While viewing the Perseid Meteor Shower between 11:30 and 12:30 at night, I saw one chevron-shaped craft gliding quietly across the sky headed north coming from the south-east. There were rectangle-shaped lights on each side of the craft emitting extremely low light. I was able to see it because my eyes were adjusted to the darkness and I was scanning the sky for the movement of meteors. I don't think most people would have noticed the craft. It was grey or black and it blended in with the sky very well.

This is more of an explanation of what was seen than a ufo sighting. We were at Curlew Lake for a week. We were watching the Perseid meteors, from 22:00 to 23:30. I first noticed a chevron of 5 red blinking lights about 22:00. They were traveling from east to west over Curlew Lake, 9 miles north of Republic, WA. I called my son, wife and Mom out on the deck to look. The continued to fly directly over head. It was a flight of F-18 Super Hornets that had been refueling practicing over northern Washington for the whole day! Head their engines, they were night refueling. I think this might explain any chevron reports from probably the northern half of Washington for that night.

I work at SeaTac Airport and was working on a jetbridge around 10 pm. While I was looking skyward to see some equipment, a moving object caught my eye. It appeared to be a flying wing marked on the underside with 4 sharp-angled chevrons with contrasting shading. It was a VERY dark object, with no illumination at all. It was travelling due south at a consistent speed. There appeared to be no organic ancillary movement like a bird would demonstrate; it definitely moved with mechanical fluidity. I could not determine with any certainty the size, elevation, or speed of the object due to the lack of visual scale cues. It was in my field of vision for only about 10 or 15 seconds after which I could no longer detect it in the dark sky. Most strange was the fact that it was directly above SeaTac International Airport. Observer is a 40 year old male in good health.

I was running and heard some people yelling across the street. I stopped and could see three people gathered by the gas station pumps pointing in my direction. I thought I had dropped or done something and kept running. I looked back and they were still pointing and I looked up. I stopped dead in my run and froze. There were around 15 or so orange lights in a pattern moving slowly in the same direction. They all moved at the same speed. I took my headphones out and watched in amazement and then fear. They were quite high, like as high as a jetliner. Moving west to east towards the wasatch mountains. I had to walk forward to keep them in my view so they didn't go behind a home. I watched for almost 10 seconds before they simultaneously faded out. I just stood there and decided to go back and talk to the people at the gas station pump. I asked if anyone had a phone out. None of them did. Everyone was very quiet. They mentioned it had appeared and faded in abou! t 5-10 seconds before they watched me stop and stare as well. Almost reverent that we had seen this. We quickly hypothesized about what it was but after two or three comments everyone agreed it was certainly unlike anything any of us had seen before. We stared at each other and kind of laughed awkwardly. I continued back on my run and it wasn't ten seconds before a wave of emotions came over me and I almost broke down. What had I seen? Why was it so perfect and so coordinated? I have lived in Utah my entire life and never seen anything like this. I have watched as my home is directly in the flight path for the Camp Williams training base with military helicopters of every kind and this was not anything I had seen. Morin have I ever seen anything moving west to east as this would be exactly perpendicular to the landing pattern of the dozens of commercial flights that line up over my house to descend into Salt Lake International airport. I was white as a ghost when I got home! and my wife askednif I was okay. I told her j felt like one o! f those crazy people in the movies and documentaries who go to their death bed standing by what they saw. That is me. I saw what I saw. I am not crazy. I am not mistaken. I am a God fearing Christian (Latter day saint) and I cannot deny what I saw. Chinese rocket re-entry. PD

At just before 9:30 pm in California City, California I observed a large aircraft moving very slow coming from the west very low with bright lights. It looked long with a bright light and a red smaller light. It flew over Cal City Blvd. very slow and hovered a moment then vanished over Castle Butte. Re-entering space debris. PD

