I heard there are supposed to be meteor showers in the next couple days. It has been raining so it was very clear tonight. It was an awesome spectacular sight.

Mesa/Chandler, AZ

After coming home from the store, I noticed a orange sphere on the southwest of my location, I pulled over on the side of the road and parked my car facing west. Soon after I parked I saw another sphere appear next to the first one I initially saw, I tried recording but my phone kept going out of focus. Around 9:30 I saw a single sphere appear far to the right of the two that i was triying to record,a few seconds later two appeared further right, two more appeared to the left of them and then two more! All three of the set of two appear to be equally spaced and parralel from each other. I got some blurry video and a picture where all nine can be seen at a distance, unfortunatelly that is all I got, I wish I had a better camera.

Chandler, AZ

At approximately 8:30 PM on Dec 10th, 2014, while driving home from the Phoenix farmers market, I witnessed 3 orange spheres in a triangular formation. I was traveling southbound down Gilbert Rd, approaching the stop light at Queen Creek Rd, and the objects were to the southwest of my location. They were solid orange and very bright. I continued southbound on Gilbert Rd to Ocotillo Rd and they remained stationary or moved very slowly. At 8:35 I arrived at my home near the intersection of Gilbert Rd and Ocotillo. The neighbors across the street from my house were putting up their outdoor Christmas decorations. I pointed the lights out, and they saw them too. The objects had moved southwest from the original sighting, but were still clearly visible and unusually bright. We watched them for a few minutes and I began getting things from my car. The neighbors said, “The lights are gone,” and a few minutes later, they said, “There they are again.” I stepped out of the garage to look, and snapped a photo with my phone. This time there were two of them horizontal to the ground instead of three in a triangle pattern and they stayed lit for three or four minutes until they disappeared. I went inside and told my father in law about the sighting. A few minutes later, after getting my son ready for bed, I looked out the 2nd story window. I saw that the three orange balls of light had reappeared in a straight line, parallel to the ground but were further west than before. I ran downstairs to get my father in law so he could see them and we went into our backyard for observation. They lasted for about 10 minutes before finally disappearing. I finished getting my son ready for bed and sat on the couch to continue looking out the window. Around 8:55 the lights reappeared and I went to get binoculars. The binoculars didn’t help due to low magnification capability and a few minutes later all of the lights faded out. I went back upstairs and kept an eye on the area through the window. Then at approximately 9:00 pm two lights appeared further away than they before, so I went to the upstairs balcony for a different perspective. I took a few more pictures with my phone. This time they lasted for ten or fifteen minutes before disappearing. At 9:25 a single light appeared in the same area so I went back out to the balcony. The light had moved closer to my position from the last appearance but I still could not tell what it was. While I was observing this light, two more lights which were evenly spaced appeared to the far right of the original light, a few seconds later two more evenly spaced lights appeared to the left, and finally two more lights which were also evenly spaced appeared to the left the other! four. There was a total of seven lights in a straight line. There were three sets of two lights evenly spaced from each other with the original light further to the left. They were above the height of the street lights from my point of view and above the tree line in the distance. They lasted for a few minutes before they disappeared but I managed to take some more photos with my phone. They all disappeared at 9:31 and I went inside. At 9:35 a helicopter flew slowly through the area. I continued to look out the window for a couple more hours but they never reappeared. The objects appeared to be near the Gila River Indian community and south of the Chandler Municipal Airport. Being a former Air force Security Police K-9 handler and living near the municipal airport I know what planes and helicopters look like. These objects made no sound, they did not have navigation lights, they were not Chinese lanterns, or any kind of drones that I am aware of. After doing a bit of online research I found that lights like these have been seen in this area more than once this year and sometimes they occur multiple nights in a row usually between 8:00 and 10:00. I called the Chandler Municipal airport and the Chandler police dispatcher but they had no reports of unusual activity. I will keep an eye on the sky and maybe I will get a better glimpse of the objects next time.

Mesa, AZ

Coming home from my daughter's school concert, I noticed two bright orange spheres south of my location At first, my wife thought that the lights where airplanes, until an airplane passed right in front of them. At this point, we were stumped because the orange spherical lights where bigger than the airplane and a little further south. We continued south towards the US 60 freeway and the lights were still there, I got on the freeway heading west and was able to see the lights again however one more light had appeared to the right of one of the spheres making sort of a L shape, at that point I also noticed that they where around the same location as the Mesa Gateway international airport. We continued on to south loop 202 and around Guadalupe Rd the spheres starded to disappear into itself like if someone had pulled a string from the middle and vanished. I dont know what they where but i know they where not planes, and i have my family as witnesses.

