Fireball over Cliffdell, WA
A witness account on file, unevaluated. Most of the archive rests here, and honestly so.
The report, as filed
. We were camping at Sawmill Flats campground on Hwy 410 on Sat. June 4th. At dusk, I noticed an reddish orange ball of light across the Naches River, approximately 100 meters away. I first thought it was a light from other campers, but then it changed into what looked like a camp fire. A little while later, my husband started watching it as well. It split into 2 red moving fireballs, then had a white one in the middle. I quit watching it for a while, but my husband continued to watch. When I returned, it moved and I saw a light blue orb or light come from the side from the West with a beam of light and joined into the orange fireball. My husband is submitting a separate report. We spoke via telephone with the husband, and he seemed to be a quite eloquent, and a very serious-minded, witness. We strongly suspect that both witnesses are highly credible. PD

What would the paper say?
For a dated, located U.S. sighting, FAA radar data and ATC communications are the records most likely to exist. Through Aletheca, the house instrument, anyone can commission the request — filed, chased, and published in the open, refusals included. The draft goes over already written: the records sought, and the date window they would live in.
