While smoking outside at around midnight, we heard a noise that is very difficult to describe. The sound was like a car doing donuts (screeching tires) and strange (almost painful or desperate) howling. These noises were very loud and caused both of us to feel extremely uncomfortable. My fiancee was almost in tears. It was so loud the neighbors came outside to see what was happening. There was nothing unusual in the skies, but our cats were keyed onto the noise and were acting very distraught. The sound disappeared all at once, after about 2 minutes. We stayed outside for approximately 10 minutes, and the sound never returned. It may have been nothing, but this was one of the eeriest things that we've encountered in many years. I still have chills trying to recall the noise.

Craft was moving slowing south to north directly overhead and either was lit by the setting sun or had fire onboard. The orange glow was all I saw at first (I thought it was Mars) and then seemed to pulse and flicker only illuminating one side and eventually went out completely leaving a barrel or boxy cylinder shape moving slowly away. I was able to view the craft for approx. 1.5 minutes through binoculars until I lost it behind trees. Perhaps a Chinese lantern?

3 Orange lights coming slowly from the east. When they got approximately over Arlington or Oso, they stopped, and then slowly faded out. This is the second time I have seen bright orange lights here near Arlington. Always no sound, always orange.

Auburn, WA
My wife and I were outside in our backyard in Auburn, WA, today around 11:30AM and while watching a passenger jet go by to the East, we noticed a black triangular object about 1,000 feet in the sky to the North. It hovered mainly, but seemed to change shapes into other triangular styles. It never appeared to be moving. I tried to take a video with my Galaxy S7, but the playback showed nothing. Before we knew it, it was gone. No sound was noticed.

This photograph was taken last evening at my house near Bow during a test session with my Leica R lenses and a new Sony A7 Mark II camera. I was shooting at the open blue sky at f/11 to see whether the imperfections on my images were caused primarily by dust motes on the camera sensor or in the lenses. This particular shot was taken with a 35mm f/2.0 Leica R focused at infinity and stopped down to f/11. I saved the images to my laptop, then pulled up each one and put it in Paint so I could examine it closely, and then draw circles around each "dust mote" to see if they remained in the same place (sensor) or only showed up on a particular lens. I was examining each magnified photo, seeing that I had also photographed some distant birds flying quite high, and came across what looks to be some sort of large and long metallic cylinder, obviously shining in the sun. You can see that the side facing the sun (right and west) is reflecting the light while the other side (left and east) is in shadow conforming with the sun being lower on the horizon tot he right (west). I did not actually see this object but only discovered that I had unintentionally taken a picture of it after the fact. As I finished marking the slide, I noticed what looks to perhaps be a second cylindrical object, far less clearly defined but it looks the same (lower left). The primary object would have been too high to make out with the naked eye. The object does not appear in any of the other lens shots so it is likely that it was moving. I cannot figure out what this might be. Checked for the ISS but it had gone by much earlier here and besides would not likely show up with a 35mm wide angle lens. I am thinking that if this is an item inside the lens, it would also be out of focus and there would not be sunlight shining on it. Cannot think of any obvious explanation for what this might be. Incidentally, I have been an ornithologist for 50 years so am a very experienced observer of items in the sky.

On June 26th, my husband, daughter and myself went to Ft. Warden in Port Townsend, WA, to fly kites. My husband and daughter were flying two separate kites and I decided to lay on the grass directly under them and take photos because the sky was amazing! The cloud formations and sun would make for a stunning bavk drop. I took multiple pictures within a 5 min period and did not see the white orb like structure until a couple days ago when I finally looked back at my photos I had taken. Out of 23 photos 6 photos show a white orb to the right of our kites. We did not see them at the time of taking pictures because quite frankly the sun was blinding when I snapped them. I showed them to a fellow we met at the fireworks show on the 4th and he was blown away and a follower of this site and insisted I submit them to be debunked. If you notice in the pictures that I'm sending in exact sequence as they were taken, they show up in different locations slightly. (I was s! hooting in a NW direction with my IPhone) Objects in photos are camera lens flares. PD

Slow moving orange colored. It looked like a fireball, but was moving too slowly, (according to the website where fireballs can be reported). The object moved in an arc shape from north toward south.

