The sky was pitch black. I saw a long string of lights, uniformly spaced in the western sky. The lights were moving slowly to the east. As the lights passed overhead they disappeared and the sky returned to grey and stars were visible again I was able to briefly video on my phone but it seemed like it want permitting me to film [NUFORC annotation: Starlink - Certain]

My eldest daughter was visiting my in-laws with several of her siblings, when they spotted approximately 3 dozen lights flying across the sky in a tight, linear formation. Other lights circled around the formation in every direction. She took two, short videos of the event. Then, after the formation of lights disappeared in the distance, another cluster of lights appeared about 10 minutes later. Before she could shoot video of those lights, they shot off in every direction at a high rate of speed. None of the objects made any noise. Some of the lights travelled in rapidly changing directions, and when they dispersed, it was nearly instantaneous. [NUFORC annotation: Starlink - Certain]

I was connecting the battery to my grandson's gator when I looked up and saw what I first thought to be an incoming meteor. After realizing it wasn't typical I ran inside and grabbed my camera. I tried to get a video but only got a very poor photograph. The lights were only one color, white, they moved in a very perfect line on a North / East direction. At my location I see and hear the fighter jets from Patuxent three times a day, this there was no noise. I could not get an accurate count as there were so many, the slow speed is what really surprised me and that it didn't break up like one would expect from a meteor. I have no idea what I just saw! It did not seem to be a trail but a long "stick" of lights. [NUFORC annotation: Starlink - Certain]

Me and two of my friends were outside of my car in Rutherford, NJ. When my one friend said to look up and we all saw a straight line of unevenly spaced white, bright circles. It's unknown how many there were but from my video I could count at least 22 visible circles. they were moving in a completely straight line at a constant velocity and seemed very high up in the air. we watched it/ them cut across the sky for about a minute before it/ them just disappeared. We live in a very bright area where seeing stars is hard, these could not be confused with stars due to the fact that they were moving and could also not be confused for a plane, we see plenty of planes in our area and none have ever looked like this. Star lit night. I was looking at venus and jupiter. I saw what looked like an interrupted contrail illuminated by the stars. Looking closer it was a series of lights moving in unison. I snapped a picture and tried to video, but the lights just disappeared. The picture shows the lights in a line You can blow the picture up to see it better. Went outside to let my dog out and when I looked up I saw string of about 20 round lights travelling across the sky. Somewhat evenly spaced out in a straight line. Lasted about 20 seconds. Thought it went behind some clouds but never came out? Other normal stars were clearly visible so don’t know where they disappeared to? Looked all over sky for about another 5 minutes to see if they reappeared anywhere else but no sign of them. Very unusual to say the least. Long line of lights (maybe 12 or more) moving from the west, coming over a farmers field. Lights were white, solid, no other colors noted and it was moving slow, perpendicular to the ground then whatever this was changed course and started to move north, slightly angled, moved over a tree line and then disappeared. My wife and I were outside comet and meteor hunting. We spotted a long line of lights, bunched together. The lights were grouped randomly, in no particular pattern, other than together in a long, cigar- like pattern. As they moved to the east, over our farm, they slowly faded. We could still make out the vague shape of an object moving and blocking stars until clouds and the light from nearby town made it impossible to see. We can't be sure of the altitude, probably very high, which would make this object an exceptionally huge one. Very strange, glad my wife saw it too, otherwise she wouldn't have believed me. Entire sighting lasted about 2 minutes, lights were only visible for about 30 seconds. [NUFORC annotation: Starlink - Certain]

object more than 1,000' long x 20'wide (maybe more it was immense), straight row of lights in a pattern of dots and dashes down the spine (but not exactly a dot dash pattern just closest I can describe to the pattern), approached then hovered over us. Strange mechanical (?) noise above. Lights slowly went out from one end to the over, shape disappeared with the lights. Noise is still on going as I type. We have a large outdoor patio with a 12' tall stone wood fired oven decorated across the dome of the oven with Christmas lights in a white diamond pattern. It has attracted aerial drones, small personal planes and the like before, but we've never seen anything like this. Just trying to cook pizza for dinner. [NUFORC annotation: Starlink - Certain]

