These object seemed to be suspended in air and just hovering over the area just south of the Marysville exit (again on the west side of I5). This event went on from the time we drove up and passed the event. Approximately 2-3 minutes. One of the lower lights did how ever seem or appear to be moving. We have amended the time above, and reposted on July 10, 2015. PD

One orange solid light, not flashing, flew over the Lake Sammamish direction from North to South. 20-30 seconds later another one followed. Less than 5 seconds after that one, a third appeared and followed at a consistent distance, at the same rate of speed. All 3 went out of out of our view.

On the 4th of July at about 10:10pm, before the fireworks show at Gasworks Park, I was standing on Lakeview Blvd waiting for the fireworks show. I saw a red light come from the East heading West and stop over I-5 at the south end of Lake Union. The light wasn’t flashing, it was high in the sky and it hovered for about 10 minutes. That was while the helicopter was flying around with the American flag. Then at 10:20 pm, the fireworks started and the red light turned to green and headed East. I didn’t see it again.

We were watching fireworks and I noticed high in the sky bright green lights flashing in a row then bright red lights flashing in a row. The craft was just hovering for quite some time, then it moved and then just stopped and hovered again. We seen a plane and a helicopter flying in a different direction which we were able to clearly make out, but we could not make out the shape of the craft because of the lights. It hovered and moved a couple of times and it looked strange the way it could just stop and make no movement instantly. After a while it just seemed to drop then take off. No sound was heard from the craft.

On July 4th of 2015, my husband and I were sitting on our back porch watching fireworks in the Longview area. Our property sits up on a hill about 600 ft. above sea level, so it is easy to see many of the fireworks displays. While we were watching the large fireworks displays on our porch, both of us noticed what we first thought was a large burning ember from one of the commercial fireworks display, drifting from west to east about 200 ft. above our home. We both were concerned, as the weather had been very hot and dry, and our home sits on 2 acres about half of which is wooded. I ran to get the binoculars and had the chance to see what looked like a glowing silently moving lantern. I gave the binoculars to my husband, and he could not identify what it was. I suggested it might be a drone. But, there was no sound and it seemed to be glowing like a candle flame turning slightly as if to monitor it continued on eastward over our hill until out of sight. Very strange, indeed.

While sitting outside with a group of friends, I noticed an off-white (to orange) point of light. I was facing west, the point of ligh was at a 10 o'clock position and heading in a southerly direction. Instinct indicated an altitude of a commercial jet at cruising altitude, but it might well have been beyond the atmosphere. What caught my attention was the lack of strobes. We live just east of Boeing Field with it traffic as well as inbound/outbound flights from SeaTac are also clearly visible from our home. I was beginning to think I was viewing a satellite, but it didn't have the look of something high enough to be in orbit, then it changed course. It was at this point I pointed it out to others around me. The object altered its course gently to a an easterly heading where it held that heading for maybe 5 seconds before gently altering to a southerly course which was held for 5 seconds. It then gently altered it course again to due west for about 5 seconds, before vanishing. The area of sky covered would have been roughly the area of 2 fists held at arm's length, and the speed was roughly what satellites travel. It was a constant smooth motion.

5 red objects stationary, not resembling lights, planes, or fireworks. One move downward and over. Then two went toward horizon and over mountains. Then the remaining two stayed a bit longer and finally disappeared.

On the evening of July 3rd, at about 10:30 PM, I was outside, looking up at the stars, as I enjoy doing, when I noticed what I initially thought was a satellite moving across the sky. The “satellite” then changed course and began to move around irregularly. It would move in loops and swirls, staying in one general area, changing velocity occasionally. Every now and then I could see a faint shimmering in the area and would sometimes see what looked like another “satellite” moving in a similar fashion, but only for a second or two and then disappear. At one point the object turned red for 2 or 3 seconds then returned to normal. At one point I saw something flash out in my peripheral vision. It was like a shooting star/ meteor moving towards the original object, yet this “meteor” only moved at the speed of a satellite, much slower than a meteor. About 10 seconds later I saw another “meteor,” also moving towards the original object, but from a different direction. I don’t know what I saw but it looked to me like it was a craft involved in some sort of combat with other craft. I was 70 miles or more from any city of any size, the night was quiet. I do not know what it was but I can tell you what is wasn’t: an airplane, a helicopter A Satellite, Swamp Gas, A Weather Balloon, Venus. I am curious if anyone else has seen something like this.

