Traveling north on Hwy HH my mother, wife, and I spotted moving orange lights in the northern sky. What started as four hovering lights in the north sky, (much bigger than planets or planes, but still seemingly in the distance) soon multiplied into 8 that began traveling in formation from west to east and up and down. 3 than split and traveled back east fast like shooting stars and came to a halt. Shortly after the group in the east disappeared. The group in the west remained and travelled back to the center of the sky where it to disappeared. We thought the show was over but a minute or so after ten 2 orange lights in the center of the northern sky flashed on like a light switch. From there, they all traveled different directions and turned off like a lite switch seconds latter. These lights do not float like chinnese lanterns or move like any airplane. They change direction 180 degrees instantly. All this was seen from my windshield travelling down hh and hwy z from Lyndon station to Adams.

I walked outside and looked up at the stars. Orion is in the south and was a clear morning. I looked to the west and noticed a plane flying overhead, with a red blinking light and flashing strobe. Metro airport is south and west of my house location. As I stared at the plane I noticed something that appeared to be as bright as a satellite, noticeable but faint. I stared at this because the faint light appeared to keep the same speed as the plane, off the left wing. I thought, how odd is this, the plane and light were moving from west to east. At about the 11:00 position the plane and light seemed to converge. I thought this was logical because of the difference in altitude between a plane and a satellite, but the light converging on the plane stopped and stood still for 1 or 2 seconds. Then the light moved again, accelerating West in the direction it came from. I looked at my watch, it was 6:08am.

While driving to Montana, we witnessed what we thought was a falling star ... right after it came through the atmosphere it stopped, paused for 3-5 seconds then zipped straight down to only 500-1000 yards above the mountain in under a second ( like a laser pointer zipping across the floor while teasing a cat ) . It again stopped for 2-3 seconds then zipped well over 7 miles towards our right (south of us only 1/2-2/3 miles from us ) and stopped again. This time 5-7 seconds... it was bright but non familiar glow slightly pulsing. Though it was bright - it didn’t light up the mountain side like I would have thought it should . Like a helicopter searchlight would . Then zipped straight past the horizon line away from us to the south in about 1 second or less . From my experience in the military, there is nothing that accelerates like that then comes to a complete stop ! The g forces alone would crush a pilot ! Drones ( even the! classified ones ) use a propellant and would leave a sonic boom ! Nothing , not a single sound was heard . The mountains, usually loud with ambient sounds were silent. We called this hotline to see if anyone knew what we saw and the guy answering was rude . So we said “Fu*k it” and never reported it . Knowing what little I do about our military I figured it was a program I wasn’t involved with and let it be . While flipping through an old news like I saw the video and report s the government leaked . Seeing the “tic tac “ report it sparked the memories we had that night . So, here I am... on a site of what I used to think were people whom had too much time in their hands .. the same people whom like in the city and when in the country, see a bear and report it to be a Bigfoot . I thought you people were all nuts ! I still kinda do . But what I saw is definitely “an unidentifiable aircraft” ! Most of the other reports I believe are explainable in one way or another . But others are truly unidentifiable. So . Hope this helps your data collection. PS: On another note after reading down the questioner here , the drive to the Montana border was supposed to be only 40 minutes away... but we didn’t arrive there until after 3 ? We stopped to take a leak and change a diaper or two on our youngest . But thinking back I’m not sure why . Most likely I was so puzzled by what we saw we were going slower than the speed limit . We were tired so not sure if that’s anything like “ missing time “. Those of us who have young kids know what I mean .. the whole day is “missing Time” when you have kids . NOTE: someone asked me to draw the flight path and notes about the location when I called some years ago . If you like , I can email it to get a better picture for you .

8:15pm MST Northeastern sky near Andromeda constellation--I thought I was looking at a plane flying across the sky, then I realized the extremely bright light to the left (north) was moving. I noticed it was brilliant white, brighter than Venus in the night sky. After viewing the UFO for the amount of time it takes to smoke a cigarette it “pulled away” the light vanished. I looked again at the sky and the object I thought was a moving plane was still there - either a planet or a star. I had goosebumps over my entire body, when I realized what I had seen. I’ve heard stories of UFO’s flying in and out of Taos Mountain. Maybe they were visiting the pueblo.

At first I assumed it was a high flying plane that was reflecting sunlight. I thought it was odd but didn't think much of it really. After a few minutes I looked up again, not expecting to still see it there, but it was, and seemed like it had barely moved at all. So at that point I started really paying attention to it and noticed it was slowly getting brighter then dimmer and even disappearing from sight completely sometimes. Over the next hour or so it very slowly moved across the sky from the northeast toward the south, never actually reaching the horizon. The kids eventually got bored at the playground, so we moved on to go walk across the foot bridge, and by the time we made it through the trees and into clear skyline, again, I couldn't relocate it. I did attempt to take a few pictures with my iPhone, because it is all I had, but nothing can be seen in the photos.

Clear blue sky out today. There is also a bright almost white object in the sky. It appears to be to the right of the sun when looking up. My family and I have been observing it for about 30 minutes now.

I played perfectly still for at least 10 to 15 minutes. During this time it varied in movement from remaining still,or rapid side to side, up and down movements. I watched it until it moved, somewhat quickly, out of view of the window. I stood up and watched it for a few more minutes until it seemed to disappear.

