Driving home late at night we noticed 2 glowing and sometimes flashing/flickering red and orange orbs moving in the sky. They looked almost like balls of flame, but were round unlike flames. they were moving at different speeds, changing directions, seemed to be interacting with one another. Then a third orb appeared behind the others and followed behind. They then moved in a triangle like formation. i was driving so only was able to watch for approx 30 secs. since we witnessed this, i have talked to neighbors who have seen similar red and orange orbs lately in the portland area. i cannot find a legitimate answer to what they were. apparently a video of them were put on the local news, who also had no answer as to what these lights were. the truth is out there. I didn't see an actual craft. I experienced bright flashes of light around 2:30 AM. I was lying awake in bed and a bright flash of light lit up the whole interior of my house. I sat up expecting a thunder clap but none came. About 5 seconds later another flash lit up the house, again with no ensuing thunder. The flashes were way too bright, and had lit up the house too thoroughly to be a distant lightning flash and I suspected a storm was approaching rapidly. I got out of bed and went out on the porch to check it out, because I had windows to close if the storm would be a strong one. I saw a perfectly clear sky with lots of stars visible in each direction. Nothing was amiss or out of place a the neighbor houses. I'm baffled as to what the huge flashes of light may have been.

My friend and I were walking along the beach when we seen 4 orange round objects in the lower sky. One went away, came back, then disappeared. They were all moving short spurts in the sky, up, down then laterally, stopping and moving again. Lasted for 5-10 minutes. They were in the sky to the left of Neahkahnie Mountain, not far above the horizon. It ended and we didn't see them again.

Bright white light, round in shape. In space, but too large to be satellite. Moving from both west to east and north to south. usually in pairs. moving very fast at times and completely stopping at times. they were mostly flying in a straight line, but they would do 90 degree turn's or shoot straight up at times too. at one point my son shown a flashlight at one it seemed to come back toward us and shown a dim white beam of light down quite away's away from us. we told him not to do that anymore and we just spent the night watching the show untell we were asleep. the next night we witnessed close to the same activity.

My girlfriend and I witnessed a bright orange glowing light - at first we believed it to be Mars, but unbeleivably bright - until it started to move in various directions, seemingly hovering. As we got dressed to go check it out, I witnessed the light dim, re-emerge, and vanish. Its movement was unlike any vehicle I have seen.

About 20 people at a family gathering saw an orange flying object almost like a space capsule or a hot air balloon burner fly across the dark clear sky. It moved quickly but did not have the pattern of flight that an aircraft has. We spoke via telephone with the witness, and she sounded to us to be quite sober-minded and sincere. We suspect that she is a very good witness. PD

I WAS OUTSIDE IN MY DRIVEWAY WATCHING A LIGHTNING STORM. I HAPPENED TO NOTICE TWO GLOWING RED OBJECTS COMING FROM THE NORTH TRAVLING SOUTH AT A HIGH RATE OF SPEED OVER THE TOP OF MY HOUSE. ONE OF THE OBJECTS DISAPPEARED AND THE OTHER VEARED OFF TOWARDS THE SOUTH EAST. AS THE OBJECT PASSED OVER IT APPEARED TO BE A FUZZY RED GLOW AND MADE A VERY LOUD ROARING SOUND. LIGHTING WAS FLASHING AT THE TIME BUT NO THUNDER. I WAS STILL ABLE TO HEAR THE ROARING SOUND FOR APPROX. 6 SECONDS AFTER THE OBJECT WENT OUT OF MY VIEW. I AM A 56 YEAR OLD HOUSEWIFE. MY HUSBAND LISTENS TO COAST RADIO AND TOLD ME ABOUT THE REPORT FROM COOS BAY ON JULY 31, 2014 AT APPROX. THE SAME TIME I HAD MY SIGHTING, SO I THOUGHT IT WAS WORTH GIVING MY REPORT. My parents and my siblings and our friends and his kids were outside swimming at night i was walking back outside and all of a sudden i saw a rectangular shape fly towards our house really fast then slowed to a hover with a red light on the left and a green light on the left i told my dad and then everyone saw it and the first thing we think is aliens it hovered and went up and down it made a humming noise i got my video Camera and when i zoomed in i saw like a flash of green on the Camera only. My son, his friend and I were camping at Spaulding Pond in Josephine County on 7-31-14. High in the Kalmiopsis Wilderness area off of Hwy 199, near Selma Oregon. We were camping and had been hearing quite a few jets and jet engines flying fairly low over the mountains. We had been watching the stars and the sky due to all the jet noise. We were pointing out airplanes as we saw them, when a large orange glowing light appeared over the mountains toward the coast. It appeared stationary. It expanded and contracted a couple times and disappeared after a few seconds (maybe 5 or so). It looked to be over in the Coos Bay area from our mountain top view.