While watching the annual Demo Derby and Fireworks show at the State-line Speedway (Post Falls, ID) on July 3, 2015. Looking east, me and my friends saw a green/red light/object that looked like it was to the right of the full moon. It was slow-moving to the left. The fire works started and the light change color, and looked like it went around the moon, changed colors then dropped straight down. I'm retired from the USAF/ANG with 30 years of service and never seen anything like this.

On Thursday, July 2nd, at approximately 10pm, I raised my camera to take a picture of the Seattle skyline during a boat trip on Lake Union at dusk, and saw an object streak across my viewfinder from one side of the screen to the other. Thinking it may have been a reflection of a light that could have provided an interesting visual effect upon the photo, I swiped to the picture immediately to find a still capture of what was in fact two side-by-side saucer shaped lights flying across the city! They were bright white/blue in color and seemed to have a ring of light around two parts of each saucer. They appeared to the eye during the initial sighting as a streak going across my view at a very high speed, but the photo shows two clearly defined objects.

As my wife and I were sitting out in our backyard on recliners, we started noticing 3 red blinking lights at a 45 degree angle to the right of the moon where we were sitting. They blink out and appeared minutes later on the other side of the night sky. They moved across the night sky from southwest to northeast bouncing around in different formations. Then they combined as one and disappeared. At this time I had ran in the house and got my iPad and filmed as much as I could. Then a then a fourth white/red blinking light moved across the sky southwest to northeast starting just above our neighbors trailer. It moved very slowly and disappeared in the horizon. My wife went inside she was spooked. As I sat there I watched it come back and I tried to film it. I thought maybe this was just a plane or a fire helicopter during the night, but as it got close I saw the full shape with my eyes it was cylinder and had light around it and slanted light on the bottom. The lights moved in sequence and reminded me of led moving dolor lights. I was frozen and scared, since it was night above about the size of a button. I got up ran in side and got my wife out of bed. I brought her to the front to see if we could see it together. I was in sight and moving at a steady pace south and disappeared after a minute. I told her what it saw and that was it. I have what my iPad recording getting sent to the e-mail below.

In NE Portland, thought we were looking at Venus & Jupiter. We had an entire conversation about how the planets were not as close as they said it was going to be. There was a large gap between the 2. I mentioned taking a photo, but had left my phone in the car. When we left the dog park, I went to get my phone and they were gone. They were very bright, and no clouds to cover them. Just gone.

Happened to look up at this object while walking near downtown Bellingham. Began as a fireball with a "pollywog"(baby frog) shape (I remember thinking), complete with a "tail" kind of wagging behind it. Watched this maybe 2 seconds, then suddenly, a flash of blue, and the fireball was gone, and I recall expecting the object to be round, maybe a meteor, but instead it was HALF OF A CIRCLE in shape, with the front shaped flatish, and on each side of the front, I somehow made out two sets (of two) antennae-like protrusions. (changing of colors due to coming out of orbit, likely; though I do not know the technical term for it, but like a spacecraft that hits the outer layers of sky on Earth, and going through that, and then suddenly having gone through it, and there was a flash of blue when it did that) As soon as I realized this half-circle shape, with the strange aparatus protrusions, I was taken so aback that I didn't watch it any longer, and it was gone. Witnessed two bright objects due West of Lakewood. Approximately 10-15° off the horizon. They are stationary and do not appear to have moved in 40 minutes. We have never seen these bright lights in that area before. They do not appear to be stars. They are white with a faint green halo when viewed through spotter scope. I am retired military special forces. Very observant of my surroundings. These objects are very unusual. At 22:58 the brightest of the two lights has disappeared and the other light is fading. At 23:00 the second light disappeared. Venus and Jupiter. PD