THE LIGHTS SHIFTED TO A PALE SHADE OF RED. TOOK EYES OFF OF IT FOR MAYBE 10-15 SECONDS AND WHEN WE LOOKED AGAIN IT WAS GONE. TOO FAST TO BE ANY COMMERCIAL AIRLINER, TOO BRIGHT TO BE A REGULAR AIRCRAFT, SHAPE UNLIKE ANYTHING FAMILIAR.

On Monday, 06/20/16, around 9:35pm, my wife and I were heading eastbound on Highway 20 (Memorial Highway), coming from Oak Harbor, and crossing over the overpass near the Swinomish Casino. As we rounded the curve before coming to the overpass that leads into the Skagit Valley and flat-lands, I noticed a bright, white, light in the sky over the foothills to the east and slightly south of Burlington and Mount Vernon Washington. I was just getting ready to say to my wife, “What do you think that is?”, when she asked me the exact same thing. To the naked eye, the lights looked like 3-4 round, brightly lit orbs that were somehow connected together or touching, moving very slowly, slightly southeast. The lights just had a very floaty feel to them – best way I can explain it. The light on the right side appeared to separate and move away for a couple of seconds, then rejoined the group. The entire group faded out briefly, then reappeared again. There were other cars on the road with us and you could tell they were seeing this, too. A couple of cars pulled over to the right shoulder and stopped. I told my wife to grab her phone and take some pictures. We both have new iPhone 6SE’s. She took six pictures as I was driving. She doesn’t know how to do much beyond voice and text on her phone, so she didn’t think to use the video camera. The pictures are pretty blurry from car movement and her trying to use the camera portion of the phone. We did get the lights, though it may not be of much use. Included are the photos just as they are from the phone. This was the night of the solstice moon, but this was not the moon we were seeing.

Director@ I was at Costco store in Burlington, WA, by the gas pumps, just parked my car. I was checking out my camera on my Samsung Note 4 and I was going to drop the phone and when I went to save it, I accidentally pressed the picture shooter and the camera began taking continuous shots, multiple shots per second. When I was done shopping, and arrived home, I started looking at the photos and realized that one had what looked like it had a funnel that appeared in the sky (which now I think is a portal) and/or sonic boom; the next photo shows the funnel reduced to a round pathway and an orb shooting through. The following photo shows the orb travelling, as well as the following photo. Then it looks like a ring develops around the orb. Finally the orb continues on and disappears. At first I thought it was a cloud (the first photo), but as I zoomed in to the far right, it was obviously a formation of some sort. I knew what the object was because I have read and seen photos of it. I also know that many think that orbs are just weather balloons or satellites. I think that these photos tell a different story. The object looks like it came through a portal that opened up and immediate closed as the object shot through and began to travel. These photos were taken slightly over a second as it was a rapid photo shoot. These were captured by accident. I am not convinced that it is a weather balloon. I would like to know what it really is. The skies were clear and it was a warm day. We have looked at all the photos provided. The objects are lens flares. PD

On the evening of June 12, 2016, I was sitting in the living room of my aunt & uncle's house, talking to my cousin. I was facing a large bay window and through it I saw what I thought was a plane. It was heading south, towards us, and had 3 blinking lights. Two on the left (when facing us) and one on the right. These lights blinked 2 then 1, 2 then 1, left then right, left then right. As it got closer I couldn't make out its shape so I asked my cousin, "What's that?" He thought it might be a helicopter. To check if it was a helicopter I went outside to see if I could hear it. I could not. By now the craft was overhead and west of us. It was essentially flying over the Narrows Bridge along the course southward over the Puget Sound. This is when I took out my iPhone and shot about 35 seconds of footage. It was now 7:42 pm. I stopped filming because some trees would soon obscure my view. So I went in the backyard to continue watching it. I asked my uncle what it was. He didn't know. I asked if it could be a helicopter, but he said it was too high. It was definitely very high and flying at a constant velocity on a flat trajectory. I asked my uncle if he had binoculars. He went inside and grabbed a pair while I continued watching it. I pointed out the object to my aunt and 8 year-old son, too. None of us knew what it was. The object continued moving southward and was soon nearly too small to see. When my uncle returned with the binoculars I was only able to find the object in my sight once before losing it again. The sun was lowering and bright enough to where I needed to block it with my hand. It made finding the object at a distance challenging. The object then became too faint at such a distance and I lost it. The whole event must've lasted approximately 10 or so minutes. Maybe 15. A review of the National Weather service showed that at 7:53pm in that vicinity the wind direction was NNE and velocity of the wind was 5mph.