Alright, I can't really explain it, but I can do my best. I went out to walk my dog and I look at my phone to change the song and set it to some movie OST. Then, as I look up in the sky a large blue beam of light passes over me, this beam as it passed over me, I saw how it was flying very low like at the altitude a plane gets up to a few minutes after taking off. After I saw the beam of light blitz over me, I ran back up my street and to my house paranoid and scared half straight. I was not able to get any photos due to the duration of the sighting, which may be a problem, but can't be fixed due to this.

At 2:00 p.m. today my friend called me on the phone to tell me to go outside and look just below the sun. I went outside to look. I had to cover the light from the sun with my hand to see them, but when I did, I saw two shining lights in the sky. They appeared as stars would appear in the night sky, except this was broad daylight. They didn't move at all, and stayed equidistant to each other the whole time. I don't know how long they had been there before my friend saw them and called me. I watched them for at least a half hour. They seemed to drift slightly to the left of the sun a little, but they stayed in the same position to each other the whole time. They never moved. They looked like stars in the daylight sky. I've never seen anything like it before.

My brother and I were on our way home from a movie. Just as he dropped me off at my place, we noticed these big orange lights moving across the sky. They would appear in the southeast, headed west, and then disappear as they reached certain point. There were about 4 or 5 at a time in view, and they were absolutely silent - no noise at all. My mother, who was inside the house with my father, came out and watched them with us, until they stopped appearing. I didn't count them, but there were quite a few - they all came from about the same place, they all disappeared at the same place. They were pretty, but the silence was so strange - eerie, really. My brother thought they were balloons with candles or lights in them. I disagree. They were too high, and really far away. I'm sure there is probably a perfectly reasonable explanation for what we saw - I'll read about some weird night balloon festival happening in the next town over, or something similar. But for now! , I'm going with UFOs. (Much more fun that way, I think!)

5 yellow lights clustered together hovering over the horizon in the southwest region of San Diego, seen from a hilly neighborhood in Spring Valley that overlooks east county, Tijuana, and the Downtown skyline. 1 light was a bit lower and separate from the other 4. They were nothing like anything I've seen, very bright yellow, 5 times the size of an average star, and they were unmistakeably still, not moving at all. They were constantly flickering, but not completely on and off. Similar to a candle flicker. I waited for them to fall or move but they stayed still so I called my mom brother and sister to come see and we watched them stay still for about a whole minute. Then I went to get my phone and captured the last seconds before they disappeared, one by one. The one that was separated from the four and lower disappeared first. It just started to dim until it was gone. Then the other 4 followed. They disappeared while in place. We heard my neighbor say loudly, "they're gone" so we know at least one other person witnessed them, totaling at least 5 witnesses

I was just East of Modesto riding my bicycle heading East on a rural road after sunset, I notice two bright lights that appeared toward the North (on my left side) about 20 degrees above the horizon. They appeared to be stationary, like a planet or star. The color of the 2 objects was bright white. They looked like Venus at full phase but even brighter. One was directly above the other separated by a visual angle of about 1 degree, a little larger than the width of the full Moon. They remained bright for at least 1 minute and then gradually faded to two points of light in about 20 seconds, and then disappeared. When they were fading they appeared to be a point of light surrounded by a bight gas ball. Both were of the same brightness as each other during the entire observation, including when they faded out simultaneously together. Some were red, orange, blue and could change colors. All the dogs in the area were going crazy. This is the first mass sighting I've ever seen, and it was just a couple days after seeing the bright orange light hover across the sky. Will keep updating if I experience anything else.

I am not exactly sure what I saw, but it was a grid of red lights (20-30) filling approximately 1/4 of the sky outside my window in what appeared to be a pattern. There was also a very strange symmetrical cloud formation that was slightly illuminated by the lights, and it appears the clouds had been precisely cut into a pattern of diamonds. As I watched, the lights faded away along with the noise. I have tried to come up with an explanation of what I saw, such as reflections, etc, but I cannot. Female when outside to smoke cigarette. Noticed a red and green flashing light in the air. High, suitable plane height. It flashed slowly from red to green, and back again for several moments. Female called her boyfriend outside to look. As he got outside, it went to red only and then suddenly dropped immediately straight down and out of view at high speed. Much much faster than a landing plane or a helicopter could safely do. Worth noting that not long after a legitimate plane flew across the sky at normal plane speed with normal blinking lights. I was coming at 7:45 pm from the grocery store. I was walking to my apartment carrying a water pack so I stopped to rest and looked up when I saw 3 lights twinkling just like an airplan, but were moving erraticaly. As if they were 3 separate objects. They were fast and looked extremely close to me. I took video because it is not the first time of sighting these kind of lights.

I am a pilot and aircraft owner. I had to go to Tennessee on Wednesday for a service call for work. I departed from my home airport at Essex, Maryland, at 6:30am, just prior to dawn in a clear, still morning. About 20 minutes into the flight, I was over Liberty Reservoir, headed toward Frederick, a couple of minutes before sunrise, and I saw two white lights hanging in the sky in the distance directly in front of me. Not unusual to see inbound or outbound air traffic for BWI or Dulles, I didn't think much of it. I am aware the eye sometimes plays tricks on us, when it comes to airliners; sometimes they seem to be just floating in the air, while they're actually flying typically between 180 knots and 240 knots inbound or outbound. That's what these were doing, seemingly hanging still in the sky. Plain white lights. If I had to guess an altitude and distance, I would say 10-15 miles away at about 6,000 to 10,000 feet. Then one of them started to move. Up and away toward the northwest very quickly, growing progressively fainter and fainter for about 15 seconds, before moving completely out of sight. About a minute later, the second one did exactly the same thing.
