West Haven, CT

We saw two fire balls side by side, then two minutes two more fire balls side by side and then 2 minutes later a single fire ball then another and another. A total of seven. They were not that high and there was silence no sound of engines. They all traveled the same exact route and then disappeared.

Eastvale, CA

My boyfriend and I looked out my bedroom window that faced the mountains in Eastvale, CA. The past two nights we have been seeing a fireball like light object flashing in the sky. We are currently watching it right now. We have watched it come and go tonight and last night. As I am typing this it is still currently in the sky. We ran out at earlier in the night to get a better view, but by the time we ran outside it disappeared again. This object is bright red. It fades in and fades out. It starts out as a pin sized red dot in the sky and then it grows big. We watched it flash so bright it grew 10 times the size from the tiny dot and it gets brighter and more red when it has big flashes. This is the second night that it has appeared in the sky. There is no sound and it appears to be hovering. It comes and goes every so often, but remains in the same exact position in the sky. We were curious of the location of the flashing fire like object, so we! used my iPhone compass. From my viewpoint in my bedroom the bright red flashing light that changes color is exactly 0 degrees North on my Compass. Exactly. It is very strange. I have witness multiple orange fireballs by my home in the same area, but they normally rise up in the sky one by one and disappear in the horizon after about a minute. This object just sits in the horizon flashing bight red, but changes size as well. It looks like a bright red star on earth. It disappears for an hour or two then reappears for about 20-30 minutes at a time. As strange as this may sound. It seems to know we are looking at it. I wonder if anyone else has reported this object. I felt the need to write this post considering its the second night in a row it has been hovering near my home. I see a lot of strange things in the sky here in Eastvale, but I never saw this type of hovering red fir ball.

Garden City, MO

Sitting on a patio visiting with family at night, we saw several (6-8?) weird, glowing orange spheres slowly move across the sky in succession. We couldn't tell how big they were or how far away with nothing to give them scale. It took a few minutes for each to come from one direction and disappear into the distance in the other direction. They didn't make a sound. In attendance were a 45-year-old electrical engineer, a 43-year-old securities attorney and the attorney's aunt and uncle who live there.

Sherman Oaks, CA

After hearing all the reports I finally saw it for myself, the much talked about group of red orbs flying across the night sky. At approximately 10:25 pm PST on Saturday, September 27, 2014, I was looking south out the window of my apartment, located in Sherman Oaks, CA, as I usually do listening to late night radio. My window faces the Hollywood Hills. I am on the second floor and I can look over the rooftops of the building next to me with an unobstructed view of the night sky. Looking out at the night lights and aerial comings and goings I noticed three red lights pop on in the night sky. They didn’t enter in from one side of the window but rather popped on as if they either just showed up in that location or decided to turn on their lights. If one was to try to pinpoint the location I would say the lights came on over the San Fernando Valley between Laurel Canyon and Van Nuys Blvd. The lights moved from east to west. The lights were a milky red color glowing color. Red balls of light as I’ve heard many see through out the United States. They stayed in a V formation and kept pace with each other with none of them pulling away from or falling behind the others and they all kept the same altitude. They moved at a brisk pace and there was no sound as one would hear with a helicopter or plane. This lasted for about twenty seconds before it dawned on me what I was seeing. I moved to a westerly facing window but the tree blocked my view and I did not see them again. Having spent hours looking out this window for many years I know that these were not helicopters as the lights were not those of the numerous helicopters that I have seen at night, nor were they the lights of a low flying place as I could see sky between the red lights. My best guess is that they were about half a mile away from my location and flying maybe 200 to 300 feet off the ground. I have worked in the film industry for over 20 years, mainly in the field of visual effects, and I know of no technological set up that would let one pull this off over a densely populated area and just below the flight paths of Bob Hope and Van Nuys airport. And to that point, having heard and seen everything from Lear jets to military and commercial aircraft to news and police helicopters I can without a doubt say that what I saw was nothing like anything I’ve seen in the sky.

