They were too far apart to be any headlights on a plane, and I thought to myself, that planes don't fly that distance together- not commercial anyway. I saw them clearly. They weren't planets or stars. They weren't laser pointers or search lights. There were many grey clouds in sky but the orange lights were easy to see. After they traveled in same direction, they then changed courses and went into the clouds - no longer going in same direction. They did not descend. At about that time I wondered if they were UFO's and went into my house. Minutes later I heard at least one helicopter, went to my window and watched helicopter flying in near same area of sky. I came upon 5 gentlemen on first ave in Seattle looking at something, they claimed they were UFOs. I watched the 5-6 spherical lights move up and down, left and right, into each other (seemingly) or over each other and then separate again. What was most interesting was the synchronized disappearance. In a jagged line, they vanished one by one. The one on the left moved down slightly for less than a second, then disappeared in mid air. The one just to the right of that one did the same. And so on and so forth in a pattern until all were gone. This sighting occurred on the border of Belltown and Lower Queen Anne, and these yellow glowing objects appeared to be above upper Queen Anne or past it. It was quite remarkable. We spoke via telephone with the witness, and he sounded to us to be sincere and sober-minded. We suspect that he is a skilled observer. PD

It appeared out of nowhere. Four bright white lights. I saw it from my bathroom window. It looked like the lights of a huge jet that is getting ready to land except it was no where near the base to where it would land and it was too high up to land. I called for my roommate and he froze when he saw it. Then as if it knew we saw it and were watching it started to dim it's lights out as if to hide. You could still see a dark shape... Big! Moving up just a little... It was floating in place.it didn't move the whole time we were watching it except to dim its lights out. It was a clear night sky only some clouds but it showed up right I between those clouds. Midnight.

It was not traveling as fast as a meteorite nor did it look like one. I have seen many meteorites in my life. The object made no sound. It traveled behind a tree and I lost sight of it. It was difficult to judge the distance of the object but it was about the length of the moon but only about one fifth the height of it. The night is clear with no visible clouds.

I was sitting around a campfire with a neighbor, when we saw something moving across the sky heading west from east. It had weird movements, as it would have semicircle movements at some points, straight line at others. Once it got close to directly overhead, it had a habit of just staying in place. It seemed like any of the stars, with nothing remarkable. I tried to record it with my iPhone, but not even the campfire was showing on the trees(light from the campfire. Trees were not on fire. Just making sure). We were dumbstruck on what it could be. I tried to rationalize it every way I could. I'm an avid amateur astronomer and a total fan of physics in all it's forms. I could not find an explanation. I tried to think as it moved, if it could be a satellite. But to my knowledge, a satellite does not have sudden stops in movement. I then tried to think weather balloon. But a weather balloon wouldn't be visible even at the maximum height it could achieve at that time of night. I then figured maybe a weird hyper-velocity star. But to no avail, I could not rationalize anything about it. I tried blurring my eyes to pin-point what kind of light source. At one point, I could pick out a total of three light sources from the one source of light. At one point, seemed as a light source came from it and faded away. Then another light source(one west and one SSW[being the second one]) came into view. Once the second one was visible, both came to a sort of full stop. They made movements, but never left the spot. They stayed there up until I grew tired of watching them (23:15), and are probably still there since I came inside. The movements even when they were relatively in one spot just seemed weird. It'd be weird semicircles and full circles, but not covering much distance. Sometimes would move different directions, but same area. I've seen a couple of strange things in the past, but this is a new pattern I saw. Usually they disappear after a certain point. I've never seen anything move so fast and cover so much space, to just stay at one point. I have no explanation for what I saw.

Over Redmond/Issaquah, Washington, Sunday 8/24/14 @ 8:15pm. Husband and I saw what resembled a meteor. A small dark spot followed by a thick short vapor. Was unlike a jet in that there were no lights (and no jet)and it did not present like any contrail I've seen in my life time. It was odd to us, so we felt compelled to share. Difficult to judge the distance, It looked close. This continued till the trees blocked our view after about 45 secs.

Sitting in the hot tub as we do every night, we witnessed some unusual lights approaching us. I am a commercial pilot, we live under the SE to Seatac approach corridor near Seattle WA. We have commercial aircraft flying over us every night as we sit in our hot tub. On Friday 8/23/14 at 10:45 p.m., we had just had an airliner fly over our location. I observed approaching from the east an odd light that was a bit north of the normal approach path. It passed our house and continued straight toward Seatac airport. The light was a bright orange color, no blinking strobes. I am very familiar with aircraft lighting, I have been a commercial pilot for 30 years. This aircraft had neither red nor green lights required on all aircraft, nor were there any strobes. The altitude was difficult to judge, but I would guess it was similar to the commercial approach altitude of 10-15 thousand feet in our area. The craft passed a mile or so north of our house, it made no noise. Observed by both my wife and me. I had to get out of the hot tub to follow the light towards Seatac. Somewhere over the Auburn WA area as I was observing the light, it just went black. Nothing...disappeared. Total duration of the sighting was approximately 3-5 minutes. Don’t know what this was, but I do know what it wasn’t, a commercial airliner…

Around 10 pm tonight I went out to grab something from my jeep.I noticed approximetly 5 bright orange lights in a wide cluster and 1 off to the east of them. At first I thought they were floating or hovering until I realized they were getting smaller but not moving off into the horizon. Whatever it was headed straight up and out of our atmosphere like a missle or rocket.