I have seen many strange unexplained objects moving in the night sky for years, only because I like to star gaze. But I have never seen anything like this and so up close. It was a perfectly calm and clear early morning, I was taking my dogs out to do their morning duties, (I get up very early because of my work schedule I start at 4:00AM) when I looked up and out of the corner of my eye, to the southeast, I noticed a light. When I turned and focused on it, it was moving silently northwest, completely void of audible sound. My dogs were oblivious of the craft. This craft was very close, the best way to describe it, was if you were to take both hands and hold them above and in front of your head about 12 - 16 inches apart, that is how large it looked. It was a quarter moon crescent shape (as far as I could tell by the possition of the lights) and had 7 amber/orange lights on the forward moving part of the craft. We have some very tall, large pine trees in our back yard, and I had to walk to the north to look past them when it flew by and over. It all happened in a matter of about 30 seconds. My mind was racing trying to comprehend what I have just seen. I know what I saw because I am a believer, but my mind was telling me differently. I was trying so hard to debunk it in my head. So many different explanations were going through my head. But I couldn't explain it. I hurried my dogs up and by the time I was back in the house I was shaking. I don't get shook, I'm 6 foot 2, 300 lbs. But this got me going. Now it gets even more interesting... The following day I am on the beginning of my 5 day off shift change. I am doing my normal early morning rituals to stay on schedule, letting the dogs out so on and so on, etc. etc. The first 2 days off were uneventful mornings for star gazing. It was cloudy and overcast. But on the third day it was very clear so I was looking up and about like a mad man trying to see another UFO. To my amazement (because I was just hoping not really thinking I would see anything) I saw to the southwest, towards Milwaukee, very high in the sky 4 objects moving about. These objects looked like stars but were moving in all directions. I kept an eye on them and scanned the sky with the other and there it was, the same object I saw 3 days earlier but much farther away. It was to the northwest, towards West Bend. This time it was moving very erratically, up, down, left to right, in circles and in a figure eight type pattern. This time it was about the size of a pea because I believe it was much farther away. I watched it for about a minute or so, then it moved very quickly to the north and just faded out of sight. I thought this may just be a drone but for as fast as it moved and with no sound I have to rule that out. Source of report indicates that the date of the incident is approximate. PD

We were watching a fireworks display when I noticed a white line high above the fireworks. At first I thought it was an ember from the show. But it never burned out. It was moving slowly in the sky. Then it stopped. Shortly after it stopped, another line appeared in the sky, but this one had red lights. It also stopped, but began to go to the right across the sky at a quick pace and then it stopped. Then it moved back to the left and stopped. It was almost as if they were watching the fireworks display because when the show was over they left the area going toward the west. I focused mainly on the red one because of its color. It looked like a boomerang shape with a brighter center light. The other lights were also red, but dimmer. It made no sound and when it moved, it moved quickly. Because they could stand still in the sky, I knew they couldn't be airplanes. We were facing west. They seemed to appear out of nowhere but hung around for about 15 minutes. The red one moved around more than the white one did. They both did stop and remain in one place for a while. When the fireworks were over I saw the red one leave the area going west. I did not notice when the white one left. They were silent.

After driving home from work I saw a chevron shape figure fly over my car. The craft changed the colors of the flashing lights like no other spacecraft I have seen do before; from lime green, blue, red, purple, and to transparent orange. (Flashing lights) The object also seemed to have been communicating to other crafts around, because I would see white flashes back to the shuttle every so often. We have requested a copy of the video. PD