Longmont, CO

Was out front this am when I saw a very bright light traveling south-west in the high eastern sky. thought it was an airplane at first, then it faded to a mere speck- very hard to see. Started thinking maybe it was a satellite, as it was heading into the dawns light. Continued watching it, and it started accelerating pretty fast, then did several circular passes and changed to a nearby location to do the same. Its speed seems to slow down when it flies in a circle, but speed up when it changes location. It was hard to tell if it was a drone, it appeared to be very high up in or above the thin clouds. It was still out there when I came inside to report this.

Loveland, CO

I had just turned north off of Foxtail Dr. onto Rocky Mountain ave. in Loveland's Centerra Shopping area, when I saw a bright orange dot, initially solid in color, appear from the top of my jeep's windshield and begin heading north. At first I thought it was a plane landing at Fort-Collins/Loveland airport but then quickly realized it was moving far too fast to be landing. My next assumption was that it was meteor falling from the sky. However when it didn't dissipate, as most meteorites do, I realized I must be looking at something very special. As I looked closer I noticed that it was an almost semi-opaque but well defined circle... or orb as you people call them. As I looked, the object very clearly changed color to a pinkish color for a few seconds and then changed back to orange. It did this a few times as it flew north but because it was moving at such a high rate of speed, I only saw it change color 4 or 5 times. It was traveling south to north, paralleling I-25 on its west side, appearing to head to Wyoming. I watched it almost disappear into the northern horizon, to the point where you could barely see it. It looked like a faint star very low on the horizon, maybe 5 degrees. I was having a hard time seeing it at this point, so I pulled over and on the frontage road and watched it on the horizon. It didn't move for a long time and just looked like a faint orange star. It stayed there for maybe 8 or 9 minutes, at which point it went straight up and disappeared. I have never seen anything like this and have never believed in this sort of thing until now. I have been unable to sleep tonight because of it and decided I would report it. There was no sound and given how low it was initially and how fast it was going I would have assumed you would have heard a sonic boom or something. I have never seen anything move that fast!

Simi Valley, CA

A round black and purple object flew across the sky from East to West at the constant speed, without making any sound in almost clear sky. It was observed by 3 people - a 39 yrs old guy, working in IT industry and well educated, his 8 yrs old daughter, who is in third grade and his 64 yrs old mom, who has been science teacher for most of her life. Initially, the dad thought it was a helium balloon left free by some kid, but the round object flew at a constant height and constant speed and it flew across the sky instead of going up, as in helium balloon. We cannot recollect seeing any such object before and so we think it is an alien object. We could not take picture because it flew off our sight in 1 minute. ((AADDENDUM FROM WITNESS)) Hi Peter, Sorry, I submitted the time incorrectly. We sighted it on Dec 7th, 2014, at 12:07 PM Pacific Time, which is still 12:07 is 24 hour format. It was about an hour ago and obviously 20:07 hasn't happened yet :). The sky was clear with little clouds at the time of sighting. We were playing in backyard, watching humming birds when we saw this object. First I thought it was a helium balloon because it was about the same size, but its speed, height and direction didn't gel with any free flying balloon. It was flying towards Thousand Oaks which is west of Simi Valley and I am sure others might have seen it if someone was driving in the car or outside looking towards sky. My daughter was first to notice, then my mom, and then me. My mother said, she observed something like fans on either side of round object, but when I looked up it was a bit far and didn't notice anything like that. Hope this helps. Thank you for your attention. ((witness's name deleted)) ((END ADDENDUM))

