My friend and I were driving to dinner and we saw something that looked like a fireball falling strait down or of the sky. We thought it was a meteor until it slowed and two lights appeared as if it had wing lights, like a plane. Then it blinked and disappeared. Planes don't fly strait down. There was no sound. No boom, and no flash of light or explosion. It was as if it turned is lights off to avoid being tracked to a landing zone.

I was working ushering people into the Austin Music Festival at Zilker Park in Austin, Texas. As the crafts flew towards me, 3 crafts changed colors and sometimes disappeared the reappeared. Moving for miles and southbound slowly and constantly changing colors and number of crafts. As they got closer, it was suddenly apparent that these 3 crafts were connected to one large craft. The crafts had multiple colored lights. The giant ship, which I will refer to as the mother ship was translucent going in and out of sight. The mother ship then changed directions to the west after traveling over the entire city of Austin at a very slow pace. It was difficult for me to calculate the size of the mother ship, but my best figure would be at least 1,000 feet long from nose to tail and about 500 feet wide. It could have been much bigger, but definitely not smaller. It was hard to gauge the size because it was often translucent and it was at night.

the wife and I were heading to grocery store and saw huge fireball in sky. You could clearly see the flames and it was moving south at a very high rate of speed. By the time I got pulled over and my phone out to record it was too far out of sight. This was totally cool.

I went outside for a cigarette and saw two lights slowly moving around NNW of my house. The best I can tell is the objects were round but were either quite a distance away or quite small. My best guess would be they were apprx 2K feet away. The lights changed colors from white to purple to red. I called my wife out to look and she witnessed them as well. I have a .mov I got with my Iphone I'll send with this. When the lights dropped below tree line a thunderstorm rolled through within a minute. I have 31 years with the Air Force and the FAA and have been around aviation most of my life.

I’m not sure how this page works but I had a 100% definite UFO encounter last night and thought i would share it! Me and my roommate had gone outside(it was about 9-10 pm) to smoke a cigarette and let our dogs out...after being out there for a few minutes we start looking at the stars and notice one seemed very low to the earth and VERY red. It being so red is what initially caught our eyes. After watching it remain perfectly still for at least a couple minutes we write it off as a weird star and move on...then all of a sudden we see something coming towards us to our right. Next thing we know there is something very large starting to fly over us. It had 3 white lights in a triangle shape with a softer, larger, red light in the center. This thing was flying extremely slow and low...enough so that we were able to make out the shape, a definite triangle. It made a deep, low hum noise very different from a plane or jet (which we hear often living close to airports and runways). We know it was not a plane as it was WAY too low and WAY too close to make such little to no noise. The "UF! O" continued in a straight line until it was over the tree line and out of sight. Once it was out of sight we both started to freak out and something told me to turn back to the unusually red star we had seen. As soon as my eyes looked at the star it started to rise in altitude. I smack my friend, "dude, dude, dude...look!!!" as soon as he saw it moving he said see i knew it wasn’t a star! The second "UFO" continued flying up a short distance and then started at an angle to the left (opposite direction of the closer "UFO"). It continued at a pretty fast speed until it was out of sight. I feel i should mention the entire time this was happening several of the dogs in the nieghborhood were going crazy and would not stop barking for several minutes after. We know we didn’t see a plane and know we saw a triangle shaped craft but have no answers beyond that...

On September 27, 2014 at approximately 8:15 pm I and my parents witnessed orange lights in the night sky. These are exactly like the ones that have been reported in different parts of the world. We witnessed these lights on Barker Cypress Rd located in Houston TX 77084. We are in shock. There were originally 3 lights in an L formation then after 20 seconds about 20 orange lights appeared. They were in the sky moving for about 2 minutes then they just completely disappeared. These Lights were large. We were and are in shock. The whole process took about 4 minutes. We stopped the car at the edge of the street and tried to take photos but our phones would not capture them. We are perplexed by these orange lights. They cannot be planes since they were silent and completely disappeared plus the huge number just would not make sense. I hope this is helpful with any studies or anything in particular. The unknown is quite frightening but awfully interesting. We have! 1 blurry image.

2 fast erratic moving objects rapidly change colors from orange to blue but with a fairly consistant white light in the center of each object. These objects move toward and then away at great speeds. Some times they seemed to have squiggly multi colored lines like plasma or something swirling around them.

