Date : Saturday/August 16th/2014 Time span : From approximately 4 a.m. to approximately 7 a.m. Where : Wrightsville Beach. What we (my best friend and I) witnessed: We walked out on the beach and stood by the water and immediately saw 3 bright orbs of light.. what I originally tried to explain to my friend as Mars, Jupiter or Venus.. one of them, further off in the distance to the right started moving to the right. I watched to see if it was a plane or chopper (The ENTIRE 3 hours there were no sounds of any type of craft – only the sound of the beach break )and then noticed it’s unearthly/unrecognizable gliding/ propulsion/velocity. We then noticed that it had a random wave of flashing lights amidst the bright white light. It was scouting/scanning an area of what appeared to be about a 2 miles or so left to right – sometimes making erratic motions.. but mostly hovering at times and then accelerating rapidly – immediately from the point of motionless – to the left or right/ then smoothly and rapidly moving in horizontal directions. We stood – mouths agape – for about 20 minutes staring at this floating object .. and then it occurred to me to observe the other bright lights that were in the sky – because I know that ships have been spotted in clusters – and to my astonishment - I saw the very same thing off to the right in the sky – closer and more above our heads – closer to the coastline. I exclaimed “look! There’s another one!! “and then looked off to the left where we had originally seen what I had thought to be Venus and Jupiter or Mars. They were closer to each other than the other ones were. They also, were both moving – side to side – left to right in their respective areas. Each UFO was in their own area. Each one was scouting/scanning/moving in their different width of the sky. The third one we spotted and also the first one we noticed moving – had the largest scope of movement. It appeared to cover 2 or 3 miles left to right in the sky. Whilst the second we saw off to the right and closer to the shoreline was more like a mile or so to the left and right and sometimes moved in an oval shape. Then the other two (the first two originally seen) I studied next. They were also moving in what appeared to be their own individual parts of the sky (much closer together than the others)…with a back and forth / left to right/ sometimes oval movement. I would like to note also that they all appeared at some time or another to move diagonally through the sky and then horizontally – immediately after moving diagonally!! They all made movements of a nature that I have never before seen in my life. There were also extremely bizarre cloud formations to the left. Not a cloud or star elsewhere in the sky. Except for massive/ massive clouds that appeared strikingly as an angel / kneeling /head bent / holding an open book. Very distinct crisp cloud formation – as if a large picture drawn. The massive “wings “of the angel were a different type of cloud. This cloud formation hovered for an hour in one spot over the sky. People brought chairs out to sit and watch it. Surfers stood and pointed at it. Seven of these orbs were spotted in all. There was a bright light over our heads and it was moving in the same fashion as the other ones. It was the only one that appeared to move – back and forth – in a very small space of the sky…whilst one off over the water moved back and forth in a large area. That one rippled with colors – almost like the phosphorescence that underwater creatures have. What appeared to be an odd form of twinkling we believe to be a fading and rippling effect. These orbs all disappeared gradually at different times. They would just disappear. Their brightness and intensity did not seem to be hindered or fade away as the sun rose. They just vanished one by one. The last one ever seen was the one we had noticed movement from originally (the third one spotted). It seemed to be more active – color wise for some reason – than the others. Maybe it was closer to us than the others. The ones directly over the shoreline- over our heads - just appeared to be bright white light…whilst said orb over the ocean was bright white but with waving colors. All of these seemed to be about a mile and a half to two miles high in the sky. Four of the orbs appeared to be in a diamond formation.

BRIGHT, ORANGE LIGHT. THE CRAFT WAS ABSOLUTELY SILENT AND FLEW BELOW THE LOW STORM CLOUDS. I ESTIMATE A 1000 TO 2000 FOOT ALTITUDE. I WAS SCEPTICAL ABOUT ALL THE REPORTS IN THE MYRTLE BEACH AREA, BUT I HAVE NOW SEEN SOMETHING WITH MY OWN EYE'S. I WOULD HAVE HEARD ENGINE NOISE AT THAT ALTITUDE IF IT WAS CONVENTIONAL AIRCRAFT.

We were sitting on the beach at night looking at the horizon. A bright fireball just appeared right above the horizon and then split into two equally bright circles and then disappeared completely after about five seconds. About two minutes later, it reappeared to the left of us and a lot closer than before. It appeared as one and just before it split into two again, something like a duller red spear shot off of the fireball and traveled a short distance to the right and angled towards the ground and then it disappeared. Then within seconds the fireball split into two and disappeared again.

While standing on deck of beach front house with brother-in-law, saw an oval shaped object with red light come from the south going north. Noted no sound coming from object. Inquired to brother-in-law if it was some type of helicopter at which time he stated no. Called husband to deck when object was approximately 300 feet away. It was approximately 300 feet off of ocean and flew parallel to the shore for approximately 500 feet then abruptly made a right angle turn to the east and flew at rapid speed up and out of sight.

