Mineola, TX
Event Date: 01/17/2016 Event Time: approximately 14:56 Central Time (GMT – 6:00) Location Coordinates: 32°37'55.0"N 95°27'34.0"W Location Name: Mineola Nature Preserve, Wood County, Texas Weather Conditions: 52° Fahrenheit, clear with scattered thin high altitude clouds, a light breeze, and with wind gusts up to 13mph. Object description: The object appeared to be oblong in overall shape but irregular similar to a potato. It appeared to be silver blue very much like the moon seen during the daytime. Its apparent size was slightly smaller than your thumbnail viewed at arm's length. It appeared to be blurry or hazy like an object viewed through the atmosphere at great distance. This is in contrast with the commercial jets seen at the time that were in sharp detail and white in color. This object made no detectable noise, made no condensation trail, did not appear to be burning in any way, and was very obviously at an extreme altitude. While visiting the Mineola Nature Preserve out on foot, me and one other family member we were watching the local aircraft. There was a small Cessna aircraft and a biplane flying at low altitudes, intermittently performing aerial acrobatics. This location is approximately 100 miles East of the Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) area and other commercial aircraft were traveling from West to East leaving the major airport hubs of the DFW area at midrange altitudes as they climbed towards but have not reached cruising altitudes. As we could easily hear the engine noise from the commercial aircraft, we would look up at them pass nearly directly overhead which is when we spotted the unknown object. At approximately 14:56, as a commercial aircraft passed almost directly overhead traveling East South East we spotted this object traveling North. As we watched the object it progressed from almost directly overhead to the north. It became difficult to see as it reached an inclination of about 35° above the horizon. The time it took to travel from approximately 90° above the horizon to 35° was between 15 seconds and 20 seconds. Immediately after loosing track of the object I checked the International Space Station (ISS) tracking website (http://www.isstracker.com/) to rule out the object as being the ISS. The website showed the then current position of the ISS as being over the Northern section of the Red Sea Moving North East. Conclusion: After waiting a few days to see if this object was reported by any news agency I decided to see if I could calculate the objects speed. Knowing that I can not accurately determine speed without knowing its altitude, I calculated this objects speed using two potential altitudes. These two altitudes were 35,000ft for a possible commercial or military aircraft and 200 miles for something passing at an orbital range. With the 35,000ft altitude, I came up with a minimum speed of 1,700mph up to 2,500mph. With the 200 mile altitude, I came up with a minimum speed of 51,300mph and a maximum of about 68,000mph. Given that there was no sonic boom and that the object was hazy and indistinct in a perfectly clear sky I believe that this object was outside of the atmosphere and passed very close to the Earth. The downside to this belief is that any object that could be seen during the day at that distance with that apparent size would have to be very very large.

My friend and I were sitting on a rather higher spot in our neighborhood to gaze at the stars and just hang out. After about a half hour of us talking about random stuff, I noticed a bright orange star looking thing at around 5,000 feet altitude.. But much bigger than a star. When I first saw it I knew it couldn’t be a plane or a shooting star, it was too big and too bright to be either of those. I pointed it out to my friend with a little alarming tone, and he shook it off as a plane. I tried to explain to him that it just couldn’t be a plane and he began to believe me after the object moved about 6,000 feet and vanished. Now we we’re both at an alarming state. We stared at the sky after that non stop and in a few minutes. It re-appeared in its original location and did the exact same thing. Moved a bit more this time and soon vanished again. Now we knew we weren’t imagining stuff. 1 minute later, I spotted a huge bright white circle at about 2,000 feet altitude zooming past at immense speed. It immediately grabbed my attention and I showed my friend. We watched it fly across the sky until it dropped past the horizon. This thing was giant! It’s not possible this was a balloon or any other man made substance...it just doesn't make sense. Meteors aren't that big and neither are comets. And I'm sure at that low altitude it would be on fire. But not a perfect circle. We have no explanation for either of these strange incidents but one more thing happened, soon before the white circle went out of sight a white firework light up at the opposite side of the circle without any sound which was kind of coincidental but I’m not sure that was anything of significance. I know the circle didn't make the firework because it wasn't in the same location. It just wouldn't have made sense.