On my way to I-95N from Conway, South Carolina, my GPS kept rerouting and taking me down back roads that seemed to be all farmland (cornfields specifically). It would not allow me to adjust the route to return on the main roads I had taken to get there originally. There were very few homes or lights. Since there were no street lights, it was very dark, which made it easy for me to notice the round soft blue light hovering eerily behind the treetops. My window was down, and I was travelling approximately 25mph at the time. There was no noise whatsoever, besides the sound of my vehicle, even as the light began to move out into sight. I asked my friend what she thought it was, but neither of us were sure. Something about the silent movement, and the placement of only one light on the front (no blinking lights as would be expected on a plane or helicopter) made it difficult to take my attention away from it. The movement was very smooth and precise as it slowly came into full view, just above the trees to my left. So low in fact, it appeared to be touching the treetop. It was chevron shaped with the little round blue light on the bottom front. It appeared to be black in color, and very flat. Portions of it seemed to be transparent since the blue light remained visible but slightly distorted as it glided slowly across our path. It was about the size of two or three standard cars put together, and the chevron shape reminded me of the batman logo. I slowed down, afraid to go under it, but before I came to a complete stop, the UFO stopped in midair, angled itself downward directly toward us, and after a brief pause started to descend. There were no propellers or engines on it, but was clearly a "controlled craft". It was not at the mercy of any breeze or wind, although it seemed to glide. I panicked and floored it out of fear. We both lost sight of it behind us. I do not know if it landed, or flew off. There were n! o other visible witnesses, or anyone around at all. I have ove! r 20 yea rs of health information management experience as a district operations manager in several hospitals. I'm an educated man, do not jump to conclusions. I'm very analytical, and critical in my assessments. I've never believed myself to have seen anything like this before, and do not take reporting this to you lightly. Afterwards, my friend and I realized we could not account for an hour of time in our travel, and our voices were hoarse. (I can provide an artist's rendition if needed)

I went out to let my dog out and as usual, I looked up at the stars. About 2:00 high and to the south, I saw a cluster of lights. I could see red and yellowish lights. The object was stationary. I wondered if I was seeing a space station or satellite, but it wasn't moving. So I went in and called my husband to see if he saw the same thing, I told him to look up to the south. He described the same thing I saw. So I wanted more confirmation and called my neighbors down the street. I asked them to both go outside and look to the south and let me know if they saw anything. They both described the same object and that it was stationary. I just went out and it is still there.

On May 24, 2016, at approximately 21:15 hrs., I noticed in the night sky bright off white lights similar to light bulbs on a fixture bar, the lights were in a slight chevron shape. When I observed the lights in the north western sky, I noticed they were well above the tree line in the distance, yet very bright. I saw the lights for about 5 seconds, then called for my husband to look out the front of our house. I watched the lights for about another 3-5 seconds then moved to my husband’s location about 25 feet from my observation point. The lights were gone by the time I arrived at my husbands’ location. When I saw my husband I said that couldn’t have been a plane, and my husband immediately said that was no plane. We agreed if it had been a plane as large as what we observed, we would have heard engine noise or something as it passed. We noted the stillness of the moment, very quiet outside. We continued to watch the night sky for a minute or two before going inside. We determined what we saw was not from spot lights projecting in the air or any plane, helicopter or luminaries. My husband has a private pilot’s license, has law enforcement experience, and I am a retired law enforcement Deputy with almost 36 years of service. My husband and I are familiar with helicopters’ and airplanes; we are night sky watchers and look for the satellites going through the sky. This is the second time we have seen lights which made no sense to us and felt like it is necessary to file a report. We are located in central Missouri the area we live in is called Lake of the Ozarks, our home is located south of the Camdenton Memorial Airport. We are in the flight zone for the airport so we are familiar with aircraft landing and taking off. The ground winds from my personal observations were slight the evening was clear with a few clouds in the sky. The Emergency Management Office was able to tell me the winds aloft on the evening of May 24th., 2016 at 5,000 feet were from SS-W at 30-35 knots. The following is my husbands’ written account of what he observed. “On Tuesday, May 24th., 2016 at approximately 9:15 p.m. my wife called out for me to look outside at lights she was seeing. As I walked out of the house looking north to north west, I saw a line of bright yellowish looking lights at about the 2:00 position in the sky. The lights seemed to be pulsating from right to left the objects was stationary then left the area in a very fast departure after a few seconds. I estimate what I saw was 5 to 10 miles away and possibly 500 or more feet across, I could not see definitions of top to bottom only left to right. I am somewhat familiar with identifying objects in the air as I have had flight training and have my private pilots certificate. I also have law enforcement experience; it was not a plane or helicopter.”

