Went down stairs for a snack before bed saw 3 bright yellow flashes no more than a few miles away within 20 minutes. Appeared to be coming from ground flashing upwards to sky.

Went out on my back deck a little after 10:00 pm to let the dogs out. Saw a slow-moving, flashing light that moved from west to east in the north sky. Possibly several objects. It flashed irregularly, like it was twisting in the sunlight. Seemed to be very high altitude. At one point, it changed to a southeast trajectory. I went inside and grabbed binoculars while my neighbor tried to capture it on his Android phone. When I looked at it through the binoculars I realized it was actually two objects! One following the other and both flashing at irregular intervals. After watching them move slowly across the sky, the brighter one suddenly TURNED SOUTH, continuing to flash every 6-12 seconds for about 30 secs before disappearing. Never seen anything like that happen before. The dimmer object continued E also flashing at odd intervals until it moved past 90deg above us and began quickly fading as if it was going into the earths shadow. First thought was it might have been the Tiangong-1 space station, but a quick check online showed it nowhere near our latitude. A check of the satellite databases showed no objects matching the magnitude, altitude or azimuth observed for the time frame. Whatever they were they appeared to be very high altitude, possibly tumbling and moving very, very slowly compared to satellites or aircraft. Observer #1 has been an astro-imager and satellite tracker for 15yrs+, an aviation enthusiast for over 40 yrs, and has seen a lot of strange looking, but easily explainable, things in the sky. These were VERY odd objects indeed!! Observer #2 has had one other observation of different unknown objects 3 1/2 years ago about 2 miles from this location. Possibly tumbling space debris, giving off intermittent reflections of the Sun?? PD

I then closed my eyes for no more than 30 seconds, when I jolted and had that dream that I was falling. I opened my eyes right away, feeling like no time had passed at all. I was sure that it was all in a matter of seconds, but I looked at the time and two hours had gone by. It was now 0309 that same night. I am sure that something weird happened, as I am the only one who saw the light and my roommate has no recollection of the light. I am a very avid dreamer, having 3-5 every night that I remember. This did not feel like a dream, nor did I have one in the two hours that passed. If anyone has had an encounter like this, please let me know. I have read that other people in my area have had the same encounter and I want to know if this has happened to anyone else. I know I sound crazy. But I am not crazy. We live out in the country on twelve acres with zero light pollution and a great view of the sky. We also have lots of air traffic from the major airports, but they are a good bit away and like many, I know what a jet liner looks like vs. other things. I’m also very familiar with iridium flares and what they look like. This did not resemble those. It should also be noted, this was definitely star level (if that makes sense) and the color of the flash and light was a very bright white light.. Stargazing is my thing, so it’s no surprise that I was looking up while I had to take my puppy out to do her business. It was around midnight and extremely cold. I had my flashlight with me so I could see if she went, or not. As I flashed it towards her, I caught a flash out of the “top of my eye” so to speak. It immediately made me look up because the source of the light was from above. At first, I thought maybe my flashlight was reflecting off of my glasses, but as I was looking up at the Big Dipper, I immediately saw a bright flashing light in the lower handle area of the constellation. It was stationary, not moving and was just flashing, but like a slow fade flash. Then, a few seconds later to the left, another light appeared..it almost appeared as if they were talking to one another in sequence. All the while, I’m standing there in disbelief, freezing and thinking, “I’ve gotta go get someone to see this or they’ll never believe me!” Not to mention the puppy is freezing too! So, I keep my eyes on these lights, and the second light begins to move towards the east, slowly fading in and out, meanwhile the first original light flashes bright again. Then, a third light appears slightly above the other two forming a triangular pattern. Now I’m really in shock and amazement because these are definitely NOT satellites the way they are moving and definitely NOT any normal aircraft that I’ve ever seen. I quickly yell for my anyone in my household to get outside ASAP and the first one to appear is my 14 year old daughter. She then witnesses the movements of the lights with me. All three lights are now flashing with one moving slowly eastward. The first initial light that appeared flashed extremely bright, moved directly to the left and then directly east, in a zigzag pattern. My daughter’s exact words were, “Whoa! That one was bright!” I told her to run in and grab my husband and my phone so I could try to video them and as soon as he opened the door they all went out! Go figure!! Now, what in the world did we see?!? Our background..business owners, married for 20 years, college education. You don’t need to contact me about this unless you want to. I just wanted to report it to have it documented. Hoping someone else saw it, too.

