Getting up at 5am to go to the gym. Trying to wake myself up, stepped out my front door to smoke a cigarette. Directly across my front door in the sky was a very bright star like light that was a bright yellow white. Lower than a star though. It was in a area of the sky that the planes turn around to land at the Rochester airport. So my first thought was it was a plane turning around like they do. Again, this unusually bright star was BRIGHT, kinda flickering and in that plane turn around area in the sky right near Lake Ontario. While watching this bright light it slowly faded away and disappeared. It never moved from its spot in the sky. At that time I assumed it was a plane turning around but 15 seconds later it slowly faded back to its full brightness. It did this multiple times not moving from its spot in the sky for about 15 min. I continued to check on it while I was getting ready it eventually disappeared after a hour of this. I didn't see it leave but was definitely unusual. The sky was clear that morning, no clouds and was still dark. I didn't think to take a picture or thought it was weird at the time because I assume it must be explainable. When I got up the next morning and went to smoke it wasn't there so definitely wasn't a star. Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. PD

I went out to smoke a cigarette in the right corner of our deck of the back yard, while I was standing there I seen and witnessed an orangey, yellowish light that seemed to be traveling from the northwestern to the Southeastern sky. I never in my life seen such a light quite as strikingly bright orange like it was, almost like it seemed to look much like a star burst kind of orange light. It's very difficult to explain how it actually looked like maybe, something like straight out of, "STARTREK". Very strange indeed and it made not one sound. I was expecting to hear something. You know, maybe a helicopter or some kind of airplane type of sound. Nope, nothing of the sort. Zilch, notta! And, it moved with such grace not to mention that it only seemed to be five to seven or so hundred feet up in that night sky. I thought it might have been a shooting star the way that it came into view but, no, just this magnificent bright orangey star burst kind of light that shimmered as if it we're a diamond. I'm sorry, I couldn't make out a body or fuselage. I felt that I had little or no time to go get my parents to witness the event but, my luck had changed when Mom came to the back door to throw out recycling. I called out to her, "Hurry up mom, and come to where I am so you can see what I am seeing." She replied, "I can't move to fast or I'll fall." But, she made it in time to see it traveling south bound out of sight. Wow! What a way to start off the New Year.

I was facing South in my backyard when I saw two round red lights moving from South to North, I watched them for about five minutes. They were less than 30 degrees above the horizon. There was no moon and these lights were brighter and larger than any star in the sky or a passing airplane. They appeared to be coming towards us because they were getting brighter in red color. The first occurrence was two red lights moving together, one in the lower right position and the other in the upper left flying fairly close to each other. After getting brighter, the lower right one dimmed quickly and then turned white before disappearing. About two minutes later the upper left one did the same thing. This was repeated in the second occurrence. The second occurrence, happened about five minutes after the first occurrence completely disappeared. They followed the exact same pattern. There was no pattern to the pulsing of the red lights. We spoke with the source of the report, and found him to be quite eloquent and sober-minded. We suspect that he is an excellent, and reliable, witness. PD

As I kept telling myself, it's just airplanes. The further I walked to my car they seemed to disappear as if they were fading away into cloud cover or overcast. While walking under the lighting it almost looked as if there was overcast. As I got away from the lighting more. I noticed there wasn't any cloud cover at all. One by one they vanished. When there were about 3 left, I snapped a photo. And seconds later they were gone. As I assessed when I got to my car. The lights weren't flashing, nor were they white or blue, as an airplane would be. I was walking with my co workers they seemed it was a bit odd but they had split up as we walked further through the parking lot. I reached out on social media to see if anyone else saw this and it doesn't seem anyone did. As it being new years with people being drunk and fireworks going off... Could possibly be why.

Within a few minutes after the New Year (2019) we were on our porch watching fireworks, when we spotted a strange red light moving slowly between us and the mountains, which is only a few miles away. We ran to the other end of the porch and saw it still drifting across the field and move on down the valley. We then moved to the back deck to see if we could see it further away, when suddenly two more objects (lights) looking exactly like the first light, came into view. They just drifted on down the valley following the first light and then winked out. Then three more red lights, looking like the other three, seemed to swoop into view and drifted across toward the field. One just kept going and winked out, but the fifth one seemed to turn and get brighter and then winked out. The last light never made it as far as the others and got dimmer and dimmer and went out. The lights were not blinking or making any sound, so we knew they weren't airplanes or he! licopters. They all followed the same flight path and the same altitude. The shape of the lights was unusual. They were slightly elongated vertically. There seemed to be something in front of the lights, but it was not discernible. We tried to be objective and wondered if we were seeing those flying light lanterns or some kind of new fireworks. They were certainly strange and we had no idea what they were. A few nights later, we were listening to Coast to Coast and heard Peter Davenport's report and one of them sounded similar to ours coming from Boise, ID. on the same night. The report was of 6 red lights. Our mountain range borders Idaho, and as the crow flies, we're in line from Boise. Hmmm Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. PD

On New Years Eve at around 23:00hrs., we witness what appeared to be a green flashing light hovering in the sky it flashed on and off several times before it appeared to skip to another location quickly in the sky. Watched as it zig zagged around then float off to another location over a park are well lit and noticed the same flashing green lights blinking off and on then rise a few feet up into the sky in seconds then quickly back down then up again in seconds then float off and turn off then nothing

When I originally first saw the light/craft, it went across the sky very smooth, upon further inspection I thought it was a helicopter until I realised there was no noise and only one singular light, I then defaulted to a drone explaination but the radio interference as well as it using from what my hypothesis is a mixture of sound and magnetism was able to float and fly seamless in the atmosphere, when it vacated the premises, it made a large “zap” sound as if from a cliche movie.