Driving home from Kennewick, WA, to Richland, WA, at about 21:20 (9:20pm) my wife and I witnessed a UFO flying over Richland and Kennewick, WA. At first sight I noticed a bright white light in the sky that appeared to be a bright star. As we continued driving down the highway the light clearly was getting larger, brighter, and looked as if it were getting closer to the car. At this time now (10-15 seconds) it went from looking like a bright star to possibly a light to a plane of some sort. Having never seen a plane light look like what I was observing, I then asked my wife, "what is that in the sky?". The light was brighter than any plane light I had ever seen, and stayed on like a headlight rather than blinking like most planes I see do. My wife responded, "I don't know, maybe a plane?". I then said, "I've never seen a plane light like that". The light then continued to grow in size and now was getting much closer our car. As we continued driving down the road, both watching the light, it then started to change color. The light now was getting very close to our car and was clearly hovering much lower than any plane would be flying. The bright white light had turned to a more dim version of its previous self. The entire time this was happening the light was clearly visible through our front windshield as we were driving down the highway. Now, after maybe 30 seconds, the more dim light was almost directly over our car. It was hovering, not moving like a plane or helicopter would be doing, and was only about 50-60 feet above our car. It was almost directly above our vehicle, being slightly on the passenger side of our car. I was sitting on the passenger side of the car and was completely in awe of what my wife and I were witnessing. I rolled my window down so that I could get a clear view of what was now above us. I could see through the dim orb of light a metal looking craft of some sort. I could see the craft was horizontal and got larger on both ends. Similar to a traditional dog bone shape. The metal looking craft also had lines running vertically up and down the sides. Once again the color started to change as we were passing the UFO. My wife and I had now just passed the UFO and I continued to watch it from out my rolled down window. The whole time, even with the window down, the UFO was silent, producing no noticeable noise. The light has now changed to a deep bright red color similar to a traffic light in color. The craft was no longer visible due to the brightness of the light. The red light stayed on and the craft hovered on over Kennewick, WA, as we continued towards Richland. As we were watching the orb of light, now behind us, the light would completely shut off and it would then turn back on. The light continued to blink on and off for the next 60 seconds or so until it was no longer in our line of sight. This was our first experience with any UFO. I have always been somewhat of a sceptic, but now know for certain that UFO's do exist. Having been so intrigued and wrapped up in the moment by what we were witnessing, neither my wife or I thought about using our smart phones to try and take a video. We hope that this post is helpful, and encourage anyone else driving on Highway 240 last night around 9:20 to also post what you have seen.

My friend and I were reclining on the deck at my house on a bluff above Puget Sound 4 miles north of downtown Edmonds, Washington. We were watching the stars and pointing things out to each other. At close to 11:00 PM, I noted what I thought was a satellite traversing the sky from south to north, so I got my friend on it. It began fading and jumping to the left and back to the right again. It would fade then reappear to the left or right – bright as it flashed back on. Knowing that eyes can make far objects appear to move, we were crosschecking our observations with each other. The path also changed while it was jumping – it took a long hook as it went from south – north to east - west. We were both taken back by what we saw. This was a very high altitude event – it certainly could be compared to a satellite in terms of brightness and altitude. My friend is an engineer and a pilot – he was adamant about me not mentioning his name. I have never seen one before t! hat had that jerky zig - zag motion. The sighting was probably 1-2 minutes long. The speed of the object was comparable to a satellite. It traversed about a 30 degree arc. When first sighted it was about 45 degrees up from horizontal. After about 20 seconds of these left to right to left jumping motions it simply faded out. At that point it was straight out in front of us – still at about 45 degrees from horizontal.

It was about 1/8 the size of the moon, and there was no streaking. The orb traveled steadily across the sky for about a mile, and then shot straight upwards, and disappeared. It lasted for approximately 15 seconds.

I just saw one bright blue disc (almost neon) fly across the sky from my apartment parking lot. I didn’t see it until it was right over me and it took about 2 seconds to soar across until it was out of my view. This seems like a very far distance for an aircraft to travel so incredibly fast. If I had blinked, I think I might have missed it. It was about the size of a quarter (seemed quite large for being so far away) and it was FAST and absolutely SILENT. The sky was pitch black. It was such a bright glowing blue that it lit up the sky directly around it. I didn’t hear anything. I have “goosebumps” because of how eerie, silent, and fast it was. I would estimate it at around 10-20,000 ft. ele. and If I had to guess it would have hit the Earth somewhere near Deer Park or Chewelah WA. The duration was about 4-5 sec.. I have seen something similar in 1974 in Oregon but this one was much more colorful (yellow and orange and "floating" very slow for a meteor . . . Thanx

I and my wife were sitting in our back yard under a moonless sky. At 9:14 pm, we seen a circular formed object that was brilliantly lite up float over our house. This object looked two hundred feet in diameter, had what looked like white strobe lights going in a circular fashion around the main body. It was absolutely silent. We watched it for about three minutes before I decided to call and report it. I would have sworn that it was some sort of blimp, but having an aviation background I have not seen anything like it before. About two minutes after the initial call, we saw a couple of what looked like military jets, heading the same direction as the object. I personally seen one and my wife said she seen a second. The object came out of the Northeast and headed southeast. Pretty awesome.