It was 12:15 am May 01/16 and my girlfriend and myself had gone outside for a cigarette before retiring for the evening, we were sitting on the front step of our house, it was a very clear night, and we were commenting on the sky and she says there is a plane and it is going very fast, I said planes don't look fast in the sky and thought maybe the spacestation or satellite and stood up and looked and saw 4 orange lights go directly over our heads, in the form of a check mark, the lights would have been the size of a quarter held at arm's length, and the lights almost seemed obscured by cloud, but it was a clear night, and there was absolutely NO sound. We both looked at each other in amazement and asked "Did you see that !!??" We both acknowledged what we saw. We returned into the house and sat quietly for a few minutes , I then said we have to go back out , we out the back door and sat outside gazing at the sky. I should have mentioned the craft we saw at 0:15 was travelling south to north. Sitting in the back yard , gazing at the sky when I yelled "Look" , coming from the southwest going to the north , again right over head , 3 smaller lights , first appearing as light orange turning to a greenish white and quickly flying by , this was at 0:41, again , we were amazed at what we saw, sitting for a few more minutes , and coming from the exact same location as the previous 3 , 6 lights , moving quickly and dancing around as the went past. We sat for a few more minutes and my girlfriend was visibly shaken and we went into the house and tried to go to sleep , but it was a restless night to say the least.

It was a Chevron shape of 4 lights on one side and 3 on the other. It moved so slow, no noise at all. It was overcast but the craft was below the clouds. Maybe 1/4 mile up. All I could see was the lights and they started to shift and change shape. The shorter side drew back and the longer side shifted and it became a perfect even shape Chevron. Then, one side flipped almost in reverse like it was pointing backwards but still flying perfectly straight and slow, maybe 50 mph. It slowly flew from South East to Northwest, then headed due West. Then, out of sight as it slowly floated out to the edge of the cloud.

I was driving SW, i saw an object in the sky with a bright red glow and triangular in shape changed driving direction to South to match objects trajectory. i was able to get almost underneath the object had no aircraft hazard lights or any rotor wash, it was moving to slow to be a jet or prop plan and because of its releativly close proximity to me i could see that it did not contain any fixed wings or landing gear or avions that would identify it as a commercial or private aircraft. After i followed it for about 4 minutes, it stoped above me i stopped bellow it and proceded to exit my vehicle then it accelerated and began to decend i re entered my vehicle and followed after a minute i increased speed from 30mphs to 55 mph to attempt to keep up i saw a bright flash then it proceded to climb vertically and disappear into the cloud cover, because of the trajectory and the the decent vector no terrestial aircraft could have made that change in trajectory without a stale after it disapeared i drove around for another 10 minutes trying to get another visual on the contact

It suddenly, literally, jetted to one side a short distance to where it was concealed by the trees and I thought to myself that I would wait and watch for it to continue out from the side of the trees in direction it had went towards and see if maybe it WAS actually an airplane... Rather than continuing sideways... it went up.. then downward.. then up and out.. out so fast.. that it was simply gone.. in an instant.. and no airplane OR helicopter maneuvers that quickly in such short bursts.. Sooo...just what did I just see? I got a really odd vibe and chills and ran inside as quickly as I could.. that just really freaked me out!! O.o.. just.. what was I seeing?

the boomerang shaped object was very large and was composed of about 17 large white lights one in the center and the others around it making a boomerang shape. i watched it slowly going across the sky. then another object something like a helicopter came towards it and was flying under it for a distance. After the object had floated away, the helicopter type object went back to a stationary position in the night sky. During this whole event there was no sound and possibly no sightings unless someone else was using night vision goggles the way i was because when i tried seeing the object with binoculars it was invisible i had to use my nvg to see it. the helicopter type object could be seen with binoculars but not the boomerang.

