Three lights, spaced about 2 minutes apart, heading from South east to north west of Airdrie. First light was a sapphire blue, then the next was red, and the third was white. Seemed to be airplane height, but no noise. Lights crossed an airplane flight path with regular sighting of planes (every 10 min or so). Lights kept going, and didn't seem to hit the horizon. I am a medical professional and an amateur pilot. I was letting my dog out and looked up and saw a bright flash of light. I thought initially it was a strobe from a plane, but it was really bright. So bright, it made me stop to see if it would do it again. I tried to predict the path assuming it would be in a straight line as an airplane would fly but it showed up in random locations and distances from its previous location. It seemed to "swoop' from one position to another and would flash at each new position. This happened over 10-15 times moving further away each time over a 3-5 min timeframe. I was facing east at the time of the initial sighting and was facing south at the last point of visual contact. It was an incredible distance to travel so quickly and moved like nothing I had ever seen. At one point a smaller constant light that looked just like a star moved toward the object slowly at one of its stopping points. The bright light immediately moved to a new position further away. Le 21 août 2017 et plusieurs soirs de suite un témoin constate dans le ciel le passage d'un point lumineux blanc avec une luminosité variable. l'objet a toujours la même trajectoire générale, mais se décale légèrement au fil des soirs. D’étrangeté assez faible et de bonne consistance (plusieurs témoins, mais témoignage unique et précis, vidéos du PAN), ce cas s’avère être une méprise avec le satellite Telkom 3. (voir le compte rendu d'enquête). La description fournie par le témoin évoque fortement un satellite en rotation rapide sur lui-même, ce que confirment les vidéos du PAN. La recherche du satellite responsable de la méprise devait néanmoins répondre à plusieurs caractères précis : passage à la verticale du témoin le 21 août 2017, sur une trajectoire orientée du Nord-Ouest vers le Sud-Est, tout en passant à gauche de l’étoile Altaïr, entre 21h10 et 21h25, puis repasser plusieurs soirs de suite sur une même trajectoire, se décalant au fur et à mesure vers l’Ouest, toujours au même horaire. Un seul satellite peut correspondre à cette recherche, à savoir Telkom 3, satellite indonésien dont le lancement par une fusée russe a échoué en 2012 et qui est connu pour présenter des flashes assez lumineux et plutôt irréguliers. Inconsistent rapid flashing light, at the perceptual distance of a star. Some flashes like a flash bulb (very bright) moving NW to SE then slows to single pulsing light at about 15-20 sec intervals, extremely bright for its perceived distance. Slowly kept the 15-20 sec pulses till light weakened.

Looking at it with a scope, it just looked like a redish dot, but there seemed to be an airplane doing a u-turn and kind of cashing after it. The objects had a nice clip going. Saw the first one around 10:41 pm cst. Two appeared right after 10:54 pm cst. Another one around at about 10:58 pm cst. Times should be Central Daylight Time. PD

Sitting on my front porch, I saw in the western sky past the house across the street a glowing red ball of light. There were fireworks heard earlier in the night, so I was expecting it to be fireworks. However, it descended slightly, and then hung in the air. I continued to watch it expecting it to pop like fireworks, but it just stayed there glowing. It then suddenly shut off and zipped off upwardly very quickly leaving a faint white trail. A few seconds later a green glittery patch of lights appeared that then turned into a red glowing ball of light and then it was gone. I thought to use my phone camera I was listening to only then but was too late. The fireworks were earlier in the evening at the golf course behind the house. I didn't hear anything or feel anything like fireworks, but I was listening to my phone at the time.

I was inside with my mother and my father was outside on the porch talking to one of our neighbors. My father called to us "come and look at this" my mother and I went out side. He pointed to the sky and just above the tree line ther were two orange lights moving east to west. The lights were sort of far apart and stayed near the tree line while moving about the speed of a plane. They were gone pretty quickly

Observed a bright light in western sky. Red violet in color. I just happened to look towards the sky and noticed this light sitting still. Just as I noticed the light, it took off very fast to the north. I watched it heading north for just about one second before it seemed to go even faster and disappear.

Around 1 a.m. about 4 lights started flying in formation with their lights flashing in secession. within 5 minutes of the first 4 lights, about 16 more joined and they began flying around in a fluid like motions huddling together and then dispersing. The lights were very high in the sky, and moved too quickly and changed direction too rapidly to be any known aircraft. After about 2 hours they started to disperse a few at a time until they were entirely gone from sight.

I was sitting in my backyard at night and saw what I know wasn't an airplane, due to how slow it was moving, I could only see lights. The appearance of the type of light type was that of a filament bulb. They would slowly appear instead of behaving as LED lights do. They would fade, sometimes almost fade away but then slowly brighten up again, going from yellow to more of a red color, no sound. I just assumed it was a weather balloon but I didn't see much information about those having lights on them unless they were in a busy air traffic area. About 10 minutes after that, moving east to west was what I can only describe as having a lightning bug-like behavior. I'm an amateur entomologist and know they don't fly that high, it was way above the trees (so it appeared to be), I was looking north. The light lasted about 3 to 5 times longer than the typical length of time a firefly brightens up. It wasn't a comet, much too slow going east to west then rose slightly and wasn't visible anymore. Then it happened again going north to south about 10 minutes later. The way it behaved, the speed, I just can't describe it. It could have been around 200ft above the ground, small, moving like a fast flying moth. Very similar to what it might look like if somebody put a blue LED light on a drone and flew it over your backyard at night, but completely silent.

