On August 18th, 2018 I was on an airplane flying from North Carolina to Los Angeles. When we were passing Denver, Colorado, (or close to Denver, according to the airplane map), I opened my window and saw that there was a thunderstorm a couple of miles away. I was sitting on the left side of the plane in the window seat, and the storm was directly in front of my window. I pulled out my phone to take a video of the lightning because I thought it looked pretty cool from how high up we were. While I was filming, I noticed a flashing red and white light flying. It was flying the opposite direction of the plane I was in. The object was flying in a straight line, and then it started to lower, stopped blinking for a second, and then when it started blinking again, it was up high again as if it had reversed. It then kept flying away. It looked almost like a drone, but because of how high up we were, there’s no way it was a drone or a building light, etc. I also thought it could’ve been! a plane, but because of how quickly it moved, I didn’t think it could be that either. I think I would of been able to see the outline of the plane if that had been what it was also. It was very small and I didn’t see it’s shape because of how dark it was. I caught it all on video though and it still confuses me.

My sister and I were watching the Perseids meteor shower when we saw a very bright white light flash several times while moving across the sky. It also changed directions dramatically. We were looking northwest when we spotted it.

Saw a very brief streak of white light in the sky, travelling northeast at an incredibly high rate of speed (in excess of several hundred mph). We both saw it. I was looking out at the western sky, from back deck of house and a bright round "flash"ball appeared in the western sky. It was cloudy and overcast and the stars were mostly not visible due to the cloud cover. I have a pretty good knowledge of what various aircraft look like at night and the sounds that they give off,along with how thwy are capable of moving and how quickly they should move across the night sky. this was soundless, appeared for a second and then suddenly the same exact "light" is then, i am estimating, popping up 3-5 miles away, BRIGHTLY again,then vanishes,and is way over in the opposite direction in a different spot...This will go on for four to six times then i saw a vague streak and in a matter of seconds the "flash" id over the horizon and gone. my wife and i have seen this phenomenon at least 5 times already,this month and cant get a photo or video cause i dont know where its going to pop up when it reappears ! each time. its incredibly fast,quiet, and unexpectedly bright considering the clouds almost completely obscure any satellite or prominent stars from being clearly seen at all. I did not know how to answer the quantity question, because its unclear to me if its one item jumping around the sky or a group of them less than in this instance.

Walking out of a movie theatre when me and another witness saw a bright yellow/green stationary blinking light in the sky that in a matter of seconds it shot across the sky and disappeared. Heard booming sounds like thunder, but rapid; nearly constant. Witnessed 1 flash of light to the west. Watched sky after it ended. Fast moving light shot by going in direction of the booms. Flying about airplane height, but VERY fast.

I am a retired RF Engineer living here in Truckee California where the skies are clear and dark at night. I occasionally watch the eastern sky hoping to see something interesting. I got my wish, at 10PM on Thursday, June 21st, looking easterly in the heavens where satellites pass by I looked closely for movement and was about to give up when I saw a brilliant bright flash and from that flash emerged a lightly glowing orange object which began moving across the horizon to the north at an incredibly fast speed, gone and out of sight in about 90 seconds. Never have I witnessed anything that unusual in the skies before. The following night while asleep I was awoken from a dream where I was outside watching the skies when a small UFO no bigger than a motorcycle zoomed up next to me and in my head I knew I was not to tell anyone about what I saw that night. I was laying down when I noticed a light in the sky from my bedroom's window. I got up and looked more closely to see it, initially assuming this was an airplane with lights on the wings flying at night. This also made sense to me because it was cloudy tonight. The weird thing about it was that the light coming from whatever was flying was what seemed like bouncing around in the cloudy skies, but all the whilst staying in one spot. The light was bright white. I then called a friend over to check it out without saying what I was looking at, and then it started to become very erratic. The light would bounce and also change direction. My friend also noticed the flashes had a pattern, it was one flash a slight pause and then 3 quick flashes. The direction change wasn't extraordinary, just bizarre in the sense that it was not a normal flying pattern for a plane. My window was also open and there was no sound emitting. A couple times, in the six minutes of its ! duration,we looked away, once to turn the lights off inside my apartment to get a better look, then again to look for my binoculars, and then again to find a place to report this. As we were looking for my binoculars, within the span of around less than 20 seconds, we looked at the previous spots it was no longer there or had vanished. What this flying thing was I have no idea. To me and my other witness the only thing that was evident, and very clear was this bright bouncing and changing light flashing in a pattern. We are both young adults. I am from the Midwest, and he is from the PNW. I have never seen anything like it. We considered the possibility of drones and while I don't know what that would look like at night with a flashing light it did hover mainly as it changed directions, however it looked really high and to me in relativity with that height the light must have been massive, or extremely bright.