I was out looking for Bigfoot, in the hills around St Paul, Minnesota, over the weekend, after enjoying a nice meal at McDonald's. I was separated from my group of expeditionists, and I saw a bright light that seemed to move in a zig-zag pattern. I was confused at first, but thought nothing of it, until it seemed to get larger, and closer. I realized it was actually a metal craft that was shaped like the a chevron, kind of like what you see on a gas station sign for a chevron location. I felt frozen in place as the bright lights got closer to me, and I couldn't move. I felt a strange warmth engulf me, and then I was in a strange place, it metal. I wasn't alone, I couldn't make them out, there was a strange haze in the air, and a buzzing in my ears. The entities or what have you got close to me but I still couldn't see them, my vision got blurry. Then suddenly I was back on the trail, and my companions found me, near the Mississippi River bluffs, saying that I'd disappeared for about 35 minutes. Please help. Hoax. The picture is a bit shaky but you can see a big bright object flying over that barn. I estimated it to be about 4000 ft up. It was sort of saucer-shaped with a black bottom and a bright white dome top. It had no flashing lights, no red lights, no blue lights, or anything like that. I was driving along, and it went out of sight behind the tree line. I'm sending the photo that I took, and a pic that I created on Paint. I drew the picture before looking up any other photos because I didn't want my memory to be corrupted.

This event was also reported to MUFON, reference case report 74899. The event details are as follows: On 29 FEB, 2016, at approximately 18:20, a co-worker and myself saw something we cannot explain while returning to our work center from lunch. Driving north from a restaurant about a mile from our work center, we first noticed the object about halfway through the drive back. It was dusk and the sky was darkening, with thin clouds to the north and east. The object was a bright string of lights located to the north, approximately 25-30 degrees above the horizon, moving slowly in a westerly direction. The light nearest the "front" of the object was of a reddish orange color, and a bit brighter than the rest. Trailing behind this red light was a line of numerous yellow, somewhat dimmer lights that were spaced very closely together. For the first 10-15 seconds after spotting the object, it continued to move slowly towards the west and the lights appeared to pulse or waver slightly, possibly due to atmospheric turbulence. After this 10-15 second period, all of the lights started to dim and then disappear from sight. This object remained invisible for approximately 5 seconds, when suddenly it began to re-appear. Once it reached full brightness and size, I could discern that the lights were not an exact straight line, but seemed to curve under and out at the front of the object. I infer from this effect that the lights were possibly arranged in a V or chevron pattern, and that I was observing the object nearly edge on. The details of the shape can be viewed in the included rough sketch. The object continued moving west for approximately 10 more seconds before fading from view again, disappearing permanently this time. At no time was I able to see a solid object. There were two other witness that I know of at my work center that saw the object as well. My coworker and I have years of military experience between us in the USAF. Neither one of us had ever seen an object quite like this. There are many types of aircraft that operate at Edwards AFB, nothing we know of matches the behavior of these lights. It is our opinion that these lights were not aerial flares. They moved in unison and did not vary in altitude. What we saw was either a large group of objects flying in a extremely tight formation, or that these lights were part of a single, large object. The behavior and consistent altitude of the lights, the distance between them and the lateral motion leads me to believe they were part of the same object. Also, I believe there are witness to the same event outside my exact location. Reference MUFON case number 74891, a report made on the same day in California City of a very similar object. California City is located 15 miles north east of Edwards AFB.

My wife, son and daughter counted more than 10 and as many as 16 aircraft hovering, then moving nearly soundlessly over Rockland Co. (We drove from Nyack to Suffern, NY) and northern Bergen Co., NJ. They appeared to be drones (certainly not helicopters, as they were close enough to see their lights in detail, but made almost no sound). They were performing some kind of coordinated group activity, with the aircraft moving then hovering, then some moving together (flying at the same speed and direction) for a short while before diverging. It was really interesting, because between 8:45 and 9:15 you could look in almost any direction and see two of three of the craft moving through the sky.