AT 20:50 to approximately 20:54 mountain time, I looked towards the north sky and a flashing light caught my attention. I proceeded to watch it for about 60 seconds, before I knocked on the window to call my wife outside. Still looking to the north I pointed at the sky to my wife and she started to track the same flashing light. The light had an ebb and a flow to it, sometimes flashing brilliantly and other times more like an aircraft collision light through some haze. I stepped into the yard to land mark the Big Dipper so I could reference some trajectory. I found it a bit further north and west than the north star, a third of the distance past the north star to the big dipper in distance. In the next four minutes it shifted closer than the north star and further east of it at an approximate degree shift of 25 to 30 degrees. During one of the blinks I saw it shift nearly 5 degrees in the sky before that particularly bright prolonged flash ended. The flashes metered 2-6 seconds in interval, and only lasted a second or two per flash. The flashes lacked an exact meter of interval. The movement was mostly left to right which is West to East. Sometimes the object blinked stationary. Other times it would move several degrees East South East. The type of light emission ranged between a super bright star to a dim star. White in color base.

On February 21st 2018, my fiancé went outside at approximately 3:45 AM to let the dog out. He stayed outside for about 5 minutes, observing the night sky. He then spotted a flash of light and movement that was not a star or a satellite. He woke me up to come watch the object. It was bitter cold and clear weather. I watched the object flash and move, leaving a bit of tracer lights. I observed it moving vertically and horizontally. It would disappear and then reappear with a flash of a light. It was not an aircraft, not a star and not a satellite. My fiancé told me how far the object had moved during his observation. It transversed about a third to one half of the night sky from south to north parallel to the Big Horn Mountains.

Blinking white light object never moved in the sky appeared to be very high altitude. Object blinked approximately once every 10 seconds. It was not visible between flashes. After approximately 10 minutes it looked like another much larger craft approached and both disappeared. Date: 2-18-2018 Time: 19:45CT (7:45pm) Location: We were driving in Savage, MN. Duration: Each individual flash was instant, all four flashed within a 30-45 second time period. Driving home from dinner, observed 4 extremely bright flashes of white light in the eastern sky. They were bright enough to light up the entire eastern horizon. Source of light was not visible. Was similar to a lightning flash but no flickering effect and no reported lightning in the area. They did not flash in even intervals, appeared sporadic. *This was observed by two Adults and a 9 year old child.

Today i walked out to smoke a cigarette and i was looking towards the northwestern sky and noticed 1 bright flash that was about the size of a star. Now i have seen IR flares before and this was not that because another flash then occurred in the same spot. I then saw a star like object that was next to it completely go out and disappear. First ever confirmed UFO sighting for me here.

I saw a bright blue/green circle flash come out of the sky out of no where and starting flying like a plane and went away in like 3 seconds. It was not a flying star or a meteor crashing because it was flying horizontally super fast.

We were driving south on the 71 when we saw a flash greenish/yellow that lit up the whole area that made it look like day time. At first we thought it was probably a some sort of lightning, when 15 seconds later another flash occurred exactly the same way. It was something we didn't understand at the time, but was amazed how that flash made the night seem like it was morning.

A series of 9 or 10 dark orange linear flashes close together, over Pueblo Lake would appear briefly then go out. A second or two later, another series of 9 or 10 flashes would appear in a different orientation, but all of them were linear. About 2-3 minutes later, they would do it again at a different location. No sound emanated, the night was clear and starry. This continued for about 20 minutes, then quit.

Having used my small flashlight and having identified no immediate danger I cautiously started walking towards my car when, out the corner of my eye and to the right, I picked up something that looked like bright lights or a fire towards the southwest area of town near Fort Carson and/or Cheyenne Mountain AFB. Turning my head to get a better look I saw what appeared to be a bright string of amber colored flare like lights that at times appeared connected and at times with gaps between them. At first I thought they may have been aerial flares or illumination rounds fired from the artillery ranges at Fort Carson. However, I quickly determined that they were not acting like flares and too high to be ‘Illum’ rounds. In fact, they appeared to flicker in and out by disappearing and reappearing for lack of a better explanation. As I looked harder, it appeared that these lights were above the flashing antenna lights on the very top of Cheyenne Mountain. I could not quite put together in my head what I was actually seeing and could not fully determine if the object was actually one or many items and if it was moving or spinning (from possibly right to left) or if there was an illusion of movement due to its flickering nature. Suddenly after about a minute or less of this, the object or objects suddenly disappeared and did not come back. I saw one of my coworkers getting into her car nearby and I yelled out if she just saw that to which she replied she did and made some half joking comment about a flying saucer. My whole drive home, which was 12 miles in a southerly direction down Powers Blvd, I made sure to keepe an eye out on the sky, however, I never saw them again. At around 20:55 hours, from home, I called a local new station’s news desk, KKTV I believe, and spoke with someone named Tony and asked him if anyone had called in reporting a string of amber colored lights in the sky. He immediately became excited at stated I was the first report from Colorado Springs and that he has been getting reports of such a thing for the past hour from Pueblo which is just south of Colorado Springs. He even volunteered that he was going to call NORAD and ask them if anything was going on and that someone had even sent video which he intended to put on the station’s Facebook page. As of the following morning, there were no news reports or video. I talked to my coworker and she stated that she saw the same thing I did and added that the incident seemed to cause the antenna lights on top of Cheyenne Mountain to flicker on and off, something I did not, myself, seem to pick up on. I am a veteran of the US Army and former law enforcement. I have seen numerous aircraft and aerial flares over the years and can positively state I have never seen anything quite like this. However, I am open to the possibility that this sighting could be due to military aircraft and/or flares. The lights were bright and amber colored, much larger than stars but smaller, although brighter, than the moon. There was a slight wind where I was at but I do not know what the weather was like in the area where the lights were. Postscript: I have waited over a year to post this and was on the fence, so to speak, about doing it at all for reasons personal to me. However, 3 recent Joe Rogan podcasts have changed my mind.

