Noticed 3 lights appeared to be over right side Employment Security Bldg, (to right of DOT) on East Capitol Campus. After watching them a minute they seemed to drop down behind trees. A few minutes later I saw one light then two then another. They stayed there for a bit then disappeared. This happened repeatedly for about an hour then I didn’t see any more. They were quite low and not headed for the airport. All I could see were yellow lights, round lights and they appeared one at a time. They also blinked off or sank low, one at a time.

Flying on way to Seattle, saw V shape craft obout 12-14000 ft flying through the clouds in East direction. It went through the clouds, and it was gone.

Was driving back to Seattle from Portland so headed north got to the dyke access area when I saw something down the way hovering. It looked triangular by the yellow lights, it looked like it was hovering and spinning in a circle like a microwave plate. The lights started to dim on it, like it was turning invisible. It wasn't far away from the road at all. Looked bigger then a plane. I was driving the speed limit is 70mph, so I couldn't stop or turn back around unfortunately. Preface: I am a former private pilot, so I am very familiar with aircraft, civilian and military. I was walking my dog through a field next to a local church on Christmas Eve evening while the church was letting out. I estimate the cloud base that evening was approx. 1000-1500ft AGL with scattered clouds. I saw an object approaching me from the NW (Narrows Bridge area here). Object was spherical in shape and emitted a brilliant, extremely coherent orange glow. I could see no other projections, wings, navigation lights, etc. Being so bright it was hard to estimate its size, but my best guess is between 1-4 meters in diameter. The object made zero noise. As it approached my direction it just skimmed the bottom of the cloud layers, moving through cloud material and lighting it up with the same orange color it was emitting. It sped up and slowed down erratically and quickly, moving very much as a living creature would as apposed to human aircraft or drone would. There was very little wind that night, so I doubt it was any type of lighter than air object. I estimate it varied in speed from 40-100mph for the entirety of my sighting. It never changed altitude. (~1000-1500ft) As the object got closer it did a gradual turn to the south and moved parallel to my location. It flickered as it moved. When it was moving slower the flicker rate was slower, as it sped up it flickered faster, and at a certain point it flickered so fast as to smooth out and appear as a steady light. Oddly, my dog actually looked up at it and barked at it. He really never barks or even notices aircraft for that matter. It was quite strange. I always carry a military grade 1000 lumen flashlight with me when I walk the dog at night, so as it went by I shined my light at its direction at full power, then switched it to strobe mode to see if I could 'get its attention' – it didn't seem to take notice of me or react in any way. It continued south for another 30 seconds then turned to the south-west and faded away in the distance. I found it somewhat odd no one in the nearby parking lot seemed to notice the object flying over. As far as I could tell no one was looking up at it but me. I should note, this is the second time in my life I have seen a glowing orange orb type object. The exact same type of object flew right over me in 2012. (I'm 51 years old as of this date)

I was watching the stars and noticed one of the "stars" started moving slowly. After about 6" of travel (from my perspective) it disappeared. I am always looking for satellites, but this object was definitely still, then moved slowly and then vanished. I'm reminded of the scene from Close Encounters of the Third Kind when they were looking up at the Big Dipper in the sky, and then it suddenly started moving towards them, and then broke up into the separate moving lights. This was much like that in appearance. Thank you.

I was driving: Westbound I-530 - at: 7:23am on: October 23rd. - heading for the freeway at: Arlington/Darrington exit. I noticed what appeared to be a plane flying slowly over the freeway exit and alongside Denny's Restaurant and the Arlington Motor Inn, higher up in elevation that most planes fly. It appeared to: stop then: it rotated and headed back (in the opposite) direction. It looked like a sleek silver Jet Plane but had odd wings with (bat-like) extensions hanging off its wings. I have never seen a plane like this before and wonder if we even produce planes like this? I wonder what the other drivers on the road thought of this: odd Plane? And if they were just as puzzled as I was, wondering, "What the heck is it?!"