fairly slow lumbering flight path east to west then finally west to east and I look away for just a bit then it was not in sight. (went above clouds I presume) at one point when I noted the Very distant V shape (as in that typed letter) it did a slow rotation or 2 while hovering in one spot. Color: good question I saw it as black and or possibly orange/white – perhaps due to sun reflections on it?? Other witness when she finally came out side said black. it did a 2nd hovering after I believe it was when it went from west to east. when I first saw it I thought it was an airplane in the distance. then possibly drone, or hang glider or something.. that broke free and was floating around. but it went against the cloud direction when it went east to west. and it was too far away and too high up to start with from initial sighting to farthest west sighting to be a Civilian RC or drone. its Sharp V shape would not be of Any benefit to the slow speed and hovering it did. there may be little more I can say or not I did not grab my camera when it was in the position of best view.. then I put the first battery in it and it did not work.. (rechargeable and stored charged even) Ignore the pictures timestamp I don’t keep batteries in my camera and seldom use it. time taken I can calculate it if needed but just hoping others reported the same thing. or an explanation - Please fill me in. the picture does not look at all like what I saw. I saw no lights or anything. when it hovered and rotated. I simply saw a “V” just about like that one. cannon eos 40D 28-135 AF IS. if needed please use my email to contact me especially if there is an explanation or others that reported it. this is not a crack letter though I do expect there must be an explanation as I would liked to have seen something of this nature. I was camping off of a logging trail in the Snoqualmie National Forest on June 26, 2015, the campsite was on the side of a remote mountain in a timber stand, My companions and I sighted an orange glow through the trees and thought it was Saturn which was supposed to be visible at this time, we hiked to the top of the mountain where a large installation of remote power lines lay, upon reaching the top we quickly realized this was not Saturn... but a slow moving diamond shaped object which glowed extremely bright orange/reddish. The object moved in slow circles above the power line installation which stretched down the mountain we were on and up and over the mountain in front of us, and seemed to be right above the power lines a few hundred feet from the mountain top, this object was so bright it was almost blinding the look at, and seemed to have a massive corona around it, there was no sound, but the power lines above us were making a loud crackling static noise, this object continued to slowly move in circles, i snapped multiple pictured before my phone died, and upon inspection of the photos, i realized there was a second object rotating around the main object that i couldn't see due to how bright the aura or smoky haze was that it was engulfed in.

I was outside on a break and a flash in the sky caught my eye. This was at ~10:30am and sky conditions were clear. It appeared to be a hovering orb at very high altitude. I thought it could be a planet or star at first but it was a bright/sunny day. I had 4 other co-workers come outside to confirm what I was seeing and they all confirmed it was something unknown. We then noticed that the orb was moving to the west very slowly and still flashing white, red, and gold colors. After about 5 mins of tracking it, it changed directions to the east and was directly over us (we were looking straight up). Again, this orb was at a VERY high altitude. We would lose site of it for a few moments only to have it flash back into view.