On July 31st, me and three other campers camping at ten mile lake near Coos Bay, Oregon, saw a single orange circle floating in the sky. We walked out to investigate, and as we were walking another light was there. We initially thought that the second light must have been behind it and we couldn't see, due to our angle. But later realized the second light just appeared. They then moved in a circular motion, got brighter and then smaller and disappeared.

We saw a orange glowing circle appear north of Tenmile Lake by Coos Bay. My son and his friend and my co-worker were camping. Skies were clear, we heard fighter jets fly by and were looking up at the sky. A few moments later, we saw a single glowing orange circle in the sky, when we got up to take a closer look and walked a few steps, it turned into 2 glowing circles. They appeared to have glowing circles within the circles, that fluctuated the color slowly between the orange spectrum. Then they shrunk and disappeared within 3-4 seconds.

My son and I arrive home at 10pm. As we were parking, at about 45 degrees up, to the north, we witnessed an object, a orange more yellow circular object that disappeared then, reappeared several times as it seemed to travel down. As it approached approx. 30 degrees, it split in two with what seemed like a lava lamp separation with particles between two separated parts. As it fell to a tree line that obscured our view there was a flash more like lighting, though the skies were clear with the exception of a few Sirius cloud whiffs. My son got scared and went into the house, and after about 30 seconds, there was a secondary flash that seemed to be an angle on the ground. I continued to watch and a third flash occurred approx. 2 minutes after that, that seemed to be at ground level. Though we are near a regional airport and a Coast Guard Station, no sound accompanied this sighting .

Since about midnight, I first saw my window light up like a flash on a camera coming from outside. My girlfriend and I and her son went out front and there has been flash after flash off in the distance at about treeline high coming from all over the sky. The flashes are so bright it lights up the whole sky and has different colors from red to orange to white. ' It's been over an hour and the flashes are still happening. It is very weird. It can't be lighting there is no thunder and different colors. We received a telephoned report of what sounds to us to be the same event. We are awaiting that report. PD

I was just coming back from PDX when I just got to Beaverton. In the far west, I noticed a bright red circular shape that I figured it was simply a meteor. However, during the course of five minutes, it constantly stayed at the same speed without speeding up or slowing. When I got to the corner of SW 170th and Rigert, the object slowed down while starting to pulsate color red. The object went from the west side of the sky to the east. After the so called "sudden course change," the object proceeded to head north by north east but at a much slower pace. The course change happened by the time I managed to get up the north side of Cooper Mountain (SW 175th). By that time it continue to slow and head northeast towards Portland.

I saw solid red and green lights (non-blinking)traveling south with the appearance of high altitude. The craft dropped verticle at a rapid rate at 80 degrees beyond the tree/roofline. No sound made whatsoever.