Hooker, OK

Saw large, bright orb in sky SSW of my location about 75 degrees high. Object had no change in appearance, had no trail, no flashing, blinking, or strobe-like effects associated with it. Object moved in straight path for 5-8 seconds in a N bound direction, then began to curve slowly and smoothly to the west, to the east, and began heading west again. There were several blinking aircraft visible to show reference to what a jet/plane behavior would look like, but it held no similarities in shape, color, speed or movement. As the object moved closer to 80 degrees above me, it banked more towards the west and seemed to increase in luminosity and size slightly. As the object moved into the western portion of the sky, again about 65-70 degrees above me now, a recognizable aircraft (jet/plane) came into view directly above me moving in a WWN direction. It seemed as if the red flashing plane was nearly on an intercept course as they moved closer and closer together. The plane/jet did have a slightly visible chem-trail, and as the object seemed right about to intersect with the plane/jet, the jet turned almost directly W, avoiding the entities intersecting. The object then curved slowly and steadily toward a NNW path, and suddenly vanished about 8-10 seconds later. On a most likely unrelated note, the very instant the object vanished, coyotes all round me began to howl for about 30 seconds. This is common in my region at night, and was probably attributable to the sudden visibility of the moon (red on the horizon) peeking over the edge of the lights of Hooker.

Three white pulsing orbs were seen. They appeared faceted (like a round faceted crystal). At 12 am I saw one large orb. It appeared to be coming closer, directly towards me and extremely slowly appearing to become slightly larger in size. By 12:10 there were two, one small one now closely above and to the right. Then later a third small orb of equal size appeared a good distance to the right The small orbs appeared also to be farther away. The pulsing was beautiful and hypnotic. I found it difficult to break away. I experienced a sense of timelessness and weightlessness while watching the large orb. I finally stopped watching and then looked again at 12:30 to find the positions had changed. A large triangle was formed by the three orb points. The large orb was above while the two equally sized smaller orbs were positioned below and respectively to the left and right of the larger orb, forming an obtuse isosceles triangle. They remained this way until at least 12:45, at which time a marine layer came in and began obscuring the view.

Westchester, California. At approximately 16:44 hrs., I observed three sphere objects, pulsating white lights in a triangle formation, north west of my location. Objects still in triangle formation then moved rapidly side to side and up and down. Objects then changed formation to a straight horizontal line and repeated the same rapid movements side to side and up and down. Objects then fell out of straight line formation and appeared as if they were chasing each other. Objects then descended out of view, and disappeared. The duration of the of incident was approximately fifteen seconds .

Dallas, OR

On our way driving to Dallas on Kings Valley Highway before the S-curves a mile before entering town, my buddy and I noticed a glowing orb 300 ft or so above the tree line. When I first glanced at it I thought it was a star until I realized it was too big and too low to be one. My next thought was a radio tower but the light was glowing yellowish gold and not red and there is no radio tower on top of that hill. As my friend and I drove closer, the light went from 300 feet to to 75 feet or so above the ground in less than a second. That's when we realized this was no ordinary object. The light then instantly went to the ground and stopped moving. The light moved too fast to be a helicopter and was too big to be a firework or flare. After 4 or five seconds, the light moved to the left of the hilltop then shut off. My friend and I drove home later that night and the light was no where to be seen. During daylight you can see everything on that hill top where we spotted the light, and there is no tower or object that emits that color of light or moves that fast.

As i looked back up in the sky, an object flew past overhead. At first I thought it was a shooting star because of the speed but the colors changed from red to yellow or amber. I have never seen anything move that fast in my life. Although I should have been able to watch it for a while longer it seemed to simply disappear in front of me. Not sure what it was but it was definitely different. Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. PD

Los Angeles, CA

I only just found this site, hence my very late posting, and also my best guesstimate of the date in late November 2014 that the event occurred. My fiancé and I saw a craft on a perfect sunny and clear Sunday afternoon that we have failed to find any information on it, and wonder if you can help give us an understanding as to what it was. The craft was a flat metallic grey sphere about thiry-five to forty feet in diameter. It appeared to be unpolished titanium, had no windows, no lights, and was completely silent. It traveled at a constant speed, about the speed of a fast moving Bell Jet Ranger, which we see a lot of here, so approximately 140-150mph, When I first saw it I thought it was a helicopter but I couldn't see any blades. I pointed it out to my other half, and we looked at it as it came right towards us. It was flying at no more than 1500ft, and at a constant speed, passing by in total silence at around 150mph. At its closest it was no more than 1/8-1/4 mile from us. It was a perfect blue sky LA afternoon with low afternoon autumn sun perfectly illuminating it, so it was absolutely clear what it was. We live on the Santa Monica Mountains with a very open 180º panoramic view out over the entire LA Basin, and this craft quite literally flew along Sunset Boulevard. For days after the event we searched the internet to see if there were any other reports of it, but found nothing. What neither of us can understand is how a craft can fly through such a densely populated area and be completely unreported.