On June 25, I awoke at 2:50 a.m. and stared at the sky, seeing stars, with the overcast of two hours earlier having cleared. My bed headboard abuts a large window allowing me to gaze almost directly upward. It is common for me to waken about every two hours or so, as I did this night. I saw what at first I thought was a falling star, a dot of light, but it was slower than normal. After a brief arc it blinked out. Following the line of sight ahead, I was surprised to see a dark charcoal triangular shape moving along the same line and at the same speed as brief dot of light. In disbelief, I grabbed my glasses and looked again. Along the same line, I saw the same shadowy dark charcoal triangular shapes against the black sky, one after another, equidistant apart. I did not count but guess I saw six or seven in a row. At the end, there was a group of five or six in a symmetrical formation. As these objects passed, background stars were blocked from sight. There was no sound. I have no idea what to make of it. I was not dreaming. Indeed, after searching the sky for a couple more minutes, I turned on the light and with an app on my smart phone took a compass reading of the direction. A close approximation was a heading of 206 degrees (plus/minus), or south by southwest. Location and Conditions: I live in Lakebay, Washington, about 2 miles southeast of Key Center, a small community. It is a wooded setting with no outdoor lights close by. My house was dark with no lights on. I am surrounded by high fir trees, distant about 30 feet away from my bedroom window, and about 80 feet away in the direction of the objects. There is a screen on the window out of which I was looking. Considerations: Because of the initial observation of light, as a meteor, I have dismissed the thought that this could have been a flock of Canadian geese. Further, geese are noisy when they fly, constantly honking. Everything was a tad too symmetrical in any event. Had they been planes or jets, I would have been able to hear them. It was absolutely silent. And because what I saw had size and shape, not just specks, planes would have been close enough to easily hear. I cannot speculate on size, distance or speed. I have no idea what I saw. But I was awake and did see what I have described, definitely there but very dark. Again, the objects were a dark slate gray, just barely lighter than the background black night sky, covering stars as they passed by. I am divorced, 65, and live alone. Not an UFO kind of guy, I am not keen on publicity and prefer relative anonymity. Nonetheless, should you wish to contact you may, discretely.

I work for an airline as a Maintenance Technician. I was flying from Spokane, Washington, to Portland, Oregon, for a week of training. We were flying at an estimated 20,000 ft (ceiling limit for this aircraft is 24,000 ft) in the vicinity of Ritzville Washington. The date of this sighting was June 22nd at approximately 6:30 am. The conditions were mostly clear with high level clouds in the distance. No clouds were visible in the vicinity of the sighting. I had been taking pictures with my iPhone 6 out of the window due to boredom. I had taken four pictures; I reviewed them and decided to delete them. I turned my attention from the window and deleted the four pictures. This action took me approximately 30 seconds in my opinion. I looked back out the window and immediately saw a large gray disc shaped craft. It was hovering, or at least did not appear to me moving, at our aircraft altitude. I took several pictures and a short video. From my vantage point it appeared to be the size of a shoe at arm’s length. The height of the center dome corresponding to the height of the shoe, and the length of the craft of course corresponding to the length of the shoe. The duration of the sighting was approximately 5-6 minutes. It slowly moved to the north east, or it could have been that our aircraft simply flew away from the object which was hovering. I cannot be certain which. It simply dissolved as an object leaving your field of view does as it recedes from sight. I looked about the aircraft to see if anyone else had witnessed the object. No one else seemed to notice so I kept it to myself. As I work for the airline I was flying on, I was reluctant to stick my neck out. If anyone had looked out the window they would have saw it. We were flying in a westerly direction and the object was to the right of use, which would be north. The pictures and videos were taken with an Iphone 6. I will email them to you. The size of the craft in the pictures and video do not adequately represent the size of the object. It was much larger in person.

Indescribable color blue. Came down from sky fast then disappeared for 1 second, then reappeared a little higher, and went downwards quickly. I was driving down the road. 10 minutes later there were military helicopters circling my home area.

Two, dark black triangle shaped objects were seen by my wife and myself in the eastern sky from our home on 22nd ave in Tacoma. Both objects flew in a fast zig-zag motion for a few minutes, then both shot straight up into the sky and vanished. The objects seemed to be about a few hundred feet away and looked to be the size of a small plane. I am a 56 year old male and work in the lumber industry, and my wife is a 53 year old nurse.

I was sitting in the park with my friend, stargazing. I suddenly saw a reddish orange light moving over downtown Spokane from what looked like the east. It seemed too fast for a regular plane and as soon as I pointed it out, it curved hard towards south south-west, directly away from my pointing finger, and kind of corkscrewed, until we couldn't see it anymore. About 5-7 minutes later, a plane appeared, taking almost the same path as the light, but much slower. Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. PD
