August 3, 2014 · 9:45 PM · FIREBALL
Hyannis, MA
At about 9:45 pm, our adult daughter noticed something in the sky that looked like a red/orange fireball. We all (four adults) looked and spotted a second one that looked like the first one. They were both far up in the sky, moving rapidly, in a northeast direction. We watched for about two minutes, until we weren’t able to spot them any longer, probably due to the hazy conditions.

I seen a streak of light to the left side of the moon coming from space straight down into the horizon behind some houses. I was traveling at a speed I thought I would never see in my life. Silent. There one moment and gone the next.
August 3, 2014 · 9:30 PM · FIREBALL
Martinsburg, WV
My husband and I were sitting on our back deck enjoying a cigar and a cup of coffee, discussing our plans for this week. We have a large hill behind our house along with a few other homes. We have a lot of planes that pass over our house due to the military air base next door, I always enjoy looking up at the different planes going by. I happened to notice a small plane passing over but as it just went by the corner of my eye straight over the hill was what looked like a fireball falling rapidly. It was all white and no red or orange or yellow. but looked as if an object was falling to the ground. I saw no more as it either became fizzled out, disappeared or actually made contact with the ground. Right before we saw this object we had taken our puppy inside because he was trying desperately to get back into the house, whining, clawing and scratching at the sliding glass door. He loves the outdoors but for some reason he did not want to be outside at all. Just weird.

August 3, 2014 · 8:00 PM · FIREBALL
Wilmington, DE
My fiancee and I were heading North on Rt. 7 (Limestone Road) just south of Rt. 2 (Kirkwood Highway). We pulled into the Shell gas station located at the 7/2 intersection. As we pulled up to the pump and he got out, I looked out towards the strip mall across rt. 2 where A.C. Moore and Kohl's is, and I saw what looked like 2 glowing balls of fire. They were perfectly round, fairly large, and flickered just like a candle flame would. It was not an on off twinkling that you see from airplanes. They were moving slowly from the North to the South, the second ball seemed to moving just slightly faster then the first, as the gap between the 2 seemed to be shrinking. Not sure if that was because of the angle I was seeing them from or not. I sat there watching them until they disappeared over the awning of the gas station. Witness indicates that the date is approximate. PD

August 2, 2014 · 9:45 PM · FIREBALL
Fishkill, NY
I was heading north on route 9, and I had stopped at the light on route 9 and route 52. I watched a moving round burning object moving slowly over Fishkill heading in a northern direction. I saw it outside my drivers window. This lasted about 1 minute and then just disappeared. It definitely wasn't a plane or helicopter, because it was too low for a plane and didn't move like a helicopter. I also listened for any sounds of a plane or helicopter and I didn't hear neither. I took a picture and video but it didn't come out too well on my camera phone.

Topeka, KS
I arrived home around 21:45 on Saturday, Aug. 2nd. I drove car into garage, parked my car, went to the back to remove items. As I rounded back of car I noticed an orange light glowing in the sky, heading towards my home. I proceeded to my driveway area and watched briefly before I turned on my phone video. I captured the floating object, which continued on a northerly direction. I stopped video and continued to watch, and it floated for another 10-15 sec before it blinked on/off, then finally disappeared. I began walking back to my garage, looked again in the same direction and saw another orange object floating in the sky. I attempted to video tape it, but couldn't get it in my viewfinder. It started a NW direction, but soon went north, then north east and did the same blinking, before it disappeared. Both were at around a 30-40 degree angle from the horizon, with perhaps a 500' height above ground.
August 2, 2014 · 9:00 PM · FIREBALL
De Soto, WI
Approximately 9:00 pm on Saturday, August 2, 2014, two large, bright, non-blinking, silent orange fireball-type lights flew over the Mississippi River valley from the Iowa side to near the town of De Soto, Wisconsin. The first light flew quickly and as it came to the Wisconsin side of the river turned northeast and rapidly faded from view. The second light came right on its heels. This light moved much slower and followed the exact same flight path as the first. We brainstormed the possibilities of what the lights could have been and both agreed that we had never seen anything like them before. I was on my patio which faces south of 1800 W Cleveland, the wind was stating to blow a storm was coming in, then a pair of lights came up from the tree a block south, one was green and one was red they looked seperate but had the exact same movement. First I noticed it come from the south side of the tree, its a bushy tall tree so like 150 feet tall and sits in the back of a vacant home on Grace. The lights came half the distance closer to my patio at one point, staying at the same height then went back to the other side of the tree and went behind, then it went up real fast like it was propelled. I'm from England but moved here 12 years ago and have gotten used to heavy airplane and helicopter traffic and this was neither because it was only a block away and didn't hear anything. It went on for several minutes I thought it was longer but can't remember. It seems as though it was looking for something in the tree the way it went back and forth and behind it. The red and green lights were just glowing and basically and nothing else was seen. I find it hard to describe.

Indio, CA
Was in back yard looked up and what appeared to be a helicopter but bright continous light (no flashing indicators) I followed the object as it was heading from the west to east as I then noticed 4 others following same flight pattern. the objects flew east then b-lined upward due south. The object was foreign enough for me to run and grab my wife who also acknowledged it as a foreign object. The objects were round almost fire burning with zero sound and fluid movement. Both wife & I are very skeptical of things like this but it was not anything we have ever seen before. There had to be other sightings of this as they were all to obvious. Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, FL
I was fishing at Anglin's fishing pier early in the morning when I saw the object, it was somewhere between 3 - 5 am. It was a slow day for fishing so I stared at the beach waiting for a bite. From the point of view on the pier to the beach, a blue ball of light streaked above the left side of the beach. It moved from top right to left arcing downward, it left a red trail as it moved and then disappeared. It moved very fast and I expected a crash or some kind of noise but there was none. The guy fishing right next to me witnessed it at the same time. We asked around but no one else seemed to see the blue object that we saw. It was witnessed by an Oriental male and an African-American male. Later on, a man came on the pier and claimed to have seen a red UFO on the opposite side of the beach around the same time. I did not see this object at all. He showed me a picture of it, I cannot recall the exact shape that I saw but I remember that it was metallic. He was a Caucasian man.