At approximately 8:30 pm, I was tending the remnants of a small fire in my firepit. The sky was clear and many stars were visible. As I looked the the south, over the roof of a nearby house, I saw a brightly lit sphere. It was motionless. Since there are many ai4craft in the area, I at first thought it was the landing lights of an aircraft. There was no sound at all and the sphere remained motionless for approx 1 min. It then shot straight downward at an incredible rate of speed. I lost sight of it. It was definitely not a helicopter, piston or jet aircraft, nor was it a meteor.

After a few seconds I realized it was moving rather quickly, and obviously not stationary. Due to the color it was emitting, I noted it couldn’t be an airplane, as the size of the object would be way to large to be an aircraft’s strobe lights and there was no green or white light either. I would guess it was also traveling 2 or 3 times faster than your standard jet based on how quickly it was moving away from me. Then when it was starting to near the end of my visible horizon it took a hard left heading northerly with a slight downward trajectory while also to remarkably double its original speed and quickly went out of view. I would like to stress this light was definitely not a reflection from within the cab of my vehicle nor a light somehow reflecting off my windshield. I would estimate this light was originally flying several thousand feet off the ground, maybe 2 or 3 in my best estimation before making its turn and descent. The light it emitted was rather unusual, as it appeared to have a slightly foggy characteristic about it. Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. PD

Arvada, CO

My mother and I were on our daily drive to go visit my grandma, at the Arvada Cemetery. As we were paying a visit to wish grandma a Happy Thanksgiving, we happen to notice a light that was not a regular part of the hillside. It was seeming to float above the towers up on Lookout Mt. in Golden. We watched the light, which was a orange amber colored oval shape light, dancing above the towers. It moved and got lower to the horizon and shifted to the right. And began to station itself above the third tower. This was not the only thing this orb did, it grew and shrank in size, and would turn off like a light. And reappear again. It would vanish and reappear in the same spot. After viewing it 20 minutes, it was gone! Like it just vanished in thin air! I also went home, and got on the bike to see if I could investigate further. I brought my highest viewing binos with me. And to no avail, was not able to find the light that was over the towers on Lookout Mt. I am trained and UFO investigator, since 2000. I have many hours of field work. And keep logs of what I see each year, and yearly on since today! I have been seeing lots of these orange orbs here CO, and they seem to be apart of the night skies year after year! But this orb was special to have seen. It was the longest I have seen stay in one spot and disappear in thin air! The temp outside was a 55 degrees and the moon was above the mountain as well. Also, there was a few air traffic that flew above the orb, and that was when it turned off and then came back again after the plane had passed. Which was very interesting to witness. My mom and I were so amazed, we knew it was not something of our known knowledge. So, we both said, "UFO!" Couldn't identify it, and therefore was unknown to us. Keep on looking Coloradans.. The skies keep getting more interesting over the years here! Nights are fun to catch these orbs up in the foothills here in the Metro area. Keep your eyes to the skies!

I noticed the large orange orb over the ocean while my boyfriend was driving. I told him to look over at it and he immediately pulled over to check it out. The object was bigger than the size of the moon and sun. We watched the neon orange object change shape and gradually disappear into the ocean. After Thanksgiving dinner, my parents walked me out to my truck. We were talking outside when we noticed an orange orb fly above us. We stared at it because it looked like nothing we have ever seen before. It flew from the north to the south until it disappeared into the night horizon. We were puzzled because it definitely was not a helicopter, or a plane. Immediately after it disappeared, and during our discussion of what it could be, another orange orb originated from the same place. We watched the first one come from and it took the same exact flight route immediately above us. For this orb I quickly reached for my cell phone and began snapping away pictures (I will follow up with an email including all pictures I took). Again, as soon as the 2nd orb disappeared, the 3rd orange orb began its trip. It also took the same route as the first two orbs and disappeared into the night's horizon. I also took a few pictures of the 3rd orb. My parents and I s! tayed for a few minutes outside searching the sky for more, but did not see any more. Curiously enough, the pictures do not all reflect what we saw with the naked eye. Also note that some of the pictures I tried using the zoom feature. And lastly, the orbs made absolutely no noise as they passed directly above us. The other two witnesses were my retired parents. I happened to have my cat on a leash with us, but he did not see it nor did he act unusual. ((ADDENDUM FROM WITNESS)) Addendum to Miami 11/27/14 10:35 pm Event-- NO LONGER A UFO. ADDENDUM to UFO Sighting on Thanksgiving Night In MIami 11/27/14. I am the person who filed this report originally. I am letting you know that we have discovered what the UFO's were, so they are no longer UFO's. I wonder if similar reports like mine could possibly be the same as what our UFO's turned out to be. By the way.... Our orbs were Chinese floating paper lanterns! LOL... They may come in white or in several different colors. I have since ordered some off eBay and we are going to light and release some as soon as they arrive, so that others can freak out the way we did when we saw them. Lol. God bless! ((END ADDENDUM))

