At around 7pm, and I was running out to the car to grab groceries. As I was walking out of the garage, I noticed a moving light in the sky. It appeared high enough and fast enough to be your average passenger plane, although I couldn't make out a shape I could only see the lights. The lights, which were white, had and unusual flicker to them which caught my eye immediately. I reached into my car to grab some groceries and when I looked back in the sky the craft was now hovering. My roommate came outside to grab some groceries, when i pointed it out she could tell as well that it unusual. We watched it for about 10 minutes and it did nothing but flicker its lights and hover. We finished grabbing groceries and went inside for a few hours. I came back out about 2 hours later and the craft was still out, but had moved a large distance to the east. It was now darker, but I could clearly see the same flickering only this time there were white, green, and red lights. The craft did nothing more than flicker its lights and hover. I watched it with a camera this time for some magnification. The lights seemed to be in a triangle shape, thought I could still not make out a shape of a ship. The craft seemed to be slowly moving south and after about 10 minutes I went back inside. After 1 more hour, I came back outside, it was about 10:30-11:00pm, and far to my south was the same craft with the same white, red, and green flickering lights. It was almost past my horizon line at this point, but the flickering was easy to spot. The craft seemed to be slowing moving further south still. At no point during any of the spottings did the craft make any sound. When I look back on it, almost seems like it was trying to hide in the stars, with the way the lights were flickering, and watch the city. A pinpoint of light just below canis minor was slowly engulfed by a small white blurry puff. I pointed it out to my husband. We watched the object move in an accelerating straight line towards Regulus, just under Jupiter. As it moved steadily across the sky, the puff of whitish mist around it steadily grew in circumference. A tiny pinpoint of light could always be seen at the center of the growing "puff." The object moved steadily across the sky toward Regulus (I whipped out my star tracker app to track it), it suddenly slowed and came to a stop just under Jupiter. The puff continued to increase in circumference and dissipate. The object then began to move slowly again towards Regulus. As it approached Regulus it again slowed, stopped. The tiny pinpoint of light could still be seen, the white puff around the object had now grown in size to such a circumference it could barely be seen. The light then disappeard as the puff of white completely dissipated. ((ADDENDUM FROM MR. TED MOLCZAN, OF SEESAT-L)) Hello Peter, The fuel dump from the Centaur stage of last night's Atlas V launch, was widely visible to the unaided eye from N. America. It began on Mar 13 at about 04:15 UTC, and was visible for about an hour. Ed Cannon, a long-time member of SeeSat-L, described his sighting as follows: http://satobs.org/seesat/Mar-2015/0143.html The Centaur was on a high-elevation pass, that moved west to east across the southern sky. It climbed in altitude from about 2,500 km to more than 20,000 km, on its way to its apogee of about 70,000 km. I saw a bright object with sparks coming out of the rear. It was low in the sky. I thought maybe a meteor but it was unlike other meteors I have seen, as it was so low, and the tail was short. I rolled down the window of my vehicle thinking I may hear the sound of an impact. I did not.

945 am. I was looking ENE towards Downtown LA from the Venice/Mar Vista area. The LAX flight pattern coming in goes directly over here, Venice/Centinela Blvds. For 5 minutes something non-aeronautically flying around, jumping positions in an instant flittering around, getting as bright as a diamond or laser beam at times. Flying exactly the altitude and flight path of LAX arrivals. I don't think it was a drone, the brightness intensity was incredible on a sunny bright morning, the only time I have seen anything move like that was the 1989/90 Area 51 horizon object video and Lake Mathews, CA, after ((name deleted)) gave a SSBE speech Santa Monica hinting to go there. I called FAA L.A., they seemed unconcerned, 'always some things unexplainable'. With the drone, terrorist concerns, something anomalous in the flight parh, I was hoping to be taken more seriously. Wish I had a camera at the time to youtube post, will always regret. I don't know if this is related, but 2 hours later near Santa Monica Airport, I witnessed 3 black helicopters and 2 black Osprey/VTOLs ((deleted--flying)) towards the coast