While camping at Kalaloch Campground, we noticed 3 VERY bright lights in the ocean horizon. They remained there most of the night. We regularly camp here and have never seen these light or any ships in the past. Locals at Kalaloch lodge said they have never seen this before.

Driving on 95 South at night, the driver noticed a group of orange lights in the formation of the Big Dipper. There were about 10-12 lights and they were bigger than stars, but not huge. The driver pointed out the lights to the 2 passengers. The lights then changed formation to a crooked vertical line with 3 of them making a triangle close to the top of the line. After a minute or so they changed formation again into a straight vertical line. After another minute or so they completely disappeared.

Last night, December 30th, 2018, around 7:15pm (19:00), I walked outside and was amazed by the clear viewing sky above over Ohio. The stars were bright and very few clouds, it was beautiful. So I stood there watching for a short while and then saw something that caught my eye. Just North of Orion's Belt was an object that seemed to be moving erratically and possibly with color. Red, Blue and maybe a yellow. It would circle then move one way and another and then sit still for a while or move to a different spot (not far from the first). Then start all over again in this same pattern. I ran in the house and had my husband come out, he wasn't impressed but did see it and said "probably some guy with a drone or something" and he went back inside. I watched it for some time and then went in the house to "google" it and there are many sightings of this type. Some mentioned seeing more than one at a time. I went back out and searched the sky and sure enough saw another one. This one was further to the North but then moved East.

On December 30, 2018, I came outside Blue Heron Casino after 5:00 am Surprisingly seeing two - three inches of snow Told my wife and Sister to follow in five minutes I walked about 100 yards in the parking lot to the car Noticed it was now a clear night sky Looking east could see the moon and something else Directly facing east at about 5 degrees south Could see a very bright white light It looked quite low a guess about one thousand feet or more ? Standing in front of my car staring at it It appeared not to move yet much more brighter than the moon This bright light intensity appeared on and off As well looked triangular or cone shape Pointing it's length towards the south After a minute or two started my car Than started to remove the snow off the car After some minutes got into the car My wife and her Sister then arrived to get in the car The car was facing east So I had to point out this low bright white light to my wife She then replied -white light on a tower , a drone, and then a helicopter ? I then pulled out heading down the road southward While I was driving looked at it on and off wondering rned west and then turn south again still seeing it As if it was following southward with us Coming closer into Oshawa looked for it - over half hour later Could only now see a much higher star with much less light In fact more round like a star My reasoning and hope to reporting this to you Would be interesting if any other persons had seen this light spectacle * If this was a early morning Venus sighting It would be a first for me in wonder As well could kick myself not using my phone to capture a image Thanks for your time

I was driving home when I noticed in the sky there was a big bright shaped sphere of light in the middle of the dark sky. It was 11:00 at night so it was very dark every where else but in this one area in the sky.

Very bright orange light seen to the north east of Hearst Castle during a night tour. Orange light suspended low over the Santa Lucia Mountains near Fort Hunter Liggett. Light was observed stationary for a few minutes. Returning to the same location 10 minutes later, the light had vanished.

1 by 1 it rise up and seems to be coming towards my way but then once they were all up in the skies, they started ok’ing together in formations and making a straight vertical pose and then it suddenly separated in different directions and disappeared with in seconds

Saw 7 lights over Bristol, TN. The lights were moving in a formation quickly considering their relative distance. We could not see all of the lights at all times except for the one in the center of the formation which was the brightest and would occasionally leave the formation and then return. The other 6 would be seen moving and flashing. They were not very bright but due to their speed of movement appeared to be relatively close to the atmosphere. This was viewed by myself and one other for an hour even getting out riflescopes to view them at points. We eventually shrugged it off as just a satellite or stars. But satellites don’t fly that close together and they definitely don’t fly in formation.

Last night they returned. In the wee hours of the morning. I'm not sure of the time. I woke up briefly and noticed because it was brighter. Bigger. The blinking lights were clearer. It was also farther to the left this time. I wake up a lot every night. This is the first time I've seen them return. This was viewed from the village of Cedar Rock.

I was driving in the car with my husband and noticed a very bright light in the sky that was moving very fast with sparks behind it. It made an arch shape, zoomed off and disappeared. It was unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. It only lasted a few seconds and by the time my husband looked up it vanished.

facing East I saw an large orange light (I thought it was medivac hel.) no sound. I called my sister to look out. phone 20:55 call lasted 1.5 min. a second orange light appeared out of the same direction heading West. When the first light was just above me it made a wide turn and headed North. 3 or 4 seconds later the second light turned North. the first light faded out and the second one did at the same distance. the light was the same brightness on approach as it was leaving. (the light was the thing, not like a spot light) NO SOUND. after a min. a plane came out of the North West and I could hear it, and see the wing, tail, and strobe light.

6 bright white lights in a diagonal line that stretched from near horizon to about 45 degrees above the horizon, north of Malmstrom AFB, Great Falls, MT. Lights mostly stayed in a diagonal line but also moved a bit and at one point, three of the lights higher in the night sky formed a triangle. No blinking colored lights such as aircraft would have. The incident lasted approximately 5 minutes.

Bright blinking lights hovering over the blue ridge mountains. This is not the first time. They do not appear every night. Sometimes they'll skip a night or a few. When they appear they hover in one place for awhile. They'll move higher occasionally until we can no longer see them in the frame of the window. They are usually gone by 11PM. Viewed from the village of Cedar Rock.