I was looking in the sky Four of the big dipper end of the North star, when I saw two triangular shaped objects streak by in a south east direction, side-by-side illuminated by it looked like the city late The two triangular objects have like a rounded front and sharper towards the back tail section it only lasted about one second I could not tell the speed or height or size because of the night I had no references to go by I first thought it may be Two birds flying at Low altitude but it moved so fast and there was no wing movement That Could not be a bird I then thought maybe it was a military Aircrafts with no lights on Since it was by the Airport , but as it went by, I waited to hear noise and there was none S o to me it was definitely a flying Object that was Unidentifiable

There was another bright spotlight emitting from the center, shining down on the trees in the forrest. As I drove past it, I realized the craft was not moving. It was just hovering above the trees and made no sound at all. I passed it (too afraid to stop) and looked back at it. It was gone. I couldn't see it anywhere. Not in any of my rearview mirrors or when I turned my head to look.

One appeared suddenly, to make three lights, just as we turned north up a street. and then after a couple minutes the third light disappeared. Then another disappeared, leaving only one. The third disappeared and seemed to have moved up and to the right (south) at an angle that faded quickly sort of like smoke trailing. We were in our car driving in the town so it was hard to see exactly what was going on. This is our first sighting. Pretty amazing. Might have made a triangle, but they were close together as a group, but never crossing paths or touching.

I was at Friend's Landing in Montesano. Was sitting in my vehicle, when my Fiancee and I noticed a yellowish orange light in the sky. It seemed to be moving around, flying in circles and visibly turning itself, as it would get brighter when facing our direction. I called a family member who lives in Aberdeen to go outside and check it out, they could also see the anomaly in the sky. A plane was flying and the UFO noticed it, slowly flew closer for a short distance before taking off and making a large gap between itself and the plane. After the plane had past it continued to fly randomly side to side and in circles, my fiancee decided to flick our headlights on and off. The anomaly turned towards us and slowly flew our direction, so my partner flicked the headlights on a couple more times and it came closer but stopped before we could make any shape of the craft out. The craft continued flying around randomly, but at this point we had to head home. The light was still visible from my house. My Fiancee and I like to go outside a lot, and this anomaly has been seen by us multiple times. It seems to be watching this area, for reasons unknown. It generally looks like a bright yellow-orange star. Seen year round, noticed it last summer for the first time.

I was on my balcony when I saw movement to the north/northwest. I looked over and saw a bright white light moving straight down several miles away, starting at about position angle 30 or so from my position. I only saw it for about a second before it was below the treeline. I have worked maritime search and rescue before so I know it was not a flare or firework as it's descent was too fast and did not seem to be burning, and it was also too fast for a plane or helicopter...I saw no additional lights that those craft would have on wings or tail, just the white light, though it would have been in the rough direction of Paine Field. It looked as though it was intentionally moving down in a straight line, not crashing or falling. It also seemed much too bright to be light reflecting from a bird or bat, and there was nothing else in the sky that I saw that it could have fallen from. I continued to watch that direction for about 10 minutes and did not see it again.

My son and I were barbequing on our back deck during half time of the Oregon/WSU game. My son said "look, a sattelite!". Then we both saw one trailing the first. They both stopped! Then it looked like something took a shot at them with some type of particle weapon (looked like a shooting star went right between them). After the shot, they left on a reciprocal course back to the southwest. The shot (or whatever it was) appeared to come from the Yakima Firing center. It was not a rocket, way too fast. This all appeared to happen outside of the atmosphere. I am a science teacher and my son is an electrical engineer.

While stargazing with the assistance of a Gen.3 White Phosphor night vision device, I observed three lights which maintained a consistent triangle formation, very high up in the night sky. The lights were first observed to the S/SW 30-40 degrees off the horizon, and passed high overhead, continuing to the north horizon in only about 30-45 seconds of time. I don’t believe I would have seen it with the naked eye. When the lights passed in front of other celestial objects, they were momentarily blocked, suggesting some shape/solidity/mass detween the three lights observed (so I believed it to be a triangular object). The rear two lights seemed to move occasionally, relative to each other, in a manner I could only describe as ‘wagging wings’. No sound was heard, or other lights observed. This thing was high, and FAST. Just incredible! I’ve seen shooting stars, satellites, the International Space Station... NEVER anything like this before. On Wednesday evening, September 19th, I was leaving George, WA. Westbound on i-90 at Milepost 149 on my regular route. 2 miles West on the highway, looking to the southwest, 7 lights in a cluster appeared. There distance was about 12 to 14 miles. The moon was out on a clear night sky, casting light on the distant ridgelines. Having driven this route hundreds of times, I was very familiar with the distances. The lights were a light straw color, 3 large ones in the center,and 4 smaller ones lined up on either side below the larger ones. Compared to the moon size, this cluster was about 1/3 the size. These lights are a very long ways away, and would be bigger than any aircraft I have ever seen. I was driving straight towards them, and there was no movement. After about 4 minutes they just faded out like turning off a wall dimmer switch. About 4 minutes later, while getting ready to decend the grade to cross the Columbia River at the Vantage bridge, they appeared again. This time there was one more light on the upper left of the cluster. I watched them for about 2 more minutes and then they faded again. As I climbed the grade, I saw them again to my left, which would have been to the south. They were gone in a few seconds, but were well below the distant ridgeline. The distance at this point was less than 2 miles. I am a veteran of the U. S. Navy, with 3 years as an aviation machinest mate. I started up jets with ground support equipment. Also, my view from my house on the south side of Ephrata, Wa, gives me a good vantage point of military and commercial aircraft that utilize the Moses Lake Airport for training and test purposes. My sighting was nothing I have ever seen before!