Gurnee, IL

At about 7:45pm CDT, leaving my niece’s home after a family Thanksgiving dinner in Gurnee, Illinois, as I reached my car parked on the street, I noticed two very bright yellow-orange lights in the sky. Not sure of their altitude, probably something between that of a low-flying plane but higher than a helicopter would fly, if that makes sense. The lights were in a horizontal configuration, one a good distance (maybe an inch at arm’s length) higher than the other, with the lower object slightly ahead of the other as they moved slowly from east to west. They weren’t big, maybe like BBs, but very bright. I was standing northwest of them, and they could have been a couple miles or so south of my position. Though two very distinct lights, they moved in tandem and seemed in fixed positions in relation to each other, as though connected. I didn’t see anything connecting them, nor any stars between them, but the night sky was overcast and not many stars were visible. No sound, but at that distance, unless they were jets or helicopters, I probably wouldn’t have heard any engine noise. Must admit, I’m fascinated by UFOs, but have never seen one before. However, I know enough to look for the green and red lights required for aircraft, and there was no other color in these objects except for the very bright yellow-orange color, like polished gold. As they moved west, each of the orbs seemed to have some shadow on its rear side, so they looked almost like tightly curled commas. Traveling a little farther west, the top light looked like it had a separate, smaller light following immediately behind it, possibly part of it. The color was so bright and so consistent otherwise that they looked like shiny metal structures. But whatever light they had must have come from them because there is nothing in the area to illuminate them at that height, and the crescent moon was behind them. My first thought was, “Darn, I don’t have my camera with me.” Then my niece came out of the house to bring me something I’d left behind, and we both stood there for a couple minutes watching these lights and trying to figure out what they possibly could be. She is not at all interested in UFOs, and probably thought I was little nuts being so fixated on these objects. The closest familiar object they resembled would be Chinese lanterns, but the bright color was stable, not flickering. Flares? They moved together at a level altitude straight west and I assume flares might drop or lose altitude. They didn’t have a “fuzzy” glow, even in the overcast, but were bright, hard lights. I watched these for approximately five minutes, and they moved slowly but at a perfectly steady rate across the sky, covering a distance of about eight inches at arm’s length. Then they disappeared without changing shape or size, without falling to the ground or anything. They just went out. My location would be about 30 miles north of O’Hare Airport, and the lights I saw would have been coming from Lake Michigan, possibly 10-15 miles east of O’Hare. And again, they didn’t have the FFA lights, nor anything resembling the configuration of lights that I’ve ever seen on commercial aircraft. There’s a smaller airport, Waukegan Regional Airport, about 10 miles north of Gurnee, but the lights were heading west, not north. I drove by Waukegan Airport a few minutes later, and don’t think it was even open. Have no idea what they were. Just very curious.

4 (four) hazy white lights, circling rather quickly in a circle, then each one goes into the middle and starts the process again; sometimes going to the center and then back out to their respective spots, then starts circling, going into middle and back out. What is "odd" to us is that there are no beams (as you might see if there's an event somewhere) going from the ground to the sky...just the white hazy circles continuing this pattern in north end of Hagerstown, MD. November 26, 2014, St. Johns, FL. Saw a fast-moving, brightly lit object moving from the North to the South at enormous speed. Object was spherical, the light cast was between gold and white. Was significantly faster than airplanes flying at higher altitude. Airplanes at higher altitude had clearly visible red light with white lights. This object was a solid gold/whitish light. No hint of red. No flashing. No sound. It crossed the sky from the northern horizon to the southern horizon in less than 60 seconds.