My younger sister was in her room and noticed what looked like the lights of an airplane out the window, to the southwest, through a crack in her curtains. Given the small area for her to see the lights, she began to doubt it was from an airplane as they remained stationary, so she and my other sister went outside to see if they could get a better look. There was no sound to be heard, so they decided it wasn’t a helicopter either. As they continued to watch, the lights grew dimmer and disappeared. Also “05-04-2012 @22:15 - occurrence Santa Fe, Texas” a sighting of my own. Shape: Disk Duration:15-20 seconds ** Additional Details for Occurrence: 3/72015 20:40 hours Reported: 3/9/2015 Posted: 3/13/2015** The very next day, Sunday 3/8/2015, I was not at home, however my wife reported to me that she heard the very same intense noise occurrence’s twice, during the day while she was busy inside the house. The first one at approx. 08:30 hours and a second one at approx. 13:20. I asked her did she make it outside to see whether or not it may have been the same thing? She stated the first time she heard it she was headed toward the front door to look but about half way there the noise diminished as quick as it came about but shook the house and rattled windows just the same as the night before. Then later in the afternoon the same thing, so she didn’t even bother and sure enough had she tried but due to not being that close to either the front or back door to the house she would have missed it. Both occurrences this time would have been in broad daylight instead of after dark the evening before when she saw whatever this “perfectly round object” may have been in the sky. What has really played upon my mind was when this first occurrence woke me up out of a sound sleep as stated, sounding like a jet air liner flying way too low for whatever reason. The distinct high pitched sound of jet propelled turbine engines and of course the intense noise of something really cooking through the air. It wasn’t until I read another report from this web site which occurred on 3/6/2015 from Conroe, Texas, (the very day before) where the author apparently familiar as a former Navy cryptologist writes about the “Alert/Intercept single pilot Fighter Jet deployed in full afterburner” maneuvering through Houston IAH Airspace as such to gain maximum speed. That an alert exercise would not happen right through the holding pattern of Houston IAH. I take that to mean holding patterns of two significant airports that I know of in Houston, Bush International and William P. Hobby including what air traffic still coming and going from Ellington Field Air Force Base in South Houston and several other smaller private airports in the surrounding area. What little I know about the reported sightings of these unidentified flying “disk shaped” objects is usually they are silent. At best some sort of low pitched humming sound if that? Which perhaps explains what I heard, my wife heard and saw and perhaps what she as well, didn’t see? Could this have been the case regarding this ground shaking noise (jet engines)? One or more of our “fighter jets” that for whatever reason my wife didn’t or couldn’t see, perhaps perusing or attempting to this “perfectly round object” with the two red lights with a single bright white one in the middle as described in my original report? All kinds of questions arise in my mind as to just what the heck was this particular event? If this was the case then why couldn’t she see any jet in addition to when s looked up just in time to see its approach, then straight up as it flew directly overhead as “it then took off out of sight like a shooting star” regarding speed, sight, sound, everything to do with it, gone with in a split second! In attempts to rationalize the distinct sound of a jet engine winding down or up could this craft have perhaps been jet powered itself? Or if there was a fighter jet in pursuit it would seem logical enough reason for the distinct sound of jet turbines associated with it? Very plausible if it came in from the Gulf, which would have been in the same direction it came from and just a few miles away as “the Crow/or a disk in this case, flies” and basically took off as described, leaving any type of jet far, far, behind in an instant? What now stands out is why couldn’t a jet engine still be heard afterwards until fading in the distance in going away from a stationary position on the ground? There’s absolutely no doubt in my mind what so ever that my wife did not see, exactly what she described. Of which I failed to mention, even though the lighting conditions was dark the sky itself in the area we live was light enough to distinguish the difference in the configuration between a low flying air plane, helicopter, or as in this incident this blacked out perfectly round disk with the exception of said lights up front which may have assisted her in seeing the thing at all. Now she wishes she hadn’t seen it as she remained perplexed for a few days like I did upon seeing what I saw on 05-04-12 while on my way to work (a spectacular light show of these multicolored to white and ! then orange light orbs) one night and knows now how I felt for quite some time in trying to figure out what I saw and still to this very day. Upon checking back with this website (N-UFO Reporting Center) in seeing my report was posted regarding a 03/07/2015 Santa Fe, Texas sighting, I noticed the following reports of sightings reported also in the same general geographical area and close proximity to each other within one day plus apart. Note to Director of NUFORC: Please feel free to edit or not even post at all due to length. I will also include additional contact numbers in the proper fields of report submission form should an investigator already tried to contact me and couldn’t get through as I am willing to assist in any way with in my ability to perhaps do so. For any potential interested experienced investigator since there seems to be enough activity in this particular area of Texas (along The Gulf Coast and within a radius of I’d say 300 miles or so inland) not to mention Texas alone having such a high collective number in totality. I have taken the liberty to cut and paste some of your most recent posts from your website regarding this area for any investigator perhaps not recognizing all these towns and cities by name as to their proximity to each other and incorporating them into my supplement. By pulling up a map of Galveston County, Texas, and cross referencing with your website you will see that just about each and every city and unincorporated area (towns) it appears, has added multiple sightings over and over again. Especially regarding these orbs of light. I begin with the first one being most interesting to me as it is the one which coincides with the sighting my wife saw the very next day following this persons sighting regarding unusual activity of one of our own fighter jets. If this persons conclusion is correct, then just WHY was this fighter jet sent up in the manner described and for WHAT if anything it may have seen for itself? Not something most any of us could or would get an answer to in making a simple telephone call to the proper authority. Lucerne Valley is a small desert community. One night our dog wanted to go outside so we took it outside and we noticed this bright light toward the north east that had many different colors to it, like rainbow colors. This object started moving toward southwest which would be heading toward our direction and it moved really fast then it abruptly stopped in the sky very fast. It continued having a lot of like rainbow colors which was kind of interesting. After about another minute or two this object flew very fast toward the north east and then just disappeared in under 1 second. Probably about 20 seconds later we could see helicopters flying over toward where we seen this object and to us all we could see was the lights from the helicopters and they flew around there for about 1 minute I'd say and then they left. I really don't think it was a plane, helicopter or a drone because of how this object moved really fast and abruptly stopped while the whole time flashing these really bright different rainbow type colors. I truly couldn't make out the shape because how high up it was and all the different colors. It could be possible it was some government testing because there's a huge military base not so far away called " Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms " Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. The object move south then back north and then stayed hovered position. While the object was in the hovering position it would Flickr from time to time. At one point I saw three different colored lights come from it, orange, yellow and red in a trianglular pattern. After about 20 minutes it started fading into the horizon. The object appeared not to fall to the ground but hover away.