8/16/17 23:07 I was looking up between the Vega and Hercules. (I was sky watching) Whatever it was it was stationary between them. It looked just like a star at first, but what caught my eye was the fact that its light intensity was fluctuating at around five to six seconds intervals. I thought at first it was probably the atmosphere causing the light fluctuation. It did this for approximately 30 seconds. But suddenly it got incredibly bright and it appeared to be getting larger and changing shape slightly as the light intensified. It slowly started moving to the east while its was intensely bright. Then approximately three seconds later, it got dimmer and its speed suddenly increased to an incredible speed across the sky in the same direction. I lost site of it over the horizon.

At approximately 9:05 PM, on August 16, 2017, I observed two stationary red lights, directly west of my home in Johnstown. They were at about the 10 o’clock position and did not move; completely stationary for at least three minutes. They were very distant and appeared as though they were above the mountain range to the west. There were aircraft on approach to DIA, but they were far closer and at lower altitudes. This object (side by side red lights) never moved in any direction. I went inside to get my wife and when I returned 30-45 seconds later the object was gone.

So I live near a military base and I am quite familiar with all the aircraft that land nearby or conduct exercises. I can always hear them I can differentiate weather it's a helicopter, osprey, jet. I can also see their lights on them. This time though I couldn't here a sound or see any wing or tail lights. I'm not one to jump to conclusions, I stayed around for a couple of minutes to see, well, anything. To my shock,there was nothing that I know could of caused what I just witnessed. It was two bright yellow lights in the night sky, when out of nowhere in a straight line they became 15, 25, 30 lights. They were standing still for a while, then they disappeared, and one reappeared and the same thing happened again like 30 new bright yellow lights appeared. They were there for 15 seconds then finally they all vanished. For some reason I kept thinking that it was like a train of lights in the sky making not a single sound and with no smoke or clouds as far as th! e eye can see. We spoke with this witness via telephone, and he sounded to us to be quite serious-minded. We suspect he is a very good witness. PD

Also to the northwest right above the moon there was a cluster of lights shaped in a big skinny triangle. It had lights that would slowly dim then light up again. After all this happen we looked away for a brief moment and when we looked back the entire sky was covered in fog. I have video but it is not great quality. Me and a friend were looking up and we both seen at the same time a light that was flashing, just a bit brighter than the stars and almost had a red tint to it here and there and was moving in almost a triangle form slowly. It was not flashing quickly, like a planes would. The object disappeared behind a tree that was in our way and didn't see anything for about another 5 min. Then we look up again and I don't know if it was a different UFO, but this one was streaking across the sky almost like a satellite looks, almost the same spot where we lost the other UFO, but this was having various speeds and disappearing ever so slightly heading east, north east, and as we were watching it out of the west and south there were what we think military planes looking for this object! There were 3 planes all together, and before all of this there were no planes in the sky! also before these events happened we seen the best shooting star with a pretty blue tail trailing off the end of it. The planes keep going over and around the spot where the UFO disappeared for about another 20 min. I really wish i had a camera with me at the time!

9:30 PM PST 08/15/2017 Clear skies, no clouds, no moon. Minimal air traffic from SFO/OAK and local small aircraft. Naked eye star gazing, looking due East, which is somewhat void of anything bright. Travis AFB is just over the hills from my dark backyard view. The 18 new C-5's have been flying around the last few weeks and more than usual at all hours so I've had my binoculars handy. About 60 degrees above the horizon, looking due East, I thought my eyeglasses caught a very bright light reflection so I stopped scanning and focused on the area. 10-15 seconds later another bright reddish orange long flash and then darkness. I observed this 4 times and it jumped, not slowly moving...it jumped in a zig zag motion and flashed. I alerted my always skeptical gal to get outside to witness and she actually did. She saw a few flashes then jumps so I then grabbed my binoculars. Because it was NOT moving in a linear predictable manner or speed, I could not catch it with the binoculars, only naked eye. It seemed to be heading SE. It was far far brighter than Vega directly overhead and appeared as just a super bright flashing reddish/orange light unlike anything I've witnessed in 45 years of star gazing. About 5 planes traversed the night sky in a normal flight path and speed during the entire observation. I've reported before and this is my 2nd report with a witness. It was NOT a star, planet, meteor, plane, helicopter or satellite.

On August 15th, at 3:15 AM, I had just gone to bed. I was lying in bed by my window waiting to see if I could see a meteor. I had a view of the southern sky. I saw a red light approaching from the west headed east at a very high rate of speed. The object then made a very abrupt U turn and headed back west at an even higher rate of speed. The object came back into view and darted around the sky for approximately 30 mins. Each time a plane would fly over the object would go away or not be visible. When the planes had passed the object would come back. This event lasted about 30 minutes.

Solid white light very far away to the west. It was moving much too fast to be a plane, but too slow to be a meteor. It appeared to rise up from the horizon from the northwest, then gained altitude while heading south. It traveled for about 2 minutes and lost altitude, and the light went out as it was descending to the south, slightly southeast.
