I live in Cottonwood Heights and I was getting in my car to go to work when I saw a bright light in the sky, it wasn't moving, I stayed there watching it for at least 5 minutes and still wasn't moving but I had to go to work and to me surprise the light was on top of the building i work in Sandy, Utah, we all saw it in the same spot for over 4 hours, it never moved until all suddenly began to get smaller and smaller and finally disappeared, I have posted it on my Facebook. Saw a bright circular light in the sky. It kept moving. Was a different color than the stars. More of a yellowish color. It hovered in one area for about 20 minutes then started shifting further away to the right where it hovered up and down and to the left and right for about 45 minutes until it faded away. It had colored lights beaming down in far distance for only a few seconds. Heard dogs barking and a swooshing sound at the end. About 3 years ago I was a tow trucker out of Owen Sound Ontario. It was not uncommon for me to be up and down Southwestern Ontario from the cities on a daily basis. A memory I have kept private for a long period of time is one I cannot explain and have finally decided to report. I don't remember the exact date but it was a summer night. I always listen to music and jam when I'm driving. I wa soperating a GMC C5500 Flatbed towtruck. It was yellow and I have many pictures of it. One night after a day of trucking I was taking highway 6 Norrh late at night. It was either highway 6 or highway 10 as they both lead north to Owen Sound where I could get to my bed for the night. I did not see any flying objects. What I experienced that night was unexplainable. The bwst way to explain it is to ask if you understand what it is like driving at night. For the most part you are in darkness. Except when going through towns or busy roads and intersections that are well lit. I DID NOT notice the light until it disappeared like somebody flicked a switch. One moment my truck was encircles by bright white light as if I was in a well lit city with a spotlight on me. In the next moment it was complete blackness around my truck. I was in shock and surprised so I pulled over. There were no lights behind me. I was not on a well lit road. The light did not scare me however. When I was in the light I felt secure and safe. When it went out I felt bare and exposed The craziest part was the last part of the drive I could remember was being on the busy Kingsway coming out of the city. Over an hour had passed on my clock and I was much closer to home then I could believe. Over an hours worth of driving was behind me. I was further north on the highway. In summary a bright light disappeared and I became aware of the knight itself and a duration of time gone by without being able to recall any moment of it.

Was checking on my animals and heard a strange noise. I looked around to see what it was and assumed it was coming from the highway, but then looked to the sky and seen 2 flashing green lights passing overhead. After a second of watching these lights move around the sky, the noise stopped and the lights started moving slower then stopped completely. The lights were stationary in the sky for a moment, then slowly started rising and stopped and changed from green to red flashing lights, and then they started to flash between the colors and start moving away from my house, and then suddenly stopped. The lights turned off and the ufo resembled a star in the sky (when the stars weren't even out yet) and it disappeared.

At around 3:20AM, we noticed a bright light while looking at the stars on Lake Williams. The light slowly strat to move to the right of us. The light was coming from a height much higher than a plane would be flying and it was moving in a diagonal direction at a somewhat steady pace. An airplane started to come into the area where this light was at a much lower level. As the plane got in closer towards the light, the light picked up speed to where it eventually looked like it raised higher and disappeared.. The light was still in an area that was in our range of view but we could no longer track or see it. We tried to record it but the light was too far to be picked up by cellphone camera.

I noticed what I thought was a satellite but it was not moving as a satellite should. I observed it for a minute or so flitting in a pattern that an aircraft would not move. It moved like I imagine an amateur drone user would. I pointed it out to my husband who also witnessed the same pattern. We called our girls outside, 13 & 12 years old, they also were confirming what we saw. After about an hour, I called my parents and brother who live about 3000 feet due north of us and my brother also saw the same pattern. This was an object that looked like a bright star or satellite that moved in a pattern not consistent with a fixed wing or rotary aircraft for over an hour in the same general area.

A light that looked like any of the other stars in the sky moved erratically. It went in uneven circles directly overhead. Because of its jerky, erratic movements, I suspect it was a human-controlled drone, but why would it emit light like a star?

I was talking on the phone last night and observed three bright stars, thinking that it was wierd, cause I had never seen them there before. I believe mars was either above them or below them, I was facing south, then they started moving. And what caught my eye was their speed and movement did not look like a plan or falling star. The first one appeared to me to moving upward and as it was moving disappeared into the sky above, not across the night sky but straight up, that’s what caught my eye. It was the strangeness of the movement. So then I watched the other two lights, then the second light moved in the same way as the first, straight up and disappeared, and then the third one did the same. I have never seen anything like that.