There were 3 of these lights floating above the clouds but were still visible, they were just hovering in circles for around 5 minutes or less. Everyone on the block saw it, coz they were all screaming in excitement when they saw 'em. Hence 50+ witnesses. We are unconvinced that this is a serious-minded report. I also noticed that another truck had pulled off to the side of the road. I passed the truck and stopped also and tried to look for the lights but I didn't see them anymore. The black truck had left and I also left. I don't know if they seen the lights, too, but we both stopped in the same area. I went home got ready for work and recently looked at the 11 second film and was happy to see I did capture it. It looks flat like when I first seen them, but in the picture (still frame) I can see the contrails of each light. I don't want to here Chinese lanterns either. They use that excuse for everything now. I would like a real educated guess. I think ufo cause it just vanished after like 30 to 40 seconds. Do ur own still frame and tell me what it is please. I was walking my dog this evening when I noticed a red light in the sky overhead. It didn’t appear to be moving. I found that odd, so we stopped to observe. After a few seconds it moved to the east. Ok, I thought, probably a helicopter. I continued to watch because I don’t remember seeing a static red light in the sky before. The craft then made a 90 degree maneuver very quickly and then continued to move east. At this point I noticed a blue white strobe at the front of the craft. As I watched this craft move east it would stop entirely, change directions, and then continue to head east toward Lake Washington. It appeared to be zig-zagging, doing course corrections with very fast and tight moves. I thought perhaps it was a drone, or maybe still a helicopter, but I have never seen anything maneuver like that, stop cold and then continue to move again. I think the craft was about 1500 feet in the air, and it was moving about the speed of a helicopter, though it would accelerate and then slow down again. All I saw were the lights, no fuselage. The moon was full and very bright, but this was very easy to see.

Watched a bright green light moving east. Through binoculars could not see a shape but there were two closely spaced parallel green lights. It moved from east to south in one operation. Became stationary momentarily when lights turned bright red. Then lights turned bright green once again and it moved directly east again until it was blocked by tall building. 2nd sighting in two consecutive days at approximately the same time.

