Object was very close in the night sky, it had a red & white circular center, with blue rays coming out of it. It was very bright. If flew slowly up and down, left to right, side to side and even stopped at certain times. Witnessed by more people in the city.

I was sitting in my car (not moving, nor running) in my driveway, facing South on May 9, 2015, at 9:44p.m. The sky was very overcast, but illuminated by the Moon which was not seen yet. A glowing orange orb rose from my Southwest from beyond my trees and arced up in a Northerly direction. It continued North for a short time then began to descend, still arcing and continuing to the North. Then something that looked like a smaller (also orange glowing version of itself) appeared to eject and drop straight downward and disappeared. A few seconds later, the original orb also disappeared. My mother, a friend and myself were sitting on the front porch enjoying the evening. At approximately 22:40 we noticed a pulsating orange and yellow sphere traveling what we believe to be SE to NE. At first we thought it was a plane with its collision lights on but as it got closer I knew that the light was not white but orange. There were no blinking red and green lights and the light did not diminish in intensity until after it had traveled several miles past our location. There were no apparent sounds from a jet engine or props, just quiet, even though it appeared to be less than a mile away. We thought it may have been a military chopper but it would have had to been flying extremely quiet. Then we noticed a second light on the SE horizon heading our direction. We were discussing whether the object had circled when we noticed several more appearing from the same direction. I then went in to the house to grab my cell phone to take some photos and get my wife to come out to look at what we were seeing. Within the next 20 minutes we observed approximately 36 of these lights all the about the same size, with the same color characteristics, flying the same direction from the same area as the others appeared, with no noise and eventually going dark at about 3 to 5 miles from our location. Their speed was slow almost to the point of what I would call floating but definitely moving faster than a balloon but slower than a helicopter. At several times we had 6 to 8 objects in clear view and several times it appeared as though they were flying in V shaped formations. There was one instance when it looked as though 2 objects were going to collide and at the last second they both changed direction to avoid collision. The objects did not have any distinct markings or defined edges. As they pulsated they appeared as almost opaque. At first we thought possibly the military was doing maneuvers since it was Friday night but then we became more skeptical as to what these lights were. I talked with a neighbor about ten minutes later and he felt it may have been the military flying drones. None of us who witnessed this event quite know what we saw and were in total dismay because we could not come up with a definitive answer as to what the objects were or why they were in the area. I have photos on my cell phone but to the naked eye they appear as small dots in the dark sky and I was unable to see as much as I did with the naked eye so they were no help. However if you want to see them I will supply them upon request. I have been looking to see if anyone else had the occurrence for the same area and time

2 Bright orange orbs flying in tandem/formation over Hudson River near 145 street in Manhattan, NYC [was raised in that area so I’m pretty sure about location]. I pulled out my phone and took 3 pictures while driving on the Henry Hudson Parkway going northbound [hard to do driving 50mph]. Orbs were approx. 90 ~ 100 ft. above Hudson River at a distance from my vehicle of about 2 city blocks when first spotted. Orbs were traveling southbound @ perhaps 40mph? Second glance I saw the second orb trailing behind the first [probably 30 ft. distance] and also descending and getting closer to the River. This time I tried to figure out their sizes but couldn't really determine it so I guessed that the circumference was about the length of my car [15 ft.?] They continued on their southern path at the same speed. I slowed down my vehicle to try to get a 3rd and a better look [some Brokeback mountain guy in his Lego set Toyota was honking his horn behind me until he saw me pointing out my window and at the object. I saw his jaw drop and his eyes open via my rear view as he saw the orbs] I ignored the driver behind me and looked to see that both orbs came to a complete stop in unison for about 5 or 6 seconds, then they continued to move southbound at the same speed I mentioned previously. I lost sight of them as I continued to travel northbound. Both orbs were a steady bright luminescent orange with a slightly yellow tinted center [took a better look when they stopped]. I couldn’t hear any sounds as the orbs flew by due to a commercial plane flying overhead and there was a good amount of cars on both sides cancelling out all other noises. At first I may have assumed they were military drones but I couldn’t find any reason to that [if military then why orange orbs?] especially when they completely stopped in mid-flight for more than a few seconds and then both continued their flight at the same time. As I approached the George Washington Bridge I noticed several helicopters flying around and what seemed like 2 military jets circling the area as if they were searching for something. This was really strange. The 2 orbs were definitely UFO's [not saying a spaceship carrying aliens from another planet as many people ALWAYS assume that about UFO's] I couldn’t stop talking about it at work while people are staring at me listening to the story like I’m crazy. I quickly lessen their skepticism after showing the photos. I searched Google Images and YouTube and found that these Orange Orbs are a very common sighting especially around the Hudson River from Manhattan all the way up north as far as Albany. I guess it was my turn to see them...