Providence, RI

My wife and I were walking along the Providence river on South Water Street on the 27th after attending Waterfire in the city. We were approximately 100-150 yards away from the bridge where the Waterfire festival ends, near the pavilion next to the river that marks the place where the Gaspee was burned by RI colonists in the early 1770s. I looked up and noticed a large commercial airliner flying overhead, perhaps approaching TF Green airport in Warwick which was flying fairly low, but that quickly disappeared over the bay and we continued on our walk. As we were walking north towards the bridge, a group of three younger guys were walking towards us and one said “What is that? UFOs?” The other guys laughed, but we turned our heads and saw 3 bright orange lights in the sky in a triangular pattern…approx 100-150m high (but could be higher…hard to tell). They made no noise and as we watched another guy (older who was walking his dog) came along behind us and saw we were looking at something and looked up and said something like “What the heck is that?” We said we had no idea. Slowly, the color faded from bright orange, almost flamelike to white and the first two dots continued down the river towards the harbor/Narraganset Bay while one stayed suspended for a minute or to (I took a quick video with my iPhone of that one) and then it slowly faded away. I wanted to blame the appearance on Waterfire, thinking that perhaps they were large embers suspended in the sky but there was no major breeze that would blow these downriver 100-150 yards and they all turned white at the same time. Finally the one light in the sky faded out and we turned and walked away. This was the 3rd UFO I’ve seen in my life BTW….but was very strange as it was seen in such a cosmopolitan area, by so many people (the young college aged guys, the dog walker and us), but we were literally only 300-450 feet away from hundreds, perhaps thousands of people.

We saw a line of orange red fireball shaped objects over the harbor in port Jefferson. Then the objects huddled together and hovered. There was no aircraft sounds. Then the crafts or bright lights as they appeared went into a V shaped formation and all of a sudden they disapated and went straight up so quickly that they became tiny red dots and disappeared. The whole incident lasted about 15 minutes.

Boston, MA

Me and my mother were driving north bound on i93 over the bridge coming from quincy into boston when we both noticed what could only be initially described as "a kite on fire" BUT after taking into consideration the time of day (6 pm) and the fact that it was moving south at what seemed to be 20 to 40 mph at what seemed to be 40 to 100 feet i the air. This was very strange and fascinating. I'm both perplexed and compelled to find out what that was!!!

Gray, ME

I looked up in the sky and thought I was looking at a bright star. It was a bright ball of white light coming from the north. It slowly banked to the east and went over the tree tops and out of site. I'm not sure how high it was or the exact size. Its a ball of light thats the same which ever side you see. It has no flashing lights like an aircraft would have. Also this summer in July around 2300 I saw the same type of light at about the same height. This one was moving west to east at the same slow speed. On this occasion I had a witness with me that also saw the light. I did not hear any sound from the objects on either occasion.

Coeur d'Alene, ID

I walked out onto balcony to smoke and two bright orange fireballs flying, one following the other, as if intelligently controlled, however no sound was apparent. Both craft traveled in a northwest direction at approximately 5000 to 6000 feet elevation. Both craft disappeared after passing our 90 degree aspect. These we're NOT conventional aircraft, as I am an ex-military air defense artillery gunner and a trained observer.

I was driving west on I-20 when a very bright light began falling from the sky. It fell fast and was very bright. When the natural moment of impact should have taken place, all of the drivers on the interstate hit their brakes at the same time. The light, as it got to its brightest, disappeared right before it would've hit the ground.

Kuna, Idaho, September 22, 2014, at approximately 10:30 pm, my husband and I saw a large orange pinkish glow float thru the air from West to East. We were able to watch it for about 15 seconds before it was either out of sight, or disappeared. We were in our backyard In Kuna Idaho watching the stars. We enjoy laying in our hammock at night relaxing and watching the night skies. We have seen shooting stars and satellite activity often, but this was the first sighting such as this.

Corinth, NY

My wife and I were just next door at my mother in laws house. I came home first, when my wife frantically called for me to come outside. I believe there were 6 orange glowing lights in all. We observed them looking south, and they were traveling towards the east. They seemed to be following each other. The first light suddenly stopped, and dropped straight down out of sight. The remainder of the lights headed in the same direction as the first one, but then headed up and out of sight. The entire episode lasted between 5 to seven minutes.

Boise, ID

September 21 2014 To whom it may concern, Last night at approximately 10:40 p.m. on Saturday September 20th 2014, I witnessed a circular object hovering above a building right outside my work place. I had just clocked off from work and went outside to grab a change of clothes. Four of my co-workers were outside smoking a cigarette. When I came out they were all staring up above the building directly across from the south side employee parking lot which was approximately 30 feet from where we were. As I glanced up to see what they were looking at I was immediately shocked at what I saw, a bright orange circular ball. The object appeared to be the same height as a small aircraft but with a much brighter light. It was bright orange but not solid orange. It had changing orange hues within the craft, similar to the movements of fire, except that it looked more solid then fire. The center appeared to be changing from a darker orange to lighter orange. The object hovered for about 30 seconds from the time I stepped outside to witness it. After hovering the object took off at a very fast speed high up into the night sky. You could still see the faint orange ball traveling for about two minutes before completely disappearing. At that point you wouldn’t have been able to differentiate it from a star. The best description I can give you is that it looked like a hovering fireball, however when it zoomed off there was no orange tracer like fire would leave. Also, while the orange ball was hovering there was very slight horizontal movement from left to right. My co-workers and I agree that it mostly resembled a floating fireball but with a solidity to it.
