back the video, there was nothing.

Yellowish orange light appeared in the night sky out of the blue. It wasn’t a plane, but we couldn’t make out shape, then it dropped 2 distinct small red circles and a smaller third barely distinguishable. It disappeared, and about 2 seconds later another one followed but this one did not release anything,it also disappeared at about the same distance the first one did. My son and I were outside approx 15 minutes ago, and saw a helicopter chasing a light in the sky. The light was moving so fast that it was difficult to discern a shape and therefore unidentifiable as anything other than a fast-moving light. The helicopter climbed and sped up to match altitude and speed of the light. The light disappeared from our view. It seemed that the helicopter lost sight of it as well because it seemed to slow down and fly in what I can only call a "searching manner". Then it too left our view, but we could still hear the helicopter for a few minutes. We scanned the sky visually for a few more minutes and then came back inside...a bit shocked, I might add.

Upon returning from the grocery, I noticed amber lights in the sky as I carried groceries from the car. They were travelling northwest to southeast and made no sound. I counted 23 of them. They weren't keeping a strict formation and some were stragglers. I reported them to CBS 4. I've not heard back.

My wife and I observed a hovering lighted object for 1 hour over the north sky in Washington, PA. It was bright and hovered in one position for 60 minutes. Multiple aircraft circled and observed aircraft. It disappeared suddenly. I am an Emergency Physician and well trained observer and this persisted for over an hour and was in Pittsburgh international airspace and multiple aircraft circled the object. Cellular service was disrupted during event.

Going to store. Looked up at the sky and a bright light like a super bright light came out of the west. It stopped at approx 10 to 11 o'clock high from our point of view. It moved to the left, right, and back west. The light came back east and stopped. At that point just looked like a bright star. If anyone saw it at that point they would have thought nothing of it. It was just a white light. No flashing lights or craft body seen. It was silent. We live 5 minutes from an airbase and have military craft practicing around us all the time.

Faint reddish light crossed Orion's belt from first star on the left to the right at very high velocity, seemingly at least above the stratosphere. No discernable shape, but rate of speed alone faster than any comet or asteroid. Light faded out shortly before clearing the Orion constellation. However, movement beyond the faint point was still visible for few more seconds.

Strange hovering light due East of Madison, SD. Sighting occurred at the dosc golf course at 7th and Blanche. Light hovered in the far distance and did not move. Light changed from red to white, back and forth. Noticed the light and took video. After video was take, a 2nd light appeared and went towards the light. It neared the first light and then veered away from it, out of sight. The light was still there at 23:45.