Friday night driving home on Hwy 44 in between Freer and San Diego, Texas, I saw a bright bright light it was just hovering right over the power lines as I drove towards it I saw it so close it was shiny like really clean steel it passed almost right over me I really slowed down and saw it clear I rolled down my window the power source was coming from under it not like a plane or helicopter it made a sound but not really loud just like a shhhhhh I don't know it was too crazy I was in shock it just hovered there I should have pulled over and tried to take a photo but I couldn't believe it was right there it floated away slowly like it was looking at something... I should have called the cops or something i was in shock…

Object was seen going west to east, bright light did not change size, as a meteor would get smaller etc. Appeared under clouds, which I would guess to be 10,000 ft are there about. Very bright white, and round.

Adult male sighted an orange orb in northwest sky of Goliad County, Texas, on January 6, 2016, 7:00 p.m... It was 316 degrees on a phone compass. Using a protractor with it squared, the orb was 20 degrees from the horizon. Using the thumb as measurement, it appeared to be the diameter of a man’s thumb…approximately 5/8 inch. Appearing to move slowly northerly, then at once, it speeded up and disappeared due north….visible for only a couple of seconds. Witness indicates that the date of the sighting is approximate. PD

Saw the first one slowly moving across the sky and the disappeared into the low cloud coverage and the three more appeared in a line formation slowly moving and then eventually disappeared like the first one. They were red in color not changing just slowly moving. We have low cloud coverage this night and I believe that's why they just seem to disappear. I was talking to one of my neighbors and he pointed up to the north asking me what was that object in the sky. Looking into the north sky I could see a silver object moving at a high rate of speed. At first we thought it to be a airliner, but as it came closer, we could see it was a cylinder shape with no wings, no tail, no windows. There was a faint pulsing bluish band around the center of it. It was moving from north to south in a straight path at a high rate of speed. It seemed to be about twice as fast as an airliner in the sky. It crossed the sky in approximately one minute. Object appeared to be at a lower altitude than an airliner, emitting no noise and no contrail.

Standing at my back door looking east, saw bright object which appeared to be a star, just to the right of it another what appeared to be a star not as bright and to the right of that another not very bright. The object to the far right started moving downward and as I was watching the other 2 objects the large and smaller one they just disappeared. Two commercial jets flew over to the left of the area where the objects disappeared a few minutes later and it was easy to tell they were commercial planes with their flashing red lights, they were no where as high as the objects that disappeared.

I don’t know how to measure the speed or distance of any flying objects. I can only give a report relative to my own knowledge. I was driving on highway 116 in Texas, heading north toward Gatesville, around 8:10 pm (pure nighttime, clear skies and no visible moon). To my right (northeast) in the sky there was a flare of orange light, it appeared to be a four-pointed diamond in the sky. From my vantage point it looked about the size of headlight. The shape then appeared to move in a horizontal fashion (left to right, or west to east) while multiplying, so that there appeared to be three aligned orange diamonds, before it merged into a single shape and then disappeared. It was about midway in the sky, well above the treeline. The spectacle lasted about five seconds. I pulled over and grabbed my phone, but it had already ended. However, in its absence there were multiple moving lights, each about the size of a star. There were suddenly about three or four of them in the northeast sky, all moving in different directions. They were blinking rapidly like a strobe light and moving considerably faster than a plane. There was also inexplicably a shooting star that flashed between them. I got out of my car and tried to get video but they were too dim to be recorded. I immediately noticed that to my left (northwest) there were even more of the fast moving blinking lights, about four more. There was a rash of these blinking lights spread across the entire sky. Unlike the diamond shape, which was still horizon-level, these lights were moving freely about much higher, like satellites. It was admittedly hard to gauge their exact direction due to their strange lighting, but it still genuinely looked like they were disappearing and reappearing throughout the sky. I called my friend and observed the lights for about another ten minutes. I saw what looked like a normal plane-large, slow-moving, and with green blinking lights- appear on the northwest, heading east. Suddenly two more very bright, very big white lights appeared directly, distantly above me. They were about plane sized. They seemed to be high in the atmosphere but once again, I could easily be mistaken there. The two lights were moving down, one heading toward east and another toward the west. The westbound light suddenly made a sharp turn RIGHT, heading directly toward the other light. There was a loud whirring sound, like a divebomb. My friend on the phone heard it as well. It had a made a clear curving turn and accelerated. It was chasing the eastbound light. Combined with the noise and the pursuing object’s speed, I thought that I was going to witness a collision. I hung up the phone to record-however, both lights (still heading east) then grew dim and diminished in size, until they disappeared. I continued to watch the skies for another twenty minutes. While there was still an excess of moving lights (about four to six, ranging one eastern edge of the sky to the west), they were now dim and twinkling and unremarkable. They all seemed to eventually vanish. However, there was yet another orange diamond shape that erupted, the same size and location as the first one. It simply flashed out a single orange gleam, and was gone. I waited another ten minutes, but nothing happened. By now it was around nine o’ clock. I drove for another ten minutes to my destination. While there I waited outside and continued to watch the stars. Sure enough, in the east there was a blinking white light jetting across the sky toward the west. This light was about plane sized. About midway across (at the northern point) it suddenly seemed to stop, but it was in fact only moving very slowly. It had very instantaneously dropped its speed- however the blinking rate of the lights was still the same. It then slowly flew eastward until it was out of sight. Though I watched for more, nothing happened afterwards of note.