I reside in Fayetteville, NC, and I live in an apartment on the second floor. I occasionally open my bedroom blinds at night to get beautiful views of the moon & stars. Tonight around 10p.m., I opened my blinds, turned out my bedroom light and laid in bed gazing out of the window slightly to the right of where the moon is usually visible with hopes of witnessing the meteor shower. After looking toward the sky for sometime a bright light appeared and I noticed it was actually hovering over the woods in the back of my apartment complex. I watched the bright light as closely as possible to rule out the possibility of it being a drone being operated by someone nearby, it wasn't. I called my husband to come look and he saw it as well. The bright light hovered for about 30 mins in the same spot and faster then I could blink it disappeared. The moon & stars are not even visible tonight due to the frequent thunderstorms we are having so the only explanation is that it! was certainly an extraterrestrial sighting.

At approximately 22:00 on August 12, 2018, I observed a UFO with my brother and mother. It was seen from a second story deck about 400 feet from the ocean. The light appeared in the direction of the ocean; it was a bright red light. I shifted my body from side to side to try and estimate the distance of the light from me. I was able to tell, based on a beachside restaurant that the light was above, that the light was with 100% certainty out over sea. It was not moving at all, remaining completely still, initially leading us to believe it was a star or planet that was having a strange effect from the atmosphere/light of the boardwalk (again, the light was a very, very vivid red, like a traffic light). After about one minute of observing it staying completely still, it began to move South, or to the right from our perspective looking out at the ocean. It moved very smoothly; fluidly. My brother proclaimed that it was just a helicopter, but I dismissed that because there was very clearly not a blinking light of any kind, and we did not hear propellers. It smoothly came to a stop again after about 10 seconds of southward travel. At this time, I suggested that it could be a drone. Even though it was clearly out at sea by a significant distance, we accepted that this was a likely scenario. Shortly after we reached this conclusion, however, the light went out. As if someone flipped a switch, it was gone. I did not think a drone would do this, and a helicopter *absolutely* would not. I cannot completely rule out that it was a drone, but I must reiterate that it was a fair distance out at sea, as the three of us had concluded based on moving from side to side and seeing that the light not move while buildings right on the beach did.

I was out watching the meteor shower Sunday night. I saw what I thought at first was a dim, yellowish, short-lived meteor straight up (near Vega) tracking north-northwest, and I didn't think much of it. I then saw a similar flash that looked like another small meteor but on the same trajectory as the first. I thought both of these were small dim meteors as they were moving across the sky at a speed consistent with a meteor (far faster than any satellite or plane that I've seen). I then saw a third fourth and fifth flash that spanned equally short distances of the sky on this trajectory (it appeared to vere slightly right during the fourth flash). The object traversed about 30 degrees of sky in about 5 seconds before going out of view. It made no sound.

Roughly a week before this I had this experience. I was outside at roughly 10:45pm, looking up at the sky toward the south east when I noticed two dots of light moving very fast toward each other. Was out watching the Perseid meteor shower last night between 145-545am at the top of our mountain which is approximately 3,000 ft above sea level here in Bryson City, NC. I spotted what looked to me like a very small, star-like light that appeared to be very tiny or far away; moving up & down and in a zig zag erratic motions; of which no satellite or plane is capable to my knowledge. It almost looked like it was shimmying up and around the sky, it looked weightless, as if it was moving in space or through water. My fiance agreed with me that it was in fact moving and we even used a stationary object to judge its movements to and around the sky. It didn't cover much space it just seemed it be in the same general area of sky. Honestly it was so small and far away, I wouldn't have ever noticed it had I not been looking for the meteors. 25 minutes after we noticed that one we spotted another small light moving in the same erratic zig zag movements but instead of staying in one area it went from our right vision in the sky directly to the left, over the course of about no more than 5 minutes. Then disappeared. Both objects looked the same and moved the same way.

I believe sometime in 2018, my ex girlfriend and I decided to drive to Sacramento from Reno around 3:00 am after work..while driving interstate 80 still up in the mountain i notice this floating lights looks like a very bright oil refineries up in the sky around 50 yards from us..i asked my girl friend to look at it in our right hand side of our car up in the sky..i kept driving around 65mph looks like the thing was hovering across from us..then disappear..All of a sudden my girfriend was hysterical pulling my arms and yelling to drive faster..because that thing was behind our car following us..then it dissapear..it took me 4 yrs to report this because it sounds crazy.