While driving south along the beach road (milepost 6.5), I observed (at first) 2 bright reddish lights in the sky moving slowly north. I pulled over and stopped the car and got out to have a closer look. I would estimate that the lights were just off shore (@ 1/4 mile away). I then noticed 2 more identical lights also moving slowly north. The first set of lights were low in the sky (one light was above and to the left of the second light) and they moved very slowly to the north and made no noise at all. The first set of lights passed by me and the first light appeared to make a right turn and went out to sea and disappeared. The second light followed the first light a few seconds later and also disappeared out to sea. I then focused on the second set of identical lights that appeared to be @ 1/4 mile behind the first set. They were in the very same formation and followed the first set out to sea. In total, I would estimate the event lasted @ 5 minutes. Witness provides no contact information. PD

On the night of 8/14/14 at approximately 8:48 pm, I was traveling south on Highway 10 in Catawba, NC. As I rounded a corner in the road, still facing south, I immediately saw three white-yellow-orange lights in a vertical formation in the sky in front of me at a distance of about 10 miles. The middle light in the arrangement was orders of magnitude brighter than anything in the visible sky. The other two lights were also brighter than anything else in the sky besides the center light. The lights appeared to be about three or four times the size of a radio tower light or about a quarter of the size of a full moon. I would estimate that the lights were between 1 and 2 miles high in the sky. The middle light in the vertical arrangement appeared to be the center or focal point for the other lights to move around. Upon closer inspection, I noticed there were smaller, whiter lights that were not connected to the vertical arrangement that would move up, down, left,! and right. All of the smaller white lights not involved in the original vertical arrangement of lights would move independently but would all return to the center light, which was the brightest, before finally disappearing and then reappearing again seconds later at another point in the sky. I took video of this for two minutes before the lights, which were moving south, fell below the tree line. I followed in the direction of the lights and about 4 miles further south (going towards Lincoln County, NC) caught the arrangement of the three main lights through a tree line. When I stopped my vehicle, the three brightest lights were no longer in a vertical formation but a triangular formation. At this point the lights appeared higher in the sky, which I assumed meant I was positioned more “underneath” the objects. Upon inspecting the lights, and within a minute of seeing the object at the second location, two of the lights merged and then slowly drifted to again merge with the brightest center light. I was not able to video this formati! on. The object then passed below the tree tops and I continued to follow south. Three minutes later and two miles further south by southwest I witnessed the brightest main light for a few seconds before it continued to move south. This was the last visual confirmation of the object(s).

On Thursday morning, at 7:52 am, I took five pictures with my cell phone of a very, very, very fast, soundless, elongate silver with rings in front and back. It had a brite, white, aluminated shine from it. As it moved, its shape seemed different at different times. I will save this text somehow and try to post pictures. I heard NO SOUNDS.

While waiting for our sea turtles to hatch we noticed a orange circle in the sky was three lights then disappeared and then five minutes later two orange lights came back in the sky and disappeared this lasted for about thirty minutes. Possible hoax, we suspect. Contact information is bogus. PD

As we were standing on our balcony, we noticed a ship over the horizon brightly lite up. The next things we saw over the ocean in the sky were very bright orange orbs. At first it was one orb at a time. Half a second behind each other, in different directions. Then three at on time in a row. One would dim out then the one beside it then the other. At first I thought they were maybe military helicopters or maybe flares. But then after several minutes we saw them again. The last one was the three in a row again. This time I saw the three through the binoculars. They were orange but also had a red glare in them. And just like the first ones went off one at a time in a row. About two hours later the ship was no longer there.

The UFO looked silver and disk shaped. It had lights on the top that appeared to be red in color. And white lights on the side. When I came out of my house, I saw a slow moving object to the north of my house and then it took a westerly turn and was gone. I also saw a small plane that came from the south. Although there was only one craft observed, it really scared me. The craft made a soft, but high-pitched, chirp as it moved. And it is unknown if this craft landed or not.

A bright, round, orange ball, for lack of a better word, suddenly appeared in the sky (to the south), and drifted across the sky from east to west. It did not exactly go in a straight line, but also didn't move around or zig-zag. It seemed to dim slightly at one point, but then returned to its bright orange color. There were no flashing lights and no sound. It was visible for approximately two minutes, perhaps slightly less, and then disappeared as quickly as it appeared.

Sky was somewhat cloudy, I went out to backyard to close windows of my car and heard what sounded like a helicopter approaching, looked up and saw a bright electric blue light fly at an unusual fast speed, sw to ne in direction. The light was steady, not blinking, it looked too small to be a plane and there was only that one light no other lights blinking and by judging from the size next to the clouds it could not be too high, immediately after the helicopter appeared, I could not see what kind of helicopter (police, military, etc,), but I could tell it was a helicopter by its shape and white and red lights flashing. The electric blue light flew ahead much much faster, and the helicopter seemed to follow same route.