I was on a plane flying from Dallas to Denver and was using my IPhone to video tape a plane an another object that was likely another plan that was flying near my plane. The questionable object was flying from my left to right and I was following it with my phone. However, when I showed my wife the video upon my return to Dallas, she noticed a flash that went from right to left at the 4 second spot of the 15 second video. I slowed it down and it looks like a cluster of lights in a circular pattern. I will submit the video following this submission, but I can't figure out what it is. We have viewed the video in question, and our guess is that the flash of light was caused by a reflection from the inside surface of the aircraft's window. PD

Saturday night, June 9th, approximately 9:08 pm. I was sitting in my truck in front of my boy's mom house while they went in to feed the dogs. I notice a bright flash in the sky towards the north mountains behind the house. We live on the outskirts of Vegas. The light was moving very slow with sudden flashes. I ran to the front door to get my two teenage boys so they could also witness what I was seeing. As we stood there the lights continued to flash. All the sudden a light took off in an upward diagonal direction as fast as a shooting star off into a cloud. My oldest son also said he saw a light shoot straight up. That us other two didn’t see. There was one light that continued on West to east direction flashing in a bright flashing motion. We decided to pull out our phones and record the remainder of what we were seeing. Moments later we saw nothing it was all gone. We continued to watch but there was nothing. We’ve spent a lot of time in the outdoors and ha! ve never seen anything this dramatic in the night sky before.....

My friends and I were stargazing and suddenly a flash starts to fly across the sky. It seemed as if it flew in short visible spurts, we saw four, until it flew into the horizon where we couldn’t see any farther. My friend I looked at each other and we both agreed it could be a UFO. At approximately 0110 in the morning, Tuesday, 5 June, 2018, I had to let the dog out to do his business. Weather was clear, very slight high haze and a couple of random puffy clouds. While waiting for the dog to finish, I observed several passenger aircraft cross the sky from west to east, very normal. I then looked to the south/southwest, approximately 65 degrees above the horizon. Four extremely bright, almost dazzling, pinpoint-like flashes occurred in quick succession. The first 3 flashes were timed about 1 second apart with the last flash happening about 3 seconds after the third. The flashes did not move relative to each other, and were in the exact same location for each flash. I was very taken aback by how bright the flashes were. As there was zero motion between flashes, it could not have been an aircraft, satellite or meteor, and the flashes were located much too high to be a drone or other hobbyist device. I did not observe any smoke or other pyrotechnic residue, not that I would expect any this late at night. I continued to intently observe this particular portion of sky for another 5 minutes, but I did not observe any further activity.

Date of report: June 1st 2018 Date of sightting: May 31st 2018 Time 2:45pm PST Approxiamately UFO Description: Silvery reflective object Description of UFO object actions: Remained stationary well over, one minute and then flew away in a westernly direction. location of the witness UFO sighting: Torrance Memorial Medical Center, in the middle of and northern section of the medical facility on the 5th floor. Visiting family member there!. Estimated location of UFO: Mahattan beach and Redondo Beach in the state of California! Estimated altitude of ufo over hover location 500 or more feet AGL. My statement regarding the UFO: I saw the silvery reflecting object hovering and motionless, I looked at it and carefully did some motions I moved left and right looking for any anomilies reflection off of other objects no result determined maybe UFO. The view i had I can see LAX traffic departures and determined object was too far south of LAX traffic departures and to low as well. I determined a UFO at this point, attempted to picture of UFO with cell phone object was unable to be seen in screen and no picture was attempted, at this point attempted a 2nd time object was losing brightness and moved away reflection brightness gone. My statement of my background: I have general aviation flying experience though no longer active, I have flown in high wing Cessna mostly 152 and 172 models and low wing Piper PA-25's mainly. I have worked at LAX as a ramp service agent and refueler. I attend airshows and I am avid aviation afficienado. I fly drones general hobby consumer products and R/C Model aircraft. I'll state this “if it's got wings I am pretty much familiar with it.” Final statement: Airplanes require forward movement to maintain flight or go higher in height this did not happen and ruled out helicopter because of windy conditions, and reflections not consistent with rotor blades spinning i.e. rapidly continuing pulsating flashes of light and police helicopters would be only authorized to fly low over a city and still have a forward motion for hindering ground gun fire common practice!.