UFO Sighting 9/18/18 Approx. time of sighting 9:52 P.M. 9:55 P.M I’m out hunting elk by myself on the Washington State coast. I’m hunting on Weyerhauser property located along Hwy 101 between the towns of Aberdeen and Raymond. At the mile marker 69 on highway 101 there is a locked Weyerhauser gate. The gate is located on the East side of the hwy. I was driving the gravel roads hunting elk in the vast forest east of highway 101 behind the locked gate at mile marker 69. After an uneventful evening hunt, I decided to go to sleep early. Once the evening hunt was over and it got dark I decided to look for a place to park my pickup truck with canopy, so I could get to sleep and get up early for the morning hunt. I’m driving east on Sprucedale Road and I take a left onto a lesser traveled road at mile marker 10. I drive on the side road for about 2 to 4 miles. I come to a crest of a small hill and find a small semi flat grassy spot surrounded by taller trees. Because of the taller trees, most of the view of the night sky was obstructed. I didn’t check a compass but I believe my truck was facing west, and the rear of the truck was facing east. It took me a few minutes to view the area and turn my truck around so I could park on a semi flat spot, with my head slightly elevated. Once I parked, I gathered some stuff to get ready for bed like my cell phone flashlight and pistol. Once I felt I had everything I needed, I shut off the truck engine and headlights. I exited the truck and walked behind the truck. I had my back to the back tailgate of my truck and I was facing what I think was East. I had to pee. My view as I was standing there peeing was the gravel road as it went down the hill in the opposite direction of the way I traveled in. Since there were no trees on the road itself. The road provided a small opening in the sky. I didn’t see anything unusual at all. I could hear some wrestling in the brush about 30 yards in front of me. Probably a small animal. I finished my business and I opened the truck canopy and, crawled over the tailgate into the truck bed. I spent the next maybe 2 minutes or less situating my sleeping bag and getting my shoes off. I get into my sleeping bag then I notice it. I left the damn dome light on. Crap, it's not going off. I must have left it on when I was gathering stuff for bed. I get out of bed slip on my shoes open the canopy door and crawl out. I walk over to the driver door open it and turn off the dome light. Finally, I can go to bed and get some sleep. I shut the truck door and turn to go to the rear of the truck. That’s when I see it. In the small opening in the sky I was just looking at a moment earlier when I was peeing now has a fairly bright slightly reddish color light in the sky. It seemed the light was perfectly situated in the center of the opening from my perspective. It seemed kind of shapeless, just light, then at times it looked as if it had a subtle square shape. Mostly it looked like light and the shape was difficult to see. No noise. My first though was wow what the heck, that must be Venus, but it seems just a bit too large. It was much smaller than a full moon for perspective. I’m looking at this light and it seems to be moving wildly but slowly in a fairly large space in the sky it was maintaining. Although it looked like it was moving, its general location in the sky was fixed. I’m thinking is it really moving or is it that twinkle phenomenon that a star or planet gives off to give the illusion that its moving. I am now trying to figure out if it is moving as well as the distance from me. As far as the distance from my naked eye it seems like it might be closer than a planet would be. At some point it looked as if the light was only 100 feet in the air. I held myself and my head very still and looked at the tree tops and the distance from the tree tops to the light. When I did this the light appeared to be motionless in the sky. After I did this I didn’t see any more movement as if it stopped when I really focused on its movement. This was confusing because it looked like it was really moving. I walked back to the truck and grabbed my binoculars from the dash. I looked at the light in my binoculars and I thought wow it seems further away than with the naked eye and a bit crisper, so maybe it is Venus after all I told myself. I was going back and forth viewing this with binoculars and naked eye, trying to analyze what I was seeing. Just when I had convinced myself this was Venus, poof it vanished. It was instantaneous, I was staring at it intently and all of a sudden nothing was there. Ok that freaked me out a bit, I almost dropped the binoculars. That is defiantly not Venus or any other planet or star. It didn’t dawn on me until after it was over, when I was analyzing the light to try and determine if it was a planet. I forgot that I was just looking at that spot in the sky while I was peeing moments prior and there was nothing there so had I realized that I could have ruled out a planet right away. When it vanished, it didn’t fly off or streak away. There was no left right up down movement at all. It was there then it was gone it just disappeared from sight instantly. There was a weird detail at the very instant it disappeared the night sky in that area seemed to go a shade lighter. I thought holy crap, that didn’t even look real. The light change was very subtle but I seen it. It reminded me of older movies where the eye could pick up the subtle change in the scenery when they cut and splice scenes. I thought the light change was like a reset or something. It almost looked fake like a movie but not. Omg maybe I was abducted and they just dropped me back off. Moments after it vanished, I jumped in the back of the truck bed and grabbed my cell phone and pistol. I was a little freaked and excited. I got into the cab started up the truck and drove away. I checked the time to see if unknowingly hours had gone by. There was no unexplained time loss. I felt like I was only on the site for about 10 minutes. I called my wife to tell her what had just happened as soon as I got a block or so from the site. The call was made at 8:56 pm. I drove back to the gate on highway 101. I drove down the road to the park and ride about 10 miles north of the gate. I slept the rest of the night in the back of my truck at the park and ride. The strange light was there in view for 2 or 3 minutes total. Its creepy to think about but If I hadn’t left the dome light on I would never have seen it. I would have just gone to sleep. It seems as if it waited for me to get into bed before it appeared, because it didn’t appear until I got in the truck bed and shut the canopy door, as if it was waiting for me to get in so I wouldn’t see it show up to watch me. The next morning I went back to the exact spot to investigate in the daylight. I seen nothing but forest. I don’t know what it was. I never seen it appear, but I did see it disappear.