We left Ida, Michigan, at approx 9pm and noticed a round-ish black object on the sky with spike lights. Golden color around the entire object. We noticed the on Dundeeichigan and still saw it along our 60 mile drive to .....it did not move but speared closer in Brighton and there were times the lights appeared as dots in an uneven line across the center of the object.

Driving south on hwy 54 outside of city. We observed 2 bright orange lights hovering low in the sky, below the mountain range line. They were over the desert to the west of the city, moving slowly. As we watched the orbs, they blinked off, as if to shut all power off, then they would reappear in a different area and hover orange again. The lights continued to blink on and off in the stationary position. After a couple of minutes they both went dark and disappeared. We did not see them again in the sky anywhere. Friends report that they have seen the orange orbs in Alamogordo on Wednesdays, Thursdays and sometimes Saturday's, and most always around 830-1000pm.

On 7 May, 2015, at about 8 p.m. EDT, while sitting on my patio, I noticed what appeared to be a particularly bright star practically at zenith. At first I suspected it was Venus, but the object didn't act like a star. I had my wife keep eyes on the object while I retrieved two sets of binoculars, and we both observed the object. The object appeared to resolve as a tiny disk vice a point, so I had my wife continue to observe it while I retrieved my camera. When I returned, she reported that a tiny object appeared to swiftly go by the larger object, while the larger object appeared to remain stationary. I photographed it through a 250mm lens, and the image showed a round bright white object connected to a tiny object by a thin line. Next, I retrieved my 750mm telescope. My wife reported the object slowly creeping east southeast. Its speed made it difficult to keep up with on the telescope's equatorial mount, and its speed seemed to increase toward the ESE. When I finally got it in view, I observed it through a 7.5mm eyepiece, and it resolved into what appeared to be a white sphere connected to a small object via a dangling cable. The sphere was about 2 times the size of Jupiter through the same eyepiece. The slow speed of the oscillation (>1 second) of the dangling object implied a relatively long line, and the oscillation would occasionally tip the sphere and expose an orange object at the interface between the line and the sphere. My wife, eldest son and I observed for a few minutes. At this point, I recalled the successful bombing of the mainland U.S. by the Japanese in World War II via hydrogen balloons, so I looked online for where to report this ostensible balloon. I quickly came across the National UFO Reporting Center, so I called them at 8:17 p.m. It was about when I called when the object faded out of view. The center operator requested I write this report, and suggested I call local law enforcement if I was truly concerned. I contacted Fairfax County Police, and they said they couldn't take action if the object were as high as it appeared (whereas they could respond for an aerial object threatening people on the ground, e.g., a rogue quad-copter). As I was compiling my data for the report, my wife came across a local news channel interview online with the National Weather Service about their radiosonde balloons. The balloons in the video looked much like the object we observed, so I called the UFO reporting center back. The operator suggested I do a winds aloft check to verify the direction of the object. The local airport at Dulles didn't have an available report online, but the Richmond, VA, and Westminister, MD, airports did. The winds aloft report from Westminister indicated that the balloon probably originated there: for the object to be stationary and then drift east meant that it passed between 18000 and 30000 feet. Moreover, the winds from the surface to 18000 feet would have taken the balloon south and then west, which is where it was relative to Westminister.

I ran outside to take a picture of the suns rays shining through the clouds. I took the picture and then looked at it on my phone to discover a green orb partially behind the clouds! Opinion please?!? Green lens flare, caused by photographing the Sun. PD

The first week of May, 2015, a moon sized orange orb, clear to see, but with a fuzzy aspect to it, moved from S to N over the upstate South Carolina Hills. Out of a large picture window I look W toward Travelers Rest, SC, toward the western most NC state line, or North Georgia. I only see 3 to 7 mountains, depending on the weather. It took 15 to 20 minutes to traverse this line of sight. I was mesmerized as if this were perfectly normal, and did not take a picture. Witness indicates that the date of the event is approximate. PD

My report is simply: I drove past 3 silver orbs that seemed to be floating/parked in the side of a mountain I drove past...on the way from Vegas to phx. I wanted to talk to someone at your center to confirm if orbs have been spotted in this area. It seemed very unreal to me because they were about 10 feet from drivers side of car...as I drove by. I thought I imagined them. We spoke via telephone with the witness, and he seemed to us to be both sincere, and sober-minded. PD

However, the object returned as fast as it had left, but appeared over a different house. It repeated this action quite a few times. This went on for a good hour to an hour and a half before it finally left the area. I'm not sure what it was doing, but if I had to guess it was collecting intell. The object was about the size of a softball at about a thousand feet. It was dark in color and had no identifying lights. There was no sound or noise of any kind coming from the object. The weather was calm with a wind speed of 5 mph and frequent gusts of 17 mph with a visibility of 10.00 miles. There were some high-altitude clouds in the area, but none to obstruct the view of the object. Weather history information provided through Weather Underground.