July 27th, 2014, approximately 10 p.m.. After receiving a call from a co-worker, I stepped out to my backyard to observe the skies south east of my home in Oak Grove, Oregon. The following account documents my observations over the next 2 hours. Within minutes, I spotted over a half dozen stationary objects in what appeared to be a "V" type formation, in symmetrical and near perfect alignment. Using my binoculars and a tripod to steady my view, I concluded these things were motionless, and displayed in common, a distinct array of multi-colored flickering lights, green, red and yellow. Within the first 20 minutes 2 additional objects appeared from the south taking positions flanking the formations southeast wing. These two objects appeared more distant than the others and not as bright, still displaying colored lights and assuming symmetrical positions in reference to the other objects. Separate from the formation was an object with the same features including the colored lights in a stationary position. This object was positioned more north from the other objects and shined brighter. During my observation of this activity, I was drawn to observe an entirely different type of object which appeared much closer to my home and much larger as it moved from dead south in a northwesterly direction. Its elevation was extremely low, and it was traveling at a low rate of speed very similar to the way the Goodyear blimp might travel. Because of its low proximity to the ground I was only able to observe it briefly, as it passed by the trees across from my home, obstructing my view. I would describe its shape to be similar to that of the bottom of a pie pan. The entire shape was lit up as if its exterior was amplifying a bright light from within. I made no further observations of this object for the remainder of the evening. Approximately 11:30 p.m., I made the most astounding observation. Appearing from the south directly headed over my home and my neighbors I saw two lights approaching my location in a direct south to north flight path. As it approached I was able to get a clear view as it passed directly overhead. Its frame was shaped like a "V" bearing one large, dimly lit, milky white spherical light, toward the outer most portion of each wing. These lights were not projecting any light they were more or less just a steady glow, with no fluctuating characteristics. I can only guess that this craft was flying at an altitude near 3000 to 5000 feet. I could make out its shape as it displaced the background of the sky above me. As for its size, it appeared larger than anything I've ever seen, military or otherwise. What also seems very strange is that as this craft moved in a slow steady northward direction, it made absolutely no sound. No sound whatsoever. Curious about the previous nights observations, I decided to observe the skies again the following night at 9:30 p.m., making similar observations with the stationary lights "V" type formation. This time there weren't as many. I counted five, one in the center, flanked by two on either side set apart by identical distance, each bearing the same colored light signatures. As with the night before, there was one singular object shining brightly above my house, slightly westward. I woke up at 4 am and stepped out to see if the lights were still there, only to find they were nowhere to be found.

i saw 7 orbs flying over portland oregon leaving forest park headed to the south east it was like when i saw them they heard us talking about them and then they all vanished in the same spot.... it was real i was not drunk at all.....3 in a triangle and 4 foloowing behind in a stright line then poof nothing.....

Me, my wife, & my son,decided to go for a walk down our street and up the street behind us on 7/16/14 about 11:30pm. It was a clear warm July night so we weren’t in any hurry or paying much attention to anything. As we were heading back up the street behind us I happened to look up at the trees behind the houses in front of us and that’s where I first seen it, OMG the color of that thing was absolutely CRAZY!! I told my wife and son to look at what I was seeing, I immediately went for my phone and got to the video recorder and started to record, but I wasn’t able to get the burnt orange, fire ball color because it had changed directions. At first it was coming from South to North, then turned and headed east towards Bend. I did get almost 3 minutes of video which I’ll post with this letter. This was the second time we seen this thing, the first was about 2 weeks earlier and there was 4 witnesses to that one, same color.

Tuesday night, at about 9:45 PM, July 15, 2014, in Southeast Portland, Oregon, as stars and satellites began twinkling, I saw a bright white light race across the sky from west to east. The brightness was like an Iridium flare from a satellite, only it was much larger in radius that a satellite appears to our eyes. I do not think it was a satellite because it was moving so fast and because the glow was so much larger than satellite. I do not think it was an airplane or helicopter either, because the speed was way too fast, there were no other lights besides the consistent glow, and the single white light was larger than any light I've seen on an airplane at night. Also there was no sound. If it had been in aircraft and if it had been flying that fast and presumably low enough to produce a light that large, then I expect I would've heard some noise but there was none. The flight path was west to east over highway 26 in Southeast Portland (Powell Blvd.) Many local aircraft fly this route but none fly it as fast as this: approximately 8 seconds from west horizon to east horizon. I can think of no category to fit the proper description of this light. I do not know what it is, but I'm pretty sure I know what it is not. And that's why I want to share this information here with you. Thank you