Was sitting by a fire out camping looking up at the stars. It's really clear out there no light pollution. I started to notice flashes of light looked like it was out in space but in our orbit. Do not know what they could of been. The best way to describe it was it looked like ships in sci-fy movies coming out of light speed. I have never seen anything like it.

While traveling northbound on I-65 today heading toward Louisville, I saw a bright light flashes. The light resembled a star. It was high in the sky. The light flashed distinctive times in 3 places far apart in the western sky. I had on HD type sunglasses at the time I saw it. I could not see any craft such as an airplane that might have reflected the sun. Also, the speed and distance between the flashes seemed to me to rule out an aircraft.

This light has been see raising up and seen as a bright white light in the past and the colors could have been atmospheric the last two nights, though the sky was clear. Possible sighting of Venus, or Sirius, we suspect. PD

I was out for a girl's night with my friend, we came back in an uber around 1:00 AM. We pulled up to my driveway and as we were getting out I saw a bright orange flash of light fly over my house. I yelled to my friend to look, and as she did, a second one flied in the same direction. We had both had a few drinks so naturally we just played it off, even though I was slightly frazzled at this. About a minute after this had happened, the power in my house flashed and went out. Then I can hear my dog, Chris barking like crazy. Me and my friend then went inside, flashlight in hand. Chris is standing in the doorway, teeth bared, barking like hell. When we got in the living room, I shone the light and immediately saw a figure standing in the middle of my room. It was person shaped but it was very skinny and tall with long arms. I screamed so loud and my friend grabbed me and we ran outside. Chris stopped barking sometime around this time. While we were outside (for a! round 25 minutes) We saw the flash of light fly past in the opposite direction. Then when we worked up enough courage to go back inside, stiletto in hand as a weapon, The figure was no longer in my house. I was not able to sleep that night but nothing like that has happened since. When got up the next morning, the power was back on. I may have been a little drunk but both me and my friend are absolutely positive of what we saw. After that day, Chris started to get very hostile. He would bark all day, bit me several times, and just acted crazy and nothing like the sweet dog I knew and loved. He had to be put down yesterday after he killed a smaller neighborhood dog. I don't know exactly why he snapped, but I'm positive it had something to do with what I saw that night. Witness indicates that the date of the sighting is approximate. PD

There were 2 bright lights, that could only be seen through the telescope, and they were white. Then a third one appeared and they moved into a triangle formation, after chasing each other around in the sky just above the saddle of the mountain, when looking from Apache Junction. Once they settled into the triangle formation, they began "crashing" into each other, for lack of better description, almost in turns. When this happened, they would glow bright and then dim back down, and would change color as they got hit, almost like it was showing damage. They went from white, to green, to red to an orange or amber color. Every now and then, one of the lights would shoot off and disappear, and another would come back to replace it in just a few minutes. This went on for at least an hour, until 2 extremely bright lights flew in from the south, moving like helicopters, and chased the color changing lights behind the mountain, where they did not reappear from behind of. These lights were only visible through the telescope, but the flashes could be seen with the naked eye. My son was very freaked out, and I was texting multiple people a play-by-play as it was happening, eyes glued to the telescope. I was unable to get any photo documentation due to this fact. Times and dates are estimated, but within reasonable range. The event occurred between the middle of april to end of may, and it had been dark already for a while. I did not realize such a thing as this existed, or I would have reported this the moment it happened

A large flash on the northern horizon, similar to the aurora borealis but bigger and brighter origin on the horizon not in the sky. The event lit up the whole horizon due north of Clearwater Florida, no booms. THIS WAS BRIGHT! Others had to see this or cameras somewhere. Colors of the lights started bright white to a blue then reddish to green to a blue-green. We have a power station, crystal river, approximately 70 miles north. No media coverage as yet of the event.

While driving, I seen a flash about 50 miles in front of us. It was very very bright. It didn't move. Then the light disappear. People on Facebook where posting as far away as Pottstown seen it.