My husband and I heard what we believed to be a large, low flying helicopter outside above our home just prior to 11:00 p.m. tonight (May 2, 2015). I went out and observed a large helicopter following a fast moving sphere (ball) of light. The ball was a burnt orange in color, appeared to be approximately ½ the size of the helicopter, and both were traveling from the West in an Eastward direction. The object was traveling significantly faster and was ahead of the helicopter, approximately 50-100ft away on the South side. It appeared to slow its speed twice for the helicopter to catch up before they were out of my sight. I had a very good view of them as there is a nearly full moon out, the sky was clear, and they flew directly over me. A strange and beautiful sight…

Last night, 5-2-15, approximately 2110 my wife who was standing on our front porch awoke me to come outside. Looking to the east toward the Mississippi River, at about a 45 degree angle were three reddish orange glows, five times bigger than a star, in a perfect triangular shape sitting stagnant in the sky. The lights remained stationary for several minutes as we observed 10-12 more globes coming out of one globe that was the farthest away from the triangle in the southeast moving northwest towards the triangle. The globes then began to follow the triangular shape as it moved towards the northwest where they disappeared behind some clouds. I would probably say we watched these for ten minutes.

I was sitting in my car, not moving, engine not running, pointing almost due South in my driveway, enjoying the clear sky, and almost full moon at 11:07 p.m., on Friday, May 1, 2015. At this moment, I observed a bright red light rising from my South West, arcing up and to the East, peaking at approximately about 40 feet above the peak of my barn, but obviously well beyond (to the South), maybe 30 or more miles. It then appeared to be brilliant red, as bright as the Moon maybe at about 10 degrees space between the Moon and the “orb” then began its decent in the arc to the South East, then disappeared behind some clouds. About 10 minutes later, it reappeared and retraced its arc almost exactly and disappeared at its starting point behind my trees in the South West. The entire sighting lasted until about 11:50p.m. This “orb” emitted no sound that I could hear, nor do anything but move steadily through the sky. There was no other movement like blinking, changing colors, nor anything going in or out of the object. I saw no wings or pilots or anything that would suggest propulsion of any kind. On May 1, 2015, at 9:50 pm, I was taking my dog outside to run around the yard, as I come around to the front of the house, looking north I first noticed in the distance a small orange light, but as I kept watching the light, it was coming south towards me and was getting larger and larger and at a high rate of speed. No sound coming from the light and as it got closer I could see a big round orange ball of light with an orb shape glow around it. I ran back to the house to get my wife to witness this. At this time I had been watching this for 10 seconds and it should of flu over my yard but as my wife came out to look it had changed direction and was heading to the north east and looked to be gaining altitude at a high rate of speed and disappeared in around 5 seconds after the direction change. I would say it looked like the size of a basketball in the sky, and maybe 300 t0 400 feet in the air?

The orb remained perfectly stationary for about 10-15 seconds then, at a speed unknown to anyone present, dropped and vanished behind a nearby building. It took our breath away and one witness let out a scream. The size of the orb and intensity of the light gave the impression of nearness—it seemed to be no more than a quarter of a mile away. There was no accompanying noise. We walked in the direction of the occurrence and found no evidence of aircraft, fireworks, drone, spotlight, etc... Immediately after the orb dropped a brief period of silence was experienced by everyone in the group, not only the witnesses. Was sitting in car waiting to pick wife up from work. Saw a bright blue and green flash explode in the sky with rays of light emanating from the center. The explosion disappeared within an instant leaving just a blue and green orb of light; which proceeded to fly in a zig zag across the sky in acute movents I cannot imagine any man made vehicle capable of.

9:47 pm, April 30, 2015, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86406 Directly north in the night sky against a background of complete darkness was an amber colored orb that appeared to be rotating as it slowly darkened to a rust color and disappeared. Me and my son were on our front porch and were gazing into the sky when the flash caught my attention, I thought it was the moon at first glance, maybe a harvest moon. As I looked further it was rotating clockwise and started to get darker in color. It went from an brighter yellow orange to red orange as the shape began to get smaller and smaller until it was gone completely.

I was watching the night sky with my night vision camera with me. A round white object came into view, so I got it in frame and tracked it for a minute or two. A few seconds after I got it in frame, it started to flare, getting much bigger in size. It got approximately 50 times bigger than its original size, but only momentarily.