At approximately 10pm on Saturday, August 16th, heading southbound on I-5 from Shoreline, WA, a formation of lights were in the sky. The lights appeared to be redish/ yellow in color. They were still. They were in a strange formation that appeared to look like a constellation. Very slowly the lights began to dim and they all just disappeared. I was driving 60 mph on highway 5 North from Seattle close to Northgate shopping mall . Clearly, I saw about 6 orange bright light in the sky in the front of me moving toward my direction . They were close to each other and moving on independently changing direction slightly , seems to me. They passed me on my left side as I was still driving.

Hello, I would like to start off by saying this is no hoax or joke, what my cousin and I saw is real and im 99.9% shure its not a military craft. what we saw and continue to see every night around the same time is a light that moves across the sky very quick and not in one general direction either, sometimes they disappear and reappear, we have seen airplanes flying and the light are completely different and the speed is very slow compared to the light we see. this event occurs every night between 8 and 12, tonight ill try to get video to send in to you. this literally happens every night we look for it. I would really like to get someone else to see this that can maybe tell if its a plane of somesort or really a ufo. The color of these are white they look exactly like a moving star, sqame brightness and color but they move quick. please contact me I have called the hotline and left my number so I look forward to hearing from you soon. thank you

On Aug. 15, 2014, around 8:00 PM just after sunset in Spokane, Washington State, on the northeast side of town, my neighbors, my wife, and I were having a BBQ, when I noticed a green flash move very quickly across the sky. I asked if anyone else had seen the light and they replied with a no. About ten minutes later, my wife had asked, “Is that the Lights you saw?” I said yes. Then we realized that this was not normal, it was too large to be an online purchased drone, and it was not an airplane or a helicopter because there was no rotor noise and we would have heard it at the distance we were. The craft was between 10 and 20 feet long and was emitting a bright green light with a faint red light with it. This vehicle hovered for a few moments, then went vertical, horizontal, and even maneuvered in what appeared to be a 180 instant turn around without having to bank like a plane or helicopter, then it slowly descended behind the trees as if it were coming down to land.

My daughter came over to my house dropped some food off and left, She within a few minutes cam back and said "mom get and the car you have to look at this". I went with her and we went around the block, i looked up to the south of me i can see 3 bright objects in the sky they were once by each other and then did a loop around each other. One disappeared and then there was two. I continued to look on with perfect bliss. The one the dissapeared came back brighter then before. I decide to go inside as my daighter has to leave. One by one, they started to fade away. I went back in side as if it was over and something told me to look out side there this object again in the same place this time i took a pictue. This time it was huge orange in the middle and a white i guess you can say a fluffy coat on the out side. There was no moon out so i know it was not the moon.These ships or space crafts came about 2 times with in a hour same spot did not move nor had no sound, just quite. I called the navy base as i am located in bremerton and they told me nothing was in the sky at that time, nor did they see anything. Do I believe then no.. I see these objects in the sky all the time in the sky i know what they are.This may sound strange but i have dreams like i am in a ship i see eartu from afar, i see what is going to happen to us and what i dreamt last year already happen. Are they messages o dont know but i listen. They were about 3 football field's up facing north after they came from the south. It is a clouldy day today, light showers, no moon. I was outside to walk my dogs, I had looked up and there was a light flash in the south, way up high, it was a bright light ball of some sort. This light ball moved slowly for about a minute, towards the west a bit. I shined my powerful green laser on it, it went upward, I shined my laser on it again and the light ship turned off its light source and it turned red, all within a minute, then this thing disappeared into space, after about watching for at least 2 minutes.

As I lay floating on my back in the swimming pool I was studying the stars on a clear summer night when my eyes came to rest on a small cluster of what looked like stars but it was not a normal constellation - it was three stars arranged equidistant in a triangle. The most stunning aspect of the experience for me was the way the formation seemed to sense that I had noticed it because it kind of “flinched” the moment I spotted it as if it didnt want to be seen and began evasive maneuvers. It started to dart away but suddenly stopped as if trying to make up its mind and then it streaked across the sky at metaphysical speeds, came to an impossible abrupt halt and then - poof - apparently ascended into oblivion. I think it sensed me and did not want to be seen. It moved as if the sky was a blackboard and a professor just dragged chalk across the whole expanse with one sweep of the arm. No shooting star goes that fast or stops that suddenly. It seemed from another dimension.