To the north west. A single unmoving spot. Larger than a star and seams to be rotating. The color is changing steadily. Witness corrects time to 2026 hrs. Also, he comments that the local news reported the object to be a helium-filled balloon, possibly a weather balloon. PD

Large bright object to the west of Lubbock, TX. Very bright light that didn't move but faded in brightness. The sun was almost down, so it wasn't a reflection. I got pictures, but they are not great. Called to get my retired school teacher mother on the line, and she saw it from 5 miles south of my location. It didn't twinkle or have any other colored lights. Object slowly faded on a perfectly clear night. Reported by local news to be a balloon. PD

Driving eastbound I-40 30 miles west of Amarillo. Noticed 2 red lights in distance. Thought they were the tops of the wind generators in distance. They must have been a little different because they caught my attention. My sister also saw them once I pointed them out. As they got closer a small green light was rotating around them, as they got closer the green light was brighter and spinning fast enough to leave a circle trace around the red light. I thought they were propellers spinning. They were 50 - 100 feet up heading west. When they were almost over us I recognized a smoky haze inside of the circles they remained next to each other and could have been part of the same object. I would approximate them at 10 - 20 feet in diameter green part and 1 foot or less diameter for the red portion in the middle. My sister saw blinking square red lights inside the red circles. It passed right over us and we could not track it because we were traveling 75 miles an h! our the opposite direction. It appeared to travel slow over us, but I could not gage because of the darkness.

Y- shaped orange glowing, low-flying noiseless object moving steadily across the sky. Never have seen anything like it. I thought I had entered the twilight zone. I dropped my recycling and grabbed a bottle as the unknown can be frightening. I googled it to try to find a logical explanation and found your site. I'm still freaking out about it a bit. I was stunned. I thought this only happened in movies so I wasn't able to get my phone. I didn't want to miss anything I was seeing so I just watched it until it disappeared over the horizon.

I'm a sceptic. I don't believe ANYTHING unless I see it for myself. However, last night I was in my backyard when I happened to look up in the clear sky at the exact moment an unidentified flying object with a red light and a white light (may have had another light, but I know I saw a distinct red) darted a short ways across the sky, only to disappear into thin air. It was too low to be a sattelite, WAY too fast to be an airplane (VERY fast), and COMPLETELY silent. Living in the country, I've seen hundreds of shooting stars, and this was absolutely NOT a shooting star. It was low enough for me to make out a vague outline of the craft. Unfortunately it happened so fast it's hard to say exactly what shape it was. In fact, I don't think it was even visible for a full second. I observed a rectangle shaped UFO moving at a very high rate of speed and sending out bright white propulsion as it traveled. The UFO seemed to be larger than an aircraft as I noticed that as it flew under a cloud. My camera was aimed at 90 degrees upward..straight up in the sky when the UFO was recorded. The UFO itself was dark in color.

I am a student pilot and work at a local observatory I saw the light through my window, it was a single point with two peaks emitting from the top and bottom, it was flashing extremely fast among the colors red, green, yellow, blue, white and orange, it would flash for a few seconds, then go off, then flash some more I have a video, it's low res and only 15 seconds long and doesn't show the beams that were emitted,

The faint white boomerang shaped light grew fainter as it went away staying at a constant speed coming from the north heading south. No lights or sounds just moving across the sky. Noticed what appeared to be a flashing star in the northeast sky. After a minute or two it split into to lights. One appeared to be triangular in shape, the other was directly in front of/on top of it and was crescent shaped. The both flickered orange, whit and some blue. There also appears to be lights going back and forth between the two objects. Both objects have remained stationary for about 20 minutes now. Sighting may have occurred on September 21st, not August 21st, as indicated in the original report. We have changed the date above. PD

I was at work unloading a truck and heard a "wooosh" sound. I looked up and saw a transparent unusual shaped craft about 400 feet above me moving north perpendicular across normal flying lanes for landing planes at the love field airport. I hear planes all day long at work, but have never heard one that sounds like that. It was all over in a few seconds and it was gone. Leaving me speechless and wanting to see more. The sighting I have is from my game camera on my place. It it 22 miles north of Amarillo Texas an away from any electric power lines or houses. I have the photo from my camera and would like to send it to someone but cannot find an e-mail address to send it. The light is seen over a buck deers back while he is feeding. It appears it is directly above the deers back as the tree seen in the background is about 10 yeards from where the deer is standing. The stick with the stripes on it are one foot increments, so I can determine the size of the deer. (I do not kill deer). We have requested a copy of the photo. PD
