Light over Airdrie (Canada), AB · Canada

A witness account on file, unevaluated. Most of the archive rests here, and honestly so.

The report, as filed

Three lights, spaced about 2 minutes apart, heading from South east to north west of Airdrie. First light was a sapphire blue, then the next was red, and the third was white. Seemed to be airplane height, but no noise. Lights crossed an airplane flight path with regular sighting of planes (every 10 min or so). Lights kept going, and didn't seem to hit the horizon. Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. PD

Held as-reported from National UFO Reporting Center (record NUFORC #135841). Witness text is preserved verbatim, including its spelling; nothing is edited beyond formatting.

Ask for the records

What would the paper say?

Canadian military and radar records answer to the Access to Information Act; historic UFO files are held by Library and Archives Canada. Through Aletheca, the house instrument, anyone can commission the request — filed, chased, and published in the open, refusals included. The draft goes over already written: the records sought, and the date window they would live in.