Around 12:15 noon as i was talking pictures of clouds over the capefear mall i what appears to be 6 (six) objects in my photo. All heading downward leaving what appeared to be a ligh cloudy trail behind. It was over and out of sight before i could really focus on them. Notice in the photo as it (the photos) are blown up in the left upper corner near the darkest clouds two leading objects, followed by two others, then to the right of them two others. There was no sound and i couldn't tell how close or far away they were. I'm emailing the photos so maybe you can tell me what they are. THANKS.

I was out with my dog when I saw it behind the Chatham County, Chapel Hill, NC, Walmart near the intersection of U.S. 15-501 Hwy and Smith level Rd in Chapel Hill, NC. The UFO seemed to blink out and only lasted a few seconds. It's trajectory seemed to be moving at a fast slightly downward angle, as if it was losing altitude. It appeared to be very large and was moving very fast at a low altitude. It was completely silent and moving faster than a military attack jet.

The lights were bright red, appeared to be round, and blinked. Once they broke off, they scattered throughout the sky and moved south, fading away in the distance. No sound. We assume a nighttime sighting, and have amended the time above. PD

I was outside on my back porch having a cigarette and some coffee early that morning while it was still dark and noticed a formation of whitish blue colored star like objects in a formation moving left across the night sky. Some of them would push in closer to the other or move up higher. I also noticed to my right another whitish blue object that was actually bigger than the other objects to the left and it seemed to be moving upwards in the sky and would dim it's lights and then become faint then glow really bright. I think that particular light was originally lower in the sky and when i looked at it through my binoculars it seemed to be shaped like a spherical galaxy or what you would call a saucer. The most eerie aspect of these sightings was the last object i saw not far from that one which was a yellow light that was the same size as the blue whitish one and it was also moving across the sky even farther right to the last one. It was a yellow color but! it flickered red at first as if it had rotating orb like lights on it and i thought i noticed it rotating as i looked at it through my binoculars but it was hard to say for certain from that distance. Upon closer inspection it seemed as though it may have been shaped like a cone or and upside down pyramid of sorts. The light rays coming from it even bent like it had a very different shape than any average type of aircraft upside down boomerang. I thought it looked strange. It seemed to change it's direction a lot. It would continue its path to the right yet it would simultaneously be going up but then seem to go towards the left. My brother also saw this as he was with me at the time and we were talking out on the back porch when i pointed it out to him. One last thing that i noticed while this was happening was a sudden flash of blue light that radiated out like a perfect circle from a very small circular point in the sky and it was in between the objects that were seper! ated by distance. It also happened to be in the middle of clou! ds. I ca n rule out thunder or lightning because it never followed suit with more flashes or any thunder or rain. The sky was clear save for a few clouds and the flash was a circular shape and very bright. I do live close to an airport but i did not hear any sounds whatsoever and they were all sighted very high in the night sky. This happened on Tuesday the 29th of July 2014.

I went outside to smoke and a flashing reddish, blue light that was moving across the sky against the trees caught my attention. The light began to hover for 2-3 min. Then began to fade. Within 30 sec. the light just completely disappeared. Within a 45 sec. to a min. The light would reappear in the same spot starting with a white light that would change to a reddish, blueish, green color. The light began to move from the north to the west very slow, then the process would start all over. When the light would move it would look as if it was three different color lights that were very close to each other but the distance would make it look as if it was one light. As time went on the light was moving away from me and east. At times the light would appear to suddenly drop down a short distance all of a sudden like it was going through terbulance while also moving east. After 2 hrs. the last time it disappeared it never came back. Three other adults other than myself witnessed the entire thing. I live 30 min. south of Ft. Bragg, N.C. And this was not any military aircraft. It was cloudy tonight and the light would reappear in front of the clouds at times so the object was flying below some of the clouds.

I had went out side in front of the house, my wife and I. We smell something burning and I thought a fire was near. So I looked in the sky to see if I could see bright light to indicate a fire was burning. Looking up in the sky I noticed the bright light that had green and red lights. There were about 10 sightings, moving in and around (I went back out at 10:15 pm and they were headed south toward SC). Not to think I was crazy I called my wife and showed them to her it appeared that they were darting in an out from behind the clouds. Then it was crazy patterns and formations and then they spread apart heading south.

From Greensboro I was driving to Raleigh to meet a friend. It was my first time driving this route. At one point I found myself looking way up above me whilst on a narrow road surrounded by trees on both sides of me. There were these blue lights gliding across the sky. I was unable to stop because there was another car behind me. It appeared that the lights came from a hovering craft that spun - causing the lights to look like they were blinking. It was such a spectacular blue. A glowing blue. Because I could not take my eyes off the road just to completely stare at it.. from a distance when I looked up next it had disappeared curving west and into the lefthand side of the trees.
