I went out side with my 8 year old daughter at about 9:00 p.m., 8/11/2014, to look at the supermoon. I looked up and saw a very bright red light moving from north to south over the house. I told my daughter to look at the airplane. It was moving across the sky directly overhead very fast. I looked like the speed of a low flying aircraft, but was not low. I watched for a minute then noticed another following it, and then another. They were all in a line and quite a ways behind each other. All took the same path. I would guess it to be at 10,000 feet and extremely bright orange. There was fairly heavy clouds cover to the south, and they disappeared behind the clouds before reaching the horizon. I thought they were below the clouds due them being as bright as they were. I watched them until they disappeared in the clouds in the southern sky. My wife was in the front of the house and asked me if I had seen them. She said they looked like flares shooting out of the ground! when she first saw them. I would agree that it had the color and brightness of a flare. It flew like an extremely fast aircraft, but I never heard a sound. The brightness of the orange light, the speed by which they moved, and the lack of any audible noise struck me as odd. I have never seen anything quite like this. ((ADDENDUM FROM WITNESS)) You are correct. It was the 10th, at about 21:00. National Weather Service shows skies were broken with clouds around 7,000-10,000 feet. ((END ADDENDUM))

Object suddenly appeared and started to move in a lineear direction. It was like flying fireball that had pulsations at it's lights. After about a one minute flight it suddenly diasappeared. The object had orange lights. It had a shape like a globe. I was on vacation with my cousin during this event and had a local person with us. She told us that these objects were being observed offen. Anyway in Turkey Bodrum is known with high UFO activity. After the first event we started to watch the object. Following days the object appeared at similar times with same features. After a few days no further observation happened. Witness indicates that the date of the sighting is approximate. PD

Between 23:30 - 23:45 saw 2 red-orange fireball shapes, 1 at a time about 5-10 minutes apart. They flew South to North along the coast. It didn't fade out of sight but rather simply disappeared. It moved slower than an airplane but faster than a helicopter. Absolutely no sound.

On Saturday, August 9, 2014, a bright orange fireball came from above the tree line and slowly came towards us flying low just over tree and roof tops. As it got closer, it veered off to the left getting lighter as it quickly ascended, and then finally disappeared. Another fireball appeared within seconds from the same tree line and traveled the same path turning left and getting lighter in color as it quickly ascended and disappeared. There was a super moon during this event. There were no air craft in the vicinity and fireballs were silent.

On Saturday, August 9, 2014, at 11:15 pm, a bright orange fireball came from the tree line and came towards us flying (south) slowly and low just above tree and roof tops when it veered to the left (east) and getting lighter in color as it then quickly ascended away from the earth until it disappeared. Seconds later a second bright orange fireball appeared and traveled in the same pattern. There were no aircraft in the vicinity. The fireballs were silent.

It veered left (east) getting lighter in color and then quickly ascended until it disappeared. Seconds later, a second fireball appeared from the same treeline and traveled in the same path as the first one. There were no air craft in the vicinity. The fireballs were silent.

I went out on my front porch to smoke a cigarette and talk to a family memeber, while we was talking we noticed in the sky a very bright red (almost like a plane on fire) circle going from east of the sky to the west not traveling very fast but was much closer than a plane... It was the for a solid 2 minutes at least and then completely went away. I'm not sure what it was but it was very odd and I have never seen anything like it before, and while this was happening, there was no sound or smoke or anything no trail behind the object, but it did have sorta like a haze all around it. It was completely by itself and looked almost like a air plane or something on fire but I know for sure it was not a plane... This object was entirely too close, and was moving faster than I've ever seen a plane move in the sky. It was rather big, too, about the size of a penny in you hold a penny in your hand up to the sky. It was there, then gone.. Craft appeared to be low and dropping as though it was something on fire, and streams shooting downward from it. It was traveling south to north and then It seemed to pickup elevation and speed but continued to appear as though it was burning.

Went to sit on our porch, as I stepped outside, I saw right above me in the sky, what looked like 2 orange/red glowing fireballs. My husband ran back into the house to get his camera, but by the time he got back and was ready to film, they were gone. They kept the same height - never went up or down as they passed over our house, slightly turning right until we lost sight of them. No noise, no engine - same speed....was unreal and what an experience to have!!!