I saw an unidentified object on the evening of Sunday (sic. Saturday), February 28, 2015, in the sky over the Rosewood Community west of Goldsboro, NC. Estimated position was Latitude: 35.3732178, Longitude: -78.0755461. Night was cold (~40 degrees) and partly cloudy. My son also saw the object and agreed that he wasn’t familiar with it. By the time I got binoculars, the object was obscured by trees, so I never got a closer look. The object consisted of three lights: two small white lights that flickered rapidly, and a larger orange, or amber, light that pulsated. I could not make out a shape, just lights. The object moved very slowly from northeast to southwest. At times, I wasn't sure it was moving at all. I kept checking it against fixed stars. It seemed to be moving too slowly to be a conventional aircraft. It also made no sound. We saw other aircraft in the air at the same time, but they were obviously conventional aircraft. The UFO was not. Given our proximity to an Air Force base, I suppose it could have been some type of unconventional aircraft, but I’ve not seen one like it before. Perhaps it was very, very high, and that’s why it seemed to be moving so slowly and silently. I HAVE seen some kind of experimental aircraft in our skies before. I’ve seen the glow from jet engines suddenly wink out and the planes go both black and completely silent at night. I assume it’s some kind of new propulsion system. I asked somebody who has connections with the base if they fly test flights at night and he just smiled knowingly and said, “No comment.” So who knows. I am 50ish, male, well-educated, and reasonably sane. My son is a teenager. Both of us have good vision and are somewhat skeptical about paranormal stuff.

I woke up my husband and we went into the kitchen to look again. I looked up and that green glow was all the way up as far as I could see on the branches off all the trees in backyard. I looked to both of my neighbors' house and I saw a few of the circular patterns but not as prominent. I was in awe. I just went back to bed woke up at 4 am and nothing was there. Lights suddenly turned bright red in an instant. Object about minute later came to an abrupt halt. The object made zero sounds and was very close by. When we pointed at it and made a comment about it not even moving a tiny bit on a very windy night it dropped very quickly straight down almost like an elevator with zero hesitation dropping out of sight. We ran to the street to get a better look and the object shot straight up into the sky and out of site. Never seen anything like it before.

My friend and I were driving on Highway 143 towards St. Louis and saw some bright flashing lights in the sky to the side of the road. We pulled off on Blackburn Road and stopped the car to watch. There were numerous bright flashing lights putting on quite a light show. These lights flashed singly and in pairs and then several would appear in a straight line. At one time the lights turned red and formed a spiral made of a lot of small red lights. We did take a video and it is quite impressive. We watched the show for about 45 minutes then continued on our way. They were still flashing as we left. There is little out there besides fields and it was very cold around 10 degrees. I have never seen anything like this in my life. We have invited the witness to share the video with our Center. We may post it, if it is of high-quality. PD

The object was going south at a slow rate of speed. It stopped came back north in a straight line for ten seconds or so and then disappeared. It was too bright to see the shape when i looked at it with binoculars and it had no blinking lights, but it did seem to have a light shining upwards out the top. It made no sound.

I am an airline captain. My co-pilot and I were on our way from LAX-PDX at FL 380 and we were in the Mt. Shasta area. It was a smooth flight and very little ATC communications were going on. We decided to look out and up at the night sky for falling stars and or satellites passing over head. We were heading about 310 degrees and to our 2 o'clock high, maybe 50 degrees up from the horizon I noticed 2 brighter than normal stars and mentioned to my co-pilot that I didn't remember ever seeing those 2 stars that were brighter than the surrounding stars in the background. The 2 lights were approximately an inch apart in the windscreen and the size if normal stars. Just as I said that one of the "stars" just dimmed out over about a 10 second time span followed by the other one dimming out completely in about 10 seconds also. The stars, now obviously lights we not in motion, they were not satellites and were not falling stars. They were as stationary as th! e stars in the background. We were flying in crystal clear skies and were not flying though any clouds whatsoever. These 2 lights were not following the typical west to east orbital path as most satellites do and were just sitting there kind of like ships hiding in plain sight. The altitude of the lights appeared to be outside of the atmosphere. We were flying at 38,000, approximately 7 miles up and these were at least 100,000 feet up. The thing was they were extremely bright and not moving. Mankind does not have craft that can fly at that altitude and not be moving. We spoke with the witness, and airline captain, and he sounded to us to be quite sober-minded, and quite serious about his report. PD

There was no sound ... not even airplane sounds. As it passed by a a star (or maybe it was Venus?) it appeared to cover the view of the star. This is when I became really convinced that I was not looking at 3 separate planes but, instead, a single and very large object. I then saw some kind of plane appear from the left of the unidentified object. I could gauge any distance. It may have just been a regular plane. The object moved forward and behind the tree line, leaving me unable to observe it.