I'm in my apartment on 8th and Madison, facing west, when I noticed a bright white light moving fairly fast towards the water. It's late, and I've been studying for a test, so my initial thought was I saw the lights on a plane landing. Then I realized if it was a plane, it would have to be extremely close to appear to be moving as fast as it was. As I'm standing up to get a better look at it, I see an orange steak of like behind it. Next thought is the largest shooting star I've ever seen, and at nearly 5 in the morning. Next thought was make a firecracker set off from a building? Where I viewed it from, it appeared over the Rainer tower though, so I would have no idea where the firecracker would have been sent off from. I don't believe in UFO's, but this is the only place I could think of to turn to for an explanation. Hopefully, someone else saw it too, and could let me know.

I am the opening guard at my pool. I was pulling the pool cover outside when a large saucer-shaped light shot across the sky overhead, arched, then headed south after discharging orange sparks. It was so bright it lit up the sky at 4:30 am. Like a shooting star, only very close to the ground. Like 30 ft from the ground. It was super fast too. And was gone surging 2-3 seconds. It made no sound during its flight. Very spooky.

Gold Bar, WA
I was driving my teens back from school via Route 2 East on a sunny, nearly cloudless afternoon from Monroe to Gold Bar. As we neared Startup, my son pointed out the window and asked, "What's that up there?" We all three observed a huge floating cylinder above the foothills, between Gold Bar and possibly Index. It was hard to tell exactly what part of the countryside it was floating over, it was so high up. It was very, very high up, so it must have been enormous. It was just hanging there, not moving at all. We watched it all the way home and when we got out of the car, we continued to watch it for about five more minutes as it slowly moved east, farther into the mountains. It made no sound at all. It was upright, but tilted. I have no idea why none of us thought to take a picture with my cell phone, but we didn't. We were too busy goggling at it.
June 4, 2016 · 8:30 PM · FIREBALL
Cliffdell, WA
. We were camping at Sawmill Flats campground on Hwy 410 on Sat. June 4th. At dusk, I noticed an reddish orange ball of light across the Naches River, approximately 100 meters away. I first thought it was a light from other campers, but then it changed into what looked like a camp fire. A little while later, my husband started watching it as well. It split into 2 red moving fireballs, then had a white one in the middle. I quit watching it for a while, but my husband continued to watch. When I returned, it moved and I saw a light blue orb or light come from the side from the West with a beam of light and joined into the orange fireball. My husband is submitting a separate report. We spoke via telephone with the husband, and he seemed to be a quite eloquent, and a very serious-minded, witness. We strongly suspect that both witnesses are highly credible. PD

We were camping at Sawmill Flats, a campground near Cliffdell WA. We were in our motorhome about 8:30pm at dusk. About 100 meters across the Naches River, a red fireball appeared. My wife went to bed thinking it was probably a campfire. I was laying down in the center bed watching out of the window. Then I noticed the glowing reddish orange ball hovering along the road across the river moving slowly. I thought it was an emergency vehicle. Then, it went to the upper tree line in seconds. Moved left, then right, then East maybe a mile (I could still see it). It then returned across from our camp and split into 2 flaming red balls. Then a white ball appeared. It was a little smaller than the reddish ones. It emitted a blue beam and was moving all over the place. I watched it for approximately 1 hour. Then it went up into the sky to where I couldn't see it anymore - it was making a whirring sound. The original ball was approximately 24 inches in diameter, when it split into two, they were both approximately 24 inches in diameter too. The smaller orb was a little smaller.

Was driving down from my home on San Juan Blvd. turned onto Puget to head down the hill to the 7-11 on lakeway... at the top of said hill you can see out across the bay toward Lummi Island and the Salish Sea. I saw 20+ reddish orange objects take off from what looked like at least 8-13 miles out from the sea in a north easterly direction... I took some video, then went to the store than left a good 5 minutes later, drove back up the hill towards my house when I stopped and looked back out off the hill they were still taking off. There was no sound what so ever as you would expect from modern day military aircraft.. I've never known a airliner to fly in formation either... 9:54 pm pacific time.