I was driving southbound on I 405 through Bellevue, Washington, in September, when out of nowhere came this craft. Flying in a southerly vector parallel to my direction of travel. My radio was on and traveling at highway speed there was no way to tell if the craft made any noise. The craft appeared to look like a crown flying backwards, grey/black in color with many large white lights around the perimeter. I do have video which I will also attempt to send. I have never seen any footage of a craft remotely resembling what I saw on this morning. I work in aerospace and I understand the local flight paths for our local airstrips. This craft was not on a typical trajectory for any of them. Reflection off of windshield?? NUFORC and source of report agree that the object appears to be on the near side of the traffic signs, strongly suggesting that the object in the video provided is a reflection or lens flare. PD

On the evening of September 13, 2018, at about 9:15 p.m., I stepped out on the porch in southeast Spokane county and saw what I first assumed were the navigation lights of a commercial flight heading toward the West coast. I see these flights a lot, and most of those flights are at around 30,000’, and the red, blue and white flashing lights that I saw were at about that height. Then, I noticed that these lights weren’t moving nearly as fast as expected, so I ran inside and grabbed the 10X binoculars. With the binoculars I saw either many small lights on an immense object, or many objects flying in a choreographed manner. There were many lights very close together, and those lights were pretty irregular in their flashing frequency, color and brightness. These compacted lights were arranged in a rough semi-circle, which gave me the impression of an extremely large solid object. But then I observed several small but bright lights moving independently of the rest. One of these lights was a considerable distance away from the compacted lights, at least two to three miles away by my estimate. That light was flashing a white color, and it only flashed twice that I saw. After watching these lights for about a minute, they seemed to be dimming. But I then realized that the whole “swarm” of lights was moving West and away from my location. Looking up I saw one of the regular commercial flights heading West, and in the general direction where the lights were. It appeared that the lights started moving in response to the commercial jet. I say “swarm” because at that point the compacted lights appeared to be separating from each other as they moved away, with the independent lights trailing. Much like a swarm of insects might do. It seemed weird, but I really didn’t think much of it until yesterday when I watched this YouTube video apparently showing a “swarm” of objects over St. Petersburg, Russia, on September 13, 2018!: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FPkbhQqaAsU What is depicted in the video is similar to what I saw, but the object(s) that I saw were flashing different colors.