Approximately 22:00 I walked out front of my house to lock the cars. When I looked towards the west just through my neighbors oak tree I noticed some very bright lights. I walked into the road to get a better vantage of the lights. As I watched the light I noticed the lights seemed to be moving in a upward direction. The lights started as a few but seemed to just keep coming over the horizon. As I watched the lights move Upward I noticed they didn’t make any noise but were very bright. As the lights continued upward I called my father who lived down the block so he could confirm what I was witnessing. As I was one the phone with him, all the lights seemed to turn to the south “left from their direction of travel”. The speed of the lights seem to be very consistent. What really threw us off was when the first light made the turn it seemed to slow. It seemed to slow to wait the last light to make the turn. I noticed this because of my training in the army... a technique we used on convoys. We continued to watch and take pictures and video until the lights disappeared. We zoomed in on the pictures we took and realized the lights were actually grouped in threes.

Once again returned to the Port Hope Drive - In on August 11, 2018, I'm still kind of shocked reporting this second UFO sighting to you From the same location at the Port Hope Drive In exactly one week later The movie started at about 9:15 pm est Then at exactly 9:38 pm Noticed a slow bright white light crossing overhead the movie screen It was very slow and bright After about eight - ten seconds it just disappeared ! Gone off like a light being switched off That's when I looked at the car clock time It moved from the east heading west very slow I assume some others must have noticed it It was quite bright Hoping others witnesses report this sighting

I live in Moscow, Idaho, and my house faces west. I went outside my house at approximately 9:10 pm Saturday evening on August 11, 2018. I was walking down the steps of my front porch when I noticed two bright reddish or orangish lights low in the sky to the west. One was where Jupiter is normally found at this time of year. The other was at the same elevation as Jupiter but slightly further to the north. Both were of nearly the same color and brightness. However as I looked, the light to the north of Jupiter began ascending into the sky. It was moving very quickly, so much so that I watched for only 2 or 3 seconds before running back inside to call my wife and children to see the object. This was a strange event and I wanted others to confirm what I was seeing. I was inside between 10 to 15 seconds. When I returned outside, the object was still ascending. The light from the object seemed to slightly pulse in intensity, getting brighter then dimmer every second or two. My wife joined me outside but my children did not come out quickly enough to see it. As my wife and I watched, the object moved overhead in the sky as if it was now traveling toward the east. The rate of ascent seemed constant but very fast for an object that was clearly so far away. We heard no sound associated with the object. As it began to move overhead, it started to flicker more significantly than before. It pulsed brighter than much dimmer than before three or four times, then simply faded from our view. If the object was still overhead, it was no longer giving off any light. From my first view of the object to its disappearance was no more than 90 seconds. It was the single strangest thing I've ever seen.

I was in the East Peoria Festival Park. I wasn't the only one there, but I doubt anyone noticed it. I was on the opposite end. I was sitting down on a park bench and looked up to admire the river front and there it was maybe half way in between East Peoria and Peoria. This happened in broad daylight. I tried to get my smart phone ready to record but by the time zeroed in on it. It was gone. It made no sound whatsoever. FYI, I had trouble with your site previously. I tried to log the Cylinder Incident on 07/20/18 and had to re-enter it. I didn't know it got stored twice. It was not a hoax and neither is this. An unidentifiable object was seen about 30 minutes ago by my fiancé; he was on our deck and observed this in the sky west of us. He came inside and asked me to come outside and look at it through his binoculars as this is what he used. My fiancé is 34 years old, is quite intelligent, and owns his own tree service business. He is a pretty down to earth person. As for me, I am 54 years old, high IQ, and am an accountant/bookkeeper. I am level-headed and practical, but do question life and ponder deep things at times. My initial thought was that my fiancé had spotted a drone perhaps, and at first I could see nothing through his binoculars. I did get them focused for my eyes and when I got the object in my sights I couldn’t believe what I was seeing and I thought maybe I was crazy. This object was at maybe 45 degrees above the horizon and it jumped and danced about in an unorganized pattern, within a fairly small area. It looked like a bright “star” that had been attached to a fireworks rocket, with a trail behind it. White and blue light(s) were observed, and suddenly it disappeared from my sight. My fiancé said it had moved behind the trees that were in my view, and I moved about two feet left and was able to see it again, doing the same crazy movements. I looked at two stars overhead to compare them to this object, and they looked totally different – white light, no movement. I was and am still questioning my sanity, and I really don’t know how else to describe this thing. I’ve never seen ANYTHING like it in my life, and I’m sure other people who are sky watchers had to have seen this as well. Let me know if you have any questions.

2 red lights seen moving in perfect formation from east sky to west sky. Looked like helicopters in formation but moved very slow with out noise. Jets we seen flying above. Separation of lights was approximately 1500ft. Sparks-like material dropped from trailing light in Western sky then light went out. Second light stayed on for another minute then was turned off. Went back on for 30 seconds then disappeared. Was not a planet as those can be seen in picture. See similar reports from Tinley Park, IL, for August 21, 2004, and October 31, 2004. PD