I was driving down the road and looked up and there was a long line of lights underneath a star. It looked like 100 stars in a perfectly straight line and it just sat there. I thought it was maybe a plane or the streak from a plane that had come through or something like that but it was all lights. Then all of a sudden after about a minute it’s slowly starts disappearing from one end to the other. Like all the bulbs were going out or it turned or backed up and was flying away or something. Several of us watched set of round white globe shaped lights move as if connected across the sky in a straight line at exact same altitude. A couple of the lights appeared almost semi transparent on the sides. No sound audible. Altitude difficult to guess but each round light about size of car light if 3 blocks away. Lights did not sparkle more of a consistant glow. Group of lights stayed in consistant row next to each other as they moved at same height across the sky. At dark: One long strip of bright white lights moving in NE direction, very slowly. Quiet, no sound whatsoever. Rather low hanging, about 10k ft. Observer 1 saw one large white lighted object first while driving home at night. Called second observer at home to have them go outside and look as well. Observer 2 while at home turned all lights off, went outside saw a plane in the sky. They continued to look for another object and then saw a very large long white lighted rectangular object in the sky while on the phone with observer 1 who was also seeing the same thing. Note both observers were about 3 mi apart from each other. The object was North, slightly NW. The lights appeared to be very tall and parallel to each other and they seemed to run the entire length of the object. While continuing to look at the object in the sky, observer 2 at home proceeded to take a picture with their cell phone and then a zoomed in picture with their cell phone. Observer 2 then moved the phone settings to video and the object disappeared. Observer 1 approximately 3 miles away also noted the object could no longer be seen in the sky at that time. Observer 1 saw the object for approximately a few minutes. The object did not appear to be moving. There were two commercial airplanes in the sky within sight during this time of the unidentified object sighting. Observer 1 is a mechanic and was in the army for ten years. On 03 December 2021, at approximately 1850 MST, I exited my vehicle and began walking to my dorm room. I looked up towards the sky, as I routinely do to star gaze. Living on an air force base I sometimes watch the aircraft taking off or might stare at one thinking it to be a shooting star before I notice the mechanical flight pattern and blinking lights. Tonight however, I noticed an odd array of lights that didn’t appear to belong to any known aircraft. I originally thought there was light reflecting off a telephone wire because of how many dots of light there were and the rigid line formation it was in. As I investigated further, I realized there were no telephone wires within distance or at the altitude of the angle I was looking up at. The shape of the formation was a straight line with about twenty or so lights one behind the other. It moved slowly but covered a large amount of distance. As I watched, it moved slowly through the atmosphere without making any noise and eventually disappeared one light at a time as it crossed an imaginary point. I immediately called a friend who was three hours away and claimed to have witnessed the same phenomena around the same time. [NUFORC annotation: Starlink - Certain]

I was walking the dog in our community around 6:42 pm and as usual, was looking at the sky to see what constellations were visible. I saw a rigid formation of lights moving quickly at an angle before disappearing instantly. The sighting lasted about 20-30 seconds. No discernible sound was emitted. On 12/3/2021 at 6:40pm. It was already dark outside, I was walking my dog in my community. I love looking at stars while walking my dog in the evening. At that time, I was on the phone with my sister in China. Suddenly I saw a long shining bright chain-like object showed up in the middle of the sky and moving from west to east, and it flew away out of sight after 4 minutes. I took a picture with my phone, but the quality of the picture isn’t the best due to the capacity of my phone camera. My son said later he also saw the same flying object while he was out. I was biking home when I stopped to fix my jacket. I looked up and saw an unusual trail of lights in the sky. I assumed it was the iss, but it was long. A straight line of white dots. I looked more and saw an outline of an oval, looking like the side of a discus. I pulled out my phone to video it after I saw that it seemed to be rotating, the lights moving up like they were on the side of a rotating disc. As I videoed the scene, I saw the thing move higher in the sky. Then the lights started to fade and the outline disappeared as the whatever it was faded away into the night.