At approximately 9:40 p.m. on the northside of Kaukauna, WI, (in the country), as I was going outside to leave my parent’s home, I saw what appeared initially to be a formation of fireballs slowly moving through the sky. I describe them as fireballs because they were orange in color and appeared to be glowing. They were also soundless. They were much larger than the stars and planets in the sky; if I had to estimate I would say they were the size of 10 stars together. There were two of these objects in the lead side by side and another 5–6 that followed. My mother and I first saw these objects in the east and they were traveling upward and northwest. They appeared to be flying at the height of a low flying airplane. After approximately 1-2 minutes of seeing them, they faded out, once they got to the same point in the sky, except for one near the middle of the formation, which lasted about 40 seconds longer. The whole experience of seeing these flying objects lasted approximately 4-5 minutes. We spoke via telephone with this witness, and she sounded to us to be quite serious-minded. We suspect that she is an excellent witness. She is a medical professional. PD

On the evening of August 8, at approximately 9:40 p.m., my daughter was leaving my house, and I followed behind to walk her to her car. She looked up as she was walking and commented “what’s that?” I then looked up and saw three bright orange colored lights in the sky with two moving parallel together and another following behind as in a triangular shape. As we continued to watch what I now call fireballs, I saw four more that seemed to originate from a lower altitude and climb higher following behind the original three lights. As the lights climbed higher into the almost completely clear blue sky, each one took its turn fading into nothing. One of the lights seemed to glow longer than the others before finally fading out. As I watched all of this taking place, my daughter had taken out her cellphone and was videotaping. The lights are visible on her video, but are not of the intensity that could be seen with the naked eye. These lights made no sound.

Walking the dog while keeping an eye out for Perseid meteors. Spot 4 orange fireballs moving south to north. Steady orange glow, no noise. Appear to slow down, 3 fireballs form a triangle for about 10 seconds. All 4 move off to the northeast while a 5th craft appears from the south and follows them. They appear to be following the flight path towards Newark Airport, but are too close together for commercial aircraft and definitely did not maneuver like airplanes.

My son and his two friends called me excitedly to come look. We saw two big orange orbs - almost looked like Chinese lanterns, lit up - moving in a Southeasterly direction at a fairly rapid clip - I went to get my camera and husband, which took me about 15 seconds and by the time I got back, they were almost out of sight, probably over East Mesa. They were moving side by side and, to me, looked too close together to be aircraft - besides, they were close enough to clearly distinguish that they were round in shape. Have never seen anything like it!

Was leaving work driving down Washington St. By the library, and as I look up, I saw 3 orange balls sitting in 1 spot side by side. At this point I slow my car completely down and they appear to vanish within the clouds. As the 3 vanish I see another appear within the cloud and in seconds I see a 5th one that was extremely bright orange but it look as if it had came from the ground, and it was rising higher and higher.

At first I thought it was a firework but It just stayed there for a while and then it disappeared by itself. It was like someone dimmed the lights. The object was falling to Earth in straight line or slight arc convex down. The object had an irregular shape that appeared to be pure white flames trailing it with hue changes of the white color as if on fire. It was either fairly close or large and further away. Estimate 2-4 miles.

we observed 3 different fireball shaped objects flew straight up from the horizon then flew across the sky until it vanished behind a cloud. seperate instances each happening within a few mins of each other. the second of three seemed to burn out before it vanished behind the cloud cover. At first I thought it was a fighter jet but I know it couldn't have been because it was moving straight up and it was completely quiet. Within 35 seconds it was out of sight. I've never seen anything like this before.

40 years of part time sky watching stars space station meteor shower had never seen a UFO. Taking garbage out around 4 am I notice a bright orange light to the low east where Venus has been appearing about 6 am. seems stationary I try and rationalize well is there a utility light in that direction no there isn't. All of the sudden it is fading and in less than 2 minutes it looks like a fading star. I have watched the space station take 6 minutes across the sky and end up trailing off like a star. Guess there is a first time for everything. In going to your sight I see others have seen familiar sights. Silent bright orange no idea how far away it was.

When I was sitting out side smoking looking at the sky, I saw two round balls of fire, they were moving slow and kind of spinning. It was floating very low to the ground. It looked as if both orbs went to land somewhere and disappeared. It wasn't that dark outside when this happened, anybody standing there could have seen this..

I was out with my dog when I saw it behind the Chatham County, Chapel Hill, NC, Walmart near the intersection of U.S. 15-501 Hwy and Smith level Rd in Chapel Hill, NC. The UFO seemed to blink out and only lasted a few seconds. It's trajectory seemed to be moving at a fast slightly downward angle, as if it was losing altitude. It appeared to be very large and was moving very fast at a low altitude. It was completely silent and moving faster than a military attack jet.