On September 9th, 2018, at approximately 10:35 A.M., I was looking out of my upstairs bedroom window on the South Hill of Spokane. Facing north, I saw an object traveling across the sky that was dark reddish brown in color and was shaped like a disc or rectangle. The object didn’t make any noise or leave a trail. The sky was clear blue with no clouds or other objects in view. I visually followed the object traveling in the sky from east to west for approximately five seconds when it dropped in altitude and changed direction moving south west of my window and out of view. It moved horizontally and sped up when it changed direction. The sighting lasted about ten to fifteen seconds. The object was too large to be a drone and at an altitude that would be occupied by aircraft seemingly. I am 38 years old, often looked to the sky in admiration, but this is the first time I have seen anything resembling what I saw this morning. We spoke via telephone with this witness, and he seemed to us to be quite sincere and sober-minded. We suspect he is a very good witness. PD

Last night I was skywatching with binoculars in the hopes of seeing anomalous craft. This is an activity that I do along withy my brother with some frequency in the summer. In the last few weeks we've seen some strange fireballs and flashes that couldn't be accounted for by known aircraft or satellites. My process with the binoculars is to watch one area of the sky for a few minutes, then move to another area and wait. I often can see satellites not visible to the naked eye this way, and I can track them across the sky easily with the binoculars. I am an experienced skywatcher and can distinguish most aircraft, satellites, and meteors. I was looking towards the west and a series of objects entered the frame of the binoculars from the north. It consisted of six white spheres arranged in a straight line, but the line itself was oriented maybe 15 degrees to the right of the direction of travel. A good analogy is if you took a v-shaped flock of flying geese and removed half the geese. I immediately started tracking the objects across the sky until they reached the horizon to the south. The binoculars I was using were 7x zoom, and the full width of the formation filled roughly one third of the view area of the binoculars. The formation was very fast, from the moment I began tracking it to the moment it was beyond the horizon was less than three seconds. The spheres themselves were several times larger than a commercial airliner appears in the binoculars at cruising altitude (30,000 feet). The objects themselves appeared to be quite high, but judging by their size it seems unlikely they were in space. The objects themselves are difficult to describe because of their speed. They obviously were lit, but only dimly. It almost appeared if they were a projection, perhaps semi-transparent. They somewhat reminded me of seeing spotlights projected onto clouds when I was a child, but the sky was clear and there was nothing to project onto.

Was sometime around 1 in the morning, facing North . I was looking outside my window at some other strange objects in the distance, when I noticed what appeared to be one of the "stars" get closer, as if it was falling to earth. There was a shooting star nearby it for a second. Then, this object glowed into a "golden entity" that could possibly even have been some sort of a celestial being moved toward the East slowly, and then effortlessly glided across the sky. Reality seemed to "ripple" around this object. Even Stars appeared to "get out of its way" as it moved. Felt good to watch it, as if I'd been waiting my whole life to see it. Ran outside my house to chase after it, but by that point it was gone.

This sighting was made by my wife and daughter. As I approached them in my truck, they were looking and pointing to the sky. I pulled up alongside and my daughter was wondering about a small dot of light in the sky was doing. Both ladies were observing it moving around in a small area of the sky near an “aging” airplane contrail. The contrail was actually providing a reference as it moved along, and across it, and seemed to be making some right-angle moves at times. I was attempting to see what they were seeing, but not able to do so. (I was actually mistakenly looking at for the object along the wrong contrail—there were 2 fairly close together and parallel in the sky and the one that I needed to be looking at was higher up, and the roof of my truck was blocking the correct one). I reached under the seat and handed my daughter my binoculars. She described it as “round” and either “spinning or pulsating” at about 1 second intervals. (Still a fairly small dot even with the binoculars). I was frustrated because I couldn’t see it, but was looking about 10 degrees of arc in the wrong area). She watched for about 5-10 minutes until it faded from view as it headed south. (From the angle in the sky, it would have been probably over the Veradale or Liberty Lake area).