The light was slightly yellowish and the flares of variable intensity were brighter than the alpha-centaur star that was nearby and one of the flares was much more brighter than the venus glow. The speed of travel was very slow, with no noise whatsoever, it seemed to be at an altitude far superior to that of jet planes. I followed the displacement of the source of the light until it disappeared definitively when arriving at the constellation of the Scorpion. I have had dozens of years of observation as an amateur astronomer and have never seen anything like this with such peculiar behavior. It was certainly not an airplane, not a helicopter, not a balloon and even less a drone. All the observation lasted about five minutes. The witness does not indicate a date, so we have sent him an e-mail, for verification, and assigned an arbitrary date. PD

I was observing the Orion Nebula with my 8" telescope when I first noticed a reflection of an object rapidly flashing blue, red, green, white, and possibly other colors. I looked up and saw the object – it was close enough to distinguish that the flashing lights were in different positions on the object, but I could not make out its shape. I thought it was an airplane at first, but instead of it flying on a particular heading it was traveling upward and outward with a rocket-like trajectory. However, there was smoke trail it as one would expect with a rocket. Additionally, it did not emit any sound. When I first looked up, the object was about 70 degrees above the south-south-west horizon in the Aries constellation (near the "41 Arietus" star). The object traveled in an outward trajectory, heading south-south-east toward the Orion constellation, but curving downward toward the Eridanus and Lepus constellations. I called my wife out to see it, and she saw it the last couple of minutes as it was leaving. I tried to track it with my telescope, but it was moving too fast. As the multicolored flashing object was moving away it became smaller and fainter to see, until it disappeared completely between the "54 Eridani" and the "Epsilon Leporis" stars, near the Eridanus and Lepus IUA boundaries. The only difference between this object's trajectory and a rocket's trajectory is that it never "flattened" out – in other words, the object continued on a semi-parabolic trajectory, as if it were heading into space. Also, the object appeared to vary its speed, but seemed to continue at a fast and constant speed as it disappeared. It took around 4 minutes for it to traverse the arc described above, and it definitely was traveling faster than a rocket. About 3 minutes after it disappeared, a passenger jet flying west to east flew at an unusually low and flat altitude of about 1,000' to 1,500' above the ground, and it flew right over our house. It was close enough to see the passenger windows and its configuration (either a 737 or an Airbus A320). I presumed it was landing at Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport (aka, Williams Gateway), which is about 10 miles away from Chandler. This particular plane was abnormally low, which could suggest that "something" was detected by radar, and that the plane was flying low as a precaution.

I waited a couple of minutes and asked my friend, who was standing with me, if he “saw anything weird tonight”. He said he just saw a flash of light. Without telling him anything, I asked him to describe it to me. His description was the exact same as mine. Thank god! I’m not insane or maybe both of us are! My first thought was that it could be a pulsar. I cannot remember if pulsars emit light in the human viewable spectrum. I have had physics, chemistry, biology, math, etc in college. I took a year of astronomy online from Ohio State. I’ve been an amateur astronomer for many years and have been an avid sky watcher spending hundreds of hours looking up from high altitudes and excellent locations. I have learned a lot about what flys around up there. I know a meteor from a satellite from a plane from a bug! I never saw this before! It left no trail. Nothing visible. I think it was probably a type of pulse from a star going through some type of energy emission. I just do not know which one yet. If you have any ideas, please let me know. I would love to check this one off the UFO list.

I saw a bright flash about 22:30 out my window. My first thought was that it was a firework, but there was no noise at all and when I went outside to see if anything else was going on, there was nothing. My wife then saw a bright flash shortly before sunrise the next morning, 1/29/18 around 06:00. She had the shades drawn in that room, but said it was bright enough to light up the whole room. She also said she did not hear any noise associated with it. We live at the top of a hill, so it could not have been headlights from a vehicle.