FYI: The report from the female driver on Texas Highway 116: The area to her northeast would have been over Fort Hood. Fort Hood is not only a huge base, but it is home to several army specialty units & test projects. I do not know what she saw as this general area has produced a large number of reports, including many that sound credible, but I suspect she witnessed some military activity.

Driving home from work I was trying to take some photos of the sunset and the clouds and after looking at the pictures I found something strange as it appears to be an unidentified flying object that was not visible in the sky when the picture was taken. This was around 6:45 in the evening. There were NO Airplanes or HELICOPTER in sky at the time either.

I was walking back from the mailbox and was looking at the contrails and cirrus clouds. I noticed what I thought was a jet in the western sky flying from east to west, but then noticed it wasn’t making a contrail. I stopped to look more closely and saw that it was an oblong (short cigar shaped) object without wings. It was slightly too long and thin to be any of the blimps/dirigibles I had every seen. It was very high, guessing somewhere above the level of the contrails and moving very fast for what I thought the altitude to be. It appeared very light grey/tan, just a little darker than the clouds. I was hoping to get another look after it passed behind a very wide contrail, but never saw it again.

I live in highrise building in downtown Dallas, TX. At approximately 19:05PM I was looking outside my large ceiling to floor windows facing North towards Uptown/Arts District when I saw 7 large round orange bright glowing fireballs in the sky at a relatively low position in the sky. The 7 separate bright glowing fireballs appeared in a V shape where the first glowing orange fireball was the apex or point of the V shape. There were then 3 of the same objects on each side forming a V. They hovered in the sky, and one at a time the fireball would get larger and radiate more brightly like a orange diamond. I have never seen such a brilliant gleaming shining light in the skies as this. One by one, they took turns growing larger in size and brighter in appearance and then would slowly fade away as they seemed to get lower to the ground. I lost sight as they kept going lower because of a highrise building. This lasted about 20-30 minutes and they were stationed at ! the same position in the sky, a low hovering V shape position.

Date and Time: November 12, 2015. Some time between 11:30pm and 12:15am at night. Location: Texas, Brown County. Three separate locations on Hwy 183. I was driving. First appearance: At roughly the following coordinates, 31.8792102,-98.918499 Second appearance: I was still startled by what I had seen so I wasn't really paying attention to exactly where I was. But it was somewhere between the coordinates listed above and the coordinates of the third appearance. Third appearance: At roughly the following coordinates, 31.9639032,-98.920559 What I saw: Two objects, possibly one, above the road. One long, oval shaped object with a shorter oval shaped object directly below it. The reason I say 'possibly one' object is because each time I saw it, it was identical in shape (though not in size) to the time before. Which leads me to consider the possiblity that what I saw was a singular object with two oval shapes or projections that may have simply been more obvious than the remainder of the object which I may not have been able to see. On the first appearance, the object about 20 feet away from me. It was directly above the road. From the top of the larger oval shape, to the bottom of the smaller oval shape it was possibly 10 feet long. It was stationary as I drove directly under it. If I had got out of the car and approached it I might have been able to just reach the bottom of it and touch it. However, when I turned back to see what it was, the object(s) had gone. The first time I saw it, the object(s) was not particularly bright. That is, it did not seem to shine its own light, but was well illuminated by my headlights. There was another car behind me who had to have seen it as well. Oddly, I hardly remember the second appearance. I only remember that I saw it and it looked was smaller. As I sit here writing this, I'm trying to remember, but I just can't. On the third appearance the object(s) was to my left, about 5 feet from the ground and about 10 feet away. This time it seemed about 15 feet tall from top to bottom and seemed to be brightly illuminated from within. I went back to try to get a better look, but again, the object(s) had gone. During this drive I was traveling at about 55mph. When I turned off of Hwy 183 onto the road that leads to my house, I drove at about 30mph, hoping that I would see the object again and be able to stop before I passed it, but the object(s) did not reappear. I'm curious to see what happens tonight on my way home.
