Fireball over Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, FL

I was fishing at Anglin's fishing pier early in the morning when I saw the object, it was somewhere between 3 - 5 am. It was a slow day for fishing so I stared at the beach waiting for a bite. From the point of view on the pier to the beach, a blue ball of light streaked above the left side of the beach. It moved from top right to left arcing downward, it left a red trail as it moved and then disappeared. It moved very fast and I expected a crash or some kind of noise but there was none. The guy fishing right next to me witnessed it at the same time. We asked around but no one else seemed to see the blue object that we saw. It was witnessed by an Oriental male and an African-American male. Later on, a man came on the pier and claimed to have seen a red UFO on the opposite side of the beach around the same time. I did not see this object at all. He showed me a picture of it, I cannot recall the exact shape that I saw but I remember that it was metallic. He was a Caucasian man.
